Hi, everybody. How are you? First of all I would like to thank all of you for reading and for the very positive feedback I have received so far. I'm quite happy that you liked this little experiment, I really wasn't sure about the reception it would have in the English fandom, but now I think you could encourage me to try translating some of the other BBRae fics I've written so far.

Thanks to LilBumkin, Mr. Ursine and Thatonereader1228 for commenting and letting me know your impressions about this fic. I will respond to their comments at the end of the chapter.

Finally, before we start, I would like to clarify that in these extra or special chapters, I plan to tie up the loose ends of the main story. I hope you enjoy the extras as much as you enjoyed the main story.

Extra part 1:

If there was one thing Raven would never have imagined in her life, it was that an experience as bad and unpleasant as that incident that would force her to leave the job she loved to become a part-time employee would end up taking her to work for someone as peculiar and charismatic as Gar. He was Kory's best friend and the heart of the band they both belonged to for 10 years. He would end up becoming her boyfriend after three short months of being together, working together and sharing such special moments. Sometimes Raven couldn't help but think they were part of a nice dream from which she didn't want to wake up.

However, every time she woke up in Gar's arms or when he called her to say good morning, a small smile would form on her lips and she would be grateful that everything was real because she liked the life she had now, working on what she loved so much, rehearsing and performing with the band in exciting concerts that left her exhausted, but at the same time satisfied and excited by the energy she felt from the audience and her colleagues with every song they performed, leaving their soul on the stage; but most of all she enjoyed the chemistry and naturalness that existed between her and Gar, who each managed to snatch at least one smile from her when she least expected it.

Besides, the fact that Kory, the main responsible for all this, was at this moment on the cusp of happiness and joy, preparing together with Dick everything necessary for her wedding, was something that undoubtedly contributed a lot to the happiness that Raven enjoyed today. In short, there was nothing more that she could ask for and she felt that there was nothing that could ruin her happiness at this moment, until the day came when she finally received that visit that she feared so much and that she had worked so hard to avoid at all costs.

"Hello, my dear. How are you?" a voice said in front of the door of the apartment that Raven shared with Kory, a woman with soft and smooth white skin like Raven's, with long and straight black hair that reached her waist, with expressive eyes of a deep and crystalline blue color. "Aren't you going to invite me in?"

"Go ahead," said Raven, still impressed to see her mother there at that time of the year which used to be so busy for her at the flower shop because of the many orders she used to receive. "Did something happen? Because it's weird to see you around here at this time of year."

"And you don't think it's important that one of my girls is about to get married and the other one has finally got a boyfriend after all these years and hasn't told me?" The woman replied, pushing her way into the apartment and looking around like she was looking for something, "Where is Kory, by the way?"

"She went out a few hours ago with Dick, I think they went to pick out the party room to use for the wedding celebration or something." Raven responded by closing the door reluctantly, resigned to having to deal with her mother and the obvious disappointment she had at having found out about her relationship with Gar through a phone call with Kory, "Would you like me to make you some tea?"

"No need, honey, I can see that I arrived just as you were leaving, didn't I?" Her mother pointed at her with a slightly mischievous smile and complicity drawn on her face.

Raven only cursed in her heart when she noticed the way her mother was looking at her because she had dressed up a bit to go out with Gar that day. Her attire consisted of a tight, smooth, long-sleeved black blouse that conformed to her slender body and enhanced her figure, which had several horizontal slits in the sleeves that descended from her shoulders to her forearms, through which her snowy skin could be seen. She also wore a short skirt with a black and gray plaid pattern, which went up to a little more than 10 cm above her knees; a pair of long black leather boots in the Gothic style with leather straps instead of braids. Then a pair of wide black leather bracelets on her wrists and a thin black leather belt of the same color with small decorative silver plates towards the sides that attached to Raven's waist, were the accessories that complemented her attire along with a simple necklace made up of a thin black cord from which hung a simple and thin silver ring.

Obviously her appearance, the leather jacket hanging from her arm and the fact that she had put on a little make-up gave away completely that she had a date, so there was no point in trying to deny it, especially to someone like her mother who was the kind of person who once got an idea into her head, and they didn't stop until they proved they were right.

