Abhijeet showed his injured hand and said " Dekho mere haath ko lagi hai. Isliye tum hi banao. Ghar aaye mehman ko khud hi apne liye coffee banane ko bol rahe hai. "
Daya : Itna explanation dene ki jarurat nahi hai. Mai jakar banata hu.
He went inside and made coffee for both of them and came back having two mugs of coffee in his hands. He forwarded one to Abhijeet.
Abhijeet was about to take the mug , when Daya said " Sambhal ke. "
Abhijeet : Ha. Aisa lag raha hai ki lagi mujhe hai magar dard tumko ho raha hai.
Daya : Baat to sahi kahi hai boss. Tumhe bhi to dard hota hoga na jab mujhe lagta hai.
Abhijeet changed his expressions and said " Bilkul bhi nahi. "
Daya : Sach me tumhe bilkul bhi dard nahi hota ?
Abhijeet : Ha nahi hota.
Daya took his coffee mug and accidently his hand touched on the hot part of mug and instantly he moved his hand away.
Abhijeet : Ek kaam dhang se nahi hota tumse. Lag gaya na chatka.
Daya in return gave him a smile.
Abhijeet : Mai yaha daant raha hu aur tumhe hasi aa rahi hai haan.
Daya : Wo isliye akhir tumne bata hi diya ki tumhe meri fikr hai.
Abhijeet moved his face towards other direction and took his coffee mug and started sipping it slowly.
Abhijeet : Coffee acchi banayi hai tumne.
Daya : Iska matlab tum manoge nahi ?
Abhijeet : Na.
Daya : Bohot ziddi ho tum.
Abhijeet : Akhir tumhara hi dost hu and he winked.
Daya : Kahi bahar ghumne chale ?
Abhijeet : Neki aur puch puch.
Waise bhi is khoon kharabe ke beech me time kaha milta hai.
Daya : Ha chalte hai.
After some time , both of them were ready to go out. Daya was locking the door of his house. At the same time , Abhijeet ' s phone rang.
Abhijeet : Ho gaya plan chaupat.
Daya : Kyu kya hua ?
Abhijeet : Acp sahab ka phone hai.
Daya : To uthao na.
Abhijeet : Uthatha hu.
He picked up the call and answered as
" Hello sir.
Daya kya ?
Ha sir hum log bas abhi aate hai. "
He kept the call.
Abhijeet : Ho gaya satyanash. Maine kaha tha plan cancel.
Daya : Lekin hua kya hai ?
Abhijeet : Acp sahab ne urgent bureau bualaya hai.

Both of them came to bureau. They saw the team already present to bureau.
All of them were standing in a row. Each one of them were looking towards each others face. Acp pradyuman was standing im front of them and said " Aaj se hum logo ke saath do naye officers aane wale hai. "
He just waited for a minute. After a minute dcp chitrole along with two officers arrived.
Abhijeet : Bas inhi ki kami thi jo ye bhi aa gaye.
Daya : Ha yaar.
Dcp chitrole :Kuch kaha tum logo ne ?
Daya : Nahi to sir.
Dcp chitrole : Ye sab chodo. Inse milo ye hai inspector Raghav aur inspector Ayush. Aaj se ye tum logo ke saath kaam karenge aur in dono ko train Daya aur Abhijeet tum dono karoge.

Abhijeet, Daya : Yes sir.
Dcp chitrole : Ek aur baat aaj se har case 48 ghante me solve hoga.
Freddy : Magar sir har case ko solve karne ke liye alag alag waqt lagta hai koi case jaldi solve ho jata haj ya kisi case ko bohot waqt lagta hai.
Dcp chitrole : Wo sab mai nahi jaanta. Abse har case 48 ghante me solve hoga. Agar tum logo se nahi ho paya to dafa hk jao cid se.
Acp pradyuman : Thik hai sir har case 48 ghante me solve hoga.
At the same time, dcp chitrole ' s phone started ringing. He said " Mai nikalta hu. Kuch jaruri kaam nikal kar aaya hai. "
Dcp chitrole left bureau. Acp pradyuman introduced Raghav and Ayush to everyone in bureau.
All of them welcomed both of them.

