Joey hadn't caught up to Tessa that night and to make matters worse when he finally did catch up with her on his work break she had said she needed some space. The only time they had spent together in the past month was for a prenatal check up. But today was the big day, the gender reveal.

"So is it a Junior or a Joelia?" Joey joked causing Tessa to roll her eyes.

"It looks like it'll be a boy." Dr. Schroeder announced.

"WOOOOO," Joey cheered, "I knew Jeremiah's only have boys"

Dr. Schroeder looked on in astonishment while Tessa shook her head.

"Is it to early to request he not being in the delivery room?" She asked causing the doctor to chuckled.

"Heeeey, I'm going to be perfect in the delivery room."

"I'll make you guys some copies of the ultrasound." Dr. Schroeder said befor stepping out.

"Want to grab a pizza? Or do you still need space? " Joey asked still very thrilled about the news.

"I can grab a bite. I haven't had anything to eat since lunch."

"So, what happened between us?" Joey asked watching Tessa scarf down her first pizza slice. A little sauce had dripped onto her chin. Joey reach over and wiped the sauce off.

Tessa didn't want to tell Joey she had put on an icy demeanor after seeing Caitlin and him together. "I'm gonna have to tell my parents soon. I'm starting to get fat." She said reaching for another slice avoiding the question.

"Your not getting fat, and you should. I'm telling you I wish I told mine from the beginning."

"Your parents aren't strict though. Do you remember that night my parents almost caught us?"

Joey turned red thinking about that moment. He was on his way to third base when Tessa threw him off of her after seeing the head lights from her parents car. He never told her this but he had been yearning for her touch. She always drove him crazy.

"Yeah."

"Well if they had caught us we wouldn't have to worry about the pregnancy, we'd be dead."

Joey practically snorted his coke back up. He knew that their was a double standard for them but he didn't think anyone's parents could be that bad.

"Tessa, you still didn't answer my question. What happened at the wedding? One minute I'm catching up with Snake, BLT and the guys and the next I hear you ran off."

"You seemed like you were having a good time. I didn't want to bother you."

Joey thought back to the wedding. The last time he remembered seeing Tessa was before Snake had introduced him to his girlfriend Pam. He was sure she was talking to Spike when he left.

"Your not a bother, I was hoping to save the last dance for you."

"Are you sure that dance wasn't meant for Caitlin?"

"Caitlin and I are just friends. If I wanted to go with her I would of asked her."

"Just like we're just friends, right Joey?"

Joey didn't know how to answer that. He wanted to be with Tessa but he knew that seeing Caitlin and him together had hurt her. He was just glad that Tessa was speaking to him again. He wish he knew a better way of dealing with Tessa.

"Yeah, right. I'm ready when you are." He said grabbing the bill and paying it.

"Thanks. Yeah, let's go."

"Can I walk you to the door?" Joey asked pulling into the drive way.

"No!" She said throwing Joey off with her reaction, "They would want you to come inside and probably interrogate you. Your not good under pressure."

"Thanks for the confidence in me." He said rolling his eyes. "I'll see you tomorrow."

Tessa had walked into the front door and noticed the light in the kitchen was on. She can smell the smoke from her dads cigarettes filling the house. Her father had quit smoking over a year ago. She wanted to sneak into her room unnotice and do her homework.

"Tessa, can you come in the kitchen?" Her mom called.

Tessa noticed her parents pass something between them has she walked into the kitchen.

"I was cleaning out your room and I found something."

Tessa's dad pulling out a picture from his hand and place it in front of her. It was her sonogram picture from her last visit.

"Is this yours?"