"That's right, I was about to leave when you arrived." Raven confessed, taking her mother by surprise, since she didn't expect such honesty from her, "but I still have a little time. Are you sure you don't want me to make you some tea? After all, it's not something that takes much time."

"I'd like you to tell me a little bit about that boy you're dating, but I guess he'll have to wait until we meet again, daughter, because I doubt you'll be back before I have to leave, right?" said Raven's mother, sighing heavily, for she knew that now she would have to wait who knows how much longer before her daughter would deign to talk to her or introduce her mysterious boyfriend.

"I'm sorry, I'll take a rain check," Raven apologized, pretending to be just as disappointed as her mother that she couldn't have the talk she had been so eagerly avoiding for a month that Kory accidentally revealed to her mother that she had a boyfriend, "Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going. See you later, mom."

"See you later, honey, and say hello to that mystery boy for me, tell him I'd like to meet him someday," replied the woman as she watched her daughter walk to the door of the apartment.

"Sure, I'll tell him as soon as I see him..."

"Surprise Rae!" Said Gar happily appearing on the other side of the door as soon as Raven opened it, making her wince in fright as she saw him suddenly there in front of her smiling as he always did "God, you're amazingly beautiful!"

Ignoring the plea reflected in his girlfriend's eyes, Gar ventured to give her a good kiss by suddenly approaching her, holding Raven's cheek with one hand while the other descended to her waist looking to bring her a little closer to him, but before he could do so Raven stepped back, leaving him confused and worried that he had stepped on her or done something that would make her angry. Before he could ask anything, he noticed that they were not alone in that apartment, because a beautiful woman who looked very much like Raven, but with blue eyes, was staring at them from the living room.

"Sorry, Rae, I didn't know you had company," the musician apologized sincerely, feeling the weight of his girlfriend's gaze on him. He was embarrassed, but still turned to the strange woman and at a steady pace addressed her with an unusually serious expression on his face, "Sorry for the intrusion, ma'am, my name is Garfield Mark Logan and I'm Raven's boyfriend. It's a pleasure to meet you."

He formally introduced himself by extending his hand to the woman in a gesture of greeting, surprising her to the point where without thinking she accepted Gar's handshake.

"Gar, this is Angela Roth," said Raven as she approached them, resigned to having to endure her mother's interrogation, "and she's my mom".

For a moment Gar froze in place, as Raven's mother looked at him without letting go of his hand, making him feel very uncomfortable. Angela, however, deliberately ignoring Gar's discomfort and Raven's threatening gaze, continued her work by assessing the man's choice of attire for dating his daughter, which consisted of a black Sherpa Trucker jacket unbuttoned, revealing the simple but presentable cocoa-brown t-shirt Gar wore underneath it. On the other hand, at the bottom he was wearing black jeans and a pair of cocoa-brown hiker boots as well. Finally, as accessories, Gar wore a large, sturdy black sports watch on his left wrist and a brown leather bracelet with interlocking brown straps. It was no big deal, but Angela had to admit that that style didn't look bad on that young man with the expressive emerald green eyes that now watched her nervously.

"The pleasure is all mine, dear," Angela finally said as she let go of Gar's hand, "I was looking forward to meeting the man with whom my daughter has been dating and I'm relieved to see that at least you don't look like a gang member.

"Thanks?" That was the only thing that occurred to Gar at the time because he didn't know if that woman was testing him or not, "I was looking forward to meeting you too, Mrs. Roth."

"Please, dear, call me Angela," said Raven's mother, smiling cordially and then headed for the dining room, "and since we both wanted to get to know each other, why don't we take this opportunity and get to know each other better? What do you say?"

"Okay / No!" Said Gar and Raven in unison turning to look at each other, she seemed to say to him with the look: ¨What? No! Shut up you idiot¨, while his look said: I don't know what the hell you want me to do woman!

"Relax honey, I'm not planning on spoiling your date, I just want to get to know Garfield a little better while we enjoy the delicious tea you were going to make, remember?" She said innocently, causing Raven to almost explode a vein in her temple because of the brazen way her mother had managed to turn things around in her favour.

