This should be interesting.
The hero of Falconreach more commonly known as Natsu, wearing his soulweaver robes ,was sitting at a table in the Serene inn when he felt someone tap his shoulder. He turned and smirked at the purple hair beauty.
"What do I owe the pleasure too mistress of Void?"
Nythera chuckles,"Can't I pay a visit to the hero of Falconreach?"
Natsu gestured to the sit to his left which she accepts. Everyone in the inn and the town knew they had feelings for another but would never act on them. Nythera wouldn't act due to her lineage and Natsu's power; Natsu would never act on his feelings due to what happened with Serenity and her final words to him.
They traded stories and reminisced about old times with old friends for a long time. As the light faded and the patrons left for their rooms, only those two were left. Nythera was about to get up to leave when she felt pain.
"Where is was the pain?"
She smiled warmly," The left leg where I got hit, when fighting... I miss her."
Natsu wiped a tear forming an eye,"I do too. Nythera as long as we think about, she will always be alive. Now come on i'll help to my home where you will stay the night."
Nythera accepted this; Natsu wrapped his arm around her side when she stood up, Nythera blushed lightly as they were very close. With him supporting her they left the inn and walked the warmly lit streets of Falconreach until they reached the outskirts of the town where they took a turning towards the ocean and kept walking until they came across a small castle.
Natsu opened the door and helped Nythera to the nearby sofa where he placed her down softly. He left the room for a minute and returned with a medical kit. Natsu began to wrap the area that was painful for Nythera when he felt a hand brushing through his hair carefully. He looked at her and they looked at each other. Nythera moved to sit up as Natsu moved and sat where she was just laying, she moved her body so she was also sitting with her head on his shoulder as he rested his on hers.
"Who would have thought all those years ago we would be here right...," Natsu began before in a flash Nythera was sitting on him looking at him.
They both knew what each other wanted as they wanted it to but they knew it could never happen, so they stayed in position while they were awake and when they fell asleep, they ended up holding each other with smiles knowing this was the closest they could be. For now that is.
