Welcome back guys, I'm sure you've noticed my new name. It's pretty cool. Anyway, I think you guys should check my Poll and also, review with your ideas of what should be done next as mentioned in the A/N

"Price.. Ah, we lost the girl. Looks like the helo took her to a diamond mine in Siberia." Sandman said over the phone, tone defeated.

Price cursed. "We're gonna have one shot to grab the President before he gives up the launch codes and Makarov turns Europe into glass. Once we get boots on the ground, it's going to get lively down there."

Sandman chuckled. "Hopefully you can keep up, old man."

"I know you Yanks like to take all the credit, so Zero, Yuri and I will keep the neighbors in check while we roll hard to secure the hostages." Price smiled, looking at the computer.

"Zero? Of Skeleton Crüe?" Sandman asked as the diamond mine site was analyzed. A bunker underground is located. The team is located in the elevators at the insertion point.

"That's me." Zero said quietly.

"Okay. Weapons tight, guys. No one likes a dead hostage."

Truck spoke up "What's the score, boss?"

"Everyone's hostile." Sandman stated.

Grinch chuckled on the line. "Ain't that the truth."

["Down the Rabbit Hole"]

[October 14th – 11:08:14]

[Delta Force/Task Force 141 and Skeleton Crüe - Disavowed]

[Eastern Siberia, Russia]

Price, Yuri, Sandman, Truck, Grinch, and Zero were in an elevator going down the diamond mine. The car stopped, Price taking down and killing the elevator guard.

Sandman looked up. "Ready?"

Grinch sighed, nodding. "This thing go any faster?" He asked, getting antsy.

"Easy, Grinch. Top off your rifles." Sandman ordered.

"Get ready." Zero locked her MG36 as they stopped on a lower floor.

The doors opened up, gates still closed, allowing them to see a tunnel with guards patrolling.

"Now!"

They opened fire on the guards, taking them down in a spray of bullets.

Grinch paled as he spotted a RPG. "Contact! Twelve o'clock!"

"Look out!" Yuri grabbed the ones closest to the gate and pulled them back as the rocket hit the elevator.

Grinch coughed. "Ah, Shit!" He groaned as the elevator shuddered.

"Hold on!" Truck yelled, the elevator falling free and crashing at the bottom of the mine. Shell shocked, they all got up.

Sandman coughed through the dust. "Status?!"

"I'm good." The Delta Force members grunted, locking their weapons ready.

"We're clear!" The 141 and Zero called.

Russians at the bottom of the mine took aim, opening fire at them,Sandman taking cover with Delta. "Heads up!"

"Shit! Turn on your NODs, it's dark as night down here!" Grinch yelled out.

Yuri turned on his night vision and fired back, taking down the Russians firing at them.

They opened the elevator doors and entered the tunnel, engaging more Russians.

"Grinch, Truck, and I will sweep left!" Sandman called.

Price came alongside. "The rest of you, on me!"

They moved through the tunnels and come a par of the mine, eliminating Russians along the way.

"Targets! Twelve o'clock high!" Truck advised.

Grinch affirmed. "I see 'em!"

"Sort 'em out!" Price called.

They pushed through the mine and into another tunnel, no enemies in sight.

"All clear." Truck confirmed.

Sandman nodded, sweeping the area behind them. "Truck, you're up."

"On it." Truck took out a buzzsaw and cut off a hatchet door's lock bars. Zero came up and kicked down the door, spray-firing at enemies inside. They then moved on up the stairs through the next room and further into the mine.

"Keep moving! Go!" Price ordered.

They cleared the area, looking around for any others. "We're gonna need another way out of here!" Grinch called.

Sandman pointed. "Stairwell, left side! Let's go!" he said as they moved up the stairs to the left, killing a couple more Russians, and soon reached level 3 of the mine.

"Overlord, this is Sandman. We're at the bottom of the mine. We're gonna need air support." Sandman called.

"Affirmative, Sandman. We'll chop a predator to you."

Sandman looked to Price, Yuri, and Zero. "Ready?"

"Try and keep up." Zero smirked, fixing her beanie.

Price and Sandman kicked open the doors to the outside and quickly ended the guards at the rail. Outside, two Little Bird helicopters flew overhead, being chased by a Russian Hind. Moving out into the open bottom of the mine, the two leaders of the groups jumped the rail.

"Hop the rail! Move it!"

As they jumped over the rail into the open, the two Little Birds drop off reinforcements after they lost the Hind.

"Viper 4, troops are on the deck." Viper 4-1 informed.

