Hoo boy it's been a while huh. What, 3 and a half years?
I'm… really sorry. I always had it in the back of my head to continue this, I really did, but the motivation just… wasn't there.
Well it is now! I already finished the second draft of chapter 1 and am working on drafts of the other chapters.
It is still going to be Shirou x Gilgamesh with the same setting and plot. The only thing that's different is that I, myself, have grown and I now know the characters better. I am now much more understanding of my own sexuality and fetishes, something that I now realise I was struggling with when I started this fanfic. I didn't know where I wanted to go with the fanfic, I didn't know what I wanted from it. Now, I have a clear idea of the direction this fic will go in, and a more open attitude to sex that will help with the juicy scenes.
If anything is going to change, it's maybe a tag or two. The rewrite is a fair bit heavier than this may have been. I hope it's still enjoyable to the people who enjoyed this version! The new rewrite will be posted separately under a slightly different name, probably something like Fate/Second Chance (Rewrite) but I'll try to be a little more creative?
I hope you all look forward to this. I'm sorry it took so long, but my hiatus has been broken! Also look out for a separate "bonus" chapter of Rin x Saber yuri action, that's also still a thing.
