Man Wol ran as fast as she can weaving through the trees trying to lose them. The guards were behind her, swords drawn. Cursing to herself, she glanced back wishing she had her sword anything to fight back. She didn't think this through when she decided to steal from someone wealthy, but it was an opportunity she couldn't miss. But then she was caught by surprise when the guards surrounded her. The only thing left to do was to flee empty-handed.
As she was running, one of the guards caught up to her, grabbing her shoulder and dropping her to the ground. She cried out falling onto the dirt below. Soon she had a bunch of guys around her.
"Now I got you." The guard yelled grabbing her wrists to pin them on top of her head. She started to fight back by trying to get out of his grasp and kicking her legs, but he overpowered her. All the guard did was laugh as he tightens his hold on her.
"Let go of me!" She cried out. "You bastard!"
"She's feisty." He said to one of the other guards. She lifted her head and spat in his face. That action made him angry. He lifted his hand slapping her in the face. She was shocked, feeling her right cheek sting. He lifted his hand ready to slap her again when a hand stopped him. Man Wol looked up to see an angry Chung Myung. He pulled his hand so far back that he got up screaming in pain.
"That is enough." He said pushing him down. He took out his sword pointing it at his chest. "Don't you dare touch her." Man Wol was relieved that he got here in time. The guard got up again staring at Chung Myung noticing what he was wearing then sneered at him.
"You may have to wait your turn, captain." He said annoyed but then his eyes widen. He suddenly spits out blood, his whole body grew limp and he fell to the floor. At the last moment, she had managed to find a sword on the ground slashing him on the back. The other guards seemed to have gotten scared and ran off.
Chung Myung looked at her in surprise. She dropped the sword breathing hard. He almost ran to her and took her into his arms embracing her.
"Are you okay?" He asked. Man Wol nodded then encircled her arms around him. She didn't know what would have happened to her if he didn't appear. Buring her face further into his chest she tried not to think about it.
"Thank you for saving me." She managed to say. He broke the embrace to look at her face. The red mark still visible on her cheek.
"That bastard.." He grumbled placing his hand on her swollen cheek, caressing it with his thumb. She looked at his lips then locked eyes with him. Her heart began to beat fast as he closed his eyes then started leaning down. Her eyes closed waiting for his lips but it never came. She opened her eyes again ready to ask what was wrong.
When abruptly Man Wol felt drops on her head. She looked up finally noticing it was very cloudy. The rain then started to come down hard.
Running to take cover, both of them had managed to find shelter under a house roof. As they waited for the rain to stop, He found himself gazing at her as she looked on at the rain. She smiled then reached out her hand, her eyes lit up as she let the raindrops hit her palm. He thought she looked beautiful. His hand stretched out and caressed her wet hair.
"Man wol-ah" He didn't know if it was him calling her name or at his touch but he could see her eyes look up with surprise.
"Hmm?" She answered turning to him. He took a step closer then gently placed his hands on her face, caressing her cheeks as he did earlier. She gazed at him startled at what he was doing. Chung Myung smiled softly before he bent his head down brushing his lips against hers, she reciprocated by closing her eyes and placing her hands on his chest her fingers clutching his robes, his hands went to her waist as their kiss deepened. She felt trembles throughout her body as she felt him pull her in tighter. His hands left her waist to run them up and down her small back.
When they broke apart, both were breathing heavily. He leaned in and kissed her lips once more. She smiled shyly then placed her hands on his cheeks before stealing another kiss. He laughed softly then reached for her hand intertwining it with his. She looked at their hands smiling then stared out at the rain feeling happy.
"Are you going to be okay?" He asked. "Do you want me to walk you home?" She shook her head. The rain finally was letting down and it started to become dark. Even though she didn't want to, she had to go home.
"I'll be okay." she replied. "I don't think they are coming back. You should go back." He grabbed her hand pulling her closer then placed it over his heart.
"I'm going on a mission." He leaned forward to kiss her forehead. "Please don't get into trouble or else this heart will not take it." She smiled softly making no promises but she will try.
Man Wol walked home that day with a smile on her face. Ever since they encountered each other when her clan tried to steal from Princess Song Hwa. She couldn't help but think about him. It was at that moment that she knew she fell for him.
