"Mitsuki, you ever think you could try going out with someone…nice?" Inko asked.

Mitsuki looked up from her lunch. "Ugh. Come on Inko this again? Is this because of me and Yamamoto breaking up?"

It was lunch time, school cafeteria. A time where the two would often meet together, eat, chat, and have Inko try to mother her best friend. And occasionally it actually worked!

"W-well that and a lot of the boys you date tend to…well…leave a lot to be desired…"

"You mean they're colossal assholes?"

"N-no! I-I mean…yes."

"Aw come on Inko! If you're scared one of them will hurt me or something you don't need to worry, I can take care of myself! I mean look at all the lousy dates I've sent to the hospital! "

Inko sighed, "Yeah, that's kind of the problem."

"Ugh. What are you my mother?"

"Well somebody has to be…"

"Ha! Touché Inko. But wait, why am I not allowed to mother you? I mean your mom isn't exactly involved with your life either!"

"Because I'm a responsible and well-adjusted individual while you were voted 'Most likely to either succeed or go to prison' in our yearbook last year?"

"And proud of it! I campaigned hard for that title! Besides you're friends with me, so how well-adjusted could you really be."

Inko smiled, "Maybe you've got a point. On the other hand, your father says I'm the only reason you're half of a decent student."

Mitsuki threw back her head and let out a laugh. "Yeah. Anyone looking at my school records is in for one hell of a surprise when they see my grades against my disciplinary record. Maybe they'll think it was a clerical error or somethin."

Inko giggled. "Maybe," she said, "Now, I believe we were discussing your taste in boys."

"Oh come on Inko! My taste is fine." Mitsuki folded her arms and pouted.

"You've broken up with every single one, often breaking more than just their hearts if you get what I mean, and have ranted about how every single one of them were delinquents or jerks-"

"Not my words." Mitsuki said.

"My point being, don't you think it'd be nice to try someone…nice for a change?"

"I've gone on dates with nice guys in the past!"

"Not for a year. Maybe you should try again. At the very least you'll be less likely to get in trouble for beating him up if it doesn't work."

"You're not gonna let me alone on this are you?"

"Nope!"

"Do I really have to?"

"Yes, yes you do."

"UGH! Fine!" Mitsuki scanned the cafeteria for a suitable candidate. "Do I really have to-"

Inko glared at her. "Ok, Ok," Mitsuki said before returning to her search.

"Hmmm…" She pointed at a spot a couple tables away. "How about that one?"

"Which one?" Inko asked while trying to look for herself.

Mitsuki pointed. "Brown hair. Glasses. Kind of cute."

Inko's gaze followed her friend's hand, where she saw a group of frineds talking, only one matching her best friend's description.

"Oh! You mean Bakugo? He's a great choice! He's in my writing class and is really sweet, if a bit shy. When you approach him you should try and be nice and gentl-where did you go?" She asked the empty space where Mitsuki used to be. She looked toward Bakugo.

"Oh no," she thought.

Mitsuki was stalking toward Bakugo with the intensity she only gives off when she is very intent on doing the task at hand, usually with all of the gentleness of Godzilla. Inko got up and followed her friend.

Mitsuki stopped and put a hand on her hip while pointing the other one at Bakugo. "OI! BAKUGO!"

Bakugo and his friends froze, Bakugo nervously pointed at himself questioningly.

"YES YOU! GO OUT WITH ME!"

Bakugo's jaw dropped. "W-what?" he asked.

"I SAID I WANTED TO GO ON A DATE WITH YOU!"

"Y-you w-want me t-to…?"

"DID I STUTTER? LET ME PUT IT ANOTHER WAY!" she grabbed him by the collar and dragged him to his feet, looked into his eyes with a death glare, and, in a tone more suited for asking for someone's wallet in a dark alley at knife-point then asking them on a date, said, "Thursday. Jabahut's sushi. 7:30. We'll make it a magical evening. Don't be late. Or. Else. Got it?"

"Yeah, ok." Bakugo said in a small voice.

"Good. Try anything "uncivil" and you'll be the fourth boy I've put in traction."

