It had been a habit now for Clovis to visit Nunnally at Ashford's Academy under the pretense of chatting with Ruben Ashford about the old times whilst glimpsing at the beauty known as Vivian. She was otherworldly in beauty and has little to say, yet when she sings it nearly breaks your heart when enraptured by her melodies.

But today was the day the man called Leon would give them an update on Lelouch's situation in the other world and Vivian would be relaying it to them.

"...He said Lelouch would be back in a week on our side. It would be nearly a year where Lelouch is at." Vivian replied as Clovis sank in his seat.

His little brother, the one whose been exiled alongside Nunnally to Ar-Japan he corrected himself, has acquired power beyond human understanding and is involved with a mission to save their world from being destroyed by some terrible calamity.

He had a hunch on what it was, for he noticed this pattern for some time now and a key component to it. On a set of islands that were after careful examining of the past maps of Japan revealed these islands were deliberately removed and forgotten. He had pondered why as he recognize that on those islands was a set of ruins, older than their current history and that their father the Emperor of Britannia was invested in them and were the main reason why many places were invaded.

Clovis may not be as smart as Lelouch or Schneizel but he was not a complete fool. Those ruins contain incredible power, and a girl recently discovered by his men had a connection to those ruins. He ordered that she be contained for future questioning and that she is to be kept alive and unharmed until he heard of Lelouch's current situation. He planned on having his brother meet the girl and see if their powers are somehow connected in some way. If there was, then tests will be conducted so he can provide his brother an army for the inevitable fights ahead.

Giant monsters were one thing, but against Britannia itself if their father was the one responsible for the end of the world was another thing. With news of Behemoth globally announced, the whole world was in a state of frenzy. Lock-downs in all Areas and curfews were immediate by decree of the Emperor and other ruling countries were in similar states due to this intense fear.

Getting resources was hard but not manageable, for now he was beginning some reform projects to aid the El-Japanese. For Nunnally was vouching for these people and their kindness during their stay and the fact they made friends with one of the locals was a positive sign that these people weren't bad as portrayed by propaganda. He was going to return a favor to these people for caring for his siblings by making it a bit better for them little by little.

They may not get their home free from occupation, but they could at least live better than their current state of things.

*One Week Later-Britannia*

Lelouch opened his eyes slowly as he felt utterly exhausted; the fight against Reinforce, the program inside the Book of Darkness was one tough opponent even with the help from Nanoha, Fate and the TSAB that relic was a nightmare. If it wasn't for the god Indra deciding to grant him a boon then Earth would have been consumed by the mad programming. His time in that world was over and here he was back in his own world tied to a dead tree in a wasteland.

His armor deactivated, his strength exhausted and the heat of the sun burning him.

Whom were his captors exactly? The native tribes that lived here before the colonization, in one world where Britannia did not exist they were called the Native Americans, but here: Ones. Ones were technically the first to be conquered by Britannia in its earliest years and its many tribes had become one in desperation to survive against their tyrant overlords. An agreement with the royal crown was made, as long as they leave each other alone, no bloodshed was needed and can live their lives away from any cities.

They rarely show themselves, and when they do, it's usually for selling their wares to avid collectors and herbal knowledge.

But that does not mean there are those who still bare hatred for Britannians. As one such rogue here had done by tying the prince to this tree.

His dark eyes glared at Lelouch with dark contempt and although his English was broken and incomplete, what he wanted was clear as day. Admit that he was weak and then be killed. Lelouch snarled at the notion, he survived the Vampire of Britannia's arena, battled the Behemoth in all of its might, faced of a mentally damaged mage who was an SS ranked threat, the Book of Darkness itself that was capable of devouring a planet if left unchecked and this rogue bastard and disgrace of his people's heritage had the gall to make him admit he was weak!? He refused of course and the man left him to burn in the blistering heat.

As night fell and the respite from the sun came another problem...wolves. Somehow a pack of wolves thrived in this wasteland, probably from one of the nearby mountains where hints of green dressed it. They looked intelligent and from Lelouch's observations around the area this is a feeding ground on dead people.

It took one glare at the alpha wolf to stay their fangs as man and beast locked eyes with each other. It lasted for ten minutes before the wolf turned, leading its pack away back to the mountain.

Thus a cycle began. At the start of sunrise the One with his broken English would try to make Lelouch admit he was weak only for Lelouch to snarl back at him before leaving. During the day the sun's heat would burn his skin as he began to slowly become dehydrated, by nightfall the wolves come to examine their potential meal only to receive the same defiant glare from the prince.

Days have passed and Lelouch's body had begun to look thin from dehydration and starvation. The One once in a while bring a fruit and eat it in front of him as a taunt; Lelouch would not take the bait, not when Nunnally was waiting for him back home in Japan.

While the days of being bound had weakened him physically, Lelouch's mind had honed itself as it developed a level of telepathy with his growing powers. He sensed Leon very far from where he was and was slowly closing the gap with each passing day. He needed to last long enough, break free from these bindings and then head home.

His body was thin enough that his limbs could slip loose, but first he had a fiend to take care of first, in the most savage way possible.

"Say it...You, weak." the One he had taunted and the emaciated boy slowly began to move his cracked, dry lips into a raspy whisper. The man drew nearer and lent his ear closer to the head, hoping to hear this Britannian's admission to weakness and end his pathetic life here and now.

"This...wolf...still has teeth...!" Lelouch growled out and with a savage roar lunged his head to the man's exposed neck and violently tore the flesh out as a beautiful spray of crimson decorated the dirt.

