Akashi and Kuroko's wedding wasn't very large and grand. They invited their close friends and families to a water garden and celebrated their marriage. Surrounded by beautiful flowers and candles, chiffon banners hanging from the glass ceiling, the sound of the stream passing through the water garden, they kissed their first kiss as a married couple.

They had been dating since highschool, got their memories back in college, and had planned their marriage right after getting their 58th tally mark. Their friends always had a feeling Akashi and Kuroko would be an everlasting couple. The now husbands were such gentle lovers with each other from the beginning, always supporting each other, always guiding each other. It made their friends envious of how strong their connection was, almost as if they were soulmates.

For their honeymoon, they decided to go to Hawaii. Akashi and Kuroko spent nearly an entire month in complete bliss, taking in their new married lives together. In the morning, Akashi would wake up to the glistening of the golden wedding band on his finger and the view of Kuroko's back as he made breakfast while humming to himself. Akashi lived for these soft moments with the other. In the evening, Kuroko pressed Akashi into the pristine white sheets of the bed and savored every noise, every touch, everything that his husband offered. Kuroko breathed to see his lover smile.

Having their memories back was as useful as it was troublesome. They had gotten used to occasionally getting their memories mixed up with their previous lives and did their best to reason with it and work through it. Kuroko woke up from nightmares often, usually of Akashi dying. Akashi occasionally felt an incredible amount of guilt when he thought about how he had been a murderer before in his previous lives and how he had shot his friends before as well. On days when they felt weak, they simply held each other.

In Akashi's opinion, Kuroko was definitely the stronger one of their relationship. The blue haired boy was always there with a solution. Always holding Akashi's hand. Always giving him small kisses when he needed it. Always joking around to make the other laugh.

"Sei-kun?" Kuroko mumbled as he rubbed the sleep from his eyes, the sunlight washing in from the windows.

"Mm."

"I dreamed that I was swimming in an ocean of orange soda."

Akashi turned over to face his husband, "I swear to god, Tetsuya, if you-"

"It was just a Fanta sea." Kuroko said with a small smile.

The redhead cracked a smile while staring at his stupid husband and lightly hit him, "It's so cringey when you do that."

"Puns aren't cringey. You should try joking around sometimes. It'll make you feel good."

A year into their marriage, Akashi startled awake from a particularly bad nightmare. Kuroko jolted awake when he heard his husband scream and he immediately flew into action.

"Seijuro, is it ok to touch you? I don't want to trigger anything."

"Tetsuya, please," The redhead begged as he reached out for his lover, "hold me. Please."

Kuroko gently wiped the tears from Akashi's face and covered him in their blanket. The blue haired boy held his husband tight in an embrace. He whispered words of love until Akashi calmed down. They sat together on the bed, Akashi's back leaning against Kuroko's chest.

"You left me." The redhead mumbled.

"I would never leave you." Kuroko whispered while pressing a small kiss to his forehead.

Akashi sighed, "I know. It just felt so real. It was our lifetime when I had the hanahaki disease, you just left me. You said you never loved me."

Kuroko listened carefully and let out a steady breath while trying to think of ways to help his husband. In the end, the blue haired boy lightly kissed down Akashi's neck to his shoulder and muttered,

"You know I'll always love you. You always have a pizza my heart."

Akashi couldn't help but smile and he let out a small laugh. "That was horrible, Tetsuya. It's times like this when I question why I married you."

Kuroko laughed as he held the redhead more tightly, "You're the one that proposed to me."

They fell asleep in each other's arms, feeling relaxed and content.

A year and a half into their marriage, Kuroko awoke one morning alone in their shared bed. The blue haired boy panicked slightly, feeling that the empty space beside him was still a little warm.

"Seijuro?" Kuroko got up and quickly walked into the kitchen. He relaxed when he saw his husband brewing coffee.

Akashi turned at the sound of his name and smiled. The blue haired boy drew in a small breath as he sat down at the dining table.

"What's wrong, Tetsuya? Bad dream?"

Kuroko shook his head as he wrapped his cold hands around the warm coffee mug. The redhead reached across the table and grabbed his husband's hand, the wedding band cold against his skin.

"I just...I guess I just got confused when I saw you weren't there in the morning. I'm alright now. I'm here." The blue haired boy mumbled as he sipped his coffee.

Akashi pursed his lips, he knew that when his stubborn husband said he was alright, things were not alright. The redhead leaned forward and pecked Kuroko's lips,

"You're my entire universe, Tetsuya. Remember that."

Kuroko looked at his husband with gentle eyes and lightly kissed Akashi's ring finger before saying, "I have a whole latte love for you."

Akashi blinked several times before lightly smacking his husband's hand away, "Die."

