Hachiman's bandage was fully removed by the nurse and Heaven Canceller inspected it.
"Well Hikigaya-kun,you've made a remarkable recovery. The scar will stay but you're hand will function normally. Try to not apply any pressure on it for another week"
Hachiman nodded.
"Alright. Thank you Doctor"
The Doctor took a moment to take a glance at another patient's medical report.
"If anything happens,you can come..."
"You have a moment,Doctor?"
Heaven Canceller raised an eyebrow in surprise. He had figured Hikigaya was a non-talkative type but he had been wrong before.
"I have a lot of patients Hikigaya. You'll have to make it quick."
The nurse left the room and closed the door to the Doctor's office to give them some privacy.
"If it's something about my other patients then I'm sorry,patient confidentiality is..."
Hachiman held up his hand to stop him.
"It's not like that Doctor."
The Doctor stayed quiet,urging him to go on.
After a pause,Hachiman asked
"What do you know about Level Upper."
Heaven Canceller's face was unreadable.
"There are patients here related to it. Am I correct?"
He said it not as a question but as confirmation.
