And we're officially back!

Enjoy xx

A door near the outer edges of the dark room creaked open, revealing a stone chair connected to many pipes and wires centered in the middle. Gluttony appeared in the frame and began walking forward, Alphonse trailing shortly behind him. His metal body clanged as he walked, with Xiao-Mei perched on his left shoulder slowly gazing around, gasping slightly at the terrifying sight before them. "This place couldn't get any creepier, huh?" He stated.

Gluttony began waving his arms above his head, "Hello Father!" Alphonse gasped in surprise, "I've brought you a human sacrifice!"

"Your Father?" Alphonse exclaimed, quickly looking around. "This is happening too fast!" The small panda let out a scream and hid behind his helmet. A lone figure appeared in the shadows coming down the steps and Alphonse gasped.

"And who is this?" The mysterious figure asked. Letting out another sound, Alphonse seemingly recognized the sound of the voice.

" …Dad?" Only able to make out the sight shaped of his face and the blonde hair framing it, the rest of the man was hidden from view.

A noise was made from beside him. Looking towards the sight, any normal person would've fainted on the spot seeing Gluttony suddenly bursting from the inside out, watching the jaw of his stomach appear. Alphonse stepped back slightly, watching Gluttony flail on the ground gagging out a stream of blood from his mouth and clenching a pipe next to him, steam bursting out of it. Red sparks overtook the homunculus's body as two monstrous-looking arms shot out of the opening on his stomach, curving back around, and reaching back in to tear him open even more. A green, terrifying creature burst forth, covered in heads, spikes, and long black hair. It fell out of the homunculus, landing on the concrete next to Alphonse, its breath shallow. Alphonse stepped back, taking in the sudden appearance of this massive creature, shocked and surprised.

"Envy?" The robed figure exclaimed.

Alphonse turned to face him, "Envy!" He whipped back around to get another look at the creature with heads dripping off his body, some of which were moaning in pain. "That thing?" He looked closer, seeing an entanglement of limbs buried under the green mess of goop and heads, one that happened to have a missing shoe and a metal foot. "Brother!" Alphonse rushed towards them, pushing the green muck off their heads revealing a blonde and a slightly shorter brunette. "Brother?"

Edward was clearly in pain, "Al?" He looked up, "You're back in your armor. So that means..." He thought for a second and closed his eyes, smirking. Lifting his metal arm, he connected his fist with the prince's next to him.

"We're back in the real world", the Xingese prince announced.

"Guess so."

Ed was then tackled into a hug by the suit of armor, "Owowowow-Yowch!" He began yelling, stuck in the arms of his younger brother, "You're hurting me!" Attempting to free himself, he wiggled an arm out, struggling to get out of his grasp while Alphonse continued yelling to him about how happy he was that he was alive.

While the two brothers continued their reunion, Ling proceeded to help the two sisters up. Ashley nodded her thanks, and they began looking at their surroundings while Ling took a few steps around, one hand clutching his ribs in pain, the other holding the sword at his side, gazing at the interior of the area. He then looked over at the brothers again, "I'm sorry…" Alphonse set Ed down and plopped down in front of him, the panda at his side, "But I thought… I thought you were dead." Al was trembling so bad you could hear his armor rattling.

Ed looked surprised, gazing down at his lap, "I'm okay Al." He rubbed his face and placed a metal hand on his brother's head, "I'm sorry. I'm sorry I worried you." The panda suddenly jumped up, hiding beside one of the many pipes lining the floor. Ed stood, taking in his surroundings, "Where exactly did we wind up?" He asked.

"This is somewhat surprising." Ed jumped back, quickly turning around to face the shadowed figure approaching them. "People emerging from his stomach." He couldn't believe his eyes.

There, standing before them, was his father, or what looked to be Hohenheim at least. A carbon copy you could say, but without the glasses, wearing a white robe that draped down to the floor. A hand on his chin and blonde hair down to his shoulders, he stood there as the others took in his appearance.

"What the… Hohenheim?" Ed stood guarded.

"Steel appendages… And an armored body. Hm..." The man looked to the side.

The brothers quickly looked up at each other in confusion, wondering what the other was thinking. The look-a-like quickly appeared in front of them, examining their faces and the two jumped back. "Are you two the Elric brothers?" He asked.