She knew they were from different worlds. She was a bandit and he was the captain of the guard. But when they were together they just didn't care for any of that. Away from everyone else, they were just Man Wol and Chung Myung. He would sometimes leave his post and spend time together, drinking or sometimes enjoy Yeon Woo play music. He also taught her how to write her name and taught Yeon Woo how to sword fight. They would spend time alone at their favorite spot looking up at the stars and they would just fall asleep on each other's shoulders holding hands. Yeon Woo would see this and make fun of her afterward.
Early the next day when she into the marketplace, she was on the hunt to steal and get something to eat. She had successfully stolen from two noblemen and was heading to eat something when she stumbled across a pair of women who looked like they were of nobility that was gossiping. The ladies were standing in front of a stand of hairpins and fabric. They were talking loud enough that she was sure everyone can hear them. Man Wol thought they were perfect to steal from. She went behind them ready when she heard Chung Myung's name. She suddenly froze in her place.
"I can't believe after a long time, Chung Myung is going to marry the princess." The lady said excitedly. Man Wol's eyes widen, her heart sink to her stomach. Was she hearing wrong? She moved closer to hide behind a wooden pillar next to her so she can hear their conversation.
"Your nephew is so lucky. He is marrying into royalty." said the other woman. Man Wol felt like it was getting harder to breathe. The other lady who is his aunt nodded. "You think he will stop seeing her?"
"Now he has no excuse for being with that thief and her clan. It's like she's bewitched him." She was shocked that they knew about her. Now it made sense that was someone was looking at them from afar.
Suddenly she saw as a couple stopped just to congratulate her. The aunt gratefully invited them to the wedding. Just the thought of him marrying and sleeping with another woman was too much. Her hand quickly up to her cheeks wiping the tears away that were running down. She looked around to see if anyone had noticed anything.
Thoughts of their time together flooded her mind. Was this a mistake or was he playing her for a fool all this time?
"Hey, Wol-ah" said someone from behind. But she didn't respond she just kept looking on. It wasn't until he put his hand on her arm that she broke from her thoughts to look up. Yeon Woo was next to her. He grew worried when he saw her tear-stricken face. "What's wrong? Why are you crying?" He asked placing his hand on her shoulder, a look of concern was on his face. Not taking it anymore, She tearfully looked at him then shook her head walking away leaving him confused. His head turned to the ladies as they continued talking loud unaware of anything.
Man Wol started to walk toward the forest when Yeon Woo caught up with her. For a while, they were silent as they walked amongst the trees. "Aren't you going to tell me why you are crying?" He asked. Man Wol looked away from him and crossed her arms. "Do you know who those ladies are?" She shook her head, then looked up at the sky.
"Wol-ah, what's wrong?" He asked grabbing her arm stopping her from walking. "You always tell me everything." She knew he wasn't going to give up till she tells him.
Man Wol took a deep breath then began to tell him everything that she heard. Yeon Woo was attentive to everything surprised hoping it wasn't true not after what Chung Myung told him how felt about her. He was about to tell her that but decided it was him who is supposed to tell her.
"Why don't you go talk to him?" Yeon Woo asked finally arriving at the river bank. But Man Wol sadly shook her head. "Why are you so stubborn? Just admit it you two have feelings for each other." But Man Wol didn't answer, her gaze was fixed at the water. "This has to be untrue"
"I don't think it is" she said not looking at him. "That lady that you saw was his aunt. There were people who was congratulating her. The princess always had wanted him and now it looks like she's getting him." She reaches down to grab a rock then threw it at the water. "Anyways I didn't think he's going to be around us forever. He still has duties." Yeon Woo shook his head not believing what he was hearing.
"But I don't think he wants this. This is all so sudden." He replied trying to defend him. Even though he didn't want it, he couldn't go against a royal order.
Man Wol glanced at him then placed her hand on his shoulder. "Yeon Woo, it's too late." She was holding back tears again. "I can't stop it. I don't want to put everyone's life in danger."
"So that's it? Is this the end for both of you?" She nodded sadly. Even though it hurts she knows she had to let him go.
Before returning home, she told him she wanted to be alone for a while but not before she asked for her wine bottle that she always drank from. Yeon Woo got up from the ground and went to get it for her. As he began to walk away he glances at her sadly. If only she knew he thought. I hope he tells her before it's too late.
