Around 15 minutes later they go outside of the apartment block. Thankfully, for both David and Olivia, Daniles isn't working so they leave together without any confrontation with him. "Liv." David says looking at her.

"Yeah." She replies with a smile.

"How do you feel about a motorbike?"

Olivia smiles, although she's nervous being with David helps to keep her calm and she actually thinks she might have fun. "Why do you ask?"

On queue, a man on a motorbike pulls up and David goes to him. They talk for a couple of moments before david takes his car key from his keychain and hands it to the man. Olivia sees David look at her and she smiles at him. She hears him say to the man "she doesn't know about the other part." Olivia's heart begins to race as the realisation that this was more than just a bike ride and dinner. A few minutes later she is on the bike with David, arms around his waist, going somewhere.

They stop outside a small restaurant just outside of town around an hour later and they are greeted to a few women women exiting the restaurant. As David helps Olivia with taking her helment off one of the women call at David "Hey handsome. Wanna take me out on that bike? I don't live too far away. Maybe i could pay you in another way than cash."

Knowing that the women and most importantly Olivia are looking at him, David takes hold of one of Olivia's hands and moves the fallen piece of hair away her face before he kisses her he whispers "I waited near to 7 years. Trust me Liv. You don't need to worry" before kissing her.

Hearing the heels of a group of women walk away as they kiss, Olivia can't help but feel happy. A part of her brain has been on auto replay since she first told him that she wasn't over him, screaming at her telling her to go home and that Rafael is the man she wants.

She knows that is bullshit. Since the first kiss. Hell even meeting him again she knows that David is the man she wants. However breaking it off with Rafael won't happen for a while. So this will be a one off thing.

Well that is what she will tell herself anyway.

They stop kissing and go to the restaurant and a waitress approaches them. "Mr Haden. It's good to see you. Cane told me you were coming I've got you a booth set up in the back."

"Thanks. Is Carlo in?"

"No. Not at the moment. Mamma needed him to take her home. Papa said he didn't mind and that Jesse would look after the restaurant. He said he will make an appearance soon. I'll make sure he comes to see you."

"Okay. Thanks Holly."

"Through the doors at the back and it's the one on your right Mr Haden."

"Thanks."

They follow Holly's directions and they are met with a beautifully set out table alone with a bunch of roses on the booth seats. There's a candle lit in the centre and Olivia looks at David.

"Carlo is the owner. Holly is his daughter. The guy we got the bike from is Duke thats Holly's husband."

"You have friends in the correct places Mr Haden." Olivia smirks kissing his cheek.

David chuckles. "Anything for you. Lieutenant. As I said I am taking the most beautiful woman in the United states out. I have to impress a little."

When they sit David smiles at her and Holly comes back. "Jesse says that i can have this table instead of him."

"Jesse. Still a pain for you then?"

"He's my boss Mr Haden. Aren't they all?"

David and Olivia laugh. "Anyway. I will allow you to look through your menus and bring you the wine. Unless either of you would like something else?" Holly continues.

"No. I'm okay. What about you Liv?"

"I'm fine. Thankyou." Olivia says with a soft smile.

Holly leaves and David puts his hand on Olivia's "are you okay?" David says softly.

"Yeah... sorry. I just... been thinking."

"About?"

"This is amazing David. I can't help but feel happy. Thank you."

"Then why do you look like the world is on your shoulders?"

"Just a little nervous. That's all."

"Well I know the place we went to last time wasn't great so I made a call to Carlo and he told me to bring you here."

"I mean when you know the owner. It's a guarantee that you come then."

"Yeah. Except last time we went out Carlo was back in Italy with Marta they closed the restaurant as the whole family was going to a wedding. Jesse wasn't around back then."

"Who is Jesse?"

"He's the manager of the cooks. Carlo gave the restaurant to Holly and Duke when Carlo and Marta wanted to spend more time relaxing. They've had restaurants since they were young. They met in school. Married quickly. Had Holly in italy and moved to the States when she was 2. They have been here ever since. They sold their restaurants in Italy. Except one. It was there first. Carlo made some money from this place and converted the first restaurant into a house."

"Ah. Davide. Don't be boring the beautiful lady about my life. Lei non mi vuole. Figlio." An older man says coming through the doors with Holly.

David gets up and hugs the man. "Grazie for letting me do this Carlo. I know it was short notice. This is Olivia." David turns to Olivia, who has joined David with Carlo. "Olivia. This is Carlo." David says.

"Olivia... a very beautiful woman. Davide told me about you. I understand why he would want to impress you."

"Thank you for allowing David to bring me here. It's a beautiful place you have here."

"I am glad you like it." Carlo says as he hugs Olivia. "A friend of David's is a friend of Carlo's Davide... would you like me to show Olivia the true heart of Carlo's?"

David turns to Olivia. "The pizza. Carlo's pizza is the best pizza you will taste in the United States."

"If it is no trouble that sounds lovely."

"Carlo heard what you experienced. Carlo wants to make you smile not be sick. Carlo doesn't disappoint." Carlo says.

Carlo goes and Holly pours them wine. "Papa won't let you pay Mr Haden. Not tonight. Papa treats you like one of us. I know i now own the place but Carlo will refuse to let you pay."

"Carlo is a good man. I'll talk to him." David says. Holly leaves the bottle on the table and leaves them to it.

"He knows about the date 6 and a half years ago."

"Of course. I came to see him after everything happened with us when he got back from Italy. Carlo told me that I would see you again. When I heard that i would have to go into that conference at 1PP I seen that you were going too. At first i didn't think it was you... But I don't forget them eyes." David admits.

"Carlo treats you like his son."

"Yeah. Marta was attacked a few years before i met you in Italy and it was an American that did it. The case ended up being brought back to the states after months and I ended up taking to Carlo and Marta. Carlo seemed to like me and one day he told me to come here. Plus there was a man who tried to rob the place. Me and a off duty cop managed to tackle the guy."

"He has a lot to thank you for then."

"No. I have a heck of a lot more to thank him for."

The pizza as Carlo promised was beautiful and Duke comes back with Davids car as they are saying goodbye to Carlo and his family. David gets his car back and they head back towards David's place.

Well that's what Olivia thinks anyway.
