Olivia and Rafael been ignoring the subject for a week now. Since he came to see her at the hospital. Since Rafael found out that he was back. She doesn't know if Rafael is just putting it off so that she can heal or he just doesn't want to talk about it. The truth wasn't going to come out. There wasn't a chance that it could. How would he know? Fin wouldn't tell him. Rollins just answered the call.

The subject of David Haden coming back into her life now had not been talked about at all. It's been a week since she seen David at her place and now it is day 3 of coming back to work. Rafael has been distant with her, only seeing her about cases, and David last spoke to her the night before she went back to work. He said he would keep a bit of a distance until this situation calms down. Whenver that is.

Olivia sighs as she pulls her shirt over her arms and does the small buttons. Her mind keeps returning to that night. The night David went to see her. The last thing he said to her. The exact same thing he said almost 7 years ago at the donut store. "For the record detective I still want this to work. This man is driving me crazy." She thinks.

She picks up her phone and sees 2 unopened messages. Rafael is the first one.

"Oh shit here we go." She thinks as she taps on the message.

7:45AM: If you aren't busy today. I think we need to talk. Come by my office I'm not in court today.

Before she replies she sees the other message that had come a bit before Rafael's.

7:32AM: Hi. I know i haven't spoken to you in a few days but after what happened in the hospital i thought it would be best and now that you are back in work I feel like its even more necessary. I miss you.

She really misses David. Just his jokes. His voice. The way he flirts with her.

She messages Rafael back first. 7:52AM: Good morning. As long as there is nothing going on I'll come see you.

She sends the message and re reads David's. The last 3 words made her heart rate quicken.

8:01AM: Good morning. I know it's been difficult for me too. Rafael is wanting to see me today. I can't say that I hope something comes up after being involved with this unit for so long... It's never a good thing if something does come up. I miss you too.

She goes to her office and as she is walking up the stairs she receives another text.

8:12AM: Us?

8:13AM: Probably. We've not talked about it and he's been weird with me.

8:14AM: Okay. Call me if you need it.

1:30PM comes around and a knock at her door and Rafael is there with a carrier bag and some coffee.

Oh shit. Here we go. Olivia thinks.

Barba puts the coffee and the bag down and sits down. "We need to talk. Okay I'm just going to say it. Why didn't you tell me you were going to dinner? What was it you said... shopping. Did he tell you to say that? Why did you call him when you were being followed?"

"Easy Rafael. I didn't tell you because honestly I didn't think it mattered. As for the shooting... David was someone who was close and the first thing I said for him to do was call Fin."

"Ok... Did anything happen between you when you worked together?"

"Yeah. We slept together. We was going to try and make it work. But that was years ago. I've got you now."

"So you still want me then?"

"What? Why wouldn't I not want you?"

"Because... Me and David didn't fight because of work. I assume he didn't tell you that I hit him because he slept with my girlfriend at the time. He probably just said there was a bit of blood. I broke his nose."