Viper 6-1 came next. "Viper 6, team is on the ground. Going into cover pattern."

"UAV is on station with a full load of AGMs. Ready for targets." Overlord commed.

Yuri took out the Predator control rig and manned the UAV. He pressed the fire button, a missile hurling down to the mine and eliminated hostiles.

"Nice work. Multiple KIAs." Overlord called.

The Predator drone took about ten seconds before it was ready for the next targets. "AGMs ready."

As the team moved forward, the Little Birds flew over to provide aerial cover.

"Viper 4, taking out targets at the construction site. Inbound and hot, hostile movements on the construction deck at top floor. Engaging Gun run."

The 141 used the right flank to reach construction yard, vehicles riding up and sliding in the snow to a halt.

"Viper 4-1, Vehicles on the road orienting west-east. Engaging/Gun run." Came the voice of Viper 4's pilot, the Little Bird buzzing over and eliminating the vehicles.

The team moved forward into the construction area, Sandman throwing a knife into a Russian's throat. "Cut through the construction yard! There's more cover! Viper Six, we're moving in to the construction yard! Watch your fire!"

"Copy that, 0-1. We're movin' to the next area." 6-1 said.

As they pass through the construction yard, Yuri took cover behind a few crates, taking out the targeting computer to take another shot with drone, the camera feed blinking out as Predator was shot down.

Sandman cursed. "Overlord, a SAM just took out our UAV! We need another way into the mine!"

"We're not getting in there without some heavy firepower!" Zero stated, taking cover.

"Solid copy, Sandman. Odin Six, payload target coordinates are as follows: 7 9 4 4."

Price looked around. "Everyone sit tight! Here comes the thunder!"

At the end of the mine, a series of artillery strikes blanketed the area, eliminating hostiles in fire and shrapnel.

Zero stood, pumping her weapon hand up. "Fuck Yeah! Now that's more like it!"

"Inside! Now!" Sandman called before they ran into the tunnels at the other end of the mine. "Overlord, we're in! Approaching the target now." He radioed, watching as Zero and Yuri went up.

They moved in tandem, swiftly taking out two Russians trying to get up. Once the two cleared out the room, Zero nodded at the end of the tunnel, a closed door at the end.

Price motioned to Yuri. "Go ahead and take care of the door, lad."

Yuri went up to the door, the others stacking up on him as he planted the breaching charge on the door. It exploded, prompting the group to move in, but there was no one in there except for Alena Vorshevsky, tied to a chair.

"Wait! It's the daughter." Truck called.

Zero quickly rushed up to her, talking quietly in Russian. She then untied Alena and laid her on the table, checking over her.

"Metal 0-1, what is your status? Have you secured the President?" Overlord inquired.

Sandman pressed a finger to his ear. "Negative, Overlord, but we have the girl." He informed, watching Zero.

"We'll prep a team for extraction. Continue searching for the President."

They heard her whispering something in Russian, Zero leaning in.

Truck watched as he saw Alena's lips move. "She trying to say something..?"

"они взяли его глубже в рудник..."

Zero smiled at the girl softly. "She says they took her father deeper into the mine."

"Then that's where we're going. C'mon." Sandman declared as he locked his weapon ready once more.

A Delta soldier came in, requesting extraction for the daughter. "Overlord this is Theta 1-1, I need a medevac for a critical casualty, she's hurt bad. We're on our way to the RV, co-ordinate 4. We're six minutes out — that's zero-six mikes. How copy, over?"

Sandman and Price kicked another door open and entered into another tunnel. The group then engaged more Russians as they moved in. When they came out after eliminating the opposition, they spotted Russians moving President Vorshevsky across the bridge down below.

Price pointed. "On the catwalk!"

"There he is! I see him!" Grinch confirmed.

Price grinned. "Then we're not too late! Keep pushing!" He yelled over the gunfire.

They eliminated the Russians on the catwalk, trying to get to the President in time. The hostiles moving the President entered an elevator and went down, earning a simultaneous curse from the group. They got on the catwalk, looking down at the bottom of the shaft.

Sandman pulled out his cord. "Hook up!"

They all hooked lines onto the railing and climbed over, looking down and up. "Ready?" Price asked. With a nod, the group rappelled down the mine. As they got to the bottom, the hostiles and Vorshevsky were spotted moving towards a bunker room.

"There they are!" Zero called.

Truck affirmed this. "He's right there! Right there!" He pointed, just as they landed at the bottom and engaged more enemies along the top of the bunker and on the sides, the bunker's doors closing.

Yuri cursed, taking down a Rocketeer. "They're closing the blast doors!"

