MoveForward And Take Flight Part 6

"So if a pro hero causes physical harm to someone he's saving, whether it be intentional or by accident, he takes full responsibility and must pay for their hospital bill?" Izuku was reciting his text book aloud. "Additionally, the hero is responsible for any damage he let the villain cause...? Wait what!?" Izuku's mind raced at some of the previous incidents he faced. "Since when was this a thing?"

"Mr. Aizawa told us it's the newest version. Uraraka tiredly explained. "Apparently after All Might's retirement someone thought it would be a good idea to enforce stricter regulations for heroes. As a plan to reduce panic amongst the citizens? Causes more panic and frustration if you ask me." She said visibly frustrated. "If the heroes are worried they won't fight to the fullest, causing more collateral by the villains. Its bullshit!"

"Y-yeah, it is,isn't it." Izuku sweat dropped "Is this the first time I've heard her swear? Damn, this must really be getting to her." "I'm sorry."

"Deku?"

"I'm sorry this is happening. I mean..." He twiddled with his fingers "I know, you want to be a hero so you can fix your financial situation and... And now it feels like you might lose money if you do something bad."

"It's not your fault, Deku!" She placed her hand on her shoulder, pinky in the air "It's the government. And It's infuriating! Like they expect us to be heroes of money as well!!!" She shouted/pouted

"Heroes of money." Deku giggled "That's a good one." Then an idea came to mind and he started fanboying "What if there really was a hero of money! What would his quirk be? Maybe some kind of gold materializing quirk. Or being able to change things to gold, like King Midas."

"I'm pretty sure that would crash our economy." Ochako giggled while breaking his fantasy

"But it's a nice thought, Deku."

"I guess. Th-thanks, Uraraka." He said turning back to his textbook, but his mind was somewhere else. "Well since a money hero isn't a thing, there's not much we can do about it. Maybe a law hero would be better."

Uraraka tried to contain her laughter. "A Law Hero?! That's pure gold! He would make fair laws for everyone, and help create a stable Utopia where everyone is treated fairly and equally no matter their status and wealth!"

"He'd solve every crime and come to a fair compromise in the court room every time. Lawstar, the Lawyer Hero!" Deku declared exaggeratedly

"Definitely the hero we need right now!" Ochako noted jokingly holding her textbook "Jokes aside I have a bad feeling about this."

"How so?"

"Well, they're just bombarding us with all this extra training and studying. I talked to Neijire the other day and she told me that, during the time she was first year, everything was a lot more, calm. Their exam was nothing compared to ours. I can't lie, I'm a bit shaken up."

"Yeah me too. He-he" "Shaken upWell, if only you knew." Deku thought to himself before spacing out

Ochako didn't respond, she "Now that I think about it, so much is changing. The world used to be so stable and boring back then. I'm starting to feel worried" She bit her pencil out of frustration "Hey, Deku." There was no response "Deku?" Izuku kept staring at his textbook, while his mind raced on other matters.

"Should I tell her? Maybe after what we've been through it wouldn't be so weird. But still, it was weird and... She..." Something was stopping him from feeling overly anxious at that moment, something "Why can't I...? It feels like, I've been... No... No! It's not right. I was taking advantage of her in a vulnerable state! Wait was I! No it's not. I didn't consciously do it, but, why am I so confused right now. I tried focusing on studying for the past..." He looked at the clock "5pm already!???"

"Time flies hugh?" Ochako sweat dropped. "What were you spacing out about anyway?"

"Oh, that? It was nothing really? Just trying to make sense of some of these laws is all." He lied to hide his real confusion.

"I get it. It's hard to wrap my head around this new stuff. It's all twists and turns and legal loopholes. If only it were simpler, you know?" She said with a sad look

"Simpler." "Believe me. Sometimes I really wish it were simpler. But it isn't. I feel like things are only going to get that much more complicated." He let out a heavy sigh

"Shall we call it a day and continue this tomorrow? I also have a lot of things on my mind right now." Izuku looked at her and nodded with a tired smile.

"Yeah, maybe it's a good idea. Although I gotta say I'm amazed at what we did today!"

"Y-you are?" Ochako asked nervously, remembering the little bed incident.