"Well, you win." Raven snarled, forcing a smile as she glared at Gar, making him realize what lay ahead once they got out of it, "but we'll leave as soon as you're done with this."

Raven could only imagine this unfortunate encounter ending in disaster, just as it had happened every time her mother had managed to "catch" and "interrogate" any of the boys she and Kory had tried to date during their teenage years. Although both of them had on more than one occasion decided to ignore Angela's "verdict", the truth was that no one had a better eye than she did to determine whether a man was really worth it or not. Until now Angela had never been wrong about any of her verdicts, no matter how hard Raven tried to admit it. Even Dick had a hard time during the interrogation, and Angela had known him since he was a child, since he had been a friend of Raven's since childhood.

However, Angela finally defined him as a "good, serious and reliable man" who would surely make Kory very happy, and she was right… as always.

This was why Raven was deeply afraid that Gar would not get a good verdict from his mother, and although she did not plan to break up with him just because of his mother's impression of him, she did not want his mother's strange "powers" to tarnish his image of Gar even a little.

"Don't worry," Gar whispered in her ear as he helped her prepare the snacks they would eat while talking to Angela, "it'll be all right, trust me.

After he had finished arranging the sandwiches on a tray, Gar kissed his girlfriend's forehead affectionately and then took the tray along with the dishes that each of them would use and walked over to the dining room table smiling the way he always did. Raven watched him for a moment before taking in her hands the tray on which she had placed the teapot, the cups for each of them and a small sugar bowl, and then heading for the dining room to join Gar and her mother, feeling a little silly for having cared so much. After all, it was impossible for her mother to find any fault with Gar other than his indifference to getting hurt or his tendency to overwork himself, and even if she did find, Raven trusted him and that was all that mattered.

To Angela's surprise, the man's overwhelming frankness and simplicity was something she had never faced in her life, because it was not usual to meet people like him very often and therefore it was a little harder than usual for her to get the answers she was looking for.

"I can see that you are very eloquent in expressing yourself Garfield" recognized Angela receiving another smile from that young man and a mocking smile from his daughter who seemed to be having a lot of fun with what was happening. "Could you tell me what you think of my daughter and what you like about her?"

"Of course. Raven is just amazing," Gar responded confidently, not realizing how Raven was watching him out of the corner of her eye at the time. "She is very clear about her priorities, not afraid of hard work, and always willing to learn everything she doesn't know in order to improve. She has a strong character, is not afraid to express her opinion and is strong enough to defend her point of view, but at the same time she is flexible enough to recognize her mistakes; she is also very brave and willing to defend what she believes is right".

Raven had to admit that hearing her boyfriend describe her with such emotion was simply embarrassing, but at the same time it was very interesting to know the image that Gar had of her, including both her good and bad aspects. It was also fun to see him list every aspect as confidently as if he were a professional in the field.

"She's the best friend anyone could ever want and was a great support to me during a difficult period in my life, she always supported me and was there to give me the push I needed when it came time to make a decision and move on," Obviously at the time Gar was referring to when they held the Viking funeral to burn Tara's things "when I met her I thought she was attractive, when I first heard her sing I was enchanted by her beautiful voice; when she attended me the day I hit my head, I was intoxicated by her characteristic, relaxing smell. In short, I was captivated, but it wasn't until two months later that I realized I was in love with her, and then it took me another month to find a way to let her know.

"In short, only three months after the two of you met, you decided to start a relationship." Angela concluded by sipping her cup of tea while staring at Garfield, who now seemed unaffected by the way she saw him, "Don't you think that was a bit of a rash decision on your part?

"No," Gar replied immediately and without hesitation as he put one of his snacks in his mouth, then took another and offered it to Raven, who accepted the gesture with a slight smile of thanks for how attentive he was to her, "if we were a couple of hormonal teenagers what we did might have been hasty and impulsive, But the truth is that both Raven and I are responsible adults, we have our priorities well established and after the incredible connection we developed in those months we decided to move up a level and try to be more than just good friends. I in particular didn't want to let her go so easily and I don't plan to do that now or in the future.

"And what will you do if everything fails and your relationship has no future?" Angela countered by pushing him even harder not to give up yet.

