A/N: Chapter 3. I'm honestly still not sure what the main reason for this story was other than my admiration for such an underrated friendship/ship. This is kinda like a better, shorter, and more songfic version of Firey (Icy) Compassion.. if that matters.

I don't disagree with any song suggestions. My formatting still needs work, I know.

Song #3: "Hot n Cold" by Katy Perry

"Ryan! Hold up- are you drawing?"

Ryan huffed. Doesn't anyone pay attention? He's had the same notepad, working on the same drawing with his range of pencils for about a month. It's not like Walter would bother to ask what he's drawing. Ryan already decided that it wasn't worth, especially after his date with Molly.

It would've made more sense if he was actually drawing Molly.

But no, this was a draft that he'd decided to carry on with. He lightly nodded his head to the music playing in his earphones as he continued adding the final touches of shading to his drawing. Walter, being the arts expert, felt compelled to know what Wolfe had spent so long drawing. It seemed like he really cared about this sketch. Supposedly more than the other ones of crime scenes, Halloween scenarios and maps of islands.

'This damn crush.' He sighed to himself, staring at the eyes. Ryan was sure he'd seen Eric's eyes enough times to know what they look like. He had mesmerising brown eyes.

"Are you drawing Delko?" Walter exclaimed, leaning over his shoulder and looking at the drawing.

Ryan scrambled to find something to cover up his drawing with. Simmons picked up Ryan's notepad to see the drawing in a better like. The attention to detail and lack of imperfection made him wonder how Ryan got so good if he convinced everybody he couldn't draw. This proved he could draw. And Walter hadn't even seen the stars Ryan drew around him.

"How come you never told me you could draw like this?"

"I draw for fun, now give it back." Ryan responded, slightly anxious about who would see that if Walter kept trying to find new light spots to put it in.

Eric came to find Ryan since he decided that he wanted to tell Ryan a song he liked, instead of him giving him a song. Just for a day. He prepared to called Wolfe, and got his iPod ready with the song. The Cuban saw Ryan in the other room, complaining to Walter. So instead he decided that he would go and see him. They were all on desk duty due to a lack of cases, so it wouldn't make a difference to waste a little time.

Even though none of the songs Eric heard from Ryan had been pop songs, he wanted to get this out of his system. The lyrics really did have what he thought of him in his head. But the idea seemed far fetched for someone like him, pestering the guy who would always give him songs since he hadn't liked his taste.

But Delko had the living daylights scared out of him when he got hit with Ryan's drawing pad. "Shit!"

Ryan rolled his eyes. He stood up to fetch the notepad, unaware it was right in Eric's eyesight. The older man saw the drawing on the floor. His face lit up in wonder. He knew that Ryan had been putting a lot of effort into his most recent scribble, but this wasn't what he expected.

"Sorry Delko. What do you think of Wolfe's drawing?"

"It's insane," He commented, glancing up at the younger man. "Can I, um, keep it?"

"Yeah, yeah.. definitely." Ryan blushed bright red. Of all things he'd heard Eric say, this had to be the least patronizing and most complimentary thing he'd said about one of his doodles.

He precisely ripped the page out of the drawing pad, once on the desk, and put it into a plastic folder. Ryan handed it to Eric, who smiled once he looked at it. "Thank you, Ryan. I'll make sure to put this up."

"You're welcome, Delko. Sorry you got hit with the whole thing."

Eric laughed. "It's fine. But do you know what song really reminds me of you?"

Ryan placed his hands on hips, tilting his head curiously. Delko didn't usually give him the songs. Mainly because Ryan liked to think Eric appealed a lot better with his song choices. "Maybe you should try listening to a little Hot 'n' Cold by Katy Perry, as if the song couldn't be more true about your stubborn ass."

"Oh, and I'm stubborn?"

"Yep." Eric smirked, leaving the room with a brief "hello" to Walter at the door.

Wolfe raised an eyebrow. Stupidly hot bastard.

'You change your mind like a girl changes clothes

Yeah, you PMS like a bitch I would know

And you over-think always speak cryptically

I should know that you're no good for me..

...

'Cause you're hot then you're cold

You're "Yes" then you're "No"

You're in then you're out

You're up then you're down,

...

You're wrong when it's right

It's black and it's white

We fight, we break up..

We kiss, we make up.'