"Yeah, I mean we went through 5 different subjects and got to understand almost everything. Maybe we could..." His next words couldn't escape his mouth

"Do it again? I'd love to!" She smiled to hide her nervousness! It was less than yesterday, but still clawing on the back of her mind.

"Really? That'd be..." His words were interrupted by a loud grumbling. "Hehe. I guess my stomach doesn't allow me to be excited right now. Hehe." They heard grumbling again, but this time from Ochako's belly, which made both laugh out loud.

"Do you..." She twiddled her fingers trying to overcome her nerves. "Want to... C-c-cook something together? I mean..." Her stomach grumbled as well.

"I hear you, loud and clear!" Izuku jokingly said causing both of them to laugh at the situation. "Let's see... He checked his mini-fridge to see the things he bought. I think we can make up something from this. Some curry maybe?"

"Sounds, yummy, let's do it!"

"You all understand your assignments?" Mina asked to ensure.

"Yes." Shoto was the first to respond. "Midoriya has been my first real friend here at UA so I'll gladly do my part for him."

"Dude, you're job is the easiest one! You literally have to BE YOU!" Denki said half-complaining, half comforting. "Meanwhile I'm on the offense team, and I seriously have no clue where to even start."

"I mean, it shouldn't be that hard." Jirou said laying down on the couch. She was also in the so called offence team along with Mina and Denki "We got Ashido as our group leader, so it's mostly just following orders. It could be fun you know?"

"When, did you become so confident all of a sudden?" Denki asked her raising an eyebrow.

"I dunno. I guess after the Culture Festival I..." She blushed thinking back to her previous state of mind "I became more chill and open to new experiences you know. It's hard to explain why it's just..." Jirou looked at the ceiling. "After performing on stage, and feeling the rush of adrenaline as we all jammed, people cheering, Aoyama hanging from the ceiling like a disco ball. I just, feel like I can take on the world!" Denki was smiling at her the entire time she was talking.

"That's awesome, Private Jirou. I'm so happy for you. And if I'm honest, that culture festival was the most fun I've ever had." Mina stated "And I'm glad you're on board with this next endeavor. To be honest, I myself am kinda nervous about it."

"Why'd you have to say Endeavor!?" Momo snapped at her "Leave poor Shoto alone!"

"Momo, I'm fine, really. There's no need to be angry at them."

"I know it's just" She turned to him and looked at him with the puppy dog eyes "Your past and... I know it must be weighing on you and... I'm sorry, I overreacted a bit."

"It's fine. It's actually flattering that you care about me enough to snap like that." He placed his hand on her shoulder. "It's very kind of you."

"Shoto..." They both started staring in each other's eyes for like a minute

"Get a room you two." Denki quietly teased them.

"You guys..." Mina was flattered, proud even at seeing them get along so well. "But still, I'm a bit nervous."

"You? Nervous? The Great Mother Ashido, the Queen of Love, the Soldier of the Heart is nervous???" Kyoka mocked her.

"I'm flattered, but really." Mina looked down to the floor "I'm super excited about it, but I'm also scared. This is the first time I've felt like I'm doing something for the common good and... I'm just afraid of it going wrong or backfiring somehow."

"Wow, for reals?" Denki never saw Mina this scared before. He looked at Jirou. They both shared a look of equal surprise. "Ashido if you don't mind me asking. Why are you doing this? At first, I just thought you were doing this, to satisfy your own ego or something."

"Well, can't say you're wrong with that, but there is another reason." Mina looked at them with eyes pleading for understanding "It's... Hard to explain... I guess I just... Want to live in a world were people are more free spirited... Like I am. It sounds selfish guys, but think about it. If everyone truly expressed what's in their heart without any doubts or fear, then..." She placed her hands to her heart" Then I believe this world can become a better place. For all of us. Even if we get rejected or our ideas are not always accepted, we'd all have that fundamental base to fall back on. It would still hurt, but we wouldn't suffer. Do you get what I mean?"

"I don't know what you just said..." Denki's eyes filled up with tears and he was crying like Izuku on a regular Tuesday. "But it was so goddamn beautiful! I'll help you Ashido , in anyway I can!"

