A/N: This is another of my favourites, as I like how Kai used his own judgement to save the colony. He really earned that award at the end, and if I knew what his rank was, a promotion as well.

Kendrix: Previously on Power Rangers Lost Galaxy.
Villamax raced his motorbike on Onyx, as Trakeena ran after him.
"Let me train you..."
Trakeena did some sit-ups, as Kegler held her legs.
"..and the Universe will..."
Trakeena sent a kick at Villamax, who blocked it with his forearm, and then she blocked one from him with her hands.
"..shudder in fear." Villamax promises.
"Who did this to my father?" Trakeena demands, staring at Deviot.
"The Red Ranger." Deviot replies.
Leo and Trakeena begin fighting each other, and then Trakeena kicks Leo in the back.
"Then he will pay." Trakeena vows.
Leo hits the ground on his chest.
Gwen pulls herself up while staring at Minos in the city.
"You're going far away from here, Ranger!" Minos barks.
They then lock their weapons in a forest.
Shondra turns into Rykon while holding the Galaxy Book, as Maya stares at her.
"You're not taking that book!" Maya snaps.
The people of Terra Venture stare at Trakeena on a screen in the city, including Damon.
"I demand you send me your best mechanic!" she demands.
Damon stares at Trakeena on the Scorpion Stinger.
"Where's High Council Reiner?!" Damon demands.
Leo and Gwen release High Councilor Reiner from the cell bay.
"Come on." Leo said, taking the Councilor's hand.
Mike flies the gunship with all four of them on away from the Scorpion Stinger.
As Terra Venture moved towards a Red Star, Commander Stanton and a man in blue entered Command Headquarters, where seveal people in blue - including Kai - were working at the panels.
"It's important." the Commander said. "I need you to take care of it immediately."
The man nodded and walked off.
Commander Stanton then walked over to Kai, before seeing the Red Star on a screen.
"Mr. Chen." he said.
Kai turned around. "Yes, sir?" he asked.
"Distance to the star?" the Commander asked, as a woman got up and walked away.
Kai looked at his panel to check the distance. "83.4 gigameters, sir." he answered. "GSA procedures say we should change course in exactly...6 hours, 24 minutes."
"That's what the procedures say. But what do your instincts say, Mr. Chen?" Commander Stanton asked, walking past him.
Kai looked confused, having done everything by the book since he joined the GSA - due to him being from a strict military family. "Uh...sir?" he said.
Commander Stanton stood still, waiting for an answer.
Kai thought for a minute, before he answered. "I'd say change course now, while we still have room to manoeuvre. You can't be too safe around a giant Red Star, sir."
"Very good." Commander Stanton commented, nodding, before he turned around. "Procedures are fine, but you've gotta think for yourself. Trust your instincts."
Kai smiled, knowing what the Commander meant. "Yes, sir." he said.
Meanwhile, on the Scorpion Stinger, Kegler was pacing around on the bridge, as Trakeena and Villamax both watched.
"The gravity's inversely proportional to the square of the distance..." he began.
Trakeena motioned Villamax to lean closer to her.
"..and dependant on..." Kegler continued.
"Your evilness?" Villamax whispered.
"Is he speaking English?" Trakeena asked quietly.
"Yes, princess. What he's trying to say is, that the Terra Venture is getting close to that Star." Villamax explained, pointing at the viewing screen. "If they were to, somehow lose power, the gravity would suck them right into it."
Trakeena got up, thinking. "They'd burn up in a star?" she said.
"Excatly." Villamax confirmed.
Trakeena grinned, liking that idea. "What a shame." she said.
Intro:
The Rangers fly their Jet Jammers out of a hanger, and then towards the Scorpion Stinger.
Power Rangers...
Furio puts his sword into the ground, and begins turning Mirinoi to stone, as the people try to run.

Later, in the park in the City Dome, as a bunch of people were either walking around, playing or sitting and talking, Jodie was drawing a picture of her father. She just finished coloring in the moustache, before she stared at her father, who was going through some papers, and then finished coloring in the hair.
"This one's for you, Daddy." she said, showing him it.
Commander Stanton turned to the drawing and smiled, before he got up.
"You are getting very good, young lady." he remarked, as he walked towards Jodie.
He then bent down near her and looked at the picture.
"That's a pretty good likeness." he commented, taking a closer look.
A fallen ice themed angel monster called Icy Angel appeared behind a tree, and then stared at the Stantons.
"That's just like my beard." Commander Stanton admitted.
