The only source of light within the rather dark area came from the ceiling lamp that was set right above the table in the middle. Thunders could be heard from outside and through the only window in the room, a couple of metal bars in the window could be seen outside.
The rain wasn't giving up anytime soon.
Spider-Man stood still within the shadows in the corner of the room. The white lenses in his mask appeared through the darkness.
Two guards held Norman Osborn still in his wheelchair. A third person joined them and applied the syringe into Norman's shoulder. Peter decided to try and save Norman Osborn's life with a serum made by him. He came up with a serum in his father's lab after coming back from his vacation. He couldn't let him die in such a brutal way, even if he deserved to.
Norman had accepted it.
He regretted not getting himself together and worked on a solution for Harry when he first asked for his help many years ago. There were a lot of things going on back then, he failed to handle all of them properly.
One of the guards spoke, "I'm not sure if I want this to work."
Norman looked at the guard and smiled.
Spider-Man began, "He's going to die, maybe tomorrow, maybe next year… but I did my part, I tried."
Norman turned his head in Spider-Man's direction. "I should thank you… were it not for your family, I would be long gone. I… I doubt we can stay away from each other."
Spider-Man remained silent.
"You should have worked for Oscorp, but maybe you will… eventually. We will get in touch again."
Spider-Man took a step forward and leaned in close to Norman's face. "You will rot here, Norman." He continued, "You're going to stay here for the rest of your life, if you find a way to leave… I'll find you myself, and you then won't be back in this room.
Norman smiled, looking forward to the future.

"I can't ever get this thing right!" Peter sighed heavily. He watched himself in the mirror at the wardrobe's door. He tried to adjust his work tie.
Gwen stepped out of the bathroom clad in her blue bra and snug jeans. She carried lipstick in her hand. "What are you ranting about?"
He briefly turned his head to the side and towards her. He frowned. "It's a mess."
Gwen smiled. "Let me help you with that." She closed the lipstick and threw it over their bed.
She approached her husband and held him by the tie and looked at his eyes for a short moment, smiling playfully. She then began working on his tie. "You know, you'll get fired if you keep arriving late to your new job."
"A bioscientist has his perks."
"While he's employed, yes." She teased.
Gwen adjusted his tie. She looked up at his eyes again. "This will do, you're looking great." She patted him in his toned chest and headed to pick a blouse in their wardrobe.
Peter planted a quick kiss on the back of her neck and had her shiver at the touch. She smiled as he walked around the bed to check on his phone that was set over the counter next to his side.
Gwen eyed the option in front of her. She began, "I've been thinking…"
Peter texted May a good morning. "About what?"
"Um, we… we quickly talked about this before, I just wanted to know if-"
Peter's phone rang in his hands. He frowned at it. "It's Jameson."
Gwen sighed. "Pick it up, honey."
"Sorry." He brought the phone to his ear. "Morning, Jameson."
"Parker...!"
Peter moved the phone inches away from his ear after he was yelled at. "Yes?"
"Where are you?" Jameson questioned. "Where are my pictures?!"
"What do you mean?" He scratched his head. "I'm not working for you anymore, not full-time at least. Empire University has hired me."
"What? I don't remember that!"
"You just remember what's in your wallet." Peter checked on his watch. "I really have to go now. We can talk later. You should ask Eddie for some pictures until then."
"Wait-"
Peter placed the phone in the pocket of his pants and looked at his wife. She was finishing closing the buttons in her white blouse. "You were going to say something, love?"
Gwen smiled. "We can talk about it some other time. We need to go now."
He approached her and rested his hands on her waist. "Are you sure? I always have time for you."
Gwen kissed his lips and picked up her purse from the bed. "Yes, I'm sure." She took her hand on his. "Let's go?"
Later in the day, Gwen and Mary Jane shared a table at their favorite Japanese restaurant. It was time for lunch. The restaurant was quite crowded at such a point. After all, the city of New York never stopped and neither did its citizens.
Gwen couldn't help but glance through the window at a couple that held their daughter's hands as they all walked down the street. She couldn't be more than four.
"Gwen?"
For a moment, she pictured the image of Peter and her standing outside the restaurant with a child in their hands.
"Hey, Gwen?" MJ waved her hand in front of her friends' eyes.
Gwen finally came back to reality. "Oh, I'm so sorry." She turned away from the window and smiled.
"Where were you at?"
"I just… got distracted." Gwen took the menu in her hands.
"Care to share?"
Gwen shrugged her shoulders. "It's nothing."
"Pretty please...?"
She sighed heavily. "Well, it's just that I saw a family outside and I… I thought about me and Peter." She continued "You know… if we could have a child together one day, how would it be like? Or if I'm even capable of being a mother?"
"You're so cute."
Gwen rolled her eyes.
MJ chuckled. "I think you would be a great mom, that's for sure. You two will turn out great parents."
"But we are going to be parents right now. I don't want to rush this."