Acp pradyuman : Hum sab 2 - 2 logo ki teams banayenge aur teams me kaam karenge.
Daya tum teams banao.
Daya : Ha sir.
He made teams and gave the paper to Acp pradyuman. Acp pradyuman read the teams and said " Daya tum aur Abhijeet saath me kaam nahi karoge. "
Daya : Magar kyun sir ?
Acp pradyuman : Bhul gaye Daya chitrole ne kaha tha ki tumhe aur Abhijeet ko Raghav aur Ayush ko train karna hai.
Daya : Ha sir.
He came back outside with disappointment. Abhijeet went near him.
Abhijeet : Kya hua Daya ?
Daya : Kuch nahi.
Abhijeet : Mujhe pata hai ki koi to baat hai jo tumhe pareshan kar rahi hai.
He started thinking and after a minute said " Sir nahi chahte ki hum dono ki ek team bane. "
Daya looked towards him in shock.
Abhijeet : Ab aise mat dekho tumhare dimag me kya chal raha hai sab pata hai mujhe.
Daya : Sahi kaha tumne.
Abhijeet : Ek team me nahi honge to kya hua saath me kaam to hum log karenge na.
Daya : Hmm.
Abhijeet : Chalo ab thoda muskurao.
They heard Acp pradyuman calling for everyone. Daya smiled a little bit and said " Chalo chalte hai. "
All of them gathered around Acp pradyuman.
Acp pradyuman : Jaisa ki tum logo ko pata hai ki hum log teams bana kar kaam karenge. To teams kuch is tarah se hai.

All of them went to bureau parking and from there they were going to their respective homes.
Both Daya and Abhijeet were in bureau parking.
Daya : Chalo chalte hai.
Both of them sat inside car and Daya was driving car.
Daya : Ek baat kahu mujhe to laga tha ki aaj ka dinner to gaya.
Abhijeet : Tum bhi na humesha khaane ke baare me hi baatein kiya karo.
Daya : Tumhara dhyan humesha mere khaane ki taraf hota hai.
Abhijeet : Haan to cid officer ka fit rehna jaruri hai yaar.
Daya : Mai tumse to jyada hi fit hu. Mai to roj gym jaata hu. Kitni baar kaha hai maine tumhe saath chalo. Magar tum ho ki maante hi nahi ho.
Abhijeet : Daya gadi roko.
Daya : Lekin hua kya ?
Abhijeet : Saamne dekho.
Daya looked at front and saw restaurant. Both of them got down from car and had their dinner in restaurant.
Daya : Chalo.
Abhijeet : Ab kaha ?
Daya : Tumhare favorite place par.
Abhijeet : Is waqt bureau kyu ja rahe hai ?
Daya : Maine kab kaha ki hum log bureau ja rahe hai ?
Abhijeet sensed the upcoming danger.
Abhijeet : No. Hum log hospital nahi ja rahe hai.
Daya : Maine pucha kuch tumse.
Abhijeet : Arey yaar bas chhoti si chot hai. Thik ho jayegi.
Daya : Mujhe pata hai ki kitni chhoti chot hai.
Abhijeet : Tumne dressing kar di hai na.
Daya : Ha dressing kar di hai. Magar phir bhi ek baar doctor ko dikhane ke liye kya harz hai.
Abhijeet : Chalo.
Daya : Badi asani se maan gaye .
Abhijeet : Agar nahi maanta to bhi lekar hi chalte na tum. Isse accha hai ki khud hi raazi ho jayo.
Daya : Samjhdar ho gaye ho tum.
Abhijeet : Tumse to jyada hi samjhdar ho samjhe.
Both of them reached hospital. Doctor checked the wound and advised not to use hand for 2 - 3 days and after one day come to hospital for changing dressing.
After coming back from the hospital ,
Abhijeet : Ho gayi tassali ?
Daya : Hmm.
Abhijeet : Chalein ab ya Yahi rehne ka irada hai.
Daya : Tum ruko mai gadi nikalta hu.
Abhijeet stayed there only and Daya came back after taking car from parking. Daya then dropped Abhijeet at his house.
Daya : Suno dhyan rakhna haath ka.
Abhijeet : Ha ha rakhunga.
Daya : Mera gift ready rakhna.
Abhijeet : Gift kis baat ke liye ?
Daya : Kal ka din yaad nahi hai tumhe ?
Abhijeet pretended to think and said " Kal kuch hai kya ? "
Daya : Come on yaar. Tum kal ka din kaise bhul sakte ho ?
Abhijeet : Tumhe pata hai na mujhe bhoolne ki bimari hai.
Daya : Majak. Abhi bhi majak sujh raha hai tumhe.
Abhijeet made a serious face and acted like he is remembering something.
Daya : Kuch yaad aaya ?
Abhijeet : Oh god ! Itni badi baat bhul kaise gaya mai.
Daya : Kya ?
Abhijeet : Actually kal mera ek dost mujhse milne aane wala hai. Mai to bhul hi gaya tha lekin accha hua tumne yaad dila diya. Kal khaas mujh se milne ke liye aa raha hai india.
Daya face fall down but maintained a straight face and said " Accha ab mai nikalta hu. Kafi raat ho gayi hai. Kal bureau bhi to jaana hai. Good night "
Abhijeet : Good night.
Daya went to his home. Abhijeet after confirming that Daya was gone , a smile came on his face.
Abhijeet : Ye Daya bhi na.
Tumhe kya laga ki mai bhul gaya ki kal friendship day hai. Ye din mai bhul kaise sakta hu ?
He then went inside his house and slept. On the other side Daya also came to house . He stayed wake till 12 am for checking wishes but all his hopes vanished as he got no wishes and giving up all the hopes he slept.
The next morning arose. Daya came inside cid bureau , he found Abhijeet discussing something with Freddy where as Ayush working on computer. He went to his desk. On his desk , he found a neatly packed gift.
Daya : ( thinking ) Ye gift mere desk par kya kar raha hai ? Kholke dekhta hu.
He took that gift and removed cover, found a bracelet inside it having chains and blue gem present at the center.