The blue haired boy let out a laugh and they both knew that things were ok.

Three years into their marriage, they fought. It started as something small, as most fights do. Sometimes Kuroko and Akashi questioned whether they loved each other or not. It was a confusing time for both of them. Their memories jumbling together until they couldn't tell what was right and what was wrong. It was Kuroko who yelled first. The redhead stood, shocked. His husband always had great mental strength and to see him fall apart like this was foreign to Akashi.

"Admit it, Seijuro! You don't even love me. This is just you trying to prove to the world that you can last 100 lifetimes with the same person. This is just another game, another challenge for you!"

Akashi tried to hold Kuroko's hand but the blue haired boy flinched away. Tears streamed down Akashi's cheeks, "Ducky, please...let me help you."

Kuroko lashed out, "Get away from me. You disgust me."

Akashi did his best to not take it personally, understanding that sometimes this happened. Other times it was easier, this time it was not. He tried again, "I love you, my little duckling. Every waking moment I have is spent loving you. Every vow, every promise I've made is how much I love you."

The blue haired boy shattered. His head pounding, his heart racing, he ran. Kuroko ran out of the house until he couldn't run anymore and then, he screamed at the night sky. He screamed out towards the sea near their house. He screamed and screamed until he couldn't feel the pain anymore.

Akashi was quick to follow him and when he saw his fragile husband fall to the ground, he was there to catch him. Kuroko trembled in the redhead's arms and mumbled apologies. Akashi shook his head, telling him it was ok.

When they both calmed down, they sat on the grass and looked at the calm sea. Kuroko laughed weakly as he said, "There might be other fish in the sea, but you're my sole mate."

Six years into their marriage, Akashi stood in the living room, one arm wrapped around Kuroko's waist and the other holding his hand. They swayed gently to the music playing and danced by the fireplace. Kuroko leaned his head against his husband's chest and allowed Akashi to guide his feet in a slow dance.

"Tetsuya." Akashi muttered against his forehead, Kuroko's blue hair tickling his nose.

"Mm." Kuroko's eyes were closed as he listened to his husband's strong heartbeat.

"What would you do if I tripped you right now?"

"You wouldn't." Kuroko mumbled sleepily.

Akashi smiled and pressed a kiss to Kuroko's forehead as they continued dancing. A heavy silence lingered between them as the music played on and then the redhead tripped his husband so that they both fell onto the couch.

Kuroko yelped and stared up at his husband. There were no words to describe how much love filled Akashi's eyes at that moment. The only thing Kuroko was able to do was lean up and kiss his husband before whispering against Akashi's lips,

"Life would B flat without you."

Akashi laughed. And it was music to Kuroko's ears.

Twenty years into their marriage, Akashi had an outburst. Similar to Kuroko, the redhead was stressed and anxious about their love. They stood in their bedroom as Akashi threw a pillow weakly at his husband.

"Tetsuya, you're a fucking liar." The redhead spat out, "You love me? Love? Ridiculous. I don't even know who you are. Sometimes, I can barely remember you."

Kuroko let the pillow bounce off his head and he stood still, not daring to approach his angered husband. He simply stood still as Akashi threw their pillows and bedsheets. Eventually, the redhead tired himself and they faced each other. Kuroko chose his words carefully,

"Every lifetime we've had together is proof of how much I love you, Seijuro. And every lifetime that has yet to come is proof of how much I will continue to love you."

Akashi clenched his fists, hot tears rolling down his cheeks onto the hardwood of their bedroom floor. The redhead knew. He knew that he was just confused. He knew he loved Kuroko and he knew Kuroko loved him just as much.

"I'm sorry, Tetsuya."

"It's ok, my little duckling." Kuroko slowly approached when he knew Akashi had calmed down and they sat on the cold floor in each other's arms.

Akashi traced the wedding band on Kuroko's finger and took deep breaths. The blue haired boy spoke nervously, not exactly expecting the other to listen,

"You know, I never get bored of you. No matter how many lifetimes go by, I fall in love with you all over again. Being able to stand by your side is a privilege which I will never forget and being able to share my life with you is something I never take for granted. Ever since you first saw me at Teiko and said you were interested in me, my soul told me it was you. It can't be anyone else but you, Seijuro. I relish being your husband."

Akashi was quiet. So quiet that Kuroko almost thought that his husband had fallen asleep but then Akashi said,

"I'm glad you mustard up the courage to tell me that."

Kuroko laughed, "I wish you were dead."

Their married life together began to smooth out as more years went by. Their memories fell into place and they lived their lives to the fullest. Akashi and Kuroko couldn't be happier to face challenges together, to laugh together, and to cry together.

After 70 years of marriage, Akashi passed away peacefully in his sleep, followed by Kuroko the year after.
