6 months later

Connor was in the DEO training room punching at a punching bag. It was almost Christmas and Connor was getting nervous. Because Kara had set up a family gathering and her cousin was going be there. Kara said they hadn't told Clark about him as payback for not telling her about him. That she and the other will support him whatever Superman said.

Then a voice came from the door that made Connor lose his focus. He turn to see DEO agent Dinah Lance code name Siren. After meeting Kara and deciding to work with her, Connor had met Dinah who he learn was from another earth along with a couple of other heroes like her mentor Wildcat. That she had the power of Sonic screaming.

She had become Connor trainer in the way of combat just like Alex was for Kara. Connor had also started falling for the blonde even though he knew there was no chance. Dinah like Kara, Alex, Win, Lena and sometime John treated Connor with kindness.

"You happy punching the bag or do you want to go a few rounds with me Connor." Connor raised a eyebrow. "I mean sparring." Dinah explain removing her jacket. "Um sure." Said Connor swallowing as Dinah removed her jacket in what seem a purposely sexy way. (If you want context go to the spar between Green Arrow and Black Canary on Justice League Unlimited but doing it much slower.)

They took fighting stances then they began. Back and forth they traded blows. Connor notice that Dinah seem distracted.

Dinah then swung a leg which Connor grabbed. Before Dinah could do anything Connor swung her sideways and she fell on the floor. Before she could get up Connor had grabbed her arms and moved them behind her in a hold. "You gotten better Connor." Dinah said with a smile on her lips. "Thanks but is something wrong?"

"What do you mean?" Asked Dinah testing Connor grip which was strong but also gentle. Clearly he didn't want to hurt her. "Your distracted out of focus."

"Maybe it because of you handsome." Dinah smiled at Connor making him blush. Then she became serious.

"But you're right. Something come up and I need help with."

"What's wrong?" Asked Connor his grip loosing slightly. Instead of answering Dinah said. "How about this? If I can get out of this grip you help me." Connor blinked then smiled. "Okay, Deal."

The next moment Connor found himself on his back with Dinah on top, pinning him. "I win." Dinah had a seductive smile on her lips as she gazed down at the clone under her. Dinah could feel her heart beat faster and wanted so badly to lean down and kiss him. But she worry I might not go so well even with knowing how he felt about her. "I'll drive."

Time Skip

At Roulette underground fight club in a locker.

Connor lean against door watching Dinah stretch readying herself for the fight with her mentor Wildcat to get him to stop fighting for Roulette.

"Well you bought us some time but it look like we're still going have to fight our way out of here."

"We have to finish this the only way he know how. No powers. Otherwise he'll just come back." Said Dinah stretching a leg on a table. Connor gazed at her. He had seen how brutal Wildcat had been with Atomic Skull nearly breaking his jaw. He couldn't afford that happing to Dinah.

"I just thought that you were pretending again." Said Connor his voice cared a hit of annoyance. But pulled a small capsule from his pocket that fit in his hand.

"What's that suppose to mean?" Asked Dinah turning around to look at him. Not noticing one of his hand was closed.

"Like all the flirting you did at the DEO. The way you acted intrested just I would come with you." Connor folded his arms.

Dinah realize where this was going. "That wasn't pretending." His eyes narrowed.

"Oh no. I know your game now."

Dinah took a step forward her face unguarded as she said in complete honesty.

"Your never a game to me Connor."

Connor raised a eyebrow. She sound genuine but he knew he needed to go along with his plan.

"No? Come and look me in the eye and say so."

Dinah step up right in front of him. But before she could say anything Connor activated the capsule which spray knock out gas in Dinah face. She collapsed but Connor immediately caught her. The door then open and Roulette entered the room and narrowed her eyes.

"Don't worry. You'll get your fight." Said Connor gently laying Dinah on the table.

5 minutes later in the cage

Superboy attach the bracelet on his wrist.

"He wearing a bracelet that will make himself even with Wildcat. To make things fair." Said Roulette in the microphone. "Let the fight began!"

"He not a fighter!" Said Wildcat looking again at Roulette but she ignore him as she left the cage.

"Oh I get it. Your scared of taking on a Super even one with out powers?" Taunted Connor. Immediately Wildcat angrily attack Connor and the fight began.

Dinah woke up and found herself on the table. She look around but Connor wasn't there. Then she heard the crowd cheering. "No." Dinah immediately got up and headed for the arena. When she got there she saw Wildcat beating the crap out of Connor.

Dinah ran to the cage just as Connor got hit into the side. Before she could open the door to stop the fight two security members grabbed her. "What are you doing?!"

"Teach a old cat a new trick." Groaned Connor then he attack Wildcat again and immediately got punch and kneed then thrown against the cage again. "Wildcat Stop It!" Cried Dinah seeing some blood go down Connor's chin. "He asked for it!"