Daya : Bracelet wo bhi mere liye.
He was thinking about who kept the bracelet on his desk. He decided to ask Freddy and Abhijeet whether they had seen anyone kepping the bracelet on his desk.
Another idea popped in his mind that Abhijeet may have kept the bracelet on his desk but then remembered their last night conversation.
Daya : ( Thinking ) Abhijeet ko to yaad ji nahi hai ki aaj kya hai. Phir kaun ho sakta hai ?
At the same time Raghav came inside bureau and reported to him. Keeping his thoughts aside for a while, he decided to assign task to Raghav first. He took out his drawer and found a letter placed inside. He took that letter and kept it on his table and took that particular file and gave it to Raghav for completing it.
After assigning task to Raghav , he took that letter and started reading it.
It said
Happy Friendship Day. Ek chhota sa tohfa mere taraf se tumhare liye. Agar tumhe pasand aaye to jarur pehna na.
Tumhara sabse khas dost.
Daya : Ye hai kaun jisne ye mere liye table par rakha.
He went near Freddy and asked " Freddy kya tumne kisko mere table par box rakhte dekha ? "
Freddy : Nahi to sir. Mai jab aaya tab ye box pahle se hi aapke table par tha.
He then went near Abhijeet and asked him the same question. He replied the same answer.
Freddy saw a bracelet which he was holding in his hand.
Freddy : Sir ye aapke haath me ka bracelet dikhaye.
Daya showed him bracelet.
Freddy : Sir ye bracelet to bohot hi accha hai. Aapko ye kisne diya ?
Daya : Pata nahi Freddy. Bas mere table ke upar mila ye. Freddy tumhe yaad hai aaj kya hai ?
Freddy : Kuch hai kya sir ?
Daya : ( murmuring ) Ise bhi yaad nahi.
Kuch nahi Freddy bas aise hi puch liya.
At the same time landline of cid bureau rang. Freddy picked up the phone.
" Hello cid bureau.
Kya ?
Jee hum log abhi aate hai. "
Freddy : Sir ek case report hua hai.
Daya : Thik hai mai aur Raghav jaate hai spot par.
Daya : Raghav chalo hume nikalna hai.
Both of them went to crime spot. After they left, Freddy said " Abhijeet sir kyu tang kar rahe hai aap Daya sir ko ? "
Abhijeet : ( innocently ) Maine kya kiya hai Freddy ?
Freddy : Mujhe pata hai. Aap hi ne rakha tha box Daya sir ke table par aur wo letter bhi aap hi rakha na.
Abhijeet : Sahi keh rahe ho Freddy.