"That won't happen, because I think there is a future for us," said Gar with the same strength and determination with which Angela tested him, causing a strong blush to appear on Raven's cheeks, who tried to hide it by drinking more tea, even though her cup was already empty "but in case some strange cosmic event makes that possibility real, I am sure that our friendship will remain intact, not for nothing were we friends before we were lovers.

"I have to admit that I am surprised by your optimism, my dear," admitted Angela as she poured herself some more tea while stepping back a little after her failed attack, "although optimism is one thing and naivety is quite another."

"I know that very well, Angela, but if we don't believe in what we do, then no one else will." Gar said, looking at Raven's mother with that tenacity and determination he used to show when he was totally convinced of what she was saying, "and I would really like you to understand that and accept it, because I don't intend to break up with Rae for anything in the world and I would prefer not to be on bad terms with you if possible."

And there was an unexpected declaration of war that took mother and daughter alike by surprise because of the way Gar had behaved up to now, none of them expected such a subtle but sudden turn of events from the musician.

A heavy silence settled over the dining room as Angela and Gar looked straight into each other's eyes firmly and defiantly as neither of them had any intention of giving in. Raven could feel the intensity of that duel of glances and the overwhelming tension in the air, but as much as she was dying to intervene, she decided to let Gar take care of this matter until the end.

After a few minutes, which took Raven forever, Angela finally sighed, closing her eyes, and then looking at her daughter so seriously that Gar began to worry that he had gone too far with his little declaration of war.

"We need to talk, alone," she ordered, rising from the table and heading for her daughter's room with a soft, elegant walk.

"Wait for me here, I'll be back soon," Raven indicated to Gar with a fleeting kiss before following her mother and locking herself in her room.

A knot formed in the musician's throat when the two women disappeared from his sight behind that mahogany door. Waiting had never been his strong suit, and just when he didn't know whether he had made Raven's mother angry or not, every measly second that passed without them coming out was a torment to Gar, who had already drunk at least three more cups of tea and devoured half the sandwiches he had helped to order on that shiny metal tray.

"Hell, it hasn't been five minutes and I already feel like I'm going crazy." He thought out loud connecting his headset to his phone and then quickly browsing his playlist for a song to help him relax and after a couple of minutes he found it, "Great, just what I need."

While this was going on in the dining room, in Raven's room she didn't think twice about confronting her mother as soon as she was sure she had locked the door to her room so Gar couldn't hear them talking.

"Well?" Raven asked, crossing her arms as she watched her mother inquisitively, "Let's get this over with."

"And what would have been the point of the dramatic exit if we had ended this quickly? You have to learn to make men suffer a little bit, dear," Raven shook her head and blinked a couple of times, confused by the simplicity with which her mother said that as she tried to see what Gar was doing in the dining room through the little hole in one of the walls behind one of the posters in her room, "It's an important and basic part of feminine charm.

"Excuse me? No. I don't think I understand what you're saying." Raven confessed, still shocked by her mother's sudden change of attitude, "you could stop trying to spy on Gar and tell me what the hell is going on here."

Exasperated, Angela turned to her daughter, looking at her as if to say, "These young people don't know how to have fun now," to which Raven just raised an eyebrow, urging her to start explaining herself once and for all, so that perhaps she could come to understand what she was trying to achieve with all this cheap drama.

"You got yourself a good man, dear, I can see he loves you very much and respects you. You have good chemistry too." Angela finally gave a sweet smile to her daughter who once again looked at her in amazement, "That boy is one of the good ones and I like the way he's willing to stand up for what he loves."

"So why did you act like something bad had happened? Gar is probably worried sick that you hate him or that you and I are going to fight or something," complained Raven in disgust and her mother smiled funny and exasperated her even more, "I don't see the fun in it, mom."

"Oh honey, it's true that I like the boy, but that doesn't mean that I'm going to overlook the way he challenged me so easily and that's why I wanted to make him suffer a little," she explained as if that was the most normal thing in the world making Raven realize how malicious and terrifying her mother could be when she proposed to him. Even Raven had begun to feel a little sorry for her father, "it's just a little game to teach him a lesson, relax."

