New York - Empire State University
"How are you doing, Eddie?" Peter lifted the dumbbells in both his hands without much effort. Most of his bandages were already gone except for the one found on his cheek. Were it not for Gwen, he would probably have pieces of him lying on the ground.
He had a towel set over his shoulder.
Eddie grunted while lifting his dumbbells. "I'm doing just fine." Despite being in shape, there was no way to catch up with Peter, the latter never tired. Eddie was defeated. "You might want to slow down a bit because of those wounds."
"I'm almost done, buddy."
Eddie nodded. He also panted heavily.
Eventually, they decided to stop and catch their breaths. Eddie was out. Peter set his dumbbells back to the stand and turned to Eddie while he did the same.
Eddie sighed. "Remind me to not do this again with you."
"You did great."
"Yeah, sure."
Peter cleaned his face with his towel. "So, what are you doing when not hitting the gym?"
Eddie inhaled deeply and took a sip of his fresh and bottled water. "I used to write stories and articles. Sometimes, I freelance as a photographer." He continued, "But right now, I'm unemployed."
"Well, I work for the Bugle. I think I can throw your name around if you don't mind."
Eddie wasn't expecting that. He was caught off guard. "Oh, I… sure, of course. I-I really wouldn't know how to thank you."
Peter patted him on the shoulder. "It's fine. I would just be glad to help."
Eddie nodded. "I appreciate it, Peter."
He continued, "Also… I'll get married in two days. Maybe you could show up?"
Eddie smiled. "For sure. You can count on me." He questioned, "What about the bachelor's party?"
Peter shrugged his shoulders. "My friend, Flash, asked me the same question. Honestly, I don't know." Truth to be told, he didn't know how his partner would react to such an idea.
Flash spoke, "Well, I'm with him," He continued, "Just a few drinks here and there and nothing more. Tonight? "
Peter sighed. "I'm gonna talk to her. If anything happens... it's on you guys."
Mary Jane's Apartment
"Oh my god..." MJ's mouth almost hit the ground. "You look… so gorgeous!"
Gwen Stacy stood in front of her. She wore a snug sweetheart white gown.
"You think so?" Gwen looked down at her figure. "What if Peter doesn't like it?"
"Is he the one wearing all of that? No. You need to like it. Also, there's no possible way that he won't like it." MJ continued, "What I do see is he taking the dress out of you very quickly." Gwen blushed slightly.
"Okay, If you say so."
Gwen turned on her back and watched herself on the moveable mirror that MJ had dragged earlier into the living room. Gwen was excited and nervous at the same time. She knew how important the wedding day would be for them. She wanted it to be perfect.
"You know I'm right," MJ observed Gwen. The dress accentuated her friend's golden hair.
"Yeah, I think you are," Gwen smiled. "By the way, I'm hungry, this gown is super tight and it doesn't help a bit with that."
"Me too. There's this nice restaurant around here," MJ raised from the couch and helped Gwen to unzip the gown from behind. "What do you think?"
"... what are we waiting for?"
The Daily Bugle Building
"Parker!" Jameson burst out of his office and headed towards Peter's table while everyone's surprised glances.
"What can I help you with, Mr. Jameson?" Peter lowered the pen that was close to his lips to spin it with his fingers.
"Tell me that you took pictures of yesterday's robbery." He leaned on Peter's table, adding some physical pressure.
"I did," Peter opened his drawer and retrieved a folder that contained the pictures. He handed it to Jameson. "Mostly Spider-Man though, it was… impossible to get inside that bank."
"Let me see!" Jameson impatiently opened the folder. "I knew it! Spider-Man doesn't care about the law!" He stated after seeing Spider-Man pushing the officer away from him.
Peter scratched the back of his neck. "That guy was a jerk.. from what I've heard, of course."
Jameson looked up at Peter with a happy expression. "I don't care. This is gold, Parker."
"Sure, six hundred then"
"What?!" Jameson narrowed his eyes on him. "Now you are the one assaulting people?!"
"I'll take them somewhere else then."
"But you work for me!"
"I can work for someone else."
"You…" Jameson contained his rage. "Five hundred."
Peter smiled. "We have a deal, Mr. Jameson." He continued, "Also, I know this guy… he's called Eddie Brock and is currently unemployed. He knows how to handle a camera too."
"And?"
