This one pretty much carries straight on from the next and my barson fans will be happy to know that Rafael is back next chapter

Chapter 9

David looks over to Olivia as he is driving. The road is quiet and peaceful and Olivia is looking out the window. They go to a hill and they drive up it. They stop at the top and David smiles and says "One more thing before I take you back." He gets out the car and helps her out. "Thank you. David what are we doing here?"

He smiles. "Just doing one of the things we always talked about after you heard me play."

"We talked about watching the stars together in your arms."

"Your smile used to brighten the room when you would talk about us doing it."

"Today has been amazing. David honestly. I wish we never had to leave this day." She admits. She looks away, as the tears are being blinked away.

"Come here." He says pulling her closer to him.

"Listen to me. I know it's a pain us hiding how we feel but at least we are not hiding it from each other. I'm yours Olivia. It kills me to think in a matter of days you'll be in his arms but just seeing you again. Seeing you happy makes me feel happy that for at least a few days I can make you happy."

"That's the thing. I don't want to go back. I don't want to hide this. I want to be able to not hide it. To just be with you David. We did it once like this. The hiding. The discreet meetups. The donut store."

"Well I certainly knew how to woo this cop." David says laughing about the day at the store.

"Wait before I continue this walk down memory lane are you still an E.A.D.A.?"

"Yeah. I mean I sit in an office doing paperwork 98% of the time but yeah I am."

"Well for the record E.A.D.A. I still want this to work." She says saying the last thing he said to her almost 7 years ago.

"Isn't this the part where we kiss?"

As she nods, David puts his hand on her face and leans in and kisses her softly.

"And now we drive back. Tomorrow evening we forget all this happened and I go back to being the girlfriend of the ADA at my job and probably one of the closest friends I've had at that place."

"You are wrong about one thing Olivia."

"What do you mean?"

He kisses her softly on the lips before whispering "we won't forget."

His lips crash back to hers before they leave going back to David's place.

The next day they wake up and both realise that today is the day Rafael comes home. Today is the day that the last two days disappear.

These last two days are the two days that will be gone but never forgotten.
