So, I reread my prologue and realized how bad it is compared to the rest. Better now, than halfway through, I guess! I hope you guys like the new one better!

CHIT CHAT WITH MICKEY LIBLE TRANSCRIPT

SPECIAL GUEST : JULIE GRAY

MICKEY : Good evening, everybody, and welcome to Chit Chat with Mickey Lible!

(cue applause)

MICKEY : So tonight, we have an exceptional guest with us, someone who I daresay may be more hip than I am, but, I doubt it.

(cue laughter)

MICKEY : Well, they probably come in a close second. Ladies, Gentlemen and deranged lunatics who like to hang around the lobby of my show looking for croissants - I mean, seriously, find your own - I give you Julie Gray!

(cue applause)

(enter from door B)

JULIE : I'm ecstatic to be here, Mickey.

MICKEY : As am I ecstatic to have you, Julie. So, is it true that your fifth and final book will be coming out this month?

JULIE : That's right, Mickey. You'd ought to find it in any bookstore. September 23rd.

MICKEY : Any fans in the house?

(audience cheers)

MICKEY : Well, I'll be waiting along with everyone else. But today, I want to talk about something different. How did you get here?

JULIE : Get here? Well, funny story about that..you see, my cab broke down, so I had to-

MICKEY : No, how did you get to where you are today? I mean, you've managed to do before seventeen what most adults can't achieve. When I was seventeen, my biggest problems where whether I could get the new Jordans in time, or if the girl I stared at in bio would say yes if I asked her to prom, and no, Mandy, I still haven't forgiven you.

(audience laughs)

JULIE : Well, it really comes with finding something you enjoy and making something out of it. I've never wanted to live a boring life.

MICKEY : And I'm pretty sure the gigantic fanbase for The Darkest Hollows agrees with you. Now, onto your music career. You've been writing songs, correct?

JULIE : I've always loved that industry.

MICKEY : And you can dance, and sing. Have you ever thought about picking up a career in music?

JULIE : It sounds awesome, but I would much prefer producing music.

MICKEY : And I have no doubt you'll get there. How do you feel about The Darkest Hollows being turned into a movie?

JULIE : Thrilled. I cannot believe that an idea that came to be while I was forced to clean my room is now becoming a movie.

MICKEY : We all know how they want you to play your main character. Do you think you'll do it?

JULIE : Possibly. But, probably not. As much as I love Cate, I don't really think I cut it as an actress. Nor do I particularly want to.

MICKEY : Huh. Well, most people would really want you to take that role.

JULIE : I know.

MICKEY : I do think that we're out of time! I'll say it again, this has been awesome, Julie.

JULIE : Thank you, Mickey. Have a good night, everybody!

(audience cheers)

(cut to black)

I think that was better, and starts the story in a better way. Thanks, all of you!