"... and you should consider that as an incentive for me to keep coming back here… every day."
Jameson cleared his throat. "Fine!" He turned on his shoulder and began heading back to his office.
"Nice doing business with you, boss." He heard a grunt from Jameson. "Don't forget the wedding!"
"I know!" Jameson closed the door of his office.
Peter chuckled. He stood up and headed for the coffee machine. He pressed the button for a hot coffee and waited for the machine to deliver it. The plastic cup slowly came through the small compartment as he took it in his hand and took a sip.
Peter leaned on the nearest window and watched New York's intense traffic from his position. He was unable to wear the suit since Gwen had forbidden him from it. He was still pissed at letting Quentin go. On top of that, he was also a wanted man.
He sighed heavily and retrieved his phone from the pocket in the side of his pants.
"Hi!" Gwen greeted.
"Hey, beautiful. How are you?"
"I'm having coffee with MJ." She answered. "Guess what we were doing earlier."
He smiled. "I have no idea. You two together are unpredictable."
"Your future wife… was wearing the gown which she is going to use in your wedding."
His smile widened. "How did she look?"
"Amazing…!" MJ stated after approaching the phone.
Gwen chuckled, "That was MJ."
"I can't wait."
"Me neither."
Peter cleared his throat. "Erm… Gwen?" He rubbed the back of his neck.
"Yes?"
"Do you remember that guy I have been talking to lately? Eddie?"
"Yep, what about him?"
"Well, he and Flash invited me to… um, it's like… to have fun, you know?"
"You mean a bachelor's party?"
"No…?" Peter continued, "No...I mean it's not a party, just a bar or something like that.."
"It doesn't have any woman shaking her... you know what, right?"
Peter scoffed. "Of course not." He replied, convinced. "It's like you don't know me."
"Hmm… okay then." Gwen accepted. "Just don't arrive back at home drunk."
She knew that was almost an impossible task with Flash, Eddie, and Peter together in the same place.
"I won't." Peter smiled. "I love you."
"You better love 'cause you're stuck with me," Gwen teased further, "But I kinda love you too."
"Just a little, right?"
"Very little." She assured him.
They shared a laugh. She questioned, "Are you with the suit?"
Peter looked down and felt his black suit underneath his shirt. He wore it just in case something bad happened.
"No..."
"Peter..."
"I gotta go, Jameson's calling. I love you!"
"Peter-" He turned the call down.
That was close...
Peter sighed and closed the window. He was surprised when he saw his reflection fully wearing the black suit in the window's glass.
Not believing what was happening, he quickly closed and opened his eyes again. His reflection was normal once again. He shook his head and walked away, trying to figure out what had just happened.
Could that coffee be poisoned? I don't know anymore.
Oscorp
Fiers walked inside the room where a circular table was located at the center. Quentin and Herman were sitting on their respective chairs. Max stood on his feet and next to the table. He only observed the group's behavior. He still felt like burning the entire building down.
Maybe that could happen later.
Aleksei and Quentin were deep in an argument. It was becoming tiresome. Max, annoyed by the situation, fired a single electric bolt to the center of the table and had the two silence themselves for a moment.
"Shut up."
"You guys are out of your minds." Herman entered the discussion.
"Enough!" Fiers finally intervened.
Quentin asked, "Where's the Osborn guy?"
"Harry is occupied with something personal."
"Great," Aleksei crossed his arms.
Fiers approached the front part of the table and threw a tiny cube over it. It displayed many images of Spider-Man wearing a black suit.
"You all know why you're here." Fiers zoomed in. "This person is your target from now on."
Aleksei closed his fists. He was humiliated more than once because of him. He couldn't return to his country either.
"We call what he's wearing now the symbiote, a parasite that needs a host to keep itself alive." He let out half the truth. "He's getting weaker every day because of it."
"I wouldn't say that. He hit me hard." Herman doubted the symbiote's purpose.
"It's only temporary. You all have the advantage over him." He scrolled down and showed them footage of their respective weaponry located in another chamber. "From now on, you all can do whatever you want. It's time... to let him know of your existence."
New York - Graveyard
Harry stood in front of his father's grave. He wore a dark coat that helped him keep himself warm.
It had been years since the last time he visited his father's grave. Their relationship was not the best out there since his mom's death. Norman had never been the same again. They stopped talking with each other for a long time during his childhood.
