If Sealand was honest… He knew he didn't belong in this white space.
He was too early.
It felt wrong, to stand here at what looked like a completely white train station.
However, what felt even worse was to realize he wasn't alone in here.
"Jerk?"
England of all people had been standing a few steps in front of him, facing the white horizon beyond the train station – only turning around in surprise at Sealand's voice.
"Sealand, what are you doing here? Do you know where we are?"
"I don't know why I'm here, but if I had to guess... we're currently somewhere between life and death."
"We're dead?"
"I don't think I am. You might be, but I think you can still fight your way back."
"Oh."
"... I don't like how disappointed you sound."
"Sorry, I just..." England sighed as he turned back towards the white light on the horizon beyond the train station.
"I can't help but to wonder if she's waiting for me, beyond this station."
"Who?"
"Mum."
England's face was filled with pain and longing as he sent Sealand a quick glance before he once again returned to stare at the white horizon.
"I can feel her. She's there, on the other side."
"Maybe," Sealand acknowledged and tried to swallow the lump of nervousness building up.
He couldn't feel anyone beyond the white light, but couldn't tell if it was because he had never met their mum, he wasn't a nation yet, or if he just wasn't dy-…
A silence fell over them, and Sealand could swear his heart skipped a beat when England eventually took a wobbly step towards the light, the pain and longing never leaving his face.
"NO!"
Sealand instinctively grabbed England's wrist and tugged him back harshly, and with a quick spin England was forced to face him.
"You can't come back from there!" Sealand pleaded with England, instinctively just knowing this was the truth.
"Please don't go there. Let's just go home."
For a terrifying long moment England didn't reply - only looked back towards the light before slowly turning back to Sealand again with an unreadable expression on his face.
"Let's go home," Sealand pleaded again and tugged at England's arm.
"Please? Scotland, Wales... Everyone. Everyone is waiting for us. Let's go home. I want to go home."
Painfully slowly, England finally nodded.
"O-Okay," England breathed, sounding like he was about to cry. "Home. We're going home."
"Yes," Sealand sighed with relief. "Home. Mum will wait for you."
Sealand didn't miss the longing eyes England cast over his shoulder when Sealand began to lead him in the opposite direction, but he was still coming.
Home.

(A.N:) This fic/ficlet just kind of happened, but...
Sometimes you just need to be reminded of what you still have, rather than what you have lost.
Sometimes you just need a guiding hand to lead you back.
... I hope you enjoyed it. //Jezzica.
