AN: Yo, I'm not dead but with the work I have I wish I was.
I am sure most of you have given up hope that my stories were ever going to be updated but I am trying. So please be patient I was lost on whether to continue or not but with the support, my stories still get I will continue.
Therefore, this is chapter 21

-Outskirts of Uzu- Naruto-
Naruto flew on top of Shiva thinking up as many plans as he could while also trying to get over the fact that there was a ten-tails beast.
'Nine-tails if you can hear me was what Madara said true or false'
He did not expect an answer knowing the Nine-tails never spoke unless it was out of necessity.
"You may have gotten stronger boy but that alone means nothing… you may have also acquired the Sages' eyes but you will never replace him."
Naruto then started to meditate to be able to speak to the Nine-tails better.
-Naruto's Mindscape-
"I never once thought of myself as better than the sage Nine-tails and I know I will never be all I wish for is answers and I have a hunch you have most of them."
The Nine-tails looked on from his cage eyeing Naruto to see his emotions and try and make out his intentions.
"All you humans are alike boy, you all want nothing more than power you are no different in my eyes… but if you wish to prove me wrong free me allow me to regain what I have lost."
Naruto narrowed his eyes at him with a frown and sighed while crossing his arms over his chest.
"We have been together since birth Kyuubi yet you know nothing about me..."
Naruto then conjured up a chair while looking at the cage in front of him.
"…If you ever bothered to get to know me than you would have realized long ago that my intentions for getting stronger were not for my own personal gain it was so as to never lose a friend."
"What you identify as righteous I call illusions no one truly cares for each other Naruto all they want is to associate themselves with those of higher standards believing they will attain those standard if they stay with them."
"Then we are at a crossroads as they say because even if I see white you see black our views are so very different aren't they."
Naruto was tired of fighting with the Nine-tails never getting anywhere with him always at each other's throat.
"So it seems… but the enemy before us is one we both mutually despise so I believe a compromise is in order Naruto."
Naruto looked up in surprise never in his life did he think he'd ever hear the Kyuubi say his name let alone say they should work together.
"What do you have in mind?" Naruto cautiously asked.
"I hate your kind let us make that very clear… but I despise the Uchiha clan even more so if you are willing to weaken the seal to a degree you feel comfortable then I am willing to give you access to my power to destroy the filthy imposter."
"So you knew he was not the real Madara huh… but this whole weakening the seal is not to my liking what do I get out of this besides more of your power?"
"For one your healing powers will be off the charts and second if you do help me I will make sure to give those spawns of you're a bloodline… nothing major just access to three tail of my power along with your new healing factor and immunity to genjutsu like what you hear so far or like all humans is it not enough." Kyuubi growled out thinking Naruto would ask for more.
Naruto was shocked when he heard this, the legendary Nine-tails was offering more than he ever imagined.
"N-no this is beyond what I believed you would ever offer I-I need time to think about if you don't mind." Naruto said while slowly leaving his mindscape.
The Kyuubi was left alone looking on where Naruto once stood and he for once left he might have found a true partner in this Uzumaki.
-On top of Shiva-
As Naruto returned to his physical body he noticed they were approaching the village and decided to land to have time to think on the road.
"Shiva right here is fine!" Naruto shouted over the sounds of the wind.
"As you wish Uzumaki-sama."
As they landed Naruto saw Ur and Konan stretch they limbs from the long ride back.
"Until next time Uzumaki-sama." Shiva bowed and left
"So what has you thinking so much Uzukage-sama?" Ur asked
"Do not worry about it Ur." Naruto responded while starting his way back to the village.
Both Ur and Konan shrugged their shoulders and followed behind him as a calm pace.
-Village-
The previous clan head were all enjoying their time with the new heads in one of the many bar-b-q that the Akimichi clan now owned and operated.
"So this Mavis Ino is she around?" Ino's father questions as he stuffed his mouth with more meat.
"At the moment I believe she is in the decoding building watching over and probably teaching some of the new recruits." Ino said after wiping her mouth clean.
"This village is simply amazing that I can't get over how much you guys improved our old ways." Kiba's mom said while looking outside at the people walking by with peaceful smile.
Just before one could answer, they heard a voice answer for them.
"Thanks my husband and I try very hard to keep the old ways alive still improving on them."
They all turned around to see a blond haired young woman smiling at them while having her hand at her waist.
"Lady Mavis what are you doing here?" Hinata asked politely while bowing a little.
"Naruto is on his way here by foot and I happen to hear Shikamaru say he was looking for you." Mavis happily says while smiling even brighter.
Everyone widen their eyes at this and immediately got up with Mavis going over and paying for their food.
"Come on let's go." Mavis announced while marching in front of them.
The old clan head watch on curious of the this young woman and were wondering how could someone so young and quirky be as smart as their children say she was.
-Front Gate-
Naruto walked on and decided to talk with Mavis and the others about Kyuubi's offer together. As he got closer he saw the clan head both old and new waiting for him along with a grinning Tsunade and a humming Mavis.
"To what do I owe the pleasure of this welcoming committee?" Naruto joked when he was close enough.
Shikamaru walked forward and lazily raised his right hand while smiling at him with yet another cigarette in his mouth.
"Yo nothing much just wanted to show them our good old Uzukage." Shikamaru joked back while taking a few inhales of the cancer stick.
"Welcome back brat." Tsunade said while a very proud smile.
Naruto smile back while nodding but stopped when he saw Karin with the help of crouches walking towards him with a smile.
"Didn't think you'd see me walking again huh cousin?" Karin said with a little smile.
"No I always knew you'd make it work after all you're an Uzumaki." Naruto told her while hugging her gently.
"She is quite the fighter Naruto." Naruto turned to see Nagato standing there with a smile while wearing the Uzu uniform.
"Red looks good on you Nagato."
Naruto walked over to him as he said that and shook his hand while smiling at him.
"So what happened at the Kage meeting brat?"
"I'm sorry Baa-chan but that is for the council to know only." Naruto mocked her with a loving smile making Tsunade gain a tick mark on her forehead but let go while lightly punching his arm.
"Same old Naruto huh… I've missed you brat." Tsunade said while hugging him like a mother would her child whose been gone for years.
"As have I Tsunade." Naruto said while hugging her back.
Everyone smiled at their reunion and let them finish before asking their questions.
"Now then meet me at the council room and I will tell you guys everything."
"Right." Everyone said while Shikamaru led the way.
Naruto for his part left via a lightning bolt shooting into the sky scaring all the previous clan heads.
"What the fuck was that!" Tsunade yelled while looking at the sky.
They expected Mavis to answer but found that she was gone as well, which made them believe she left with Naruto.
"That was his dramatic exit… he has a lot of them you'll get use to them." Ino said with a shrug.
The war is just over the horizon but can Naruto make a deal with the beast that tore his family apart or will he deny it.
AN: Sorry, for the short chapter but with my busy life this is all I can manage at this time I will try to update more but I cannot promise anything.