"Hi. It's been years." He broke the silence, "We never had the perfect father-son relationship. Most of the time we just ignored each other. I just felt like visiting you if that means anything."
Harry rubbed the back of his neck, feeling a scar from the past transformation when his entire body got broken because of his search for a cure.
"Honestly… I don't even know why I'm here visiting someone that left me to die." Harry closed his fists. "You ruined everything."It's your fault for destroying my whole life. For a brief time, I used to look up to you, I wanted to be like you, but then I realized being you meant not having a life, you just pushed people away. Maybe that's why I'm doing all of this… maybe it's about taking charge of my life."
Harry stared at the gray stone. "I shouldn't even have come here to waste my time talking to a dead man." He moved his hands back inside the pockets of his coat and walked away.
A mysterious figure standing behind a tree observed Harry as he walked away from his father's grave. The man grabbed his phone and tapped some numbers, before placing the device next to his ear.
"We can't waste any more time."
New York - Bob's Bar
"I won't drink too much." Peter clarified to Flash as they headed towards the bar the latter had recommended. Eddie was probably already inside waiting for them.
"Come on, man!" Flash elbowed Peter. "Drinks, music, and some darts. Nothing more and nothing less."
"Yeah, but this certain woman is waiting for me back home."
"Gwen won't mind, I'm sure." Flash grinned.
"Whatever." Peter shook his head. "Let's go."
Once they entered the location, Peter was greeted with the many colors flashing the darkness of the ba. Everything was clean. The tables were set beside the walls of the bar.
Not so bad. He thought to himself.
"Where's your new boyfriend?" Flash looked around for Eddie.
Peter scoffed. "There." He pointed towards Eddie. He was sitting on a stool while busy typing on his phone.
Eddie turned on his shoulder and saw Peter come towards him. He raised from the stool and friendly greeted the pair. "What's up, guys?"
"This is Flash." Peter gestured to him.
"Nice to meet you" Eddie nodded.
"You too." Flash smiled.
Eddie continued, "I already prepared everything." He turned back to the counter and pointed to the three transparent glasses that were filled with whiskey.
"That's right." Flash sat next to Eddie. "Come on, Pete."
Peter joined them at the table and eyed his glass. "Just a little..." They touched their glasses together and began drinking the whiskey right away.
Peter frowned and shook his head as he slowly got used to the strong taste.
"Boom!" Flash cleared his throat as he lowered his glass back to the counter. "Keep them coming!".
"Your puppy is so cute, Gwen!" MJ kneeled on the floor and stroked Ren's soft skin.
"Peter chooses well," Gwen placed her bag over the kitchen's counter. They had spent the majority of the day together. They were back from the theater.
"What's his name?"
"Ren." She affirmed, before walking to the fridge, searching for something for dinner. "There's pizza.
"I love Pizza, that's fine by me." MJ raised from the floor and observed the cozy place. "Nice apartment by the way."
"Thank you." Gwen placed the frozen pizza inside the stove. "It's not cheap, but we are handling it just fine so far."
MJ nodded, "Can I take a look?"
"Of course."
MJ went to the hallway where the bedrooms were located. Her friend's room was perfectly in order. A gray suit was lying over the large bed. "This is the suit for the wedding?" She stood against the frame of the door.
" That's Peter's," Gwen replied from the kitchen. "I bought it with his Aunt yesterday." She made her way towards Mary Jane.
MJ approached the other bedroom on her left. It didn't have any furniture yet besides a white curtain on the window. A box could be seen down on the floor.
"What's this room?"
"Oh," Gwen stood behind her and crossed arms. "For now it's just an empty room. We haven't decided what it will be about."
"It's perfect for your kids!" MJ affirmed, with a huge grin. "Can you imagine a little blonde girl or boy, eh?"
"Oh my god..."
Peter carefully aimed the dart at the target as the excited crowd waited for his play. His hand was slightly shaky and his vision was blurry.
"Hurry up, dude!" Eddie added pressure. He stood right behind him. "If you miss it's one more shot."
Peter threw the dart towards the target, hitting the center of it. "There you go!" He turned on his shoulder and cheered. "Now, drink."
Eddie took a sip and swallowed it hard. He shook his head afterward. They sat in the stools at the bar.