"So, you're… You're not…" Edward began.

"Have you mistaken me for someone else? Well, hold on" The man thought for a second, "Hohen…" He suddenly looking back at them, "The name you're saying. By any chance do you mean Van Hohenheim? And how is it that the two of you are acquainted with him?"

Al spoke up then, "Well, he's our father." The strange man thought about Al's answer for a moment. Glancing at Ed, he suddenly lunged at him grabbing the boy's face in his hands.

"He's your father? This is indeed surprising!" He looked astonished, "I had no idea he had children!" The man began laughing, roughly patting the injured older Elric on the head like a small child being praised.

Ed quickly became irritated, and Alphonse wasn't the only one to notice. The two sisters had been hiding behind the boys, letting the scene unfold without disruption.

The man became serious once more, his hands remaining on Ed's head and shoulder. "If you are indeed his prodigy, then why is it that your family name is Elric?"

Ed harshly threw the man's hands off him. "Elric is our mother's last name!"

"Oh, is that so? So where has he been spending his time?"

"Who cares!" Ed was angered by the talk of their father, throwing his finger up to point at the man's face, "Just forget him. Who the hell are you? And why do you look exactly like him?"

He ignored the questions, continuing his thoughts on the brother's father. "I know that he can't be dead. To think that he has children though…"

Ed became peeved, "Listen!"

Al began reaching for Ed's arm, "Brother, this guy's the one wh- ", Al was interrupted by Edwards cry of pain.

The man suddenly stopped talking to himself at the revelation of Ed's injured arm, "It would appear that you're injured. And you're missing your left hand, aren't you?" He walked over so that he was standing in front of the two, placing his right hand over Al's missing one. Red sparks surrounded the limb, and just like new, Al had his hand back. "There, how is that for you?"

Ed looked in amazement, not realizing until too late that the man had grabbed his broken arm, pulling it towards him. "Your arm is broken." Placing both hands on Ed's forearm, red sparks surrounded it just like before, and suddenly the pain was gone.

Ed pulled his arm out of the man's reach immediately, grabbing it and tearing off the makeshift splint they had made before. He began flexing his fist in awe, "It's not broken anymore!" Ed looked back up and the man came towards him again, placing his hands on his shoulders and rib cage, feeling around for more injuries. "Hey… Ow!"

"And some broken ribs as well." Red sparks appeared again.

Al looked in amazement as Ed began patting his torso, all remnants of the fight had disappeared.

He looked down at the two, "I consider the two of you to be vital resources. You must both remain alive and healthy."

"This isn't right Al. He performed a transmutation without any movement at all."

"And he didn't even thin out my armor," Al stated.

And then they realized, both turning towards him, "There isn't any equivalent exchange!"

It was then that Ling spoke up, with the two girls next to him. "You aren't human. What are you! What the hell is inside you!" He took a fighting stance, pointing his sword towards him.

Father looked menacingly towards the prince, "I would ask who you are, but I honestly don't care." He started to walk away, speaking again. "You can go ahead and eat him."

"Okay!" Gluttony raised his arms and he began waddling towards Ling.

"What? No, hold on!" Ed ran over to Ling, putting his arms out in an attempt to stop the ravenous homunculus. "This guy's our friend. You want to keep us happy right, so don't kill him! Please!"

He still continued walking, "But I have no need for him. Your friendship doesn't make him any less useless to you."

"What did you say?"

Al stopped him. "Brother, the Homunculi keep calling this guy their Father. I think he created them!"

Ed stood and stared, "What?" He whispered.

"He did heal our wounds though!" Al remembered.

"He didn't heal ours." Ling, Emily, and Ashley came stumbling next to them, watching the man walk away. "I don't like him. I can tell he looks down on humans and calls us fools!" Ling worked up the strength to put his sword up again.

Father stopped and turned around to face them. "When you notice an insect on the ground do you stop to consider it a fool?" Ling's gaze was directed harshly towards the man. "The life of an insect is so beneath you that it would be a waste of your time to even consider judging it. That would be an accurate summation of my feelings towards you humans."

