NO PLACE LIKE HOME
Hachiman relaxed on the couch while watching T.V in his parents home in Chiba.
He didn't think he would say this but
"It's good to be home"
Hachiman was a boy from Chiba at heart and it was nice to be away from the craziness for a while.
He heard Komachi footsteps as she passed the living room.
"Onii,I'm heading out for a bit. Don't wait for me,Okay?"
Hachiman noticed her little sister seemed more mature around him.
No more being cute saying 'Onii-chan!' or something like that.
Did his time away in Academy City made her more distant from her? Had she given up on acting as his cute little sister anymore?
Well so what? He's always going to spoil her!
"You're going alone? I'll come with you."
Komachi shot him down with a smile.
"No thanks. I'll be meeting up with Taishi-kun. He's the one buying stuff after all!"
Hachiman felt a jolt on hearing that name.
'Taishi-kun? That insect from Komachi's class? He better not have any thoughts on my precious Komachi!'
A part of him was impressed though that through her charms she had practically wrapped that boy around his fingers.
Just like the kids in his middle school did to him...
He shook his head to get rid of his cringeworthy memories.
Anyways she would be able to handle him. Komachi would be able to go far in life.
"Well, take care. Your brother loves you."
Komachi snorted.
"Now you're being gross."
Hachiman's mind came to a screeching halt.
'Why did you have to hurt me like that? Zero points to you!'
She walked away and Hachiman calmed down. It seemed like the rest of this life would be smooth sailing.