"Yes, I know, Gwendy. I meant it in the future."
"You really think so?"
MJ nodded, convinced. "Everyone likes you, and you are like a mother to your youngest brother." She added, "Now I'm so excited to hold you guys' baby!"
Gwen grinned. "Now, let's just calm down. I'm just saying."
As wonderful as such a scenario could be, she knew that it wasn't that easy. They couldn't just get into baby-making without talking about some matters. Peter was genetically different, they would have to be careful in that regard to avoid any complications.
All of that wouldn't matter if Peter didn't want to have a child.
"Seriously, what's the first name that comes into your mind?" MJ asked, supporting her head with both hands.
"Are we getting there already?"
"Hell yes!"
"Well, he mentioned this name some time ago, Elizabeth, if it's a girl. I think it's a beautiful name, but I would just tease him and say it's my pick." She chuckled. "I think he met this child once called Elizabeth, she was sick, they became friends. He hasn't told me much about it."
"I see." MJ said, "What if-"
Gwen interrupted her, "MJ…"
"What?" She laughed. "You got me excited!"
The waiter approached the table they were in and set the plates and chopsticks on the table. He questioned, "Anything else I can help with?"
Gwen picked her two chopsticks and looked at the waiter. "That's enough, thank you."
"My pleasure." He walked away.
Gwen focused on MJ. "Anyway, thanks for saying these kind words."
"No problem, beautiful."
"You're going to promise me that you're going to be a good boy from now on."
Spider-Man demanded to the robber he had webbed against the door to the rooftop they were in. The young man had tried to assault a woman back in the street. "Or else I'm going to bring you to the cops since you still are kinda… young." He crawled above the robber in the door.
"I won't promise anything."
Spider-Man chuckled. "You know, spiders have this old habit of sucking the blood out of their prey after they are trapped… just like you right now." He lifted his mask to reveal his mouth.
"Y-You… you won't do it...!" He panicked as Spider-Man leaned towards his neck.
"I'm kinda hungry right now so..." Spider-Man continued. He tried to contain himself from not falling into the ground and laugh all the way through.
"N-No! I will be a good boy, Mr. Spider-Man!" He closed his eyes. "I… I had to do this… I'm so sorry. I didn't want to."
Spider-Man covered his mouth once again. He stopped in his tracks. "Hey..." He then landed on the floor and started to remove the webbing that was trapping him. "I was joking, don't mind me."
The robber sat down on the floor and rested his back against the door. He buried his head on his knees. "I've just… my sister is running out of her medicine, it's too expensive. I couldn't… I couldn't find another way, I tried… nobody wanted me, nobody wanted us."
Spider-Man crouched. "Hey, I can see that you didn't want this, I understand this." He paused, "Look, there's organization… it's called 'Feast', it gives assistance to people in need of help. I know some in there, I'll talk to them. We'll find a way to help you, ok?"
"Do you mean that?"
"Yes, of course. It's in Chinatown. I could swing you there. What do you think?"
The Shops at Columbus Circle - Manhattan
After wrapping her tasks at work, Gwen went to the local mall and started to search for presents for Christmas. Peter was still busy at the Bugle. He went to meet Jameson and discuss a new contract since he had a new full-time job, a much better one at that.
Gwen was surprised at Peter's willingness to work on three jobs. She later approached the showcase of a store that was filled with Spider-Man toys, bed covers, and even baby diapers. She was amused at her husband's popularity. She couldn't be more proud of his accomplishments.
"Hey, beautiful." Peter snaked both arms around her waist and rested his chin on her shoulder. He planted a delicate kiss on the skin of her cheek. "Found anything?
Gwen turned her face towards him and kissed his lips. "All I can see is Spider-Man stuff.
Peter caressed her stomach and glanced at the showcase. "Oh well... maybe I should try to copyright Spider-Man."
"Can Spider-Man sign all the papers?" She teased.
Peter played along, "Maybe there's a way, I'll reach that famous lawyer everyone talks about from time to time. Who knows?" He eyed the rest of the collection in front of them. "Simon would love some of these."
"He sure will. Did you have a good day?" She asked as they started to walk together while wrapped in each other's arms.
"It was alright. There's this new project going around… bio-fusion. I also tried to place this kid on the right path. He had mugged a woman, he needed to get his sister's medicine."
"That's good, right? What you did to him?"
"I hope it turns out well."
"It will. That's actually quite the win," She kissed his cheek. "I'm proud of you."
Gwen leaned the back of her head against Peter. "Do you want to look for a new suit? I'm sure you will need more than one now."
"That would be a great idea."
They entered a rather exquisite store with suits of all colors and materials. Gwen went to the stand that contained more professional clothes with Peter tagging along from behind. He decided to let her pick the best sets she could find.
"Okay, Peter." Gwen grabbed a dark set and placed it over his chest. She thought it would fit him. "Go try this one."