"I agree." Todoroki exclaimed happily "I think it's these moments of absolute authenticity that can truly make someone feel alive and real. You have my support Ashido." Shoto bowed

"I'm in it with Shoto!" Momo said grabbing his hand "Thinking back I realized how much I've missed. How little I know about the person I really am. I think... I think this will be very fruitful endeavour!"

"You said "endeavor"!" Shoto noted smiling at her

"I did, I'm so sorry Shoto, I didn't mean to, I just got caught up in the moment and..."

"It's fine, really! It's great that you're worried how I might react. It just shows that you care. But please, don't censor your words for me. I have to learn to live with my past, and I don't want anyone else to suffer for it."

"I understand. And thank you, Shoto

"You guys..." Mina had a bright smile that could put the sun to shame "Thank you so much. I love you guys so much. I feel like I'm gonna cry."

"Cry your heart out Ashido!" Denki screamed, still leaking like a busted sprinkler. "Let the pain of rejection just fly away!" Denki thought to all the girls that rejected him in Middle School and UA.

Jirou was sitting silently on the couch. She didn't want to break up their wholesome group hug, but she couldn't help with this endeavor either. As hard as it was for her, she had to but in. "I'm sorry everyone." All eyes were on her as she stood up from the couch "I can't be a part of this."

"What are you saying Jirou?" Denki exclaimed in disbelief "Can you really be that cold-hearted?"

"That's not what I'm saying!" She took a deep breath to calm herself "Look I' m sorry okay. But there's just some things that... Are best left hidden away!" No one said a word. All ears were om her "It may sound cruel, but it's just the reality of things. Don't get me wrong, It's a nice dream. A beautiful goal if I may add, but. There will still be darkness. Not everyone's heart is pure or inherently good. There are just some people, who you really don't want to see showing their true colours."

"Jirou..." Denki tried to argue, but he couldn't come up with anything as the punk girl prepared to leave.

"I'm not going to try and stop you. Make the whole world fall in love if you want to. It would be enjoyable to watch. But I just..." As she was about to leave she turned to face them one last time. "I'd rather not be a part of the cleanup crew. Dig?" She left leaving an uneasy atmosphere in the lounge. Mina was more than ever lost inside her own head. Doubts were rushing through her head, but there was something underneath that refused to give up.

"I get what she's saying."

"Ashido." Denki and the others turned their attention to her

"But it doesn't matter. There's bound to be some rotten apples, but." She clenched her fists "That doesn't automatically mean that the other ones will be? For them it could be a safe haven, a paradise. Wouldn't that make at least a handful of people happy!? I mean come on! it worked with you two didn't it!?" Her innocent looking smile was enough to make Todoroki's right side heat up.

"I think..." Todoroki struggled to utter the words. "I still believe it would be a good idea, although... If I'm completely honest, I'm afraid of it to a certain degree."

"Shoto!" Momo nagged him to shut up with her eyes.

"Come on guys really?" Denki charged up from his seat "Are you all just gonna be bummed out like this because of Jirou's little speech?" Everyone was silent. "You know what, screw this. I'm gonna go talk to her." He stood up and ran towards the stairs.

"I think I'm going up as well." Momo announced. "I still have quite a lot of studying to go through. Mina, will you be joining me later?"

"Maybe, I don't know. Just go if you want to." Mina said as if someone had crushed her spirits.

"I know it must be confusing, but. I just wanted you to know..." Momo squeezed Shoto's hand. "I'm really grateful for what you did for me today! I don't think I've ever felt this alive before, and it's not just because of Shoto, but. In general. So, thank you, Mina!" She made a very deep bow almost like she was about to hit her head on the floor.

"Same, goes for me." Shoto followed the train of thought and bowed "If you ever need me, you know where I'll be, Ashido."

"Thanks you guys. Just..." Tears were starting to well in Mina's eyes "Just please, stay true to yourselves and be happy alright."

"We will! That reminds me." Yaoyurozu turned towards her new boyfriend "Shoto, would you do me the honor of studying with me? I would greatly appreciate it."

"Of course. It would be my pleasure."

"Thank you. Which subject should we start with? I was thinking of..." They started walking away, their conversation trailing off to studies as they slowly faded from view and hearing, leaving Mina all alone with her thoughts and feelings. "Why? Why is it so difficult?"

