Yes it is me Tornado's Shadow here yet agian to with another chapter. This is the series I am going to work with for a little while. Yes it is probably not the story you wanted as in part 8 of Naruto the true genius. This is what I have more incentive to write this story as in I find it fun to write. I don't know if there is a YouTube series similar to that of this story but it is not based on anything. It just seemed fun to do.
With all my nonsense out of the way let's continue.
1 Week later.
Asta was taking a small break from training when something caught his eye. When he went to investigate he saw a small mark that looked like the handle to a latch. So he did the only reasonable thing. He pulled out his Anti-Magic sword and stabbed it. Then it disintegrated and left a shallow hole. Asta jumped down into the hole when he saw a door. When he opened the door he started walking down a long corridor. When he was about half way into the corridor he heard something. "Come this way young one. Do not shy away." A deep and powerful voice spoke.
That sent Shivers down Asta's spine. As he got farther into the corridor he noticed a door at the end of the hall. When he got there he opened it slowly. The first thing he saw was a small Lion laying near a grimoire. That grimoire was a bright white with gold markes in a sphere like pattern. On the cover an extraordinary bright whn the shape of a five leaf clover. When Asta approached he notice the lion open its eyes and look at him. "Listen well human. I may be a lion but I was once human. I am Escanor. In my past life I was a human that wielded a magic called Sunshine. When I died my magic became this grimoire. I was reborn as a lion, my duty is to find someone worthy of this magic power and help them on the path of righteousness." The small lion spoke in a deep and powerful voice. Asta looked at the lion and bowed his head. "Yes sir." Asta spoke in his most respectful tone.
"No need for formalities. I have chosen you to become the next wielder of my magic. I see a pure soul in side of you. You must never become tainted with power. Remember that even though you where born without magic. That doesn't mean you can't be strong. That grimoire of yours proves it." The lion now known as Escanor spoke. "I will try my hardest to improve and become worthy of your respect." Asta said ready for anything. "Hahaha I like you kid. Now lets see what we can do about your power. Ah yes that's it!" Escanor said. Asta then aplroached the grimoire. When he got a foot away from it, it started glowing a brilliant orange. Then it floated over to Asta and then a small explosion happened. Asta then went from having no magic at all to having enough to make the Wizard King seem like a small child in comparison. "Kid, you can switch grimoires at will. That also means you can disable your magic at any timeand vice versa." Asta nodded disabling his new magic. "Well I guess it's time to go." Asta said in awe. Asta was closely followed by Escanor. When they got back to the training spot Asta was using. "Asta if you want to go in depth learning my magic, you should find a strong water user." Escanor said in a wise tone. Asta nodded and turned to start reading his new grimoire. "What's Cruel Sun?" Asta asked confused at the spell. "That is when you summon a small sun to your hand that you can control it's every movement." Escanor explained. Asta was amazed to say the least.
5 Months Later
Asta and his new lion companion Escanor where walking away from where Asta started training 5 months ago. Asta was now 5'10 and as buff as ever. One noticeable thing about him was that he had two grimoires. One on each hip. Asta was ready for anything. When he turned to get on the main path he noticed something. His friend and rival Yuno was there using magic to cut wood. Asta sighed before walking over silently over to him. "Well this is an odd spot for training." Asta said almost giving Yuno a heart attack. "When the hell did you get here?" Yuno asked somewhat scared. Asta laughed loudly before Yuno took notice of a lion following Asta. "Why the hell is there a lion?" Yuno almost yelled getting into a fighting stance. "Calm down Yuno he's with me. As for getting here I only arrived a minute ago. Don't annoy the lion, he could tear you to pieces before you could use a spell." Asta said bluntly. Yes this was his response. Escanor walked up tot he two "Hello my name is Escanor. I am what you would call The Spirit of the Sun." Escanor stated in a calm tone. Yuno was having a mental crisis 'Everything I know is a lie!' He thought before Asta stepped in. "Yuno, Escanor here is a one of a kind lion. That means you will probably never see another one like him." Asta said as Yuno let out a sigh of relief. Asta and Yuno decided to talk for a little while longer. Mostly about how they have been and what they did for training.