He picked the set from her hands and gave Gwen a quick peck on the lips and walked away.
Gwen kept looking for more options and focused on the stands in front of her. What she didn't expect was some random man to approach her and ask for her attention.
"Excuse me, ma'am."
Gwen turned on her feet and spotted the very young man, maybe a bit younger than her, wearing military clothes. She never met him before, but she soon figured out what it was about. "What can I help you with?"
"Um… well, as you can see, I'm from this wonderful country and I could be deployed to Afghanistan at any moment." He began as his friends from a distance away at the store's entrance door could be seen holding themselves from not laughing their way into the ground.
Gwen remained serious. "And?"
"So… um, maybe you could go on a date with me? You're beautiful and-"
"Hey Gwen, how do I look-" Peter approached her, wearing the dark suit she gave him before. "Who's your friend?"
"You're looking great," Gwen replied and leaned up, wrapping both arms around his neck and passionately kissing his lips.
The young man's face turned into a shade of red.
"I-I… I gotta go." He quickly walked away.
Peter broke the loving kiss and glanced at the group that was now leaving the store while mocking their friend. "Who's that?"
"Just a silly young boy," Gwen replied, with a cocky smile. "You look amazing,
"Yeah, I think it's great too. I mean- they are all great for me, there isn't really any difference."
"Not that you would notice them, honey," Gwen gently grabbed his hand and walked them to the register.
After the credits of the movie that Peter and Gwen were watching in the theater began to roll, they eventually got back home and were now standing alone in the elevator that ascended to the floor they lived on.
Peter embraced Gwen from behind Gwen. He wrapped his arms around her waist and began kissing her neck. She closed her eyes as her body shivered at the delicate and sensitive spot he was planting kisses in.
She held a bag in her right hand. The gifts they had bought were there.
"Still impatient. Gwen kept an eye on the elevator's panel.
"I'm ready for duty… all kinds of duty."
She teased, "Are you sure?"
"Pretty sure." He added, "Back at the store, that was brutal." He slipped a hand underneath her coat and blouse.
"He needed a lesson."
He inhaled the scent in her neck. Gwen turned her head slightly away from him due to the sensitivity there. "You're evil."
The doors to the elevator were open and Gwen quickly got off his arms. She received a discontent moan from her husband. She entered their apartment and found Ren fastly asleep on the couch. Her purse was set over the counter in the kitchen and her coat was moved to the hanger.
She turned to Peter who stood still in front of the main door. She placed her hands on her waist and smiled. He had a look on him of someone that had everything planned. "What were you saying, honey?"
She approached him, slowly.
"Nevermind that. I already have everything figured out."
"Oh, such a mastermind that you are." She winked and wrapped her arms around his neck. "You know, I haven't really properly rewarded you for concluding college."
"That you haven't." Peter leaned closer and met her sweet lips and tongue. He gripped her buttocks harder.
Gwen broke away from him and took his hand as she pulled him into the bedroom. She couldn't tease him any further. She desired him just as much as he wanted her.
Peter fastly jumped onto the bed, took his shirt off, and began to remove his shoes. Gwen threw all her weight on one hip, putting on a smoldering gaze, and attracting Peter's eyes once more. He surveyed her in her blouse, though he was already undressing her in his mind.
"Peter, I know what you're doing," Gwen winked at him. "But hold on for a minute, I'll change into something… different."
She gave him another wink before heading into the bathroom, giving him a sway of the hips before closing the door. Peter stripped off his jeans, casting them onto the ground next to the bed. He sat on the bed as he waited for Gwen to come out of the bathroom.
She came out after a few minutes, and he got a hell of a surprise.
"Holy gosh..." He paused. "Was it always that tight?"
Gwen wore his first Spider-Man suit minus the mask. It clung to her every curve, tight on every inch of her skin. She moved around in her finger a handcuff. His eyes traveled from up her long slender legs to her hips and got too close to her...
"Peter! Should you really stare at a lady's… VIP zone like that?" He looked up to the source of the teasing voice. "It's really not very gentleman-like."
"Oh, I'm so, so very sorry, Mrs. Parker." Peter's eyes remained locked to Gwen's as she began to slowly crawl onto the bed and towards him. "You're just gorgeous, and… perfect."
"Oh?" Gwen pushed his body down onto the pillows, climbing on top of him. "I am."
"I know right." Peter's eyes roamed her torso as he rubbed his hands along her hips after she grounded them against his own.
She teased, "I think you have been bad lately. Do I need to arrest you?"
Peter nodded, eagerly. "Of course, always, Spider-Woman."
They kissed once more for a couple of frenzied sections, that was their moment and they would enjoy every single second of it.
Gwen pulled the suit's shirt over her head and revealed her chest to him in a rather flamboyant red bra – one that he had never seen before.
Peter was already losing it. "My... god, you need to take this suit off now!"
She replied huskily, "Aye aye…"
