"Who is she Tamaki?" Honey looks over to Tamaki, who is looking at the door with a serious expression.

"Why did she say 'old friend'?" The twins ask.

"A reunion from your childhood, I suppose?" Haruhi questions.

"I believe you are somewhat correct, Haruhi." Kyoya says coolly.

They talk about the new guest casually, while Tamaki's mind wanders. 'Anna Michiko. That's right, her father did business with mine. Our mothers were very close, so we grew up with each other. She was only 8 at the time while I was only 10, but I came to care for her. She was like a little sister to me.' Tamaki stares at the closed door. "Anna was a very close friend to me, before I left my mother in Paris." He talks out loud to the other hosts as he recalls his childhood. "She was 8 when she left, because her aunt believed Anna was unladylike and needed to learn proper etiquette. She's the reason I wanted to start a host club. Seeing her sad and upset made me want to make girls feel cherished and loved. That's our goal as hosts, to make girls happy by making them feel cherished and loved."

The guys, and Haruhi, stare at Tamaki in shock. This is the first time they've heard anything from Tamaki's past. Tamaki turns around and smiles at the group. "But that's old news, now it's as if we're starting over."

'What was wrong with me today?' I think to myself as I walk around the school grounds, admiring the beautiful trees and cherry blossoms. 'My actions were completely out of hand.' I sit at a bench under a cherry blossom tree, facing a pond. 'I upset the teacher, Hikaru, and Haruhi. Then, I flustered Tamaki, twice. That was very much unlike me.' I stare at the water lilies floating in the pond, then say out loud, "If only I can rewind today or apologize for my actions again."

"What's wrong Anna?" A voice comes up from behind me, making me jump. "Sorry I didn't mean to startle you." Haruhi appears in front of me, smiling. She's about an inch shorter than me, standing at 5'1".

"Oh, Haruhi, it's you. I'm okay. I truly am sorry for earlier. I didn't mean to-"

"It's okay," Haruhi sits next to me as she adds, "I am a girl, by birth. But I only look like this because a kid got gum stuck in my hair and I had to cut it. I'm wearing a guy's uniform because that's what the guys got me when I started out as a host. I come from a poor family. I'm not rich. I'm just a scholarship student here. I didn't have money to buy myself a uniform and the guys helped me out."

"I see. Do they know you're not a guy?"

Haruhi laughs, "Of course they do. They want to keep it a secret, because if everyone knows I'm a girl I couldn't be a host anymore. Although, I don't really care if people know I'm a girl or not. I don't feel that people should be separated and treated differently due to their gender. After all, it's what's on the inside that counts. Right?"

I consider what she says for a moment then smile, "Yes, I suppose you're right." She smiles at me then we both look at the pond, sitting in silence. A breeze picks up and ruffles my skirt. After a while I ask, "Haruhi, would you mind helping me with something?"

"Sure, what do you need?"

"Do you know what I can do to apologize to the guys for my inappropriate behavior earlier? I've upset not only our teacher, but also Hikaru and Tamaki."

Haruhi considers this request for a moment. I look at her, waiting for her response. A few minutes pass and she finally says, "Hikaru can be a little bit tricky. We'll need to talk to Kaoru about it. As for Tamaki, he's easily pleased so you can-"

"Wait, does he still like being called King?"

"Yes, he does." Haruhi looks at me confused.

"I know what to do. Would you mind coming over to my place after school? I would like your help. Kaoru can come too, if we can separate him and Hikaru."

"Sure, I'll let my dad know and I can talk to Kaoru. I have to go back to the host club," Haruhi points up to one of the windows on the third story floor of the building to my left and I see the host club guys looking out the window, except Tamaki. "I'll see you after school."

"Yeah, okay. Meet me here." I smile at her as she walks away. I look back up to the window and only see Hikaru, Kaoru, Mori and Honey. Honey waves to me and I slightly wave back, before getting up and walking away.

"Mother? Yes, it's Anna. May I have two friends over, please? Haruhi and Kaoru. Yes. Yes. One of them. Please, watch your excess use of amusement. Pourquoi? Non. Oui. Oui. Merci. Au revoir." I hang up from the call with my mom and look at the pond from the shade of the cherry blossom tree. I could sit on the empty bench beside me, but I feel like standing. I think about the surprise I have for Tamaki, 'It will be quite similar to our childhood.' I close my eyes, taking deep breaths, and remember the days in Paris with Tamaki. The way we would play in the sandbox in my backyard; the way he acted like another mother whenever I would climb the trees or sit on the roof.

Hearing footsteps in the grass I open my eyes and turn my head. I see Haruhi standing with a scary-looking red head. Holding my chin up and smiling I call, "Hello, Haruhi. I'm glad you could meet me here." Facing the very muscular, devilish boy I add, "Pleased to make your acquaintance, I am Anna Michiko."

"This is Casanova," Haruhi smiles, "he's going to help us separate the Hitachiin twins."

"Thank you, I greatly appreciate it." I smile at Casanova.