"Hey, guys! Sorry I'm late, there was a line at the sushi place, but I decided to get manly bunch for us to share" Eijiro walked in the lounge carrying a bag filled with packs of sushi. "Huh? Where is everyone? Ashido what happened. Wait are... Are you crying?"

"It's nothing. Just leave it be. I don't want to talk about it!" She stood up and ran towards the elevators crying.

"Ashido!!" He reached out to stop her but to no avail. "What the hell? You leave to get a snack and you miss the party." He grunted as he looked towards the bag of Sushi for six. "Well, I think the best thing to do right now is get to the bottom of this. And figure out what am I gonna do with all this sushi. Although should I really intervene? It sounds like she might need some time alone." He rubbed his head, but all that came out was steam. He suddenly felt the urge to slap himself and so he did "Come on Eijiro! Your childhood friend is crying right in front of you and you're thinking about what to do? Of course you're gonna go comfort her! What kind of a man are you!?" "Hey, Ashido wait up!"

The class 1-A lounge fell into silence.

"No, no no. It's not like that. It's more of a childhood driven fantasy really." Izuku explained

"Really though? Because it does sound like you secretly wanted All Might to marry your mom." Uraraka teased him

"That's not true!" Deku went red in the face yet again at the mere thought if it "It's true that, since my dad wasn't around all that much... At all. I did lack a stable father figure in my life, but that's really not why I obsessed that much about it."

"It sure sounds like it. Come on Deku, I'm not saying it's something you should be ashamed of. It's just..." She weakly smiled "A need driven desire. We all got one of those"

"That's deep..." Izuku really pondered on that last one "Still, let's change the subject. I'm starving, lets get cooking!

"Awesome!"

PLUS ULTRA COOKING MONTAGE ENGAGE!!!

Izuku started cutting up carrots, he focused 5% of One for All in his eyes and arms so he could get the carrot slices in just the right shape. The speed and precision of his cutting was beyond human. Once he was finished, the wooden cutting board broke into equal sized planks. Ochako giggled and playfully hit him on the head with one of them, which embarrassed the young hero.

Ochako had entered ultra instinct mode as she applied her quirk to the strainer with the rice. It was so intense that every grain of rice was now in Zero Gravity. She did loads of sideways and up-down motions with the strainer and the rice mid air, to get all the water out of the rice. The air was filled with miniature floating water droplets as well as stray rice gains. When she was done, she placed the rice in the pot at released her quirk causing a short rain in the kitchen. Izuku was baffled

Ochako had already peeled the potatoes and they were floating in Zero Gravity all around Deku. The green haired boy was holding a Kitchen knife with both hands and seemed to be channelling his quirk into it with his eyes closed. When he opened them he started swinging seemingly madly at the floating potatoes. Ochako was keeping a same distance from the knife wielding maniac, but was watching him in admiration. All the potatoes ended up perfectly cut and when he was done she came over to scoop them up in a bowl. Who needs a cutting board.

The meat was a tad bit more difficult without one thought. So they teamed up for it. Ochako held it in the air with her both hand and quirk. Izuku was focusing with the knife in hand again channelling his quirk into it, sharpening the blade. They looked into each other's eyes. Seriousness! This was no joke anymore. This next step took an incredible amount of trust and concentration. One wrong move and it was all over. The meal would be completely ruined, by the bitter remorse of accidental murder, or worse. The meat chunks wouldn't be equally cut, leaving a weird taste in their mouths. He focused and finally. "New Hampshire Slice!" Deku yelled as he swung the knife leaving two equally large chunks of meat. Ochako let one floating and grabbed the other one in the same way. "Oklahoma Dice!" With his quirk activated he somehow managed to slice the meat into four equal parts. It wasn't one swing. He was just going so fast that he cut it up three times before the molecules in the meat figured out their bonds are severed. They repeated this process until it was all perfectly sliced and diced.

Izuku was carefully, but mightily stirring the rice as if his life depended on it being the best rice in the entirety of Japan. No grain unboiled, no sticking together! Every grain had to be a god given delicacy that should please the senses and overwhelm them with Umami!