Ed immediately clapped his hands and pressed them down onto the cemented flooring. Blue light burst up with shards of concrete poking into the air, traveling towards Father. He immediately shielded himself with a wall of the same material, never moving an inch. Ed got back up after realizing his attack was blocked, "Look, you might have healed our wounds but that does not mean we're friends!" He raised his fist up, "It's pretty apparent that you're the root of all this evil! I'm taking you down, and I don't care how many cronies you've got!"

Envy spoke up, "And just who are you calling a crony, Pipsqueak?"

That set Ed off. "Pipsqueak?" He clapped his hands once more, sending pipes in the direction of the two homunculi and quickly shifted it to hit Father. He managed to wrap the man up quickly, only to have his efforts fail and the pipes to shatter.

Envy went up on his hindlegs, planning on crushing Ed beneath him, however, Ed managed to dodge out of the way and instead climbed up one of the shapeshifters legs. He vaulted over Envy, missing his mouth by mere inches, and headed towards Father. He then got blocked again by a wall of concrete, landing on it and immediately getting knocked off by Envy's tail.

Alphonse shot more pipes at the distracted Homunculi leader, but they were again deflected. Smoke billowed around the man and quickly cleared up as Ling found an opening in the smoke, charging at the guy sword in hand. The prince was shot away by a column of flooring hitting him in the chest, sending him flying. "Ling!" Al exclaimed worriedly and quickly glanced behind him to look at the two defenseless people. "Please stay behind me!" Looking back at his brother and their friend he attempted to sort out the pieces. What's going on here, guys?"

Ed lifted himself from the floor, brushing broken rubble from his shoulders. "How does he do that? It's like he can transmute just by thinking about it!"

Father stops his attack, sighing, "This is a waste of time." He steps one foot forward, placing it on the ground and a transmutation shakes the whole rooms, red sparks decorating the center, and a hard blast of air pushes everyone back. Everyone could feel it. The pulse of energy that just shot out, shaking every person to their core.

Edward and Alphonse kneeled, their palms placed on the ground in front of them, both trembling at the realization of what was happening. They attempted to transmute again, only to have the same effect as before. Nothing was working.

"What's going on? I can't transmute!"

"Gah!" Envy appeared behind them, pushing them fully onto the ground with his massive hands, pinning the brothers down.

"Ed! Al!" Ling began to get up and help them, when Gluttony jumped at him from above, flipping the prince over his shoulders, back underneath him and trapping him. Ling's sword flew up in the air and landed in Gluttony's mouth where he then began swallowing it.

Emily attempted to move forward and help but Envy's large tail got in the way. "Don't even think about it."

Ed tried lifting himself up and out of Envy's grasp, but the homunculus was too heavy to even budge. "What the hell did he do to us!"

Al lifted his hands, gazing at them in shock. "I don't know! Why can't we use our alchemy?"

It was then that Envy began laughing, his giant form making it sound even darker and dangerous than usual. "You lower lifeforms never cease to amuse me. You get a speck of power and you think you own the world. And you don't even know what that power is." Ed shot a glare at him. "And then you have the arrogance to assume that you're the one who's in control of this power. You're like a bad joke that keeps getting dumber."

A pipe gave in, snapping off and began falling below where it let out a clang when it hit the floor. Ed looked back up at the green monster above him, "What are you bastards planning? You promised to tell me everything if I got you out!"

Envy glanced at him, "Huh? Why I would never stoop so low as to make a deal with a worm like you!"

"Liar!"

Father then bluntly spoke up. "You talk far too much, Envy."

"Oh, sorry."

Father looked over at the Xingese prince that laid trapped under Gluttony. "You may prove to be rather useful to me after all." Ling looked up at him, clenching his jaw. "I could always use a new pawn in the rotation." He brought his index and middle finger up to his forehead, tapping the center, where an oval-shaped eye appeared, oozing a red substance that began trickling down to the center.

"Is that… A Philosophers Stone!" Al's voice echoed in the hollow suit as he spoke.

Ling perked up; his gaze focused on the eye. "A what?"

"You're really going to do that?" Envy seemed to know exactly what was happening.

A voice below him caused Envy to look down again. "Do what?" Ed didn't have a clue.

