Hey, guys
First of all, if you have been waiting for this update since I dropped this story, then I'm extremely sorry. I planned to update the story. I had the other chapters ready and everything. But life happened, and I got sidetracked.
I have actually been planning to update this story for a few weeks now. But I just couldn't get into the zone. I eventually went back to reading the entire fanfiction, and it all seems so weird to me. Edward and Bella fell in love in literally two days! That is not at all consistent with both the characters, not to mention the fact that it would never happen in real life.
Apart from that, there were also many plot holes. For example, the fact that it was obvious that Bella loved her mother. But in the fanfiction, she is not even worried that Renee is nowhere around, and she is in a strange place. Also, Edward kissed her when he had known her for two days! He is a morally complex character who would never do that.
Because of these reasons, I don't think I will be able to continue with this story when I can't even get past these facts. But what I'm going to do is to give you an update regarding where I actually see this fanfiction going.
So, Edward does not ever tell Bella that he is a vampire. She gets pissed off that he is hiding from her. But in truth, Edward wants to tell her. Sadly, he can't bring himself to actually say the words. So, she decides that she wants to take a breath from Edward's constant dodging of the question. She believes that the best way to do that is to go for the little La Push outing.
There, she meets Jacob, who spills his guts about the treaty and the Cullen's being vampires. Meanwhile, Edward is on a hunting trip. When he comes back, Bella confronts him. He is surprised that Bella has figured it out so quickly, but he owns up to the truth. And everything from there on is somewhat similar to what happens in the original novels.
Now, all of this being said, I do want to mention that I'm working on another story based on a similar idea. Truth be told, I loved the idea that Edward and Bella met when he was human. But I wanted the story to be more refined in a way. So, I'm going to be working on that.
Spoiler alert: that story will be more original in terms of the story and include witches along with werewolves and vampires.