"You're welcome," he looks down. I can see his face turning a light shade of pink, "it's Kasanoda, by the way, not Casanova."

"I'm sorry, I didn't-"

"I-it's okay!" Kasanoda lifts his head up and nervously scratches the back of his head, "everyone messes it up, I'm used to it."

I smile at him and nod to let him know I understand. Haruhi looks at Kasanoda and hands him a blue piece of paper and a green one. "Give the blue one to Hikaru and the green one to Kaoru." Kasanoda nods then quickly walks away.

After Kasanoda gets out of sight, I look at Haruhi, "How will he know the difference between Hikaru and Kaoru?"

"He won't," Haruhi smiles, "that's why both letters say the exact same thing. The only difference is that there's a code that only Kaoru will know."

I look at Haruhi for a moment, considering how that will work. I eventually smile and nod, "Should we wait, then?"

Haruhi shakes her head, "No, it's okay. Kaoru will find your place."

I nod again then start walking to the back of the school, "The car is this way."

The car ride is silent, but nice. When I pointed out a black Mercedes, Haruhi looked confused but then she gave me a reassuring smile and a shrug. As we approach the gates to my house I look at her and notice she's gawking at it. I want to ask her if something's wrong, but instead decide to keep my mouth shut and look out the window.

"Miss," our driver opens the door for us.

"Merci," I say as I get out after Haruhi. "Come on," I turn towards Haruhi, "this is both of our first times here, and I would like to see the inside."

Haruhi looks at me and asks, "I knew you were new here but I didn't realize you were literally new here. And what did you say to your driver?"

"Hm? Oh, my jet arrived this morning and my parents took me straight to Ouran. And," I begin as I walk towards the house, " I told him thank you."

Haruhi follows behind me and I admire the four story home my parents bought. It looks like a building from the sixteenth century. The windows are old and vines climb the yellow-brown bricks to the dark brown roof. I notice gardeners tending to the rose bushes that are growing around the house, along with various trees surrounding the yard. There's a cobblestone pathway that leads to the giant dark brown doors from the street.

When we reach the doors, a man opens the door. "Miss Michiko and guest, welcome to The Michiko Family Mansion. I am Osamu, your left-hand."

"Thank you," I say as I walk into the house, "it is a pleasure to meet you, Osamu." Haruhi nods at him and follows behind me. Looking around, I see two staircases - one on the left and one on the right - and a door between both staircases at the bottom.

The man closes the door behind us then walks quickly to the door directly in front of us. Before he opens the door, he turns and says, "Miss Michiko, this is the library. Your father was doing research in here and told me to lead you both in here as soon as you arrived."

"Of course," I walk towards the library, "Haruhi, before we go in, I want to tell you my father is a bit eccentric."

Haruhi smiles, "That's fine, Anna."

I smile back at her and walk into the library, past Osamu - who just opened the door for us. I pause and take in the room before me. A railing makes me stop five feet from the door, two staircases curve downwards into a room the size of an American football stadium. Books cover every wall. A desk sits in the back of the room, in front of a fireplace. A globe stands on a small table in the center of the room. Pillows and bean bag chairs are scattered around the floor. I walk down the right staircase and notice my father is sitting at the lone desk, reading a newspaper by fire light.

I clear my throat, loud enough that my father looks up. "Anna! You're home! How was your first day of school?" He rushes over to meet us at the bottom of the stairs. Looking behind me, he adds, "This must be your new friend. Pleased to meet you, I'm Anna's father, Akio."

Haruhi bows politely and says, "I'm Haruhi, Mr. Michiko."

"No need for formalities, young lad. Akio is fine." My dad smiles at Haruhi then quickly grabs me into a giant hug. "My darling daughter, home at last. Come, let me show you around."

I pull away from my dad before he squeezes me tighter, "please, father. We have a lot of work to do, and I'd actually like to get some done."

"Of course," my dad looks at me with sad eyes then walks up the stairs, "come on, I'll show you the arts room."

"How did you-"

"I know everything, darling daughter."

I sigh then motion for Haruhi to follow him. We walk back up the staircase and out of the library. When we walk into the entrance hall, my dad takes a left up a flight of stairs and through a new hall.

"And this is when-" I pause when my door opens. "Hello, Kaoru." I was sitting on the large table my father called the drawing desk, with Haruhi, explaining how we can get my plan to work. "Come on in. We're just getting some things ready. I was just telling Haruhi what we could do."

Kaoru walks in, closing the door behind himself. He peers over my shoulder, looking at the diagram I drew with a labelled time sequence. "You put a lot of thought into this, didn't you?" Kaoru takes a quick glance at me, his compliment makes me blush.

"Well, I think that I need to apologize for how I've acted and this will be the best way to get their approval." Haruhi tells Kaoru what I told her so far before I finish telling them the rest of my plan. "So," I pause, looking at them both, "what do you think?"

"It's gonna be hard getting the others into it without telling Tamaki, especially Honey, but I think we can make it work." Haruhi was nodding.