"He's going to make a new homunculus." All eyes shot to the figure in the center and Envy continued. "The stone is added into the bloodstream. If it is able to merge, then a human-based homunculus is created."

The jelly-like stone then fell into the leader's hands. Father tore off the white bandage covering a deep scratch on Ling's face, causing a small drop of blood to seep out onto his skin. Ling peered up at him through the black hair that covered his eyes.

"But it's more common for the stone to overpower the subject to kill them."

"I'm not going to let you do this to him!" Ed and Al began struggling to lift themselves free, managing to slightly lift their bodies off the ground. "What is this? What's going on! Why the hell aren't we able to transmute!" Edward repeatedly began clapping his hands to no avail. "You bearded bastard! Let him go! He's got people waiting for him to come back! Get off of me!" Ed suddenly stopped, looking behind him on his side he remembered the handgun tucked into his waistband. Pulling it out, he turned to look at Envy, aiming it, only to be stopped by the green heads moaning and crying on Envy's arm.

Envy then noticed what he was doing, seemingly not even fazed by Ed holding the weapon. "Can you really shoot such a sad face? Can you, boy?"

"Damn you…" Ed faltered.

"Don't shoot it!" Ed's gazed whipped around to face the prince as Ling pointed at him. "This is exactly what I want. So, you just stay out of it!"

"Are you serious?" The alchemist was baffled.

Ling continued. "I came to your land to find a Philosophers Stone, and now this guy wants to give me one! I'm not gonna turn this down."

"Think about what you're doing!"

Father looked down at Ling. "Well, now this is new. But we'll see if your body is as willing as your mind."

Ed gasped, "No, don't!"

The red, jelly-like stone dropped from his palm, falling onto the pinned Ling's cheek where the cut was located, landing with a 'plop'. It seeped into the cut, disappearing immediately and visibly spread through his veins like fire. Ling's body convulsed with red sparks enclosing around him and he cried out, his muscles spasming and the bones on his wrists looked like they were breaking inside of him.

"Ling!" Ed and Al watched on helplessly, unable to do a thing. Gluttony had risen off him and watched on with a slight frown, taking a few steps back.

"I told you to keep out of this! Don't you dare interfere!" He continued screaming. The muscles and bones continued shifting around rapidly and it looked like Ling was unable to control a single thing in his body. He attempted to glance at the two brothers, "Stay back. I promise I know what I'm doing!" He muttered in between cries. "They are dealing with the future leader if Xing, Ling… Yao!" Blood pooled out of his mouth onto the ground below him as another convulsion swept through his body. He lifted his upper torso off the ground and into the air and you could see under his eyes, the blood coming from his lower lids and trailing down his face. He suddenly let out a blood-curdling scream.

A pulse of energy shot out and red sparks continued to surround him as he kneeled, his arms hanging behind him and his chest pointed towards the ceiling. He seemed to finally become alert again and his body hunched over, an arm rising to rest on the back of his neck.

"…Ling?"

The newly turned homunculus looked up towards Ed. "What? Oh, you mean the guy I took this body from." An evil grin overtook his face and the bandage covering his left hand slipped off, revealing the Uroboros. "Sorry, but your friend just checked out and lent Greed this body!"

Al seemed uncertain. "…So, you're not Ling?"

"Did he say Greed?"

Greed rose and walked over to the brothers who still lied trapped under Envy, kneeling to rest his shoulders on his knees and balancing on the tips of his toes. "So, then… Are you the Greed from before?"

Greed gave them a confused look. "Huh, what are you talking about?"

"You don't remember us?"

"From Dublith?"

He thought for a second before realizing, "Oh, you must've met some different Greed."

"He was my avarice before you." Greed glanced over to Father as he spoke.

"Ah, I gotcha!" He proceeded to scratch the back of his head. "That makes sense. But if you want to hear it from me… No, I'm not the Greed you knew."

"But… Ling?"

Greed got up again, turning to look at Ed. "Well, he was an interesting kid. Gave up his body without any fight at all."

"You're lying! Ling would never give up and surrender himself so easily! Answer me, Ling! Ling! Ling!" Edward didn't believe a word he was saying, and Greed chuckled at his hopeless attempt.