Icy Angel then laughed menacingly as Commander Stanton gave Jodie the drawing, before getting up. The Commander looked confused, as everyone began to look around. He turned to two girls talking to each other, and a boy catching a Frisbee, when Icy Angel showed up in front of them, out of a bunch of snowflakes, while holding a Bow.
"Ah." Jodie gasped, getting up, hiding behind her father.
"Stingwingers!" Icy Angel said coldly.
A bunch of Stingwingers showed up in front of her.
"Attack!" Icy Angel ordered.
Everyone turned and ran off as the Stingwingers charged at them, as Commander Stanton turned to Jodie.
"Jodie, come on." he said, as they both ran off. "This way."
They both ran towards a bush and hid in it.
"Daddy, what's happening?" Jodie cried. "I'm scared!"
"It's okay." Commander Stanton said.
He looked through the gaps in the bushes, and saw everyone either running away, or tripping and falling to the ground.
"Where do you think you're going?" Icy Angel inquired.
She shot snow from her mouth, which hit five people as they backed away slowly.
Commander Stanton watched in horror as he held Jodie, and then sparks came up from the ground, knocking some people over.
"Jodie, you stay here." the Commander instructed, touching Jodie's arms.
He then ran out of the bush towards the people lying down, and then crouched down near them.
"Come on!" he said, helping a woman up. "You gotta get up. Are you okay?"
The woman ran off as he helped a man up.
"Let's go, hurry!" he said.
"Just the man I've been looking for." Icy Angel hissed, lifting her Bow up, and then pulled an arrow back. "You're mine, now."
Jodie gasped as she aimed her arrow at her father.
Icy Angel fired her arrow, which hit the Commander in the shoulder before he could dodge, knocking him down onto his side.
"Daddy!" Jodie cried.
She ran out of the bush, just as the arrow dug into the Commander's body. She then crouched down near her father, and then shook him slightly.
"Daddy!" Jodie cried. "Daddy, wake up?! Daddy! Daddy, wake up?!"
"Ah...how sweet." Icy Angel said, aiming another arrow.
"Daddy!" Jodie cried.
Icy Angel readied her arrow, when Leo showed up - already morphed. He jumped up, twirled around and corkscrew kicked Icy Angel as she turned around.
"Huh?" she muttered, before Leo kicked her.
She fell onto the ground as Leo back flipped and landed crouched down. Kai and Damon then sideways handspringed behind Leo on either side of him - Kai on his left, Damon on his right - then Kendrix and Maya jumped towards them from either side - Kendrix on their left, Maya on their right - and then Gwen showed up behind them. They all did their fight poses as Icy Angel got back up, while most the Stingwingers gathered around her, their backs to the Stantons.
"Well, look who's come to save the day?" Icy Angel mocked.
"Daddy, wake up!" Jodie cried, shaking her father.
"That's right!" Kai snapped.
"Why? I was only playing with them." Icy Angel said coldly.
"Well, we don't like the way you play!" Leo retorted.
"Like this?" Icy Angel asked, charging at the Rangers.
The boys then charged at her, as the girls began to fight the Stingwingers near them.
Kendrix dodged as one tried to hit her with its stinger, then grabbed its stinger as it tried again, then she turned and kicked another behind her.
Gwen dodged one's kick, then ducked as it tried to whack her with its stinger, before she grabbed its stinger, and then flipped it onto its back.
Leo spun around to kick Icy Angel, but missed as she ducked, and then she whacked Kai in the belly with her arrow.
"AH!" Kai moaned, moving back.
Maya rolled towards some Stingwingers nearby, then got up and kicked ones stinger away from her, as Leo sent a kick at Icy Angel, who blocked it with her bow.
Kendrix rolled over a Stingwinger's back, then she spun around and tackled another, before whacking it in the chest.
Damon somersaulted forward, then did a sideways handspring to his right, then some backwards ones past some Stingwingers, and then he back flipped and kicked one with both feet.
Maya side kicked one as it came at her, then Kai punched another in the chest, then blocked another's stinger with his forearm, before whacking it in the back.
Gwen rolled forward as two tried to hit her with their stingers, then she put her hands on the ground and lifted her legs up, split kicking them both.
Leo blocked a kick from Icy Angel with his hands, as Maya backwards handspringed away from a Stingwinger. Icy Angel then got behind Leo and held her Bow against is throat, straggling him.
"LEO!" Kai yelled, running towards him.