Peter roamed the place with his eyes. He caught a glimpse of Flash in a dark corner. He was talking to a woman he had just met. "Flash is doing what he knows best."
"I've noticed."
"Hey, handsome." A woman wearing a black leather jacket approached him. "What a show you've put there."
Peter turned on the stool to face her. "Natural talent… I guess."
"Is there… any other natural talent you have?" She got closer to him and leaned on his neck, taking in his scent.
Peter raised his hands. "Wow, wow... lady." He chuckled nervously, before placing his hands on hers and gently moving her away.
Eddie smirked, watching the situation unfold.
"What's the matter? Will you get into trouble?" She teased.
"That too, but you know, it's wrong." He argued back.
"Having fun is wrong?"
Peter gulped. "Um… exactly."
The woman sighed. "Whatever." She walked away.
Eddie laughed uncontrollably. "Peter Parker, breaking hearts since -"
He snarled, "Just fill the glasses."
Two hours later...
Gwen found herself sitting on the couch, watching television as she waited for Peter to come back home. It was already quite late and he hadn't given any sign of life. Ren was spread over her legs and snored lightly.
The wedding was now just two days to happen and Gwen was already feeling anxious and nervous. She knew that everything would probably go alright. The new step in their life was soon going to be taken. They become a married couple ready to live together for the rest of their lives.
Suddenly, a very familiar voice could be heard singing from the other side of the apartment's main door. She raised from the couch and faced the door.
"Spider-man... Spider-Man..." He sang while trying to open the door with the keys. "Does whatever a spider can," Peter finally opened the door and saw Gwen stand with arms crossed. "Spins a web, at any size..." He raised his hand to Gwen's direction and imagined him firing a webline at his future wife. "Thwip! Gotcha you, honey."
"Goodnight."
Peter stepped inside the apartment rather clumsily and then closed the door with his feet. He narrowed his brown eyes at her. "God… you look so hot." He sighed and approached her. He snaked his arms around her waist and he kissed her on the lips.
Gwen didn't retreat. She could taste the strong whiskey on his lips and warm tongue. He began, "I've *hic* something to say..."
"What's it now?" Gwen leaned her head backward, leaving Peter trying to connect his lips with hers again. "Huh?"
"Oh, yes," Peter gently grabbed her hand and kneeled. "Gwendolyne *hic* M-Maxine *hic* Stacy." He sobbed.
"Yes?" Gwen smiled.
"... w-will you marry me?"
Gwen laughed after seeing Peter proposing to her again in this new drunk version. "Sure, why not?" She played along.
He rose from the floor and wrapped his arms around Gwen's waist as he started kissing her neck.
"Slow down, bugboy." She gently pushed him back.
"What…?"
"Where's the ring?" Gwen gestured to the ring on her hand. "Aren't you proposing to me?"
"Oh...*hic* the ring?" Peter searched his pocket, but there wasn't anything lost there. "Can I give you a kiss instead?" He closed his eyes and leaned in.
"No..." Gwen allowed Peter to attack her lips as she snaked her arms around his neck. She parted again. "That's your job already." She moved a hand to his chest and slowly unbuttoned his coat.
"I know."
"How many did you have?"
"Just a few." Peter moved his hands to her waist and pulled her legs as she quickly wrapped them around his waist.
"Peter! Put me down!" She chuckled lightly.
Ignoring her orders, Peter slowly walked towards the couch, being careful not to stumble on the air. He lowered Gwen on the couch and laid himself above her. He rested his head on her shoulder, ready to fall asleep.
"No, no," Gwen removed his coat and threw it into the floor. "Shower before sleep."
"Tomorrow..." He mumbled on her shoulder.
"Nope, I will help you."
Later on, Gwen led Peter to their bedroom, making him sit on the edge of the bed while she picked a towel from the wardrobe and positioned herself beside him. Gwen pulled his shirt up, revealing the black suit which she previously had forbidden Peter to use, but as ever, he just ignored the orders. She unzipped the zipper on the back of his neck and slipped the suit out of his body, exposing his bare chest.
"What did I tell you about the suit, Peter?" Gwen questioned, checking the bandage on his cheek. He was almost fully out.
"Hmm?" Peter opened his eyes, seeing what looked to be an angel right in front of him. "Why are you this beautiful?" He leaned on her neck again.
"Erm… genetics, I think, " Gwen replied, "But seriously, you need to recover first."