After he had left, Man Wol didn't know exactly how long she was sitting there staring at the water. It has gotten dark and the moon was shining very bright. The fireflies were swarming around as if they wanted to comfort her. Clutching the bottle in her hands she took a sip out of it determined to make the pain go away. The wine tasted bitter on her lips. Her eyes were swollen from crying and she felt her heartache. Was this the gods trying to tell her something? That they didn't belong together? As much as she was in denial of the entire thing she couldn't help but feel heartbroken.
She took another sip tasting the same bitterness again. Glancing at the bottle she poured a little bit on the sand next to her. A clear liquid came out instead of the usual one.
"Water?" She said out loud then started to laugh softly. Yeon Woo must have replaced it with water just in case she did anything crazy. Even though she held her liquor well, there were times when she had gone a little overboard. Sometimes he knew her too much. She placed the bottle next to her and stares into the water. She wanted to forget everything but it was far too fresh. She fell asleep replaying the moment she heard it.
Weeks seemed to pass and despite what had happened, Man Wol seem to miss him. He was gone on missions and he hasn't written to her. She started to wonder if he was okay. If he was hurt somewhere. Her mind drifted to other reasons too but she needed to get it past her mind. It was now nothing that matters to her. To her, Chung Myung was to become a total stranger from now on.
As she went back to her usual duties, even the little things she would do would remind her of him. A little part of her wanted to be caught by him so she can at least once see him again but then again it was going to be too much if they encounter each other again.
After a long day, Man Wol walked to where she lived. As she walked she felt like someone is following her. She turned a few times to find no one was behind her. Thinking she must be going crazy she shook her head then continued to go on.
It was a long walk but she made it to her small abandoned house. It was far away from everything and everyone, where no one can bother her. She looked around one last time to see if anyone had followed then walked into the door.
Inside next to the wall of the room lay a small bed. She dropped everything she had in her arms onto a broken table. Letting out a sigh she then took off her hairpin and unwrapped the piece of clothing that was holding her hair up. Her dark hair tumbled past her shoulders.
She stared at the stuff on the table among the things she got there was a knife and fabric that she can easily sell. She suddenly remembered that once she got caught and Chung Myung had to save her. Something that she didn't want him to do but it was the only way.
Suddenly she hissed in pain, looking at her hand, there was a cut that formed on her palm.
While she was walking, she spotted a little boy being punished for stealing food. The old man was about to whip him when she stopped him. He got angry and took out a knife almost stabbing her but she grabbed the knife cutting her hand.
Damn that old man she thought That's what I get for saving someone.
"You know you look beautiful with your hair down," said a voice from behind. She gasped then quickly turned to find Chung Myung standing there next to the door with his arms crossed. He wasn't wearing his usual royal attire. He was dressed in just a dark blue hanbok.
Was he following her the whole time? She felt somewhat relieved that he was still intact. It was hard for her not to hug him and tell him how much she missed him. The problem was that he had a big smirk on his face, it made Man Wol angry just by looking at him. How can he stand there with a smile on his face, while her heart was breaking?
"What are you doing here?" She asked trying to hide her injury from his view. "How did you know I was.." she trailed off when the realization hit her on who may have told him.
"It wasn't Yeon Woo." He knew that's exactly what she was thinking. She glared at him. "I saw you leaving and decided to follow you. You must been have embarrassed to show me your place. It's not that bad" He glanced around the house and nodded in approval.
It was true Man Wol never wanted to show him where she lived not only because of how it looked but she didn't want anyone else to follow him and know her hideout.
"You never answered my question," She said growing impatient with him. He uncrossed his arms then walked toward her. "I wanted to see you because I missed you." He held out his arms wanting to hug her. He was confused about why she was acting so cold with him. She took a step back, her hands grabbing the edge of the table behind her which hit her injured hand, her face twisted in pain. He placed his arms down then looked down at her hand.
"You're hurt." He reached down and grabbed her wrist. Just a touch of his made her heart jump. She looked away as he examined her wound.
I missed you too She thought. Why are you here though?
"I'm okay. It's just a small cut" She said brushing it off, pulling her hand away from his. "You saw me, you can leave now" She pointed toward the door but when he didn't move she walked past him to show him out, but he grabbed her arm, pulling her back to face him. "Don't you have your princess to run to?" She snaps.
Her words took him by surprise. His grip softens on her arm as she angrily looked at him. He had a hunch she was going to find out sooner or later but he wanted to be the one to tell her first. Now he understood why she was angry with him. But he didn't want to think about that.