Ochako was meanwhile stirring the pot of curry. She carefully poured just enough spices to not overdo ot, while at the same time stirring carefully so it doesn't get burned. She eyeballed the pot constantly seemingly imbueding it with her energy and soul. She let her quirk take over and while stirring it, brought it to a small floating ball in the air. Carefully cuddling it with the pan, she finally unleashed her quirk and let it sink in the pan. It was finally done

PLUS ULTRA COOKING MONTAGE COMPLETE!!!

"Thank you for the food!" They said in unison as they sat on the couch preparing to dig in the dish they just made.

"Oh, wow." Ochako felt her taste buds ignite "This tastes amazing, Deku! My taste buds are in paradise!" Crying was all she heard in response "Deku?" Midoriya was sobbing over his plate "What's wrong? Is it too spicy? Too hot? Maybe try waiting for it to cool down."

"It's perfect." He finally uttered "Everything is perfect. The sauce, the rice, the day, the conversation..." He continued crying adding a touch of tears to his curry "I'm sorry I'm just a bit overwhelmed by everything. I keep thinking about, where I was and where I am now... I'm just really grateful for everything." The honesty spike, as he started to call it ignited again, but he didn't care. If anything now he wanted it more than ever.

"Deku..." She gave him a warm smile "I'm glad you enjoyed it, but..."

"What are you doing Ochako, you can't bring that up!" She couldn't utter the last words as she entered a battle with her own inner resolve "Why are you even considering it? It's not what you want. It's not what he would want. It's... No... I can't... Not after today of all days... At least... At least try to get some answers first."

"Izuku..." Midoriya was really caught off guard with her calling him by his first name. Was he in trouble? Was this good? Was it just a result of their ever-growing friendship? He had more questions than he cared to admit. "I wanted to talk to you about... Earlier..."

"Earlier?" He realized what she was referring to. "Oh, that."

"The break. What happened when we took a break. I just want to get some clarity is all. I tried denying it, but. I can't stop thinking about it."

"Oh crap. Oh crap. Oh crap. Oh CRAP!!! This is it. I'm a dead man now. She's gonna kill me!" Izuku's mind raced

"Uhmm... Okay, so what exactly do you mean?"

"For starters, and I know I'm repeating myself, but I just don't want you to think that you were responsible for making me cry. That was because of something else. Something else entirely. It was more of a... Well... You kinda helped me realize something. I was guilty that I've changed my mind about so many things and... My feelings just went sideways. I was angry at myself which turned into me being angry at my dad for... Being in that situation, where I have to be the one to bring in all the money and... (sigh)." Was it just Deku's imagination or was she... Mutterstorming? He was flabbergasted. "Some part of me just wants to do what I want to do and ignore my parents needs, but then I realize it's not very hero like of me and it just makes me feel this inner conflict with myself that makes me want to rip out my hair!"

"Uuuuhhh"

"I'm sorry Deku, I don't know where that came from. I swear, I'm not like that usually, it's just..."

"Like some inner part of you struggling to get out, but you repress it inside of you out of fear? Or because you don't know who to trust?"

"Sort of... I guess. I don't know. "She answered with a tired look. "I feel like I really want to be more honest with you Deku. You deserve it after everything you've done for me, but... I don't know, I guess I'm just scared of the outcome."

"Uraraka." Izuku took a deep breath. This was it. Honesty! She opened his eyes and he couldn't keep it in anymore. He was going to tell her. Everything. "There's been something weighing on me too. I wanted to tell you, but I just couldn't find the courage or the resolve. I've been keeping a big secret ever since I came into UA. Only w handful of people know this. My mom even isn't one if them." He took a deep breath." Uraraka, my quirk, it-"

"HEY DEKU!!!" He was interrupted by the all to familiar sound of his childhood friend/bully/enemy/rival Bakugo. "GET OFF YOUR ASS AND COME OUTSIDE!!!"

"Bakugo! We're having a private discussion, now's not the ti..."

"Can it Pink Cheeks! I wasn't talking to you! Now get out here you damn nerd!!! All Might wants to speak with you!" There was a slight hint of jealousy in that last remark, but Izuku chose to ignore it

"What All Might? What does he want? I haven't said anything yet, promise."