When that was over they decided to have a friendly race. When they began Asta was just running on foot and Yuno was flying. In front of both of them a lion could be seen gaining more and more distance between him and the other two. They ended up finishing at the same time. When they got there they were greeted by the Priest, Sister Lily, and all the kids in the orphanage. Asta had to go through the whole lion thing again and not much later both Asta and Yuno left for the royal capital in hopes of becoming a Magic Knight.
As they travled Asta learned that Escanir could go invisible to people he doesn't want to see him. That doesn't apply to Asta seeing as they have the same magic it doesn't affect him. Also somehow Escanor can walk on air, who knew. Once they got to the capital they started looking around for the area the test was in. Asta looked in a shop and saw the price of the items there "How the hell can anyone buy this stuff?" Asta asked shocked at the price. Yuno and Asta wandered for a bit longer until they found the spot they were looking for. When they got there they signed up for the magic knights exam. When Yuno registered everyone was in awe about his four-leaf clover. Yuno was given number 164. When Asta walked but he held out both of his grimoires. Everyone in a 50 foot radius lost their minds. Asta was then given number 165.
The first test was to see the level of magic everyone had. Asta was just hanging around when the birds all turned their heads slowly to look at him. Then he took off and ran into the back of a very muscular man. "You got a death wish kid?" The man asked. "Sorry about bumping into you. You look a bit old for taking this exam." Asta said. "So you do have a death wish." The man said as he grabbed Asta's head. "Sir, you seem to have misplaced your hand on top of my head." Asta said rather calmly. The man looked at him strangly "I like your humor kid. But if you do that again your dead." The man said. Not much earlier two people walked towards them "Sir, it doesn't look good for a magic knight captin to kill an examine." a guy with brown hair said. Then fireworks went off. The man and the other two guys walked off. Less than 30 seconds later several people walked in. Sekke or HaHa guy as Asta would call him explained "Those are the magic knight captains. There's Nozel Silva Captain of the Siver Eagles. And theres Fuegoleon Vermillion Captain of the Crimson Lion Kings. Then there is Jack the Ripper Captain of the Green praying mantises. Then there is Charlotte Roselei Captain of the Blue Rose Knights. And theres Gueldre Poizot Captain of the Purple Orcas. And theres Dorothy Unsworth Captain of the Coral Peacocks. And theres Rill Boismortier Captain of the Aqua Deer. And theres The front runner William Vangeance Captain of the Golden Dawn. And then there is Yami Sukehiro Captain of the Black Bulls." HaHa guy said.
Then broomsticks came from this tree thing. "This is the first of several tests that will prove you standing as a magic knight." William said. Once Asta got on the broomstick he summoned his magic and he launched 200 feet in the air. "SHIT!!" he yelled as he started falling from the sky at break neck speeds. Then Asta landed next to a Silver haired girl. "Oww that hurt like hell." Asta said before turning his attention to the silver haired girl. "Hi I'm Asta, sorry if I scared you with the whole falling from the sky and onto the ground 2 feet from you." Asta said while sheepishly scratching the back of his head. "Hello, I am Noelle Silva." She said in a monotonous voice. "Well it was nice to meet you. I guess I should go back to the exams. Hope to see you later." Asta said as he waved and walked off.
The next part was the magic power test. Asta looked at the wall "Can everyone take two steps back?" he asked. When most people did as he asked he opened his hand "Sun Creation Magic: Cruel Sun" Asta said before sending a small sun at the wall and obliterating it. The next part was the magic control test. Asta used a much smaller Cruel Sun and used it to weave around and through the targets. The part after that was a magic creation test. Asta decided to do something no one would expect "Sun Creation Magic: Divine Axe!" Asta shouted as he made an axe appear. Then there was the evaluation test so Asta just made a large sun tree. The last part was the best in Asta's opinion. It was a duel. Asta decided to pair with HaHa guy. When they started he made a ball thingy. Asta sighed and said "No pulling punches I guess." Then Asta slightly flexes his power and all the captains were struck with a jolt of fear. Then Asta lowered his levels to none before drawing his sword and seemingly appearing near the blue ball and hitting so hard the ground shattered and made a shallow crater. The sword cut through the spell like a hot knife through butter so the sword landed on Sekke full force. 'I'm glad I didn't piss that kid off' thought Yami concerned about what might have happened to him if that kid wanted to kill him.