"Does that matter right now?" He answered back taking her other hand to guide her to the bed, sitting her down. He then went to grab something to bandage. She looked at him as he went to look for supplies. It was nice that he was worried about her like this even if it's a small cut. "How did you get hurt?" He asked sitting down next to her. Her breath hitched as his fingers reached for her hand and started to trace her palm examining the wound. She felt him draw closer to her. "It's a good thing it's not that deep" He felt her chest nervously raise and fall next to him. His own heart was beating hard thinking that something had happened to her.
Man Wol blinked a few times, then answered him quietly. "I..fought with one of the old guys and he attacked me with a knife. I wasn't trying to steal from him." She paused then scoffed at what she was saying. Why was she explaining herself to him?
What she should do was yell at him, tell him to go away and leave her alone, but she didn't say another word. She just let him hold her hand as he tried to bandage her wound. Man Wol nervously looked up at him then winched in pain as he wrapped the cloth around her small palm. She couldn't believe he was here with her. What if this a trap? Does she know that he's here? He finished bandaging her wound by tying the cloth. His eyes drifted up to stare into hers. Everything seemed to melt away as soon they glanced at each other, it felt like they were in their world.
"Are you going to go through with it?" She uttered. "Are you going to marry her?" He sighed not tearing away from her gaze. She looked at him, sadness was in her eyes. He didn't want her to find out this way but it was too late. She tore his gaze away from his, tears were filling her eyes. "I'm sure you will be happy with her." She whispered turning away. She felt like she was losing him yet there he was sitting in front of her.
"Man Wol-ah" he whispered making her look at him again. The way he said her name was enough to make her heart swell. He reached up to gently tuck her hair behind her ear, his fingers trailed to her cheeks, wiping her tears and stroking it. She sighed softly, her body shivering at his touch.
He pulled her towards him, his mouth descending to hers, urging her lips to the part beneath his. Unable to resist, she closes her eyes, her arms slipped around his neck as she responded eagerly to him, their kisses deepening. He placed his hand on the back of her head, his other hand on her waist. She moaned softly as his hand traveled to her back which made her move closer to him.
Chung Myung's hand left her head to reach down to undo her scarf from her neck letting it fall on the floor next to them. She felt his breath on her skin as he kissed down her ear to her neck making her hum. But she knew this was wrong. If they get caught it will be the end for them both. Her hand went to his chest to try to push him away but every time she tried she was just falling deeper. She couldn't think anymore as she responded to his kisses, her chest felt tight.
"Wait" she whispered pulling away. "What if she has someone following you? She will punish you if she finds out that you are with me" He leaned in to press their foreheads together. "I don't want you to get hurt because of me" He shook his head.
"She doesn't know where I am and I don't want to be found. The palace life is not for me. I want to be free and discover the outside. I just want to be with you. I love you, Man Wol"
Her breathing stopped and so did her heart at his confession. Was he willing to sacrifice everything just for her? Her eyes widen as she gazed at him. The words he said repeated in her head. She felt solace that she wasn't the only one that didn't want him to get married.
"What?" She whispered not believing it, she placed her hand on his cheek. He laughed softly grabbing her hand then kissing her injured palm.
He leaned down to capture her lips with his. She didn't question it anymore. All that mattered that he was here now. Feeling a bit bold, His hands went to untie her sash on her waist then slid one of the layers of clothes down her shoulders letting it fall on the floor. Man Wol felt like she was holding her breath as he ran his fingers down her arms as took off another layer. Only her underclothes were now separating them from skin contact. He looked at her unsure if to go on. He didn't want to do what she didn't want.
"Are you sure?" He asked. Man Wol smiled slowly nodding her head. At this moment all she wanted was to feel and be loved by him. Whatever consequences they would have to face will have to be dealt with later. She just wanted to savor this moment. Her gut feeling was that soon they were going to get discovered.
She reached down to untie the knot on his robe. He shed out of it, taking off the undershirt leaving him naked from the waist up. Her eyes trailed up and down his bare chest. Her fingers ran along his shoulders down his chest. She had wanted to touch him like this, to feel his bare skin against hers.
His skin was smooth, except for the battle scars that he had. She kissed his shoulder and neck before finding his lips again kissing him with such urgency that she felt her heart was going to explode.