"Our baby is going to be perfect,"
Gwen smiled. "You really want a kid don't you?" She giggled. "First you hit your head pretty hard, and now you're drunk."
"I'm not feeling well." Peter leaned backward, hitting his head against the pillow.
"Next time you should at least regulate your drinks." Gwen threw the towel over his face.
"It's all Eddie's fault." He mumbled under the towel. "He forced me."
"No one can force you to do anything," She removed the jeans, leaving him in his boxers "Aren't you Spider-Man?"
"Who's this guy?" He removed the towel from his face, glancing at Gwen before raising an eyebrow.
"Oh… he's very handsome." She teased. "Always seeking my attention."
Peter sat on the bed and gently pushed Gwen down on it, making her laugh by the sudden movement. He stood over her and started to kiss the soft skin of her neck. "No… you're mine."
Gwen kissed his cheek and whispered seductively next to his ear, "Maybe after you take a shower?" She knew that Peter was fighting to not fall asleep and that seducing him would be the only way to get him under the shower.
He gently sucked the delicate skin of her neck and left a light purple mark on it
"Peter!" Gwen exclaimed. The mark would probably appear even after using the gown. "Now you are going to take a shower, mister!" She grabbed his hand and led him to the bathroom.
Peter Parker was indeed a very unique person.
Aunt May's House - Wedding Day
May 27th - 2019
Peter adjusted the tie of his gray suit while looking at his reflection through the mirror in Aunt May's bedroom. The couple had split up after enjoying their last hours together on the morning before the wedding. Gwen was at her mom's home, preparing herself. He wondered what she was thinking right now, probably the same thing as he was.
Peter now combed his hair, making it simpler. Most of the bruises were already healed so he wasn't wearing any bandages for now.
"Are you ready, Peter?" Aunt May entered the room.
"I think I am," Peter turned to his Aunt and smiled. "What do you think?"
"You look… perfect, Peter." She approached him and fixed his tie. "But you still don't know how to do your tie."
Peter laughed. "Uncle Ben never taught me this properly."
"He had this issue too," May remembered when Ben tried to help a much younger Peter with his tie for the small party after finishing junior school. She had to interrupt them or else they would spend all day there. "I know he's proud of you."
"Thank you." Peter kissed her forehead.
"There you go." May patted his chest "Now you can meet your beautiful bride."
"Always saving my skin."
Flash leaned on the door, already wearing his black suit. "Let's go, Parker." He entered the room and teased, "The bride is the one who always arrives late."
"And she will. Come on."
Helen's Apartment
"Let's go, mom!" Gwen exclaimed impatiently. She was standing over the small support placed in the living room. She wore her sweetheart gown.
Helen was busy doing her daughter's make-up while MJ was checking the dress.
"Calm down girl!" Helen focused on doing Gwen's make-up while trying to calm her desperate daughter.
"Peter's probably there already!" Gwen said still impatiently, before looking at herself through the mirror on the wall. Walking towards Peter's direction on the altar would probably be the longest moment of her entire life.
"Gwen, you are looking gorgeous," MJ assured. "Just a few more minutes and you're going to see him."
"Where's Howard?" Gwen questioned. "He can't be late!"
"Howard is coming honey," Helen applied the pink material on Gwen's cheeks. "Don't worry." Helen felt extremely happy in seeing her daughter the way she was currently. Not long ago, she lived through the same experience.
"Sorry!" Howard clumsily entered the apartment, already wearing a black suit. He saw his sister in a way he never had seen before. "Gwen… you look amazing." He placed both hands on her waist, before looking up so that he could meet her green eyes.
"Thank you." She smiled, content.
"I'm happy for you, both of you." Howard noticed that Gwen almost released a tear. "Hey, don't cry now or you are going to ruin the make-up."
"I know." Gwen nodded.
"Okay honey, you're ready." Helen walked down from the support and checked on her work.
"How's the bite, mom?" Gwen descended the stairs with Howard's help.
"It's hidden."
"Thank god." Gwen sighed heavily.
"You guys should pose for a picture," Helen demanded as she walked to the small counter and grabbed a camera.
Howard stood on Gwen's left side with an arm around her waist while MJ stayed on her right and did the same.
"Smile!" Helen pressed the screen and recorded the unique moment.
