A/N: All right, guys! In the previous chapter, Little Mac won against Disco Kid, but not without another public humiliation, and Hoy Quarlow isn't happy about it. Now he has to face the Champion of the Minor Circuit. Before we begin, I have to say that the order in which he will face some opponents will change a bit, as in this chapter. Let's begin!
Chapter 5: Title Bout: VS Don Flamenco
(''ACDC Town- Mega Man Battle Network 3 OST'')
After a stressful day washing his clothes, Little Mac spent the day training, determined to win the title of Champion of the Minor Circuit.
''Watch your back, boy. You never know what you're going to deal with.'' said Doc.
Mac checked the scoreboard and saw that he had to face the Spanish Don Flamenco from Madrid. He was a welterweight of 69 kg (152 pounds), he was 23 years old and was 1.85 meters (6 feet one inch) tall. In 25 matches, he won 22, including 9 by KO and only lost three. ''I have a feeling I'll face a ladiesman in front of me.'' he said.
''Well, i guess you have a point there.'' said Doc, as the boy went to the ring and saw a slim, shirtless man with a with brown hair and brown eyes. He was quite muscular and wore red gloves, yellow boots and red and yellow shorts. The audience cheered for the Spanish, who was surrounded by many red roses.
''I knew it. Everyone cheers for him.'' muttered Mac.
''Don't worry about that, son. If you win, the title will be yours, and that's what matters.'' replied the coach.
''Do you really think you can beat me? With an uppercut, I can even throw bulls in the air!(1)'' said Don Flamenco.
''Wait and see.'' replied the boy, and the match began.

(''Bizet- Carmen- Overture'')
''¡Por las chicas! (For the girls!)'' Don exclaimed, throwing a right uppercut, which Mac dodged before hitting him with six punches on the face and blocked a left jab, but was hit by a right hook.
Don Flamenco passed into a defensive position. ''Try it, if you dare!'' he taunted, and blocked a right hook and then hit Mac in the face with a left uppercut.
''Damn it. I wasn't expecting that.'' Mac thought. He dodged a right hook and hit Don with five jabs followed by a Star Punch, which knocked him to the mat. The referee started counting.
''1! 2! 3! 4! 5! 6! 7! 8-''
After a failed attempt, Don Flamenco got up and tried to provoke the opponent again, but this time Mac dodged the blow and hit him on the stomach with an uppercut. There was a minute and a half left to the end of the first round.
''No eres tan malo. ¿Que te parece esto? (You're not bad. How about this?)'' asked Don, using his special attack, the Rose Flurry, a series of three right hooks. Mac ducked under the first one and dodged the second one by moving to the right, but the third hit him in the chest and dropped him to the ground.
''1! 2! 3! 4! 5! 6-''
Little Mac stood up and countered Don's counterattack, also known as Tango Uppercut, with an uppercut.
''You're almost there, kid! Soon, the title will be yours!'' said Doc Louis.
Don attacked with a left uppercut, but Mac dodged it and hit him on the stomach with six hooks. Now he had a black eye and his hair was unkempt. He put a rose in his mouth and used the Rose Flurry, but Mac dodged all the blows by bending his back, then used the momentum to use his Star Punch, hitting him in the face and throwing him into the air. The Spanish tried to get up, but unsuccessfully, and the rose fell into his hand. There were ten seconds left in the first round.
(''Bizet- Carmen- Overture-s'')
''Don Flamenco is KO! This means that the new Minor Circuit Champion is Little Mac!'' announced the referee.
(''Victory Theme- Golden Sun OST'')
The audience began to cheer, and Little Mac felt full of joy. ''Yes! All right!'' he shouted.
''You were fantastic, Mac!'' Doc shouted happily, hugging his pupil.
Don got up. ''I may have lost, but I admit that you were good.'' he said.
''I hope you don't mind this defeat.'' said Mac.
''No me importa la derrota. Trataré de ser feliz por ti. El titulo es tuyo. (I don't mind this defeat. I will try to be happy for you. The title is yours.'' the Spanish replied, giving him the title. On the belt was the Minor Circuit logo, a gray circle with five stars and, in the center, two fists that collide.
''Thanks!'' said the American, who raised his belt to heaven and then put it on.
''Well done, Mac! Great start! Now you can go to the Major Circuit! The headquarters of the Major Circuit is in Las Vegas.'' said Doc Louis.
''Las Vegas, Nevada?'' asked Mac.
''Yup. But it's a far from here, on the other side of the United States. To reach it, we will take a plane. It will take about four hours to get there.'' replied the coach.
''I'll be ready for any challenge,'' said the boy. Winning the title of Champion of the Minor Circuit had filled him with determination.
A/N: Little Mac has won the Minor Circuit! Now we can move on to the Major Circuit. Hope you enjoyed this chapter and see you next time! Bye!