After a few moments of heavy fire, the group finally cleared the area.

Grinch looked around, checking for any movement. He saw a Russian reaching for his sidearm. He swiftly pierced the man with his rifle. "Clear!"

"We gotta get through that door!" Zero called as she and Price came up to the door, checking over it.

Price growled, slamming his fist on it. "It's reinforced steel! We can't get through this!"

"Any bright ideas?" Grinch looked around.

Price looked at Zero, who looked up at the roof. "I've got one. Up top. Follow me." The Captain said as he led them up the stairs and to the floor just above the bunker room. "Get charges here, here and here!" Price motioned in a circle.

They went to work and placed a circle of belt-buckled C4 charges around them and detonated them after they ducked back in cover.

The floor collapsed and they breached the bunker room all jumping in with small arms. Every thing seemed to be in Slow-motion, each of them taking out the hostiles before they could execute Vorshevsky. The room was clear and the joint group secured the President.

"Overlord, jackpot. The President is secure." Sandman informed.

"Solid copy. Gather your team and proceed to the RV."

Price cut the ties and helped Vorshevsky up.

"My daughter..." The President asked.

Zero smiled, taking his other arm. "She's alright. She's alive."

Explosions erupted, causing quakes the mine. "What the hell!" Truck yelled out, looking around.

"Move! Move!" Price ordered.

Sandman tapped his ear. "Overlord, the place is gonna collapse any minute. The birds need to come to us!"

"Copy that. Hammer 1 is now en route. ETA: thirty seconds. Standby."

They moved up the rubble and held their positions at the railing, Zero jumping on the emplaced weapon and began to fire, holding back incoming hostiles.

"Hold this position! Evac will be here in thirty seconds!"

Truck let off a burst, growling. "More bad guys inbound!"

"Watch the left flank!" Grinch yelled up.

Sandman cursed as he shifted his fire to the left with Zero, both working in tandem. "Hammer 1, you gonna bail us out of this or what?!" He cried into the Comms.

"Almost there. Just hold on." 1-6 responded while the group continued to hold their position against hostiles.

A Black Hawk and a Little Bird swooped in from above and supported the team with volleys of fire from Miniguns and 30 MMs. "Looks like our ride's here!" Grinch called.

"Metal 0-1, this is Hammer 1-6, let's get the hell out of here."

Sandman nodded. "Sounds good, 1-6! Alright, let's move! Go!"

They quickly moved down the stairs and through the mine, keeping the President in a tight loop. An RPG hit the Little Bird, sending it spinning. "I'm hit! I'm hit! Going down!" Vulture 6-1's pilot cried.

The resulting explosion knocked down Yuri, causing the man to black out for a moment.

"Yuri!" Zero and Price both yelled, rushing over.

Yuri blinked awake, seeing Truck and Grinch holding off hostiles as the Black Hawk landed, Zero over him and keeping him covered.

"Get the President on board! We got to get the hell outta here!" Hammer 1-6's pilot called urgently.

Grinch turned, moving to get the President on board the Black Hawk. "President's secure!" He said, returning to his position to hold off the Russians.

Zero and Truck helped Yuri up, the Russian loyalist struggling to keep awake. "Hang in there, I got ya!" Truck yelled over fire.

As they drug Yuri towards the chopper, Sandman and Price fired back at the hostiles together, taking them down with expert ease.

Sandman nudged the Captain, nodding back. "Price! You got to go! Make sure the president gets out!"

"Don't even think about it, mate! We're in this together!" Price retorted.

Sandman shook his head, still firing. "Grab yo-"

"RPG!" Was Grinch's interrupting cry as an RPG round flew past them, through the open doors of the Black Hawk.

"Truck, cover the right side!"

Price grabbed the leader of Delta's arm. "You better be right behind me!"

Price turned, handing Yuri his M4A1 and helped him up while Truck covered the right side. As soon as Yuri locked the M4, firing at the hostiles, he saw Grinch roll to dodge an RPG round. Sandman tossed Truck a mag as he reloaded and resumed firing. One hostile made a run towards Truck, but Truck rammed him over his shoulder and killed him with a curbstomp.

Grinch dropped his empty M14 and pulled out his twin pistols, firing them at different directions. An RPG round nearly struck Sandman as he continued to fire.

Another hostile ran towards Sandman, who took out his knife and stabbed him in the chest, and then threw it at another incoming hostile. A round struck his right arm, forcing him to drop his weapon and draw out his pistol with his free left hand and resume firing.

