I was Hector, prince of Troy, the greatest fighter in history. Wading through the enemy troops, I slashed and dodged, parried, and stabbed.

Finally, I found Achilles in his shining gold armor, leading the Myrmidons, the fierce warriors born from ants.

"You!" I pointed at Achilles, and shouted, "Fight me alone!"

The soldiers around me stopped fighting and formed a rough circle. Achilles stepped out of the crowd and raised his spear. He looked smaller and shorter than I expected, but that just makes him weaker.

I stepped out of my chariot and took out my spear.

"Achilles, I challenge you to single combat!" I yelled, as my troops banged their spears again and again against their shields.

"I accept," Achilles replied coldly.

We started walking along the perimeter of the circle, holding our shield up and locking our spears, looking for weaknesses. I had an 8-shaped shield with the slots on the side to put my spear through. Achilles is using a perfectly round shield, a piece of plywood covered with animal hide.

I suddenly step out of orbit and trusted and spear, it deflected off his shield and gave him a chance to attack, he swung his spear and hit me in the hips. Pain rushed to my brain as I threw away and shield and drew my sword. I yelled and charged, blocking one of his spear strikes. He raises his spear to swing at me from above, but I had anticipated that I raised my shield and cracked his spear.

He cursed and drew his sword. I swung at him but he ducked, then he tried to stab me from under my shield, he thrust but the strike was blocked by my shield. I stabber downward and cut him along the spine. He howled in pain how he pushed his shield up, knocking me away. He tried to stand up, but I tripped him, letting him fall on his butt. I knocked his shield out of his hands and yelled, "STAND UP, YOU COWARD, STAND UP AND FIGHT ME!"

My troops cheered, I stepped on his head and whispered in his ear,

"Surrender, and I won't harm you."

"No…" He gritted his teeth and replied.

"Then you SHALL DIEEEEE!"

I stood upraised my sword and stabbed him in the heart, ending his misery.

I looked at the greek soldiers, their eyes were wild with fear, good, I thought, Now I will show they their "champion's" head. I knelt on again and lifted the helmet.

I don't know who was more surprised: Me or the greeks

The man wasn't Achilles, it was his brother, Patroclus.
