Song for this chapter - Dræm Girl ~ No Vacation

End of Punishment

~Raph's POV~

"Raph, can you stop shaking your leg?" Leo asked.

I pulled my eyes from the tv, "What?"

"Your leg... Are you nervous?" He asked.

Yes. "No, why would I be nervous?" Because Lilly is finally coming over since the last time.

"Okay… Maybe not nervous, how about excited? Are you excited?"

I shrugged, "Maybe…" It's been a week since I saw Lillian for about…what? 30 minutes? So yeah, I was a little excited that I was going to see her again and this time everyone knew about us, this time I was able to flaunt our relationship as much as I want, or as much as she'd let me. Maybe I was nervous about Leo..

After Leo and I talked, he told me he's okay with Lillian and even asked me permission to talk to her about this entire situation. I told him I'd be fine with it but it wasn't up to me. Lilly wasn't really happy with him, so if she wanted to she could. I still didn't completely believe that he didn't have feelings for Lillian, so I guess I was a little nervous about what they were going to talk about.

Last time I saw Lillian, it felt like it was only for 5 minutes. I was so pissed and I just needed to freaking breathe and seeing her was enough for me to calm down. So now, I get to see her for however long I want. So yeah, I'm excited! Sue me.

Mikey turned away from the TV to face me, "Raph," He began. "How did you get Lillian?"

I blinked at his question, "What is that supposed to mean?"

Mikey laughed, "Let's be honest, you are not the best looking one out of all of us."

I scoffed, "And you are?"

"Duh!"

"No, you're not!" Both Leo and I said.

I smiled at Leo, "Neither are you."

Leo rolled his eyes, "Just 'cause you have a girlfriend doesn't mean you are the most attractive one."

"How does that not mean I'm-"

"Because that's her opinion, not a fact."

"Bull crap, it's not an opinion!"

"Yes, it is!"

"If its an opinion how come all of you are single?"

"Just because we're single doesn't mean we're unattractive."

I shrugged, "Could be a...contributing factor."

"You guys are really arguing about who's more attractive than the other?" Donnie asked, coming out of the lab. He pulled his goggles off of his face and smirked, "I can't blame all of you for lacking the brain capacity to realize that I am the most attractive out of all of you."

"Not even!" I yelled.

"Donnie, get out." Leo said pointing at the exit.

"Where is Donnie going?" April said, entering the lair.

Behind her walked Lilly, who had a big smile on her face as soon as she saw me. She had her hair up in a tight pony tail, small curls sitting on her forehead. Her make up was unusually fancy, from dark brown eyeshadow to a bright red lipstick on, almost like she were going out somewhere but she was in her regular school clothes.

I stood up to go to her but Mikey zipped passed me towards her. Before I could blink he picked her up and spun her around. I sighed...I need to be faster on my feet.

"Lilly! It's been like a month!" He pulled away from her. "Why are you so pretty?"

She chuckled, "Its nice to see you too. I had a photo shoot in dance plus I'm going out tonight so I decided to keep it on." She explained.

I walked up to her, waiting there like an idiot for Mikey to get away from her. "Where are you going?" I asked.

Lilly finally pulled away from Mikey and threw herself around me, "Hi my baby…" She whispered.

I'm not embarrassed doing this in front of my brothers because if anything, Lilly would kick their ass before me, but I was glad my back was turned towards them so I wouldn't have to see their faces.

It was nice to hold her in my arms though. She smelt so nice… I cleared my throat and pulled away from her before I got carried away. "S-So…where are you going?"

"It's a long story but after all that commotion with John, my mother finally accepted this guy's offer to be his girlfriend so…"

"She has a new boyfriend?"

She nodded, "She has a new boyfriend." She shrugged. "But I like him."

I walked over to the couch with my arm around her shoulders. I could sense all eyes on me. I knew all except April and maybe Donnie were staring at me and her. I didn't really care…

Lilly sat next to me, "Anyways, they're having a little bit of problems and Barry, his name is Barry, asked me to go out with him tonight so that we can get to know each other. But I just think he's trying use me to figure out why my mom is very…closed off."

I groaned, "He's taking you out?"

"I know I know…" She shrugged. "But, I'm not scared." She smiled at me and my heart vibrated in my chest. "You guys are here."

"Are you guys going to be like…all mushy in front of us now?" Mikey asked with an almost sad expression on his face.

Lilly chuckled, "Depends on how we're feeling… But," She pointed at everyone. "If anyone is going to make fun of Raph for being affectionate, its gonna be me. Okay?" She glared at Donnie, Mikey but she especially glared daggers at Leo.

Everyone nodded.

I just smirked at her. Man, did I love her…

She looked over at Donnie, "Don, could you do me a favor?"

Donnie nodded, "What's up?"

"His name is Barry Anderson the commissioner or something. Can you get as much information on him before I leave?"