"Said anything? What's going on?" Ochako was puzzled.

"I don't know! It sounded pretty important, so If I were you I'd get my ass out here, now."

"Right..." He turned towards Ochako "Uraraka, I'm sorry for cutting it short like this. I promise we'll continue this later."

"It's no problem. Hero duties come first am I right?"

"Right... Well thanks again... For everything." Next thing he knew he ran out the door where Bakugo was standing, leaving her alone to contemplate.

"There he goes again..." A sad smile crept up on her face "What was he gonna say? And is All Might involved?" She took another bite of her curry, to distract herself "Soo good!" But the distraction was short lived. Then she took another. And another. "I have s bad feeling about this."

All Might stood next to a grave. Silently mourning

"Rebecca Lane - Pro Hero"

"Killed in Action"

"2368 - 2391"

"Shine yor light upon the world."

"Rebecca..." Toshinori muttered under his breath "I'm sorry. I'm still not strong enough. Please, if you can hear me. Tell me what I should do? I need a sign..." As if by command the wind started blowing. Leaves were rustling ever so calmly. Blades of grass dancing in the wind. It was hauntingly beautiful. Toshinori stood there silently contemplating.

"ALL MIGHT!!!" Toshinori turned around to see his explosive student calling him, while bringing along All Might's successor with him "I brought Deku, like you asked. Can I go now? I have training to do?"

"Young Bakugo. Yes, I don't mean to interfere with your training. You can go." He said ever so silently

"Thanks..." He readied his explosions and flew off into the air vanishing from sight.

"Uhm... You wanted to see me All Might?"

"Yes, I did..." All Might turned around towards the grave as if inviting him to join him. Deku walked over to his side. As soon as he noticed the grave something clicked in his head

"I remember reading about this."

"You have, haven't you?" He said with a note of irony.

"It was the end of the Silver Age. You were still in the States, back then. You were ready to settle in if I recall correctly. When you met Rebecca Lane you..."

"I wanted to marry her..." Toshinori uttered in a sad tone. "She was... My symbol of peace. My light. We were very close..."

"Then the famous Ground Zero incident happened. A villain with an incredibly powerful quirk kidnapped her and murdered her in cold blood."

"As expected you only know the cover story..." All Might closed his eyes "The story that I wanted the world to know."

"What do you mean?" Izuku felt a cold dread down his spine.

"The man. Who murdered Rebecca Lane, and laid waste to a city of Millions of people in a single day, was non other than All for One himself."

"All for One? But how?"

"It's quite simple really. When I was younger, he was still at large. But he couldn't defeat me. One for All had gotten so strong he couldn't defeat it, so he waited."

"Waited...?"

"He decided to break me from the inside, by taking Rebecca away from me... For good..."

"For...Good..." A chilling thought went through Izuku's head.

"And it worked. At lease for a few months. Maybe it was closer to a year. I had completely lost hope after that incident."

"But then you picked yourself up again and that new resolve kick-started the Golden Age!"

"It did... But, to this day what happened weighs on me heavily. I wished I was stronger. I decided to use that resolve and become even stronger than I once was. To finally strike down that devil, All for One, abd everything he stood for."

"All Might...I...I'm sorry."

"Young Midoriya." He turned to him. His eyes sad and yet hopeful. "I don't want you to suffer the same fate I did, but at the same time I know that's inevitable."

"Woah what do you mean? I don't know where this is coming from."

"Tell me... What is Young Uraraka to you?"

"Uraraka?" He blushed st the mention of her name "Well she... She... She's a friend... A very good friend to me... The best friend I've ever met to be honest , but... All Might I don't know what this has to do with..."

"Do you have feelings for her?"

"Huuuh? W-w-what?"

"I won't tell anyone if that's your concern. I'm only asking you because I've been down that path before. Look around you." The graveyard was hauntingly silent and yet somewhat beautiful. A gentle breeze brushing through the grass and leaves, with no one to notice "Under everyone of these gravestones. Was a person like you and me. They each had a beating heart, family, friends, loved ones, people who cared about them, people who hated them, favorite foods, hobbies... dreams." All Might chuckled as he sat on top of Rebecca's gravestone "So I'm gonna ask you again. Do you have any feelings towards Ochako Uraraka? Be honest, I won't judge or make fun of it."