The entrance suddenly banged open and all eyes shot over to it, revealing one of the chimera guards walking forward, its red eyes shining through the darkened room and the light from outside the door illuminating its furry, horned body. It let out a short growl, and its small frame exploded, revealing Scar with Mei at his side. She stared forward, her eyes focused on the powerful figure in the room, and quickly hid behind the coat of the man at her side.

He looked down at her, "What's the matter?"

"That feeling… It's coming from that man!" Scar gazed ahead, looking at the blonde man in the white robes. "He's a human, but also not!"

"No, he's not. It doesn't look like any of them are human." Scar stepped forward, raising his hand in preparation for battle.

The small panda suddenly shot towards them, hopping into the arms of the equally small girl. "Oh, Xiao Mei! Thank goodness you're okay! I've been so worried about you!"

Greed began clapping, "Oh, now that is a touching reunion right there."

Al looked over from where he was still trapped, watching Mei spin around with the panda in her arms and tossing her up in the air while Ed began attempting to free himself again.

Scar looked on, "And they've also got Fullmetal."

Mei perked up after hearing that, "Where is he! Where is mister Edward?" Scar pointed forward.

"There."

Mei looked ahead… Squinted… And then looked to her right, and then to her left. She looked back up to the scarred man, "He's not really here, is he?"

"I told you, that's him right there!" Mei turned her gaze ahead of her, "That little guy is the Fullmetal Alchemist!"

She peered ahead, staring at the tiny figure smooshed under the hulking green arm. Ed made a face and Mei suddenly looked crushed; tears quickly began forming in her eyes. "How dare you toy with the feeling of a maiden you human-micro!" She and Xiao Mei were sobbing by this point.

Ed started freaking out under his trapped position. "What'd you call me micro-girl?"

They began arguing, Al joining in, and Gluttony, where he stood by Father, recognized the scarred man next to the small child. He pointed and looked at his leader with a small pout. "That's the Ishvalan I never got to eat."

With a hand on his chin, Father began thinking. "Another human with his own plans… This is the insubordinate who's been using his destructive alchemy to carelessly interfere with our operation."

Envy spoke up, "Go ahead and eat him. He doesn't have his alchemy to stop him right now."

Gluttony was thrilled by that. "Okay!" He jumped up towards Scar, who had his had at the ready to attack while Gluttony flew at him, arms outstretched, ready to devour. Scar shoved his arm forward aimed at the homunculus's stomach and blue sparks erupted out, splitting the sin in half.

"What!" Envy roared.

Mei was still going on about Edward's appearance. "You'll pay for this! You deceived an innocent girl, and you kidnapped Xiao-Mei!" She snatched her kunai from her pouch, shooting them out and landing on a stone piece next to Envy's leg. "You'll suffer for what you've done! All of you!" Activating the symbol at her feet, blue sparks surrounded her and the kunai, causing a stone fist to emerge out of the floor, nailing Envy in the stomach, sending him, Ed, and Al flying into the air.

The brothers managed to land on their feet, steadying themselves quickly. "It's about time!" They both kneeled and clapped, placing their hands on the ground… And nothing happened. The two immediately started sprinting away, snatching the hands of the two girls near them as they attempting to avoid the flying pieces of rubble around them.

"It still isn't working!" Alphonse cried.

Ed stayed a few paces ahead, "But why is theirs!" They all ducked behind a protruding piece of debris, Ed 's breathing labored, while the other three looked at the homunculus in front of them. "This doesn't make any sense! How can they transmute?"

Envy stood in front of the two newcomers, "How can you use your alchemy here?"

Scar stood, guarded. "What do you mean?"

Ed got ready to charge forward, "I don't know. I don't have any idea, but I think this is our chance to turn things around."

"Don't be stupid and get yourself killed!" Emily scolded him, grabbing his hand before he took off.

He grinned, "Trust me, I'll be fine." She let go and he charged out from behind the rock, "Scar!" Three heads turned to look at them. "You wanna the truth about what started the war in Ishval?"

That got his attention. "In Ishval?"

Ed continued, "The truth about who shot that child and started the uprising? He's standing right there!" Ed paused and pointed at the green hulking figure near him. "It was Envy disguised as a solider!" They all gasped, and Scar turned his gaze towards the homunculus. "These guys orchestrated the entire war!" Scar looked over the group in front of him, his eyes resting on their leader whose expression didn't falter. Gluttony continued regenerating behind the furious Ishvalan.