Lighthouse - Chelsea Piers
It was nighttime. Peter greeted the guests as they arrived and sat on their respective chairs and waited for the ceremony to start. There were familiars, high school friends, and colleagues that formed the majority of the guests.
The decoration was mostly blue with some white curtains and roses that were spread on the floor. The altar was behind a huge window from where it was possible to see the sea which was put in evidence by the moon's light.
Anxious was the best word to describe how Peter was currently feeling. The rings were already there so everything was going as originally planned. There was no Spider-Man or any powered individuals, just him and Gwen.
"Parker!" Jameson hurried inside the place with his wife walking beside him. "Those pictures were gold! We're selling better than most newspapers!"
"Hi, Jonah," Peter patted him on the shoulder. "Thanks for coming"
"Yeah, yeah, look you need to take more -"
"Jonah!" His wife interjected. "You aren't going to say anything about Spider-Man today," She ordered and glanced at him with serious eyes. "This is a wedding, not a reunion."
"But-"
Peter insisted, "Thanks, Mrs. Jameson."
"No problem, honey. You are looking good." She smiled and led Jameson to their respective seats.
Later on, Eddie Brock approached him and gave Peter a friendly hug. "How are you feeling?"
Peter exhaled sharply. "Anxious, nervous… but happy." He smirked and adjusted his tie again.
"Everything will be alright," Eddie said reassuringly. "What could go wrong? You don't have any enemies, right?"
Peter laughed nervously. "Yeah, of course, why would I even have any?" He rubbed the back of his neck. "I should prepare myself, she will arrive any second by now."
"You do that, I'll be here."
Twenty minutes later...
Peter breathed heavily while he waited for Gwen to come through the main doors. He was already at the altar with the marriage official right behind him. Everyone was in total silence. They were all mostly looking at Peter. It should've been a piece of candy to him, after all, he had defeated a giant lizard, an electric guy, and a mechanical rhino, but in the end, it wasn't.
The music then began to play signaling that Gwen was near.
This is it...
Simon and his cousin entered the location. They held a blue pillow that contained the wedding rings. Howard and Gwen came right after them as everyone stood up from their seats.
Gwen smiled happily once she saw Peter waiting for her. Her nervousness and anxiety were long gone and replaced with happiness. Howard led his older sister to the altar and planted a kiss on her hand before leaving her closer to Peter. They locked their eyes on each other and smiled happily.
"Into this union of Gwendolyne Maxine Stacy and Peter Benjamin Parker now come to be joined. If any of you can show just cause why they may not be lawfully wed, speak now, or else forever hold your peace."
Nobody protested.
The official continued, "Gwendolyne Maxine Stacy, will you have this man to be your husband; to live together with him in the covenant of marriage? Will you love him, comfort him, honor and keep him, in sickness and in health; and, forsaking all others, be faithful unto him as long as you both shall live?"
"I will," Gwen replied, still looking at Peter with affectionate eyes.
In the seats, Helen wiped her tears with a tissue.
"Peter Benjamin Parker, will you have this woman to be your wife; to live together with her in the covenant of marriage? Will you love her, comfort her, honor and keep her, in sickness and in health; and, forsaking all others, be faithful unto her as long as you both shall live?"
He nodded to himself. "I will."
"Will all of you witnessing these promises do all in your power to uphold these two persons in their marriage?"
"We will." The congregation replied.
"Who gives this woman to be married to this man?" The celebrant asked.
"She gives herself, with the blessing of her mother and brother," Howard replied.
A hymn started to play before the vows started, just in a few minutes, their love over each other would be finally cemented forever.
Peter faced Gwen and took her right hand in his.
"I, Peter Benjamin Parker take you, Gwendolyne Maxine Stacy, to be my wife, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, until we are parted by death. This is my solemn vow."
May cleared her throat as she watched the pair. She and Ben were proud of everything Peter had ever done. Peter became the man they wanted him to be.
They dropped hands before Gwen took his right hand in hers.
"I, Gwendolyne Maxine Stacy, take you, Peter Benjamin Parker to be my husband, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, until we are parted by death. This is my solemn vow."
Peter slid down the ring on Gwen's ring finger. "I give you this ring as a symbol of my love, and with all that I am, and all that I have."
Gwen repeated the action. "I give you this ring as a symbol of my love, and with all that I am, and all that I have."