Chung Myung broke the kiss and looked at her flushed face and swollen lips. She slowly opened her eyes to glance at him, her chest rose and fell with each breath. He pressed his hand on her cheek is hard like he felt that she was going to disappear.
"Please tell me you're not leaving me." She whispered.
"I'm not leaving your side ever again" He replied. His hands went to her chest feeling her soft breasts through her underclothes. She moaned as she felt herself leaning into his touch. He kissed down her neck, massaging each breast. Untying her undershirt, her shirt slid open as he dragged his lips down her chest till he took one of his nipples in his mouth. She felt some heat rise to her cheeks, as he took the thin layer off her body. He didn't fail to call her beautiful making her blush even more. His mouth continued to lick her nipple, his tongue teasing her as his other hand massaged the other. She tilted her head back, moaning.
Her hand drifted down to the front of his pants feeling his bulge. He groaned in response as she massaged it. Her hand went inside the hem of his pants, taking him fully in her hand, stroking it up and down. He moved his hips slightly as she moved to kiss him on the lips, her hand still buried in his pants. She loved how he moaned her name as she continued to touch him. He wanted her to keep going but he knew at this rate he wasn't going to last very long. He gently took her hand out of his pants.
"I want to make you feel good" he breathed.
He pushed her back towards the bed, his lips moved to her neck, his hands moving down over her body as she arched up against him. His lips trailed down her stomach, his hands reached to the hem of her pants.
She lifts her hips as he slowly slid the fabric down her thighs then her legs till it's completely off, throwing it to the side. Now she was completely naked in front of him. He stared in awe as he looked at her body.
"So beautiful." His hand glided up her legs to her inner thighs, A soft moan escapes Man Wol as his lips slid between her legs, finding her entrance. She closed her eyes opening her legs more as he began to tease her, his tongue slid inside her making her gasp.
She ran her hands into his hair urging him to continue. With a few licks more, he replaced his tongue with his finger carefully adding another finger in the process. His tongue kept pleasuring her nub. She whimpered from the sensation as his fingers curved up in her. He liked her sounds, how her body moved as he pleasured her. She placed her legs on his shoulders, one of her hands clutching the bedcovers next to her. He felt himself harden even more as her breath hitches, her thighs tighten around his head.
"Ah, Chung Myung" She whimpered, her hips moving feeling close. Her breathing was hard, her cheeks had flushed. Her back arched as her orgasm swept over her. Man Wol's eyes closed and her mouth opened in a groan.
A few seconds later she opened her eyes again covering her mouth with the back of her hand, her breath uneven. Not even when she's alone she had it this intense. She didn't notice as she was lying there recovering that he has taken off his pants leaving him as naked as she is. He went to lay beside her, kissing her shoulder. Man Wol turned to him, her hand stroking his face.
"My beautiful thief." He said.
"I love you" she said brushing his hair away from his eyes. He smiled finally hearing those words from her. Moving on top of her, his lips traveled from her ear to suck on her neck. He positioned himself at her entrance. He looked at her waiting for confirmation. She nodded then he pushes slowly and gently into her. She gasps and her eyes squeeze shut, Her fingers go to his back, digging in his skin. She cried out as she felt every inch of him go inside her. Man Wol felt tears in the corner of her eyes.
"Man Wol" he groaned, she felt tight as he pushed into her until he was fully inside. She looks up at him her eyes finally spilling tears. "Are you okay?" He asked wiping the tears from her cheek. He knew her first time was going to be painful. 'You want me to stop?" She shook her head.
"No, don't stop" She draped her arms around his neck, then leaning up to kiss him.
They stay like that for a moment, letting her body get used to the feeling. He whispered sweet nothings in her ear as her pain seemed to ease away. But it wasn't until she moved her legs to wrap them around his torso that he started to thrust slowly.
She moaned his name over and over as he left kisses down her neck. His hands ran up her stomach, cupping her breasts. Her hips started to move with his as he thrust. Man Wol felt jolts all over her body. Her gasps grew louder as he kissed her deeply, his hips moving faster. His fingers playing with her nipples. She ran her hands up his arms, squeezing them tightly. He moved his lips down her chin down to her neck. Her body arched against him as he made his way down her chest, taking a breast in his mouth.
