Epilogue
Jonathan Crane continued his work when he heard a knock on his door. Rushing towards it, he opened it to reveal the last person he wanted to see.
"I was told you have something to tell me" Oswald Cobblepot stated as he walked into the apartment.
"Indeed, I do." Crane responded before walking back to his work bench. "I've been working on a little something awhile back. Something to help me with my patients at the asylum."
"And what exactly is it?"
"Just a gas I've been working on. I have yet to test it and see if it'll be of any use." Crane then reached into a drawer and pulled out a mask before putting it on. The mask itself looked like someone took a potato sack and cut holes for the eyes and mouth before stitching them together. "And that's exactly why I asked you to come."
Cobblepot raised a brow "Care to explain the reason for the mask?"
"Just a precaution, to make sure I don't get affected by it."
"Right, so what do you want me to do?"
"Allow me to answer your question with another one. What's the one thing you fear most?"