"I thought you only put two in traction…"

Mitsuki froze for several seconds. Then she said, "None of you heard that. Snitches get stitches. Got it?"

All the boys around the table nodded. "Y-yeah, I'll be there. Definitely won't be late." Bakugo said.

Mitsuki gave him a wide smirk. "Glad to hear it! See you then Bakugo!

Mitsuki strolled toward Inko looking very pleased with herself. Inko mouthed "sorry" to Bakugo, who was standing there seemingly trying to process what just happened. His friends started to try shaking him out of his stupor.

Mitsuki folded her arms and smiled at Inko. "There you go! Went without a hitch!"

Inko would really have to work with her on her definition of "without a hitch."

Masaru stood there with his jaw dropped as the two girls walked away.

"Hey man! You ok?" one of his friends asked.

"I just got asked out by a hot girl…" He said.

"You…do know that's the terrifying psycho one, right? The one who constantly gets in fights, beats people up, and might have a criminal record right?" his friend said.

"Yeah…" Masaru said with a lovesick smile.

"Ooookaay. Whatever floats your boat I guess?"

Days Later

"So how did it go Mitsuki?" Inko asked.

"It went fine." Mitsuki said. "Went better than a lot of my other dates."

"And…?"

"Not really much else to say. We met. We ate. Then we went home. Bakugo's a nice guy but he was kind of a wimp. Not much else to say. Still, he was better than some of my boyfriends. At least he wasn't a douche or something."

"Planning on asking him again sometime?"

"Eh, not really." She shrugged her shoulders. "It may not have been bad, but there wasn't really much to it."

"And what if he asks you?" Inko asked.

"Pfff! Him? Ask me out? Inko, that guy is totally spineless. You honestly think he of all people would have it in him to ask out the terrifying Mitsuki-"

Inko looked over Mitsuki's shoulder, grabbed her and turned her around. Bakugo was walking up to her, feet shaking with every step.

"H-hello M-Mitsuki. I-I c-came to t-tell you that I enj-enjoyed our d-date last night and to, w-well t-to ask y-you…I-I m-mean I w-was w-wondering…"

"YEAH? JUST SPIT IT OUT!" said Mitsuki.

Bakugo squeezed his eyes shut, "Iwaswonderingifyou'dliketogooutagainsometime?"

Mitsuki's jaw dropped. "What."

"I-I e-enjoyed our dinner the other night. I r-rather admired y-your s-strong spirit a-and w-would like to do it again" he said.

"Mitsuki stared a few more seconds before asking, "You. Are actually asking me out? Yourself?!"

"Y-yes?"

"Sure. Sounds good."

Bakugo let out a large sigh of relief and relaxed his shoulders. "Ok. T-there's a theater near where I live. We could see a movie tomorrow?"

"Yeah." Mitsuki said.

"Ok, good." He said before walking away.

Mitsuki stared after him for a few seconds before finally saying "Holy shit. I never would have thought he would've had it in him."

Inko smirked toward her friend, "I see. You seem mighty impressed. I hope this is the start of a lovely bond that'll stand the test of time. I'd love it if you end up with a boy who isn't likely to end up in prison one day…"

"INKO! Quit trying to plan my wedding after the first date!"

"What? I'm just excited. A nice boy like him would be good for you. And you too look so cute together!"

Mitsuki growled. "Sometimes I wonder why I'm friends with you."

"Mitsuki, you know you care."

"Yeah, yeah," an evil smirk appeared on Mitsuki's lips. "Say Inko, since you're so interested in my love life, I wonder if I should start to be interested in yours…"

Inko's eyes went wide. "Mitsuki!"

"I'm just sayin'… I mean because as it is the universe might balance me getting together with Masaru by getting you together with an actual supervillain or something. So maybe I should step in and help you get together with a guy who's good for you."

"Mitsuki!"

Mitsuki smirk got even wider. "You could go on dates with me and Masaru, heck maybe we could have our wedding togeth-"

"MITSUKI!" Inko said, "Wait a minute, did you just imply you wanted to marry Bakugo?"

Mitsuki's eyes went wide as she seemed process the implications of what she'd just said. "SHUT IT INKO!"
