Syria's eyes started and awoke with a jerk to the arm. Bloom was standing there, with her arm on Syria's forehead. "Sis, you don't look too good. Maybe you should see the nurse." Bloom said. Syria wasn't feeling right. Her face was covered in sweat. Syria sat up straight with the covers still around her, Kiko had jumped up into her hands. "I…." she started but changed her mind. She didn't want Bloom to feel bad. "Nothing. I'm fine, really." Syria said placing Kiko onto the ground as she took the covers off and made her bed quickly. "So since your acing Potionology, maybe you can help me and the girls on something?" Bloom asked. Syria looked to the other bed it was empty and made. Amaryl had left without her. The other girls had left without her as well. Syria sighed. She hadn't told, Bloom that the other girls and herself hadn't been getting around especially Amaryl. Syria went to her closet and opened it up getting into her outfit behind the screen. Syria came out, "You haven't made the potion? It's due tomorrow." Syria said crossing her arms. "We've been busy." Bloom said guilty as ever.
Syria rolled her eyes at the thought of them being busy. Syria hadn't done much of girl time with Bloom as of late. Bloom had even forged a group with the rest of her dormmates. Syria just had roommates she didn't have any friends yet and it was nearly the end of the semester before their week break. "You'll have to do that on your own." Syria stated. "I'm sure, Musa can help. She is passing all of her classes." Syria told her. "You can do your own homework." Syria said she grabbed a towel from the hanger, and left Bloom standing there in her dorm room before tracing her steps. "Please leave." Syria said. "This is my room."
Bloom being hurt by what she just said left the room and out the dorm room large door from Syria's lounge area. Syria looked down at herself, got back into her bed, and put the covers back over her and fell asleep once again.
The Phoenix flew around her not two times but five times. In and out of her chest as if it was a part of her. She didn't understand why this bird was flying around her. The Phoenix Power, why her? She was just an ordinary earth girl. Like her sister was. Syria looked through to the outside. She was standing next to an older man.
Though his face was dark, she couldn't see who it was standing next to her. In the distance of the window she could see a family of four, it was a mother, a father, a teenager and a young child. Again! She was standing right next to the family.
They were standing the ground looking down. The father looking person, stood there with a hand on Syria's shoulder only it wasn't her 16 year old self. It was a small girl about her age and the girl looked like she could barely walk.
They were looking at a memorial. Syria quickly tried to see whose name it was but again, the scene vanished.
Now she could see walls on fire, people screaming in the distance. Down the hall, she could see three terrifying looking people who flew like the Trix. The Phoenix was there again, there was the little girl holding another girl, both faces were blurred out but the younger one not even two years old was running through with the oldest girl. "Wait!" Syria said, as the walls around her rumbled and collapsed.
With a start, Syria woke up. The sun was rising again. She had slept the whole day and forgotten to do her homework. She had about an hour to do it before breakfast and an hour ½ before first class. They had Griselda that morning for magical flying only freshman took. Syria looked at herself, went to the bathroom and showered. Before grabbing a bite and finishing up her homework, and lining up to go outside with the rest of the class. Transforming from their normal outfits to their fairy form Syria flew up with the rest of the class. She saw Bloom, Tecna, Musa and Flora but Stella was nowhere to be seen. "Now, this class will be a little different. You'll be learning defensive spells. I want you to team up, please do not team up with your dorm mates, and team up with someone you haven't had the chance of meeting or knowing well. Bloom, Syria, do not team up together." Griselda stated. "Your sisters, you already know each other."
Musa flew over to me and landed next to me. "Hey, Musa." Musa waved at her and went over looking at me. "Let's do it together." Syria nodded and flew up together. "Good, Musa do your best to Syria, Syria block the spell. If you even learned anything from last week." They all knew that Syria had fire magic. So she was maybe the fairy of Flames.
"Power Cord!" Musa yelled as purple vibrations came out of her hand, Syria waved her hand "Flame Barrier!" The vibrations bounced of the barrier hit Musa onto the ground. Syria feeling bad, "I'm sorry!" Syria said flying down next to her. "I…" Musa shook her head "That was awesome. I'm fine." Syria said. "I'm tired, I was just supposed to wave of your attack." Syria hung her head. "Hey, Syria. It's all good. No damage done." Musa watched Syria go from fairy form to regular clothes, after class ended. "
"Miss. Grumpy was too good to show up to class I'm guessing." Tecna replied after their first class after lunch.
Syria waited outside of the doors as she was the first one out for Bloom to come out. "Bloom, I need to talk to you." Syria said. If Syria was having those dreams then it was possible that Bloom was having the same dreams. That is if they were actually related. "Can we talk?" Syria asked. "It's about our possible past." Syria explained. "Come with me to find Stella and we can talk after that." Bloom said.
Bloom ran past her and up the marble staircase and straight into the hall way of dorms and into her dorm room. Syria ran after her, stopping as Bloom had stopped and ran right into her knocking them both down on the ground. Flipping her long red hair so she could see. The room was a disaster. Everything was torn up, the couches were moved to the side and the cushions taken out the books on the book case with all the books were no longer on the shelves.
"Woah? Bloom what happened to Stella last night?" Syria asked as she examined the area. "She went on a date with Prince Sky, and well wouldn't say much." Bloom said as she went into her and Flora's room which was destroyed, Musa and Tecna's room was destroyed. The bathroom was flipped inside out. Stella's room was the last one. It was also destroyed. Stella ended being behind the door closed it. "Bloom, I want to know where my ring is?" Stella said. She picked up a chair and threw it at the wall. "Tell me where it is now, Bloom!" Syria called for her. Stella didn't think twice and threw a dark energy ball at her and then vanished through the window, shattering it into pieces.
The other girls ran in as well and looked at the place and the disaster Stella had done. "Woah, Syria is Bloom okay?" Bloom had been knocked to the side, getting up. Syria helping her up. "We'll talk about my dream later." Syria told her. "Go find, Stella. Just be back before nightfall." Syria warned her. "I'm going to go the library and see if I can come up with explanation for my dream." Syria told Bloom. "We'll talk in the morning, Syria. It's Saturday after all." Bloom said placing a hand on her shoulder and the other girls ran out of the room and onto the next bus to Magix.
Syria made her way into the library, and onto the platform to find the proper books. "The Phoenix." Syria said placing a hand on the reader. Three books came out. Syria took the three books and went and sat down at a table in the back of the library. Mrs. Barbatea, started to put some books back on the proper shelves from the students who were in their earlier. She not wanting to read the title of one of the books, "Legend of the Phoenix." She examined it closely. "Is there something wrong, Miss. Barbatea?" Syria asked. "That book, it hasn't been seen in centuries. It's not a Fairy Power it's a wizard power passed down to the same family as long as those family members were wizards." She told her. "How come you have it?" She asked politely. "I….had a dream. This phoenix kept on going in and out of a girl. As if, that girl had that power. Then…that same phoenix was on a Grave Stone. Standing looking at it was a small girl, maybe around 2? And an older man. Both of them being blurred out. I couldn't see their faces."
"I see," the librian stated. "The only wizard who has that power, is Headmaster Saladin. You may want to go visit him tomorrow." She told her gently. "Right." Syria said. "Either way, the library closes in ten minutes. I'll put your books away." Syria stood up. "Thank you, Miss. Barbatea."
Syria left the library and made her way back to the dorm room. By the time, she went past Blooms' dorm, they were already back, and it sounded like major trouble. Not wanting to bother, Bloom or the other girls, Syria went to her dorm. She would talk to Faragonda about the dream and talking to the headmaster of Red Fountain was the next stop. She had to figure out this dream.