Suddenly Chung Myung placed his hand on her back then pulled her up until she was straddling him. Gasping at the new position, she lifted her body to take him inside her again. Her hips rolled against him, moaning in each other's mouth as their lips meet in a kiss. Her hands trailed down his bare chest. Her lips trailed to his neck and shoulder. One of his hands held her hip, thrusting into her and matching her pace. His other hand ran down her back.
"Man Wol" He panted bringing his lips to hers again. She wrapped her arms around his neck, reacting eagerly to his kisses. His body tightened and he pressed deeply inside her, her walls clenching around him. Their sweaty skins smacked against each other. She felt like she couldn't hold back any longer. Their loud moans echoed in the small house.
He slowed his pace, gently thrusting into her as she panted and moaned, her body trembling, her orgasm once again taking over her body. He was close and with a few more thrusts, he groaned emptying his self inside her.
Man Wol's head fell tiredly against his shoulder, trying to catch her breath. Chung Myung kissed the side of her head, then stroked her hair. He wrapped his arms around her, hugging her. She didn't know how long they stayed in that position but she likes being like this in his arms. After a while more he lifted her head to brush his lips against hers.
She got off his lap then laid down on the bed. He lay beside her and placed the covers over them. He pulled her into his arms, sleep starting to take a hold of him. She closed her eyes feeling happy and content, sleep was starting to overtake her as well.
"Good night, my love" He whispered gently stroking her back which made her fall asleep. He finally closes his eyes falling into a deep slumber.
Chung Myung woke up the next morning hearing rain hitting the small window next to the bed. He didn't remember the last time he slept so well. Memories from last night flooded his head. Looking down, she was sleeping soundly in his arms. Her arm was placed across his chest and her head was resting on his shoulder, Her chest was slowly rising and falling. She was probably still tired from last night. Smiling, he carefully brushed away hair that was falling to her eyes. It was such a beautiful sight as he watched her sleep that he couldn't wait to wake up every day like this by her side.
There was no turning back now. Everyone must have found out he was missing and are out there looking for him. But he didn't care, he wanted to be with Man Wol than live in a loveless marriage. She stirred a little bit nestling closer to him. He pulled up the covers up to her shoulders, reaching down kissing her forehead. Her eyes slowly fluttered open, She looked up at him smiling softly.
"Good morning, I see you slept well" She reached up to cup his cheek, he placed his own on top of hers, leaning into her palm. She smiled looking at him with loving eyes.
"I love you." She mummers softly still feeling very sleepy. He smiled not getting enough of her saying that. He leaned down to brush his lips against hers. She moved her body more onto his chest, kissing him back.
"I told you I would stay by your side." He replied breaking the kiss. She placed her head back on his shoulder and closed her eyes, sighing. His hand stroked her back which seemed to comfort her.
"Is it morning already?" She asked. "It looks dark outside."
"Yes, it's raining. Looks like we are stuck here but we could stay here and be in bed all day." She smirked beginning to like that idea. Just the two of them together all day. There was silence for a while, both of them just listening to the rain. Man Wol was about to fall asleep again when he decided to ask. "How did you find out about the wedding?" Man Wol opened her eyes then shook her head. She didn't want to relive that day anymore.
"It doesn't matter anymore."
"I wanted to tell you myself but then there was another mission and-." She lifted her head and covered his mouth with her hand before he can continue.
"You don't have to explain anything. It's in the past now." He took her hand lacing it with his.
"Man Wol, Do you want to get married?" he said softly making her eyes widen, she sat up to look at him. He sat up taking her other hand.
"What?" She answered softly not believing what he was saying. He was asking her to be his forever and it made her feel happy yet scared.
"I want to spend the rest of my days with you. We can leave and start a new life." He pressed his forehead against hers. Man Wol felt her heartbeat rapidly. "I don't care where as long as it's with you." She smiled softly. "Do you want to be my wife?" It took a minute for her to process everything but she kissed him, feeling, even happier than she was before. Apart from her wanted to see the face of the princess when she finds out she's going to marry him instead of her.
"Yes," She kissed him over and over again. "I'll love to be your wife." Chung Myung quickly tackled her in excitement kissing her all over her face. Man Wol started to giggle as he hugged her close to him. "My husband."
"My wife." He suddenly leaned in and kissed her softly. The rain outside didn't stop as they made love for the second time. Afterward, they fell asleep again dreaming of their new life together and hoping the rain never stopped.