"Commissioner Anderson? Of course I can. When are you leaving?" He asked.

Lilly shrugged, "I don't know, the dinner is at 8 and my Aunt has some things for me to try on so I guess…maybe in like two or three hours." I wanted her here all day but…it's better than 30 minutes I guess. "Think you can do it in that amount of time?"

Donnie scoffed, "Lilly, I can do it in under an hour."

Lilly smiled, "Great!" She gave my thigh a soft slap. "I'm thirsty, have anything?"

I shrugged, "Want me to get you something?"

She shook her head, "I can do it." I watched her get up and leave. Man, did I love watching her leave. If she could ever read my mind she'd be calling me a 'pig' and woould be blushing like crazy.

Leo gave my foot a kick, pulling me away from her direction. "Can I go talk to her now?"

I frowned, annoyed. "I already told you not to ask me, its not my decision."

"What are you going to talk about?" April asked as she set her belongings down and sat on the couch.

Leo sighed, "Its kind of a private thing." Before April could say anything else, he quickly darted towards the kitchen.

I rolled my eyes, "Private…" I don't know if Lilly will listen to anything Leo says after everything that has happened, she almost didn't talk to April after that little fiasco, but if she is going to hear him out, I'll pray for him. "Leo wants to squash the beef, if there is any…"

April shook her head and laughed. "Poor guy… I don't think Lilly will even look at him."

"I know she doesn't like us fighting but if he does anything to piss her off…" I clenched my fists when I felt a sudden rush of anger. "I don't know what I'll do."

"You do something and Lilly is done with you." April said with a chuckle.

I didn't now what to say. I usually don't when people are right. I know it hasn't even been a year since we first started our relationship but…she makes me happy and I don't want anything to spoil that. That is the only thing that's keeping me from following both of them into the kitchen. I just have to trust my brother…

~Lilly's POV~

I knew he was right behind me, but I acted as if I didn't feel his presence. I just grabbed the soda and turned around and began to walk out of the kitchen, completely ignoring him when he called out my name.

He grabbed my arm, "Lillian please," He begged. "I know you aren't as stubborn and hardheaded as you make yourself out to be. Just listen for a sec…please."

"Déjame," I ordered.

He let go of my arm and seemed to relax. "Okay…" He gave me a small smile. "I just want to start by apologizing for the way I acted when it came out that you two were together. But you have to understand that you could get hurt because of us. I hope the day will never come but there may be a time where we can't save you. I know its hard to understand at first-"

"I understood when I agreed to be your friend, why wouldn't I understand now? Raph is so annoying because he never misses a chance to remind me that I shouldn't be with him. And for you to pour salt into the wound and confirm the fact that I shouldn't be with him is fucked up." I snapped. I'm literally sick of this argument. I don't ever want to hear it ever again.

"I know but-"

"Also, I would appreciate it if you and Raph would stop talking about a decision I made without me being there to defend myself. If I'm going to be the topic of any conversation then I am also going to be the person defending myself. I don't need Raphael to do that for me."

Leo sighed, I could tell my attitude was testing his patients. Raph would have already snapped on me. "We only do it because we care and we're worried about your safety that's all."

"Well, do it in your mind and don't bother me with tus pendejadas. I made my decision and if I die by it, then I die by it. But I trust Raph like I trust the rest of you guys. I am never afraid." I crossed my arms over my chest.

Leo nodded, smiling a little bit. "Okay… One more thing, don't hurt him."

I smiled back, "Of course not."

"Are we okay?"

I nodded, "Unless you want to give me attitude again." If I could get Raph to tone down his attitude, I can do that with anyone. Leo better watch out.

He rubbed the back of his neck nervously, "Heh… Sorry about that."

"No problem." I suddenly straightened, feeling a little nervous to bring up this subject with him but finding it really necessary. "And just so you know…if at any point in time, I get the choice in picking to be with someone else or him…it will be him."

Leonardo was a smart guy, so I know he picked up on what I was eluding to. "I don't have feelings for you. But that does make me trust you with his heart a little more."

"I told Raph you didn't, but he insisted."

"He's just paranoid. Or protective." He said.

"No, he's both." I wish I could prove it to him that it's him I want… Well, I have a couple ideas on how to do that but that's for later.

"Yeah,"

I gave Leo a pat on the arm, "We're good. Just stop being a dummy, okay?" He nodded.

I walked back to Raphael, my heart skipping a beat when I saw his smile. I was so excited to see him. I hated seeing him upset and in a panic like last time so all day today I was just in the best mood. Non stop smiles... And now I get to be out in the open to his family. No one cares and I'm happy.

Now comes my family...one day. Maybe. I don't know. I'm still thinking.

I sat down real close next to Raph and open my soda. Immediately he goes to grab it. "Uh-Uh...what's wrong with you?"