With the deed done, Lelouch slipped from his bindings and slowly up righted himself before looking to see more of the natives walking towards him, and one, with a headdress of noble feathers-the chieftain looked at the fallen man and to the face of the bloodstained boy and spoke few words as a few of his men went not for their comrade, but for Lelouch instead.

He did not have the strength to fight as they took him, leaving their dead kin to the wolves now feasting on his corpse.

He woke inside a tipi, wrapped in blankets of pelts and fur and the smell of burnt herbs. The flap was opened as the chieftain and a few women walked beside him, each with a bowl of food and a jug of water. Without a word they present it to the prince that eyed it skeptically.

"Eat it Lelouch, the chieftan has communed with the spirits of nature. You are deemed an ally by them and you earned their respect from your trial."

The entity he forged his pack had assured him well as he noticed his prosthetic arm was missing. With his only remaining hand he began to eat under the watching eyes of the chieftain until every last piece was finished. Then the chieftain sat at the prince's side and looked to him with a calm yet wise expression.

"I've heard of you, exiled prince." he spoke, no hostility, no anger, just a serene calmness that made the wary prince flinch in alarm. "Betrayed by family, sent to die only to survive. You seek to end this cruelty they bring with them as you have seen." he had continued as he studied Lelouch's physical expressions and the emotional mask he wore.

"The spirits claim you are the bane of your home; as a spirit of vengeance of those wronged by the actions of your father and siblings. Tell me child, how far is the vengeance you seek travel to."

"...I wish to see the Britannia that stands today crumbled and a newer, more kinder version in its place and justice to those that need it." the prince answered. The chieftain nodded his head in understanding of the dream Lelouch pursued and pulled something out of his robes. It was his original prosthetic and also something similar to Lelouch's prosthetic arm, it was made of wood, had several beaded talismans wrapped around it and the hints of herbs in it.

"This new arm is our gift of faith in you, along with a name to be known by our people that an outsider for the first time in generations is part of our people to know your tale as a man with an iron will and ferocity of a great protector spirit that punished the wicked...Iron Wolf." the chief announced as Lelouch carefully took both his old prosthetic and the new one with surprise.

"Eat and rest well Iron Wolf, for your friend will be here in few days time. Let my healers help and you will be prepared for you journey." the leader told him before making his way out. Lelouch took that to heart and tried on the new arm as he felt his power surge into it. When it did Lelouch felt a song, a hymn that spoke in tones he could not describe. He laid on his back and closed his eyes, hearing the songs of the spirits sing in harmony as Lelouch was embraced by the elements.

During the stay Lelouch adapted well to the people, to learn their tongue, of customs and traditions and the sacred practices of shamanism and its role to the tribes. When he tried a bit of shamanism by communing with the spirits with the aid of his arm they heeded his call and all could watch with awe and wonder as the spirits of nature sang the song of the natives ancestors. His name of Iron Wolf was known to many in the united tribes as they treated him with respect reverence only the shamans had.

Just like with Japan and its culture, Lelouch was growing fond of both the culture and its people that would have been known as Native Americans if not for Washington's Rebellion failing. When Britannia fell, he would ensure these people would have true freedom instead of living in isolation. These people deserved living without the fear of being slaughtered like animals by his own people and to share their own wonders without persecution or prejudice.

By the time Leon had finally arrived Lelouch had already regained a decent portion of his weight, but will still need to eat more to regain his lost strength. Lelouch wore a poncho made for him by the chief as they bid each other farewell and promises to each other. Lelouch would see the old Britannia ruled by his father destroyed and a new kinder one in its place, and the newly named Tribes of the Americas (something Lelouch decided they should be known as) would be welcomed with open arms and friendship. The people believed him for the spirits told that he would keep his word and they await the day he fulfilled his goal.

"Kid, what the hell happened to you to win their trust? They hate outsiders!" Leon asked as he drove the RV he rigged together across the wastes.

"Let's just say this wolf taught them a few things about surprises." Lelouch mused with a knowing smile.

/Next Time\\

Zero shook his head as he regained conscious, looking down to see he was restrained on some sort of operating table before noticing that a scientist with a crazed look on his face charged at him. Snapping one his arms free, he grabbed the person by the head and smashed it on the table as blood splattered out of the crushed skull.

"Heh, heh, heh. You've returned." The EU general mused from his seat as he observed Zero from the cameras.

"The only flesh and blood to walk between dimensions." the man continued as he got up and walked away as on the camera, Zero loaded a shotgun. "Between our world...and theirs."

Leon growled as he fired his pistol at the infected soldier as Zero blew off the head of another with his shotgun as something in the water was swimming towards them.

Storms gathered as Zero prepared his next attack, lightning dancing between his fingers as his fury rose at the ones responsible for this mess.

[Fight]

Leon piloted the jury-rigged Knightmare Frame as it fired countless missiles and bullets at the oncoming horde from with anger.

[Like]

Zero punched his opponent, sending them flying as three others charged right at him as he activated his chainsaw up with the intent to rip and tear them apart.

[Hell]

A terrifying being rose from the waters, its gigantic body made current ships look like toys to its size as Zero was fighting hordes of humanoid creatures as one grabbed his arm. He responded by jumping in the air, dragging it with him and shooting it in the chest at point-blank range.

{Next Arc}-Isles of Birthrights-

"Can't get a break can't we?" Leon mused as Lelouch smirked before donning his Zero armor as the two began killing their enemies side by side.
