Alright guys this story takes place right after the Toradora anime ending. This is my very first fanfic and this anime is what introduced me into fanfics. Some minor changes to the end because why not. I want to apologize in advance because im not that great at writing. To finish off this authors note i want to say that this story will focus on what will happen to the friend group of Taiga, Ryuuji, Minori, Kitamaru, and Ami. my time scaling of the anime is a bit wonky but i will talk about that in the next chapter(if one is made). I hope you guy and girls enjoy my very first fanfic and the second longest thing i have wrote in my life.

Ryuuji perspective

"Yea what? I'm here because I wanted to surprise you." She Blushed as she walked out of the broom locker and towards me. "Is it me or have you gotten taller?"

"It's gotta be you because I haven't grown a single millimeter, same old story." it was then I saw a tint of sadness flush over her eyes. "You know what?" She looked up to me not prepared for what I said next. "I love you." Her eyes glowed as she heard those words she had wanted for a year and a blush starting to form. "W-wha-what why would say something embarrassing like that?"

"Well I didn't want you to feel lonely so I wanted to say it here and now," I said as I picked her up for a kiss

Ami, Perspective

Minori was always into looking to the sky for the things she wants and it so happens that two of the things she wants most were up there "Hey, guys look up there" "So that is why he ran past in such a hurry?" A small smirk started on Kitamaru's face. "Come on guys he is trying to hog taiga all to himself. (-)" she tried to rush off but I managed to catch her before she blitzed us, "I think you should hold off on that look at what they are doing," my face suddenly tinted a slight pink and butterflies formed in her gut against my will.

*Ryuuji and taiga kiss*

Ryuuji perspective

"I love you too, now put me down before I hit you" I did before she had a reason to throw me out the still opened window. "You wanna go down and see the others" *she Nods in agreement* "I saw Ami on the way up so she might have already ruined the surprise."

my OCD started to kick in so I turned around close to the windows "She would never, you know she is nicer then what she lets on"

"I know I'm just pulling her leg" Taiga had suddenly frozen and started blushing like a bright red tomato. "What are you looking at" as I finally look outside to see a huge crowd of people looking up at us and screaming out a bunch of gibberish. "We better get going now because it may take a while to clear through the crowd "With the windows now closed I started walking towards the door "alright wait for me" Her face still has a pinkish tint to it.

Taiga perspective

As I walked down the stairs with Ryuuji memories from what I consider the good times, times I wish I could go back too flooded in. as we approach the last flank of stairs Ryuuji turned to me and said "are you ready for our future?"

I looked into his eyes made of a deep navy blue color that resembles the ocean of curiosity. I had paused for a second to take my last look at my past before I start a new "I am." as we got down to the locker room I heard a very familiar voice "TAIGAAAA!" Minorin blurted as she cried my name "I missed you much why didn't you tell me you were coming back"

"hey, pipsqueak how was your rendezvous"

"Oh look at that the stupid chihuah-" I had thought about Ryuuji had said and thought of looking at Ami in a different light "yea sorry about that Minorin I had wanted to surprise Ryuuji" I looked over at Ami and saw a vein pop "So what were you two doing in the-"

"oh, that? Ryuuji was giving me something that he had forgotten to give me last year. Right Ryuuji?" I had a turn around only to find out he wasn't in the same conversation.

Kitamaru perspective

"So what now Ryuuji?"
'I care deeply for both of them so if I want to help out I must open their minds so they can understand each other'

"I don't know, I might go all out with dinner tonight," Ryuuji thought that this was a question about how to please her but in reality, it was about their future. "Do you know if she has a place to stay?"

"Oh you're right I completely forgot that she had moved out of the apartment" Ryuuji hadn't realized the severity of the situation, "I think I might ask her to live with me"

"Do you think she will be up for it?" Ryuuji looked at me showing a clear sign of irritation "I don't know man. Why are you asking me all these questions anyway?" Taiga and Ryuuji both showed a lack of environmental awareness which made it hard for them to realize each other emotions and true intentions, "Well seeing as how much you seem to forget about the finer details of life I have taken it upon me to remind you"

"Well Thanks, man you have opened my horizons." he said this in a sarcastic vibe as he turned and starts walking over to Tiaga "see you later Kitamaru"

Ryuuji Perspective

"Taiga are you ready to go home?" I tried to say as I put on my most convincing face "H-home? O-oh yea I am ready now"

"Leaving already?" Kushieda hinting at something more "Of course, she is she wants to spend all knight with her knight in shining armor." Ami trying to prey on the now vulnerable Taiga "S-shut up stupid chihuahua!" Taiga started to blush she turned and looked at me with annoyance in her eyes "See you guys later!"

"Taiga?" I started to prepare my thoughts as my heart and mind started to race "Yes Ryuuji?"

"Do you want to stay at my place with me?" I tried to look past her eyes in my attempt to stop myself from blushing. Looking back at her she had picked up on my nervousness and started to blush "What do you mean?"

"Well seeing as your dad stopped renting your apartment and you not having a job I could only assume that you are homeless" I had dropped my blush and started to show concern for her and her well being "Well for your information I'm living with my mom." She was trying to avoid the conversation. "Well of course you are. Let me be a bit more specific."

"Do you want to live with me? Do you want to start our future… together?" She paused and even though it was only a few seconds of pondering, she took what felt like an eternity.'

Hey guys sorry about this being so long and boring but i had free time so i wrote to my hearts content. As you may notice and from what i said at the top im not to good at writing and i can clearly point out a bunch of mistakes but i love the toradora anime and i feel as though this will help me improve on my writing. I may continue the story if i feel like it or if someone shows interest(doesnt have to be you but just someone even in real life like family(before i even got the chance to finish my friends and family showed interest so i will be continuing )) well i hope you guys have a wonderful night and i will probably see you next time(this is trash in my opinion)