"Now that Gwen and Peter have given themselves to each other by solemn vows, with the joining of hands and the giving and receiving of rings, I pronounce that they are husband and wife."
Gwen and Peter stood face to face.
"Gwendolyn Maxine Stacy and Peter Benjamin Parker having witnessed your vows of love to one another, it is my joy to present you to all gathered here as husband and wife." The official turned to Peter and smiled. "You may kiss the bride."
Peter slowly leaned towards Gwen, still holding her hands on his, before kissing her lips with all the passion available. Gwen reciprocated the kiss, closing her eyes, falling into his embrace as he cupped her cheek.
Everyone raised from their chairs and cheered for the newly married couple. Gwen tore as she let Peter seal their compromise with each other, even in the darkest hour, they would always be there for each other dealing with what the future brings, no matter what.
Suddenly, Peter moved his right hand to her waist and gently leaned her down as he moved his lips to her neck. Everyone started laughing at his unexpected movement, even Gwen couldn't control her soft giggles, after all, they were now wife and husband.
Lighthouse - Wedding Reception
Peter and Gwen slowly danced in each other's arms. The reception was in the same area but a different room. The tall cake was set in the center of the room. Their miniatures were found on top of it. The tables were positioned on the walls around it.
Everyone was drinking, dancing, talking and eating some cake slices. The day would forever be remembered.
"How are you feeling?" Peter kissed the top of his wife's head while she rested her head on his shoulder, listening to the peaceful sound of his heartbeat.
"Happy… extremely happy." Gwen now cupped his cheekbones. "This is what I've always wanted." They touched their foreheads.
"Me too," Peter kissed her tiny nose. "So… Mrs. Parker?" He smiled.
"Yeah, it's one of the perks of marrying you, I guess."
"Like… Gwen Stacy Parker." Peter nodded to himself. "It sounds great." He leaned in and kissed her lips, before gazing at her green eyes.
Gwen seductively whispered in his ear, "Wait till we get home,"
"Oh, I see you have everything planned. Peter guided Gwen on their dance. "Maybe… a very nice movie with some popcorn?"
She chuckled lightly. "Nope, I bought a... very nice piece of lingerie just because of you. I'm using it right now." She winked.
Peter smiled. "... an hour into our marriage and you already want to give me a heart attack, woman."
"You have no idea."
She hugged him and sighed happily. They embraced each other for a few couple of minutes before Helen and May interrupted the recently married couple for some photos.
"Hey, lovebirds!" Helen called, catching their attention. "What about a photo for that portrait?"
Gwen smiled as she turned on Peter's grip. He wrapped both arms around her slim frame and rested his hands on her stomach. "We're ready."
".. say cheese!"
Peter abruptly opened the door to their apartment while dealing with Gwen's aggressive attacks on his lips. She pushed his tie closer to her. They walked inside as Peter closed the door with his feet and pulled Gwen up in his arms. She wrapped her legs around his waist. He carried them to their bedroom and laid Gwen on the bed, before moving himself over her.
There wasn't any talking. They simply wanted each other, to feel each other. Every kiss was a passionate one, every look was one full of desire, every moan was a deep one.
Gwen moved over him and stood over his crotch. She set her hand to her back and started to sensually unzip the gown as Peter caressed her tights.
The gown was ready to completely fall in any second. He raised from his spot and kissed her neckline, having her let out a soft moan as she removed the dress. The blue lingerie that perfectly fit her curvy and delicate body was exposed.
Peter took a moment to appreciate the beautiful woman that was straddling him. He cupped her bra-clad breasts and kissed her cleavage.
Later on, Gwen helped to remove the suit out of his body, exposing his chest and arms.
"I will love you... for the rest of my entire life," Peter said, huskily.
"... then show me… how much you love me."
A/N: Seriously, I just loved writing this… I really. I always wanted to write/read about their wedding and I think that I delivered it here. This was supposed to happen in two parts but I thought that it would be better just in one.
05/11/21 - This chapter was fully overhauled. Some scenes and dialogues were trimmed for better pacing. The S6 meeting was shortened and improved. The wedding official now has fewer religious lines. Dialogues were improved, a lot of them needed improvements. Some lines also didn't age very well, I should have paid more attention to this before I let it out years ago. Critical spelling mistakes were fixed too, lots of. Overall, the chapter is in a much better state than it was before.
