Hey so this is going to be the first thing that isn't a one shot. I am also uploading this to my wattpad account but i will hold back until I see how much people like it.

Contians some swearing and sexual language however nothing really graphic. Also contains talk about cheating.

Quick mention to say that Noah won't make an appearance in this as I know what this sort of thing can do from personal experience however i was a lot older than Noah (who is i think still under 10) i was 13/14 at the time.

Chapter 1

"David... Please. You don't have to take the job." She says nearly in tears.

E.A.D.A David Haden and Olivia Benson have been in a secret relationship for a few weeks now and He has just accepted a job investigating Olivias team.

"I'm sorry... Liv it's done. I start Monday. Paperwork got finalized today."

The tears break through Olivia's eyes and drip down her face. She really liked David and she honestly thinks that it was very close to more than liking him.

She looks down at the floor.

"You told me that you wanted us to work." She says. She's a tiny bit angry as she wants this to work more than alot of things now.

"Olivia. I didn't know this was going to happen... I didn't think that it would be me."

"Go. I need to be alone."

"I'm sorry. I honestly didn't think this would happen."

"Please David we can talk about this tomorrow. It's late. I got shot at yesterday and honestly I just need a night alone."

"Okay. I love you Liv. Whatever happens with us... I want you to know that." He wipes her eyes with his blazer sleeve before kissing her softly on the lips.

"Goodnight Olivia." He says walking away.

"David." She says her voice broken with emotion.

"Yeah."

"What happens now?"

"I think we... I think we both know what happens now." He stutters walking back to her. He sits with her. "Do you still want me to go?"

"No..."

"Why don't i order a pizza and we can take it to bed with a movie?"

"Sounds good." She says. She kisses him softly. "I really didn't want to be alone tonight."

"Well considering I don't start have to do anything about the job until Monday. I'm all yours."

"Sunday will be hard. Saying goodbye to this. What we have... Something I won't have again."

David pulls her into a hug as she cries.

David Haden for Olivia is the one who got away. He is the man she wanted. Well until Assistant District Attorney Rafael Barba shows up.

"Captain. Take your daughters for work day." He says smirking.

Captian Harris' daughter... she tries to not laugh at him and is successful. Harris decides to get his own back. "Detectives Benson and Rollins. Rafael Barba. I lied told them you knew your way around a court room."

He shakes Rollins' hand first. Then he shakes hers. His eyes sparkle and she smiles at him.

She remembers how she walks up to him whilst hes eating and he gives her that same half smile that he only does to her and also a "Sit. Drink. Smile." She couldn't like this man more if she tried.

She occasionally thinks back to David Haden. She wonders what happend to him and how he is. She wondered if his number is still the same as back then. She thinks back to when he tells her that she wants it to work and kisses her at the donut store. She remembers how it all started.

She quickly snaps back to reality. Anyway he's probably married now.

Come on Olivia get your head back. It's been years now.

She looks to her computer and sees that she has a talk to some high rank officers from other units at 3pm. She looks up to see her clock that it's just turned miday.

She forgot all about the seminar and her jacket with her badges on is at home and she didn't shower this morning and her hair is a mess. She knows that she will need to get there for 2:30PM for enough time to get coffee and just incase of accidents. She puts a call into Fins mobile.

"Hey Liv. What's up?"

"Fin I've got a meeting at 1PP at 3pm but I'm not ready at all. Can you hold the fort?"

"Okay. I didn't know about this meeting."

"Neither did I until i got the reminder on my calender just now."

They laugh and Olivia says goodbye and grabs her bag and jacket. She goes home washes her hair and grabs a bath, her legs are tired and she just wants to relax. She thinks about Rafael and how she is supposed to see him tonight but dependant on how this meeting at 1PP goes Olivia benson isn't sure she can.

She arrives at 1PP with her hair done and her jacket with her badges and medals on it, also she has light makeup to hide the fact she hasn't slept in days.

She signs in at reception takes the lift up to the venu for the seminar and texts Rafael.

2:28pm: Hey Handsome. How are you?

Within the next two minutes he replies.

2:29pm: Hey beautiful. I am okay. How are you?

She smiles. 2:30pm: I am okay just getting out the lift in a few floors so that may change. I'll keep you informed. If this goes badly, also known as me getting out late, can i see you another day as I'll just want to go back home?

She steps out onto the busy floor and she sighs as the agenda gets handed to her.

Sighing once more, she takes out her phone again.

2:33pm: Ugh... Yeah... Looks like i will have to see you another day :( seriously Raf I might just need a couple of reasons not to kill at least 92% of the people in this room.

She goes into the room and takes out her files and takes to a few officers that she knows around her. Her phone buzzes on her desk and she looks at it.

2:37pm: Well we can't cuddle and watch movies if your in prison.

She chuckles and decides to quickly call him. Stepping out the room she hits call and walks down the hallway.

"Barba."

"So... You wouldn't even ask Rita to defend me in court. Are you not gonna visit me either?" She says with a chuckle in her voice.

He laughs. "Rita couldn't help you in that situation. 92% of new yorks fineist cops dead... yeah you'd be done for. That is one of the crimes that people would want the death penalty back for."

She laughs. "Honestly Rafael. I need saving."

"Well... Superman can offer you a ride back to your place and maybe a takeaway if you don't kill anyone."

"Okay just for you." She says.

"Now go back in there and make them all wish that you were on their team."

"Will do."

She goes in and 2 hours later she does her speech. A man enters the room and makes direct eye contact with her.

Dark hair gelled perfectly. Black shoes perfectly cleaned, almost glistening in the low light. Dark brown eyes making her weak at her knees. Black pants. A crisp white shirt. Black blazer and a black tie. Olivia tries to not be shaken but her heart flutters but she remains calm. Her eyes divert to the rest of the room and then back to him and they stay locked with each others for the reminder of the her talk in the conference. She feels nervous but reminds calm although she is a wreck on the inside. Her knees are weaker than ever. She couldn't believe he is back. Fucking David Haden is back and it has just got 100 times hotter in this room.