"What? I just want a sip."

"A sip for you is a gulp for me. No. Go get your own." I laughed.

He rolled his eyes and scoffed, "Don't be stingy. Give me a sip."

"Stop it! I don't-"

"If you won't give me a sip, I won't do that thing you like." He said, his voice very low but just above the whisper.

I sipped my soda and narrowed my eyes in confusion, "What thing?" For a moment he just stared at me, then it suddenly clicked. I frowned and handed him the soda. "Ass..."

~Few hours later~

"I sent you everything that I could find about the Commissioner. Quick question, where we you born again?" Donnie asked just as I was getting ready to walking out of the lair with Raph next to me.

"San Diego. Why?"

"Southern California?"

I nodded "Was he born there?"

"He was born near there in…Orange County? I think…"

I whistled, "What a lucky guy. Thank you for the info Donnie. I just want to make sure his record is clean."

"He's liked by the city. Pretty tough on crime, can be real stern at times… He's actually pretty young for a commissioner. Do you know who his father is?" Donnie asked.

"My mom said he was some big guy on Wall Street." I said with a clueless shrug.

Donnie laughed, "That's not even half of what he is. He's the owner of Anderson Construction, Anderson Tech... His company has built buildings all across the city. His software is sold to every social media outlet because of its intricate firewall. He's worked with some of the smartest men out there. Plus, he's pretty generous with his money and donates to a lot of small charities. He owns a couple actually..."

I blinked at all the information. I knew he was big but I didn't realize just how big. I mean, I have never heard of him. "Wow...um..."

"I found a few articles on Barry, apparently he's one to the most eligible bachelors in the tristate area."

My mom was right, why would he want to be involved with us if he could get some rich girl? "I'll make sure I tell him I know more about him than he does of us."

Donnie nodded, "Don't scare him off though. I want to meet this man." He held up two thumbs. "Tell him I'm a big fan."

Raph grabbed my hand and pulled it a bit, "That's great, Donnie. I'm sure Lilly will make sure to tell her mother's boyfriend that you like him more than she does. Can we leave?" Raph pleaded.

I sighed, "Okay, I'll see you guys later."

"How later?" Mikey asked.

"Tomorrow. That is, if Ian let's me." I waved goodbye to everyone before Raph was able to pull me away from them. I yanked my hand out of his grip and grunted, "That was rude!"

Raph pulled me close to him, wrapping his arm around my shoulders. "I want some alone time with my girlfriend. Is that so bad?"

I felt my cheeks flush, "No but maybe if you were patient-"

"We'd be there all night because when Donnie starts rambling he doesn't stop unless someone tells him to."

I shrugged, "He's passionate. I like that in people. I'm not going to tell him to stop."

"Yeah? Do you think I'm passionate?" He asked with a smirk.

I nodded, "Towards certain things. You're protective, you're passionate about keeping me safe and fighting. I especially like your love for animals."

"For animals?" He blinked.

"You loved Spike. I can only imagine how you are with puppies and cats." I rested my head on his shoulder and sighed peacefully.

Raph was silent for a bit. He gets like that whenever I mention Spike. Probably because he's no longer Spike. Maybe it still hurts, but if he's quiet about it, that means he doesn't want to talk and I won't force him. Instead, we stayed silent until we reached the sewers. "So...how was this month for you?" He asked softly.

"Actually," I said, pulling away from his embrace to look at him. "Tougher than I thought it would be. I mean I knew it'd be annoying but...I wasn't expecting my mood to change completely."

"Really? Your mood changed?" He asked with almost a childlike smile.

"Um...Yeah. Is that a good thing?" I narrowed my eyes at his happiness. What is he so happy about? My misery?

He shook his head once he realized he was smiling, "Um no... Well, I mean, it makes me kinda happy 'cause it means you really missed me..." he said, scratching the back of his head.

"Of course I did. Did you miss me?"

"You know I did, babe. I couldn't contact you because Master Splinter confiscated my phone, which he still hasn't given back. I had to be babysat by everyone. Master Splinter literally never gave me a break. All I wanted to do was just leave..."

I hugged him, "Awe, baby..."

He gave my back a little pat, "You know, I like it when you call me 'baby'."

"I like it when you call me 'babe'."

"Really? Good to know." Man, I missed him. And as annoying as it was sometimes, I missed his attitude. I missed his smile. I just missed him. "So uh...what time are you coming home tonight?"

I shrugged, "I don't know, maybe around like 11 or something."

"I don't know if I like the fact that this guy is taking you out on a date instead of your mom." He said with a whine.

I figure he wouldn't. Not after John. I think my mom has proved that her taste in men is not that great. Except my dad of course... "I know it's weird. Ian was skeptical too. But Barry told me I didn't have to go, but he still wanted to get to know me better. With a name like his, I don't think he'd do anything."