Raven almost contradicted her until the sound of a knock on the outside caught the attention of both of them, urging her to open the door to her room to discover that the person responsible for that knock was Gar, who drummed skillfully on the table to the rhythm of the song she was hearing at the time.

"What are he doing?" Angela asked, looking at him strangely.

"When Gar is nervous or worried, he looks for a song to help him calm down and then he starts singing," Raven explained, making his mother look at her questioningly, "In a minute you'll understand.

93 million miles from the sun
People get ready get ready
Because here it comes
It's a light, a beautiful light
Over the horizon into our eyes
Oh, my my how beautiful
Oh my beautiful mother
She told me:
"Son, in life you're gonna go far
If you do it right you'll love where you are
Just know, wherever you go
You can always come home

93 Millions Miles by Jazon Mraz, was the song that Gar had chosen and, just like that time when he and Raven had first sung together, Gar sang each verse with passion, transmitting the feeling that was reflected in the lyrics of this great piece to the two women who watched him in silence.

240 thousand miles from the moon
We've come a long way to belong here
To share this view of the night, a glorious night
Over the horizon is another bright sky
Oh, my my how beautiful
Oh my irrefutable father
He told me:
"Son, sometimes it may seem dark
But the absence of the light is a necessary part
Just know, you're never alone
You can always come back home, home"

You can always come back

Angela contemplated with astonishment the beautiful interpretation of that young man. At first sight, he did not give the impression of being capable of doing something like that, much less of appearing to be one of those who had the gift of moving those around him with his voice. In spite of not having any musical accompaniment, Angela could feel how the voice of that young man permeated her interior in a very pleasant way. And upon noticing the way in which her daughter looked at him and the way in which she smiled, she could not help smiling in the same way.

Every road is a slippery slope
There is always a hand that you can hold on to
Looking deeper through the telescope
You can see that your home's inside of you

Just know, that wherever you go
No you're never alone
You will always get back home, home, home

93 million miles from the sun
People get ready get ready,
Because here it comes
It's a light, a beautiful light
Over the horizon into our eyes

Making a small roll with his fingers on the table Gar stopped singing, stopped playing the next track on his phone, inhaled deeply as much air as he could and then exhaled it slowly feeling more relaxed and ready to face Raven's mother again. He can't help but feel a little embarrassed, though, realizing that I had been watched all this time by Raven and her mother.

Smiling, Gar scratched the back of his neck in embarrassment before taking off his hearing aids and connecting his gaze to Angela's again.

"You have a nice voice, dear," flattered Angela as she returned to him followed by Raven, "I'd like to hear you sing again the next time we meet.

"That means that..."

"Don't get excited," he was abruptly interrupted by Angela stopping him in his tracks as he stood up ready to embrace her, "I still don't approve of you, my dear, I'm just postponing the verdict for now. Am I clear?"

"Clear, madam," said Gar smiling broadly before embracing Angela effusively, lifting her into the air and spinning her around under Raven's amused gaze, "I swear you won't regret this!

"She will if you don't let go of her now," Raven suggested while smiling amusedly at the scene, saving her dizzy mother from losing her remaining decorum by vomiting up her breakfast.

Angela had to hold on to Raven and Gar so that she wouldn't fall to the floor in a hurry before taking a seat at the dining room table again.

"You should leave now or you'll be late for your date," suggested the still dizzy Angela as her fondness for her daughter's boyfriend began to change into a strong desire to hang him at that moment, "Take care of my daughter Garfield and don't make me regret giving you another chance.

Understanding Angela's threat between the lines, Raven said goodbye to her, took Gar by the hand, and hurried out of the apartment before he ruined the good impression he had made on her mother. While Gar only said goodbye to his mother-in-law from the entrance to the apartment, then closed the door behind him and let himself be dragged out of the building by Raven.

"And that's my mother. Lovely, isn't she?" Raven asked sarcastically, turning to her boyfriend who still had a big smile on his face.

"Honestly I was nervous since I found out she's your mom, although I had to imagine it because she's a older version of you practically." Gar said, feeling that he would explode if he didn't say it. Raven just raised an inquisitive eyebrow, "and boy, has your mother aged well. Thanks to that I now know what you'll look like in a few years and I like it."