"I'd like to hear more details about this… In between your screaming." He raised his arm out, his hand at the ready. Gluttony quickly charged at him, Mei noticed and jumped back before he reached them. Scar angled his hand behind him at the last second, covering Gluttony's face and exploding his head, shooting him further back while the sin let out a scream. "Now tell me. For what purpose did you choose to slaughter all of my people?" Mei took a step back away from Scar, sensing the hate radiating from him. "Depending on your answer, I'll send you to join God—no, you don't deserve to stand by God alongside my fallen brothers! The only solace from my wrath will be damnation!" Blue sparks flared around him as he slammed his right arm down onto the ground below, sending a shockwave of force towards where Envy stood, sending almost everyone flying into the air. The floor exploded and the pipes lining it split apart with the force.

"Woah, nice!" Greed kneeled, perched on a rock watching the scene before him. "He's got some pretty good moves for a human!"

"Greed." He looked over to his left, where Father stood. "Take care of the outsiders."

"Sure!" He hopped off and skipped over to where Envy was battling Scar. Passing by where Ashley and her sister were hiding, he stole a glance at the oldest of the two. "Why, hello there!" Stopping, he stepped closer causing her to take a step back.

"Heh, no thanks." She grimaced, pushed the younger brunette behind her.

He smirked, seemingly giving up for now, and continuing onto his main goal. Ed laid, crouched on a stone next to where Greed had suddenly stopped, determined on getting his friend back.

He glared down at him, "I know you're still in there… Ling!"

Greed looked up, smirking. "Nope, just Greed." He morphed his hand, ready to fight.

They both took off running, Ed chasing after him, both dodging the stones around them. Mei peered behind one, seeing the newly turned homunculus. "Huh? I know him! That's Ling Yao, of the Yao Clan! Right?" The dust behind her cleared and Gluttony appeared. Feeling a presence, she turned quickly, seeing the terrifying creature in front of her.

"A little girl!"

Mei shrieked and began sprinting in the direction of the other girls in the room with Xiao Mei on her shoulder, running for her life. Ashley watched on as the giant homunculus continued fighting Scar, the winning odds not in his favor despite the size difference. She was suddenly shaken into focus by the brunette beside her and looked over, seeing the small girl with the equally small panda scrambling over towards them with the ravenous creature tailing her. A shiver went up her spine at the sight and she was dragged to her feet, the two joining the younger girl in fleeing.

Envy suddenly got hit, roaring in pain and getting thrown back while Scar stood, ready to attack again. He stepped back, only to find that someone was standing behind him. "Let's talk a moment." Scar stepped back, "How are you able to use your alchemy?" Scar didn't give him an answer, instead he brought his arm up and placed his palm on Father's face, sending out blue sparks around them.

Father didn't seem fazed and instead pushed his upper body forward towards the scarred alchemist, unaffected by the transmutation. "Hm, well you are clearly still transmuting." Scar was shocked. "Physical deconstruction… No, decomposition is it?"

Scar jumped back just in time, as a flash of red sparks flooded the area around them, pushing Scar a distance away, blood shooting out around him. He was slammed onto a stone lying below, finding the attention of Mei, who then yelled out. "Mr. Scar!"

"Mei, no!" Emily looked over at the girl, but it was too late. Distracted, Mei was immediately hit by Gluttony, sending her slamming into stone as well. Gluttony stood in front of them, ready to finally finish the trio off. Xiao Mei jumped out to protect Mei, shaking where she stood. "No Xiao Mei, you need to run!" The other two cowered helplessly next to them unsure of what to do.

Gluttony pounced forward, "Time to eat you!" He was suddenly knocked out of the way by a flying suit of armor, who then braced himself after sliding against the ground.

He stood, looking towards the two. "You guys alright?" He got up, quickly scooping the smaller girl into his arms before running out of the room with the sisters trailing shortly behind him, dodging the dead chimera that sat at the entrance.

Getting out into the hall, they continued sprinting down the sewers with Mei in Al's arms looking up at him. "I never asked you to help me." She mumbled, clutching her side.

