She's sat with David and telling him. She gets to the part about the hospital and David laughs.

"So hang on..." He says trying not to laugh. "He thinls that you would want to have sex when you've just been shot and also had to have a small operation and did i mention a that you lost a lot of blood?"

"I know..."

"Fin never bought me coffee either i would have just thought he was being nice."

"David, Rafael told me the fight was about a girl... is it true?"

"Not exactly. She dumped Rafael after a drunken kiss with me. Rafael found out and you know the rest. The work thing happened before it."

"Okay."

The table they were sat on faced the window but was blocked on the bottom so you couldn't see under their table, David took this to his advantage and put his hand on Olivia's knee. She put her hand on top of his and they stayed like that for the reminder of the time together.

"Liv... What are you going to do about him?"

"I don't know. If I end the relationship he will move away from my team and well you know how that will go down. We have a few major court cases going on at the moment and our ADA leaving wouldn't help things and if I stay then..." she trails of and mutters a quick "I don't want to talk about that" as she tightens her grip on his hand.

"Want to go?"

"We need to stay in public." She sighs. "Yes. Lets go." She says after David gives her a look.

They walk down the streets togehter making an unspoken agreement to enjoy themselves. David pulls her into him and smiles. He runs his hand down her back before caressing her cheek "You know... one day I'll take you somewhere and we won't have to worry about what people think it can just be us and a good time."

Olivia leans into his touch and as they are about to kiss her phone rings. "If he's followed us I'm going with you." She says.

She answers her phone with a quick "Benson."

"Liv you need to get back as soon as possible. Chief Dodds will be here in an hour."

"Bad fucking timing. Okay. I'll head back. Shit... that dam paperwork hasn't moved since the last time he came." She says.

David whistles for a cab and she gets off the phone. "I'm so sorry." Olivia says leaning into him. He wraps his arms around her.

"Liv... it's okay. I can't have my favourite lieutenant getting into trouble." She chuckles and he whispers into her ear "is it too risky for me to kiss you?"

She answers by wrapping her arms around him and kissing him on his lips before getting into the taxi.

Her phone buzzes in her hand.

3:43PM: I love you lieutenant.

She smiles but her smile fades as soon as she realises that she still needs to face Rafael at some point.

3:44PM: I love you too. Councillor.