I look to Kaoru. He scans the diagram a few times, sending me quick glances, then says, "I think that will work."

"Great! Now all we need to do is to figure out what to do for Hikaru." I look at Kaoru expectantly and Haruhi nods in agreement.

"Let me handle that," Kaoru turns to face Haruhi, "I will need you to distract Hikaru. I'll tell him I want him to take you on another date."

"Another one?" Haruhi and I say at the same time. I look at her, seeing the puzzlement on her face makes me even more confused, "Don't tell me you didn't know."

"This wouldn't be the first time." Haruhi admits, and scratches the back of her head. An exhausted sigh escapes as she lets herself slump.

Kaoru faces me, and I look at him. "Anna, I will need you to stand in the garden, looking prettier than usual." He blushes as he reveals the compliment in the command. "I'm gonna set the scene, so Anna, be in the garden right after school tomorrow. We should do everything tomorrow, which means we have to move the club into another room.'

"Oh no." Haruhi sighs and covers her face.

"What's wrong?" I walk over to her and place my hand on her back.

She ignores me and looks to Kaoru, "what are we gonna do about Kyoya? He runs the whole thing."

"Anna, how would you like to come with me to visit Kyoya?"

Kyoya's estate was smaller than I expected. I knew he has two older brothers and an older sister, making him the youngest of the Ootori siblings, and I also knew his family was very popular in the health care business, so I thought their estate would be a lot larger than it was. I follow Kaoru to the glass doors of his white, semi-rounded estate. Before we left for Kyoya's estate, Kaoru told me to change into an orange coral or lavender dress if I had one. So I changed into a lavender corset that had coral lace embroidered into it and diamonds sewn along the hem with a long, silky, orange skirt with lavender, white, and pink flowers sewn into it. Then Kaoru had his driver drop Haruhi off at her place before we went to Kyoya's.

As we walk inside I glance around, admiring all the open space. Everything is so polished, clean, organized. I'm amazed at the setting before me. Kaoru stops in a room with gray carpet and a black couch facing a grand piano. The opposite wall is entirely made of glass, so I look past Kaoru to see the last rays of sun set. "Beautiful, isn't it?" I hear a voice behind me. Turning around I'm staring just below the chest of a boy a few years older than me.

"There you are, Kyoya. Thank you for allowing us here." Kaoru turns and bows at Kyoya. When I look up into his face, I realize he's focused on me.

But he replies smoothly to Kaoru. "It is my pleasure. What can I do the honor of your visit?"

"Go ahead Anna, tell him." Kaoru encourages.

I look back at Kaoru, one eyebrow raised. Turning back towards Kyoya, I state simply, "we would like for a rearrange of the host club location for a day. But we don't want the hosts to know why. Well, except for you and Kaoru of course, but there is also an exception of Haruhi."

"Haruhi is involved in this too?"

"Yes, Ootori Kyoya-senpai." I bow slightly.

"No need for formalities, Kyoya will do." Kyoya walks towards Kaoru and they talk in low voices. I decide to head towards the piano, when I notice more instruments lined against the wall.

"Kyoya-sen?" I look back at Kyoya, who is now writing some notes.

"Yes, Anna?" He doesn't look away from his notebook.

"May I have a look at your instruments?"

"Don't ask, Anna. Use what you'd like." Kyoya waves me off.

I head towards the wall and look at the instruments. I pick up the violin and start to play Lindsey Stirling's "Electric Daisy". I close my eyes and let the music come to me. I open my eyes and glide towards the glass, staring outside at the dark sky, allowing my mind to relax and allow my fingers to play for me. Absentmindedly I switch to playing "Shadows", also by Lindsey Stirling. I walk back to the instrument wall and finish the song, putting the violin back in its place.

As I look for another instrument, I immediately notice of the lack of sound. I don't hear any murmurs, no scratching of pen on paper. I glance over my shoulder to see Kaoru gaping at me, and Kyoya with a blank stare.

"I didn't know you know how to play the violin." Kaoru whispers. His voice carries through the empty room.

I turn fully around, completely aware of the heat rising to my cheeks. "My aunt hired private tutors for me not only in academics and etiquette, but in many of the arts. I can play just about any instrument, speak many languages fluently, and have starred in several plays along with musicals."

"What can't you do?"

"I am incapable of drawing free-hand." I smile gently at Kaoru, who has reclaimed his composure. "As often as my aunt has tried, it has not worked. I have no creativity of my own, except for maybe writing."

No one says anything for awhile. Kyoya breaks the silence. "Incredible," he says simply. "Well, that about does it. Kaoru, you and Hikaru will accompany Tamaki in setting up at the park. Your plans should be set."

"Thank you very much, Kyoya-sen." I bow gratefully.

"Anytime." Before I walk out the door behind Kaoru, Kyoya grabs my arm, pulls me close, and whispers, "you are also welcome by whenever you'd like to play any instrument your heart desires."

"Thank you, Kyoya." I smile nervously and catch up to Kaoru.