Price got Yuri into the chopper, Zero still standing just infront of the Helo to fire her recently acquired RPD at the enemies. President Vorshevsky leaned down helped the injured Yuri up and Price hopped into the helicopter.

"Sandman! It's time to go! C'mon!" Price yelled as Zero was struck in the arm, the woman stumbling back on the floor of the chopper as she fired the LMG one handed while the Bipod steadied her aim on the Russians.

Sandman shook his head, firing. "Just go! Get out of here!"

An alarm blared, earning their attention.

"RPG!" Truck screamed, the RPG barely missed them as the Black Hawk began to take off.

"Hang on!"

Sandman waved back at them. "Just go! Go!"

"We can't stay here! We gotta leave!" The helicopter pilot told Price as they lifted off. Sandman, Grinch, and Truck still fired, holding off hostiles as the mine began to collapse.

Zero looked up at the pilot. "No! Get us back down there!"

"It's too hot! We go back, we all die!" The Pilot Retorted.

The helicopter flew out of the mine as it collapsed, a huge cloud of debris flying up.

Price kept calling over the comms, hand over his eyes. "Sandman, do you read me?! Sandman, come in! Sandman, do you copy? Sandman, are you still there?"

Zero placed a bloodied hand on his shoulder. "John... He's gone. They're gone.."

Price looked down, slamming his fist into the wall of the Helo. "Fuck!" He yelled.

A week had passed, the disavowed units were now sitting in a conference room, with the Heads of the C.I.A, MI6, KGB, and the Canadian Secret Intelligence Service. Both presidents of Russia and United States were there as well as they reviewed the case presented.

To determine the Guilt or Innocence of Task Force One Four One and Task Force Eighty Four.

"Captain Price.. In light of your squad and Task Force Eight-Four's rescue of President Vorshevsky, the boards of the Intelligence Agencies have decided to, per say, hear your side of the story." The CIA director stated.

MacMillan nodded, the Captain standing. He then began to speak.

Zero fidgeted slightly when it came to her, standing and looking towards the Board.

"Lieutenant?" The KGB director asked as he looked to the woman.

Zero swallowed as she placed her hands on the table top. "Lieutenant Olivia Kirill-Corvylov. Second in command of Task Force Eight Four. My debrief entails the very same details as Captain Price's own. I heard it when General Hershel Von Shepherd III betrayed his own unit with the unit dubbed 'Shadow Company.'"

"But, what is stated is pure Speculation. We're here for proof, not conjecture." The CIA director stated.

Zero fumed. "With all due respect, Sir." She said with venom. "Vladimir Makarov knew where Shepherd kept his secret Afghanistan Base, he knew that Makarov would see Private First Class Joseph Allen for who he was. And if that isn't enough.." She looked to Yuri. "This man was there when Shepherd sold your country to that terrorist to start the bloodiest war we have seen in history."

President Vorshevsky nodded to the limping Yuri. "It is true, sir. I saw it unfold before I was found out by Makarov." Yuri stated.

"Yuri... Verkansky.. Correct? If what you say is true, we will over throw this case. President Vorshevsky has already extended his pardon for you, should the others and the CIA deem you guilty..." The American man stated. He then looked to the others, all of them shaking their heads.

"Very well. In light of.. No evidence to crimes committed.. The board had passed a verdict. Please stand."

President Vorshevsky and President Alexander stood with the 141 and Skeleton Crüe.

"We, The Board of Intelligence, and the Presidents of Russia and The United States of America, hereby find the two task forces not guilty and Re-instated into Active Duty to hunt down Vladimir Makarov."

Zero breathed softly, looking to Price, Soap, and Yuri.

"This is a Joint Effort, and will require your full attention to get ahead of Makarov and neutralize the threat. You are free to leave, but you must be on your hunt within the end of this week. Good luck.. And Godspeed."

"Thousands of people have gathered today as reports have confirmed that peace talks between Russia and the US are about to begin... In other news, the Ultranationalist leader, Vladimir Makarov, is still at large..." A news reporter said as the four sat in a bar, all of them looking rough.

"Lass.. I'm sorry.. About the Crüe.." Soap said, keeping himself easy on his movements.

Zero shook her head. "They'd want me to do this.." She said, taking a drink. She remembered the promise that Wolf made them all, years ago.

A night at this very bar.

Yuri placed an arm around her, hugging her softly. "You alright?"

His response was her tears soundlessly falling to the bar top as she took a swig from her beer. "No, but I want to drink it away. Who's with me?"

Review, vote, smile my friends. I'll be posting a memorial chapter soon.