"Well... I... I..." Midoriya went silent "I don't know... I like her and I do feel like we're close, but. I'm just not sure what it is. I mean we did kind of... Sleep together on accident. It was a real spur of the moment kind of thing! I don't know if it meant anything. Although, I do... Want her to be happy and I feel good when I'm with her. She, helped me pick out my hero name and... I just, hate seeing her cry, and hate it when she worries about me. I... I think I am attracted to her as well I mean... I don't mean to be pervy in any way All Might. But, she just looks gorgeous in her hero suit and her "rack" is pretty nice... But I wouldn't downright say it in front of her. She's a great person and I would do anything to help her be happy. Oh my god, I think I'm in love with her."

"I personally think it's more of a crush, but hey. What do I know?" Ge stood up from the gravestone and placed his hand on Izuku's head. "And you shouldn't worry about having perverted thoughts."

"I... I shouldn't?"

"Come on kid. You're at that age where you're starting to develop feelings of attraction, it's completely normal. Even I've been there. But... I wanted to specifically ask you about any other feelings you might have. From the heart. And I guess you do."

"I wouldn't put it like that. I mean there is something, but... I'm just not entirely sure about it. I've never felt this way before."

"These things take time Young Midoriya... I didn't have serious feelings for Rebecca up until like the summer of 88. And we'd already known each other for about a year. Didn't mean I didn't crush on her back then. And oh boy we were much wilder in those days than you kids are today. Hehe. We did all kinds of crazy things!"

"All Might!!!"

"I'm sorry about that. Anyway, my point is. After I got to know her better. Those feelings gradually evolved and eventually. It just sort of happened. I'm not saying that this will happen to you, I'm just..."

"You're worried that I might fall in love with her and then lose her like you did Rebecca?" Deku answered with a look of cold dread and worry.

"More or less. Listen, I don't want to stop you if that's what's on your heart, but after yesterday's call I just couldn't shake the feeling it was more than just sharing the secret with a friend, you know." He turned towards the gravestone. "I guess my intuition was spot on. Huh, Rebecca."

"I... I understand... Thanks All Might."

"So, you gonna tell her?" All Might said still staring at the grave.

"I was, about too. Then Kacchan called me over and now... Now I'm not so sure anymore."

"I see. Well, it's your choice really. You're the current wielder of One for All. You have to decide who your allies are. Not me."

"I will. Thanks All Might, but I gotta..."

"Go. That's all I really had to say." Toshi said in a Melancholic tone.

"Okay. Thanks again, for everything." Deku ran off towards the dorms again. All Might witnessed his successor vanish into the distance, before turning his attention towards the grave again.

"Rebecca... Did I make the right choice? Should I have stopped him? I couldn't find it in me to stop him. Maybe I'm still not strong enough..."

"That looked pretty strong to me?" A woman's voice was heard and Toshi turned around to see Midnight walking up to him

"Midnight? What are you doing here?"

"Visiting an old friend. You're not the only with friends beyond the grave, Toshi." She looked at the grave "Rebecca Lane? An old girlfriend I recon?"

"Fiancé. We were going to get... Right before she..."

"I'm sorry to hear that Toshinori. If it helps I have at least five ex-boyfriends who cheated on me with the Grim Reaper. Maybe I can help."

"That's a horrible way to put it!"

"Maybe..." She sat down on the grass with her legs crossed. "But it does help me cope. Sometimes that's the best way to put it, really." She winked at him, which left him utterly confused

"I... I see." He sat down with his legs crossed next to her "Well if you really want to hear it all started in on David Shield's New Years party of 2382... "

A/N: A friend of mine recommended me Food Wars recently. I gotta admit I'm loving it, and I'm really digging the main character.

Also, we know MHA happens in the future, since the whole Quirks Anarchy and everything. I think 400 years in the future is good enough. Maybe a tad too much, but I haven't heard of a Canon time frame so I winged it.

I hope you enjoyed it. Promise next chapter shouldn't take 700 years. It's an All Might backstory. Soo... I hope it turns out good.

I can be quite the troll, I know. See yah next time!