"Save the stubborn crying for later, these people kill anybody they don't have a use for! I'm getting you guys out of here!" He soon halted, stopped in their tracks by a mob of chimeras blocking the path. "There's too many of them!"

Scar came running up from behind them, stopping at the sight. "You guys! I thought you'd made it outside." He looked ahead at the creatures blocking them, and then glanced behind to see Envy and Gluttony approaching from the rear.

Alphonse looked behind them as well, seeing that their problem had just gotten worse. "Scar, can you make it to the surface with them?"

Scar glanced at him, "You would allow me to escape? Even though I'm the one responsible for the deaths of your friend's parents?"

"Yeah, well I'd rather beat you senseless, and it makes me sick having to ask you for help. But right now, we need to save these three." He looked down at the sleeping girl in his arms.

Ashley could clearly see they were running out of time, "Can you two decided on something and stop figuring out who's going to play heroine? We're a little tight on time at the moment."

Scar looked ahead and then back at the suit. "What do you plan on doing?"

The homunculi were basically in front of them at this point, Gluttony letting out a slight laugh. "I don't understand it, but for some reason, I'm important to them. They're not gonna kill me. They said they need me alive."

Blood dripped down Scars arm as it hung limply by his side, "Well, I doubt that I'd be able to get all three of them to the surface safely with the condition I'm in right now. And I have no intention of turning my back in this place just yet!" He stuck his hand in the water below, transmuting it and sending a cloud of gas into the air.

"Wait, what are you doing?" Grabbing the helmet of Alphonse's armor, he flung it towards the pipe on the wall next to the homunculus, causing sparks to fly and igniting the gas, sending an explosion towards the two.

He snatched the girl from Al's arms and grabbed the hand of the closest sister. "Come with me, now!" He muttered.

"Wait, Al!" Emily was quickly dragged along.

Smoke filled the air as Al raced to grab his helmet, "Jeez, couldn't you have warned me first? What a rude thing to do!" He glanced around, not seeing any of the previous bodies next to him. "Huh?"

Envy's hand suddenly shot out and pinned him against the wall, red sparks covering his regeneration body. "I guess you thought that it was clever igniting the hydrogen like that." Envy looked around for the scarred alchemist, only seeing the injured bodies of the chimeras lying around. "Where did they go? You better tell me now!"

"I have no idea!"

"Get up and track their scent Gluttony!" Envy shot his gaze towards his comrade, who laid on the ground with sparks covering him and smoke billowing out of his mouth. "You've used up your regenerative power. Your body's dying."

Ed sent a kick flying into Greed's shielded torso and quickly jumped back, "Hm, that was a good solid kick! This'll be more entertaining than I expected!" Greed dashed forward.

Ed used his automail arm to deflect the blows coming at him, dodging the sharp claws attached to the homunculus. "You idiot prince!" Slamming an arm forward he made contact with the sin, who held the blow with his arm. "Wake up, Ling!"

"The names Greed."

"Shut up! Give Ling his body back!" Ed held steady, not breaking contact.

"Sorry, can't do that!" Greed pushed his weight forward, breaking Ed's stance. They continued dancing around each other, landing and deflecting blows in a pattern.

Ed managed to slip a leg underneath Greed, tripping him onto his back. "Give up already you idiot! He threw a punch at him which Greed easily blocked with his fist. "What about your country? Have you forgotten all about Lan Fan?" At the sound of her name, Greed's eyes widened just as Ed threw another punch, this one hitting his cheek and throwing his head to the side. Ed stared in shock as a trail of blood dribbled out of the glaring sins mouth, and Greed used this distraction to grab Ed's arm, lift himself up, and twist it around, trapping the noisy alchemist beside him.

"Hey, Pops! I caught him for ya!"

Father approached the two. "Upstairs. I want him taken directly to Wrath." He looked to his right as the entrance once again burst open, this time revealing Envy with Alphonse trapped in his grasp and dropping a partially dead Gluttony on the ground.

"Man, you guys really man a mess of things, didn't you? If you had simply behaved yourselves, we would've let you go a long time ago.

"Brother…"

Ed walked over to Alphonse, turning his head to face the body of his friend. "He's in there, I know it. Ling's alive."
