Will had tried to call her three times now. He was worried about her; he knew she probably didn't want to talk to him, but she had tried to call him.
He had been just about to give up when the phone seemed to have been picked up at the other end.
"Fenisha? Are you ok, because before you called me and then the line went dead, I wasn't sure what to do-"
"Will?" That wasn't Fenisha's voice.
"What? Is Fenisha ok?"
"She's just fainted, I'm going to bring her to the ED so just giving you a heads up, ok?"
"Why did she faint?"
"She... she was crying before, I think she exhausted herself."
"Right, I'll see if I can find a free cubicle."
What had happened? Fenisha, crying? He certainly didn't think she was the sort of person to cry a lot... perhaps it was just pregnancy hormones. But he realised that this whole break up thing was probably a lot harder than either of them had realised.

When Jan came in with her, she had regained consciousness- although she was very close to passing out again from exhaustion. Will thanked Jan and took her into a cubicle.
"Hey," he said. "How are you?"
Stupid question. He mentally cursed himself.
"Embarrassed." She replied. "I've basically been crying into my boss's shoulder for the last 15 minutes."
He smiled slightly, helping her onto the bed. He got Robyn to take some bloods, to check that there was no underlying cause for concern. She then went to get the ultrasound machine, and then it was just him and her in the cubicle.
There was a long silence before suddenly couldn't take it anymore. He leant down and kissed her. And to his surprise (and joy) she didn't pull away.
Neither of them noticed Robyn returning with the ultrasound machine, gently pulling the curtains closed behind her. When they finally broke apart, and saw Robyn standing there, Will grinned sheepishly, when Fenisha was just smirking.
"Hi Robyn."
She smiled, and made her way over to the bed.
"This will feel a bit cold," she said as she put the gel onto Fenisha's belly.
A slightly blurry picture filled the screen of the ultrasound, and Will could hear the soft thump thump thump of the baby's heartbeat.
They both gasped.
"Is that..."
Robyn nodded. "That is the sound of your baby's heartbeat.

Her bloods had all come back normal and after an hour of being monitored she was free to go. Her blood pressure was a bit low, which was why she had fainted, but that wasn't uncommon in pregnancy.
"Erm, how would you feel about coming back to my place?" Will asked nervously.
He wasn't sure where they were in their relationship, but he didn't want her to go back to an empty house. However, he also knew that Ethan would probably want to be a part of the baby's life as well.
"I'd like that," she said.
Will grinned. "Well then, just let me change out of my scrubs then we can go!"
She nodded and smiled. As she was leaving, Jan came up to her.
"How are you?" She asked.
Fenisha smiled. "I'm fine, Will is taking me back to his house. I'm really sorry about before..." She blushed, slightly mortified that her boss had caught her crying.
"Don't worry about it. Take care," she added.
She nodded, as Will appeared, having changed out of his scrubs.
"Come on then," he said, putting an arm around her shoulder, leading her out to his car, as they walked out into the night.
In my opinion, this one isn't as good as some of the others but sometimes when you have ideas it can be hard getting them out of your head and into writing.