Whipping away the blood Connor got up again. "Are you sure it was you that taught her?" Growling Wildcat tackled Connor to the ground again and started delivering a bunch of blows on the Superboy. While the crowd screamed for blood. When Wildcat stop and took a breath Connor spat out some blood and look up at him.

"Even without my powers. Your still to old to knock me out!" Again Wildcat growled and lifted Connor up holding him by the shirt. Connor just gave a small laugh.

With a roar Wildcat delivered a powerful upper cut. Connor then landed on the floor facing down.

Wildcat aproceh Connor who wasn't moving. "Had enough kid?!" Connor didn't move. "Get up I'm not done!" Wildcat use his foot to turn Connor over. Connor eyes was closed, mouth agape. He didn't seem to be breathing.

Wildcat knelt down and check Conner neck then his wrist. There was no pulse. Wildcat let go of the wrist and it fell limp to the ground. Dinah eyes went wide

Wildcat step back his face full of horror. The crowed which went silent exploded with cheers. Dinah then angrily elbowed one guard then kick the other away from her and open the cage, rushing in.

She look at Connor limp body then at her mentor. Wildcat look like he was going say something but Dinah punch him hard.

"What have you done?!" Wildcat saw the hurt and anger in Dinah eyes and realize that the person she told him she was falling for and that he said he would give his support was Connor and that he just killed him.

"I'll tell you what he done." Said Roulette stepping into the cage. "He took things to a whole new level. Next time you fight, we'll sell millions."

"No." Said Wildcat his voice full of sadness. "I'm out and this time I mean it."

"And you are also over Roulette." Came a voice and John appeared from the entrance way as did Kara, Alex and a team of DEO troops. "No!" Yelled Kara flying over to Connor.

Wildcat held out his hands to Alex. It was clear what he was doing. Alex after looking at John who nodded handcuff him and started leading him away. As they past Dinah, Wildcat said. "I'm sorry."

Dinah knelt next to Connor as did Kara.

Soon everyone apart from them and John were left in the arena.

"He did all this for me." Dinah finally said. "He was reckless, stubborn, pig headed and..." She then touch Connor face. "And very very sweet."

Kara and John watch as Dinah bent down to give Connor a kiss on his cheek. "I'm sorry." Then Connor opened his eyes groaning. "I'm not." Dinah gasp and Kara gave a sigh.

Connor pulled out a device from his pocket. "It's a stunner. I brought it and the gas incase we needed to knock out someone. And with out my powers I was able to use it on me." Dinah then realized Connor plan.

"You wanted him to see what it was like to kill someone." Connor gave a nod. "Think it worked?" Then someone appeared. It was Wildcat no longer in handcuffs, behind him was Alex. "It worked kid." He offered Connor a hand up.

"I'm sorry what I put you through." Said Wildcat to Dinah as they were leaving. "Seeing his dead body by my hands, knock me back to my senses. You made a good choice." Connor didn't understand that last part.

"I believe you." Said Dinah. "But I want to make sure it going to stick." She look at John.

"Excuse me?" Asked Wildcat. "Things like this. Sometimes you can't stop them by yourself no matter how hard you want to." Wildcat look at John. "I'll help where I can."

"Believe me. Fighting is no where tough as this is going be." Wildcat left with John and Alex while Kara and Dinah took Connor home.

They arrived at Connor apartment which was a few doors away from Kara's apartment. "I can take it from here." Said Dinah to Kara giving her a look. "Okay. If you need anything."

"Thanks Kara." Said Connor. Then Kara went into her apartment and he and Dinah went to his. He was pleasantly surprised when Dinah came into his apartment with him. But then was confused then shocked when she lead to his bedroom made him sit so his back was against the headboard then straddle his lap so she sitting on his lap before he could say anything.

"Dinah What-..." he was silent by Dinah finger to his lips. "Connor there something you should know about me." She gazed into his eyes with her blue ones. "Is that when I comment to something. I go all in."

Connor blinked. "Training and fighting along side you these past months and then what you did tonight and doing it all for me. Made me realize something."

"And... what's that?" Asked Connor nervously. Dinah held his face in her hands. "That I fallen for you Connor and that I want to be with you." Connor eyes went wide. "You serious?"

"I am. Just know that if we started a relationship that your mine no one else's and I'm yours. That is if you think I'm to old- mmm..." Dinah was silent by Connor's lips on hers. But she responded immediately and started returning the kiss with gusto as she removed her jacket.

In Kara apartment

Sitting on the couch was Kara with Lena. "Well?" Asked Lena looking at her girlfriend.

Kara smiled. She had been using her x ray vision and super hearing. "I say that you owe me five bucks." Lena gave a sigh. "Well at least you won a bet on a good thing."

"You beat on the wrong timing Lena." Said Lena smiling. "Whether What the timing was the results is what matter." They both laughed. Then Lena said. "Since their having fun. Should we have our own?" Kara gazed at her Lena then she pulled her on to her lap and kissed her. Lena responded in kind.
