(3rd POV, on the Riptide)

Their journey was coming to an end as they were about to come out of hyperspace. Poseidon was dressed in an formal uniform of the Atlantian Military, the uniform made it known to everyone who saw him who was king and leader of the Atlantians. Percy and the rest of the Admirals were dressed in their formal uniforms as well. Stella was dressed formally to just not in a military uniform like the rest of them. As they were coming out of hyperspace they got their first glance of the Athenian Capital. They spotted the 5th Fleet easily with the colors of Atlantis covering the hulls of the ships just like they did with every other ship in the Navy. The designs of the ships were what gave away what fleet they were apart of. Each fleet had something painted on the ships to mark them, it made identification easier that way as well.

The Riptide and the rest of the fleet made way to join up with the 5th Fleet. Once they did was when the other Admirals made their way over to the Riptide. Proteus, Apollo, Artemis, and Reyna each landed in the hangar of the Riptide to meet with the Royal Family. They all bowed when they came within distance of King Poseidon and then turning to salute Percy. A shuttle was being made ready while the Royal Guards got into their specially made star fighters, the would guard the shuttle even in the air with their lives. Rear Admiral Proteus was given command of the entire fleet with the orders to only engage when attacked first however unlikely that was. When the ship was prepared the rest of them got on with the Royal Family going and sitting first. A couple Royal Guards would be accompanying them in the shuttle as well. Leaving Proteus to go to the bridge to resume command of the fleets.

When the shuttle and escort made their way down to the planet all the occupants began to see the capital. It wasn't as beautiful as Atlantis but little else could compare to it in their eyes. They landed on a secure landing zone shortly after taking off, the Royal Guards were the first to disembark from their star fighters. They made sure everything was secure before giving the all clear to the shuttle passengers. The Admirals were the first off the shuttle followed by the Royal Family. The vehicles had already been delivered to the landing strip. Chancellor Athena and Ambassador Thalassa were there to greet them.

Ambassador Thalassa was the one to introduce the Chancellor to everybody. Chancellor Athena allow me to introduce you to King Poseidon. Poseidon nodded to her in greetings as Thalassa continued. This is his daughter Princess Estelle. This is Prince Perseus, Supreme Commander of the Atlantian Military. Beside him is Grand Admiral Artemis of the 1st Fleet. Her twin brother Admiral of the Fleet Apollo of the 2nd Fleet. Beside him is Admiral Reyna of the 3rd Fleet. Everyone, this is Chancellor Athena of the Republic of Athens.

Everyone besides Athena got into the transports to take them to the embassy. Athena went to the Senate to call an emergency meeting as well as gather her heads of the military.

As the Atlantians were going through the Capital more and more protesters took to the streets. None made any move to stop them, but the Royal Guards were growing weary of the growing crowd. When they arrived the high tech gates of the embassy were deactivated so they could come through. As soon as they went through they were reactivated and secured once more. The Royal Guards got into formation around King Poseidon and his entourage as they made their way into the embassy.

They were given a short break to go to their rooms to prepare for the Senate meeting. Percy decided to take a little nap before getting ready. Poseidon was going over his speech before getting ready himself. Stella decided to wander around the embassy, taking in the new sights. She really wanted to go and explore the Capital but new that wasn't going to happen. Unless she could somehow convince both her father and brother that she would be safe. They were EXTREMELY protective of her and her well-being. The Royal Guards took to guarding the royals rooms and in Stella's case wandering with her.

Before long the Senate was called and King Poseidon and his entourage were on their way. The embassy was close to the Senate building so it wasn't a long drive. The lead Royal Guards were the first to enter followed by the Admirals and then the Royal Family.

The King gave a speech of prosperity and of hope for new alliances. Although many were weary of what his arrival would mean. The Athenians were long time supporters of the Empire of Olympus, and made there dislike for Atlantis very clear.

After the Senate meeting was a dinner between the senior heads of the Republic and the leaders of Atlantis. It was a very big and important dinner for both sides. It had been a long time since either side sat down together let alone the heads of each government. There was small talk around table as dinner was starting although not much was being said between the two groups. It seemed the tensions were high between the two governments especially with the size of force hovering over Athens.

Nothing really interesting happened during the dinner, just small talk about the negotiations that would be going on in the later weeks. The Atlantians had the advantage and they knew it. Holding the Chancellor's daughter on war crimes could go a long way in the coming negotiations. With the dinner concluded with nothing major happening the Atlantians withdrew to the embassy for the night.

AN: Another chapter down and another one on the way. I don't know how much time I'll have with classes for college resuming, but hopefully I'll have more chapters for the future. Anyway I hope you like the story and continue on reading.
