After being struck by lighting and then waking up from his coma in Star Labs, Barry went to find Iris.
Barry entered the NCY Jitters and immediately saw Iris waiting at a table. Barry could see his other friends Peter and Mary Jane Parker with their 8 year old daughter Annie and Gwen Stacy, but Barry only had eyes for Iris.
Iris then saw Barry. Her eyes went wide in shocked then started brimming with tears.
"Oh My God!" She ran forward and hugged him tightly. Barry returned the hug holding her tightly to him. When they pulled away Iris look him up and down. "Your awake. Why didn't Star Lab call us?"
"I just woke up." Said Barry the grin on his face was still there. "I watched you die. Barry." Iris voice was getting chocked up. "Your heart keep stopping." Barry took Iris hand and laid it over his chest. "Still beating."
Iris could feel it. "Feels really fast." Then a waitress gave a cry as she trip with a bunch of drinks. Suddenly the world seem to slow down to Barry. Like he was watching a video one frame by second.
He didn't understand what was going on. Then time seem to resume back to normal.
"What the-..." thought Barry. Then he was brought back to focus by Peter and the others coming over. Gwen rolling in her wheelchair. Annie was the first to run forward to give Barry a hug. "Hey Annie. You gotten bigger." Everyone laughed as Annie slugged his arm. "Nice to see you too!" Annie then step away to let the rest get a turn to greet him.
"It's so good to see you well again Barry." Said Peter hugging Barry. "You scared the hell out of us." Said Mary Jane giving Barry a quick sisterly kiss on his cheek that made him blush.
Barry bent down to give a hug to Gwen.
"It's great to see you guys again." Said Barry his smile returning. "You should inform dad. He needs to see you up." Said Iris. Barry nodded then gave Iris one last hug. "See you guys later."