"Calm down, cowboy," she replied, stopping him with one hand as he made a gesture to kiss her again, "Let's take it one step at a time. First our date and then we'll see how far we can go. Yes?"

"I know we'll go far, you'll see," said Gar, outlining that radiant, characteristic smile of his that always made Raven feel that somehow everything was going to be all right. "Are you ready for our date?"

"I'm always ready, Gar," she replied with a faint smile as she made her way to Gar's impressive 4x4 Ford Ranger Limited blue double-cabin pickup, which Gar used when he wanted to give his motorcycle a break, when he needed to carry heavy stuff, and for any and all dates they'd both had so far. "Where are we going this time? Or would you rather it was a surprise?"

"That was the plan originally, but everything that happened with your mother shortened our time considerably and we can't take things as calmly as I'd like, so I'll have to surprise you now, Rae." Gar explained as he pulled a pair of ID cards from his jacket pocket that said "VCM EXPO V.I.P. Pass" and handed them to Raven. "Surprise! We have full access to the great Vintage and Custom motorcycle exposition, which will take place in the city today, all the great icons and brands in the industry will be present and as..."

Suddenly Raven silenced him by sealing his lips with one of her thin little fingers, blinking a couple of times in astonishment trying to check if that was true or if she was just imagining it. Gar wanted to ask her so many things, but at that moment she was simply speechless since that exhibition was the event she had been waiting for the most since it was announced at the beginning of the year. She would have killed someone just to be able to go, but the Fire Nation came and attacked and the incident with the scumbag from the animation studio she worked at before occurred. This took away her chance of being able to get any tickets before they were sold out, forcing her to have to resign herself to watching the sample videos that each brand would publish on the event's website.

This was part of one of the many frustrations she had shared with Gar before they started dating during her last month working for him in his recording studio.

"How did you...?" was the only thing she could say that was still shocked, receiving a sympathetic smile from her boyfriend.

"Let's just say I have a lot of friends and one of them, Victor Stone, helped me get these V.I.P. passes" Gar answered simply as he opened the door to the passenger seat of his pickup truck and helped her in, then closed the door and ran to the driver's seat, "he's my best friend and when I told him about you, he wanted to meet you and since he's going to be working on the exhibition I asked him to get me a couple of passes.

"Thanks Gar, it's the best present someone ever gave me in my whole life," she said smiling sincerely to him as she saw him with those beautiful amethyst eyes shining with joy and something else that made Gar's heart turn over, while a prevailing desire to kiss her took over his whole body.

"I'd do anything to make you happy, Rae." Gar managed to say it barely, forcing himself to control his impulses to hug and kiss her as if there were no tomorrow, because he knew that if he gave in they would never make it to the exhibition and he couldn't allow those passes to be lost after seeing that smile and look that still made his skin was bristly. "I'll take you to eat something first and then we'll go to the exhibition. Are you okay with that?"

"I would never turn down a good meal with you, Gar" she said leaning over him and capturing his lips in a deep and meaningful kiss that took the musician's breath away, then slowly separating from him, forcing him to summon up all his willpower to do nothing else at that moment but watch her inquisitively. "Shall we go?

Of course she would say something like that, Gar knew it and that's why he just smiled widely, while he lit his pickup and then set off for what he was sure would be a memorable date and a memorable day for both of them. And from the suggestive way Raven had looked at him after that kiss, something told him that he would be pleasantly surprised at the end of the day as well.

Well, I hope you liked this first extra chapter. As you can see Angela Roth (Arella), Raven's mother appeared in this chapter, so tell me, how did you like the interaction between Angela and Gar?

Now, I'll respond to the comments:

Thatonereader1228: Thank you, that's great that you liked the whole story, to be honest the original final chapter was different, but at the last minute I decided to modify a specific part, as I was made aware that it didn't add anything to the story. What did you think of this chapter?

Mr. Ursine: Hahaha. Thank you very much, I'm very happy to know that you liked the whole story. I hope not to disappoint you with this and the following extra chapters. Thank you for your support. What do you think of my motherly version of Angela Roth?