"Or he would and get away with it. He does have the money."

I rolled my eyes, "I'll be fine. If it makes you feel better, Ian bought me pepper spray and I'll take it with me."

"Okay..." he said hesitantly. "But call me and I'll be there in a split second."

"I'll be fine. I'll text you when I'm done with the dinner." I held his hand in mine and brought his fingers close to my mouth. "Then maybe we could catch up on some things." I said softly before kissing each one of his fingers.

Raph stopped walking, "Lilly, don't tempt me. It's been a month and it's almost spring so I'll take you here if I have to."

I giggled, "Come by my place around 11. Whether I'm there or not just wait for me. Okay?"

He nodded, "Alright..." we came up to the manhole cover and I sighed. This is where we part ways. "I can walk you home if you'd like..." he offered shyly.

I shook my head, "I can go the rest by myself."

"I'll see you at 11 then?"

I nodded, "Yup," I bit my lip before wrapping my arms around him. I realized that I haven't really kissed him since this entire time. "Bye,"

He pulled away and finally pressed his lips against mine. I felt myself sink into his kiss, my arms desperately trying to hold on to him. My mind kept telling me to stop acting like I didn't just see him last week for 30 minutes. But the second he walked out that window with Leonardo, I don't think I've ever missed him more. I missed just hanging out with each other and I'm happy we get to do that again without punishment. Now, with the way he was kissing me, it felt like laying down in a nice comfy bed after a long day. I sighed...

Raph pulled away from my lips, leaving me out of breath like he always does. "Okay, if I keep kissing you, you're not going to leave this place."

I smiled dreamily, "Don't tempt me to stay."

"No matter how long I tease you, we both know you're still going."

"Yeah…you're right… One more kiss." I said before giving him a quick sweet kiss then promptly wiping any lip stick residue from his mouth. "Okay, I'll see you at 11 then?"

He nodded, "Okay babe,"

As I was getting to my house, Christine was getting out of a cab with a whole bunch of junk in her hands. "Chris?"

Her head snapped over towards me, "Oh Lilly! Could you help me with this?" She asked.

I walked over to her, holding my arms out so she could place at least five dresses wrapped in plastic in my hands. I grunted from the unexpected weight. "Jesus… What-"

"Hey," she said, taking more shit out of the cab. "These are for you, no complaints." She handed cash to the cab and waved him off. "These are all the dresses I want you to try on before you go out with a millionaire's son."

"It's my mother's boyfriend, you weirdo."

"Doesn't mean you can't dress nice. He is taking you to New York City right? That means he's taking you somewhere expensive."

I walked up the stairs and knocked on the door, there's no way I can open it with these things in my hands. When Ian came to the door I just threw all the dresses onto him. "Happy Birthday." I said as I walked passed him.

"What is this?" He asked. "Oh...Hey, Chris..."

Christine let out a sigh of relief before throwing all of her things onto him as well. "I didn't know it was your birthday."

Ian grunted, "Its not." He reached over with his foot and shut the door. "What the hell is all this crap?"

"This crap...are things that Lilly is going to wear to the dinner she has with Barry."

"No I'm not." I said. I put on make up because I really did have a photoshoot. Nothing major, just something for the Facebook page Miss Stevenson had for dance. But I wasn't about to get all dolled up for my mother's boyfriend.

"Yes you are." Christ snapped back.

"No, she is not." Ian said heading over to the sofa to drop all the things from his arms. "This isn't her boyfriend, this is Aniya's boyfriend."

"She's going into the city though."

"Y qué, she's not walking out of this house with anything other than a long sleeve turtle neck and some sweatpants." Ian said, crossing his arms.

I watched as Christine and Ian went back and forth. Christine was a 5 foot blonde who acted like she stood equal to Ian's 6 foot 2 inches. I smiled at the both of them.

When they were little, everyone knew they used to fool around. Ian would come over my house for me and leave with Chris whenever she was over, no one was stupid. We all knew they had feelings for each other. Or it seemed that way... Chris got pregnant by someone I barely remember, had the baby then lost it, then ran away to New York telling only my mother. Ian was sad, but then he decided to take care of me and that was that.

Christine shook her head, "Don't look at me with those eyes, Ian. Do you want her to look like a hobo?"

"Yes. Sometimes that's better." Ian pointed at me. "I mean she already has make up on, what more does she need?"

Christine groaned, "Ugh, you men are so stupid. You especially. You're so smart but still stupid."

I rolled my eyes, "I was going to go in what I'm wearing now."

"No!" Chris yelled.

"Christine, what I say goes. And if I say she isn't going to wear a dress, then she isn't going to wear a dress."

After a while, Chris let out a puff of air. "Fine." She said, finally giving in.

"You guys are cute," I said under my breath.