Icy Angel kicked Leo away, before she turned around to Kai, and then tried to whack him with her Bow, but missed slightly. She then kicked him and knocked him back, before she jumped up and fly kicked him, knocking him down and away.
"Kai!" Damon gasped, as he, Gwen and Maya gathered around him.
"Kai, you okay?" Gwen asked, bending down near him.
"Yeah, I'm fine Gwen!" Kai replied, as Gwen and Damon helped him up.
Icy Angel laughed and fired snow out of her mouth, hitting the four Rangers.
"AH!" Maya moaned.
Sparks came up from the ground all around them, knocking them down.
Leo and Kendrix both got up and sent a kick at Icy Angel, but she vanished before they could.
"Ah! She got away." Leo moaned. "Come on. Let's check on the others."
"Right." Kendrix agreed.
They both ran towards the other Rangers, as they pulled themselves up.
"Hey, you guys okay?" Leo asked.
"Yeah." Kai replied.
"Daddy, wake up!" Jodie cried, shaking her father.
Her father started to wake up, moaning slightly as he did.
"Daddy?" Jodie said, before her father sat up.
"Oh, no! Commander Stanton!" Kai gasped, turning to him.
The Rangers all ran towards the Stantons.
"Daddy." Jodie sighed happily, hugging her father from behind.
The Rangers then stopped near the Stantons.
"Commander Stanton, are you alright?" Kai asked.
Commander Stanton turned to the Rangers. "Yes. I'm fine." he said.
"Great." Leo said. "Okay, guys, let's go."
"Yeah." Kendrix said, before they ran off.
"I'm so glad you're okay, daddy." Jodie said, wrapping her arms around her father.
The Commander grabbed Jodie's arm and pushed her away.
Commander Stanton got up and walked away as Jodie sat up.
"Daddy!" she called.
Her father ignored her and stepped onto the drawing she did of him, covering it in mud as he walked along. Jodie gasped as she got up and walked towards the drawing, before she picked it up and cried.
Later, Commander Stanton entered Command Headquarters, and then walked towards Kai, who was working at a panel.
"Mr. Chen." he said.
Yes, sir." Kai said, turning to him.
"Shut down engines 3 and...4." the Commander instructed, walking past Kai.
"Shut them down, sir?" Kai inquired. "Completely?"
"Was I unclear?" the Commander asked coldly.
"No, sir." Kai said, getting up. "But if we shut down the engines, we might drift towards that Star."
Commander Stanton turned and saw Kai pointing at a screen, showing the Star, before he turned to Kai. "Are you questioning my decision?" he asked.
"No, sir." Kai replied, standing at attention. "I just think-"
"Don't think, Mr. Chen. Just follow like a good soldier." the Commander said.
Kai looked bewildered, noticing a small change of tone in the Commander's voice.
"We're shutting down engines to conserve power in the event we need to pull away from the Star." the Commander reasoned.
Kai thought for a minute, but saw the Commander had a point. "Yes, sir. I understand." he said, before he sat down. "Shutting down engines 3 and 4."
He pressed buttons on his panel, which then shut down the two engines, as everyone noticed a loss of power in the room. Kai turned to the Commander, thinking something was off with him, just as Peter came in.
"Sir, the sickbay report." he said, approaching the Commander.
"Oh, yes. Uh, leave it in my office." Commander Stanton said. "I'll look at it later."
"But, sir, you-" Peter began.
"Just do it, Mr. Turner." the Commander ordered. "I've got a bit on my mind right now."
"Yes, sir." Peter understood, before he turned and walked away. "Must've bumped his head or something."
Later that day, Kai was cooking in the boys room, but the Commander's instructions were still on his mind, making hard for him to concentrate, just as Leo, Gwen and Damon came towards him.
"Yo, Kai." Damon said.
Kai turned to them, but then Damon pointed at the food, making him turn to it.
"Oh, shoot!" Kai gasped, as the food sizzled and burned. "Completely burned."
He picked up the pan with oven gloves, and then he carried it towards the sink.
"Something bothering you?" Leo asked, holding a football, as Kai turned on the taps.
"Yeah. You looked distracted." Gwen noted.
Kai turned to them. "Yeah." he said. "There is."
"Well, let it bother you after we've eaten." Damon suggested. "I'm starving."
"Today the Commander made me shut down two engines." Kai explained.
"So?" Leo inquired.
Kai turned to them.
"So..." he said, as he began to walk towards them. "..according to my calculations, we're going to drift right towards that Star."
He pointed at the computer, showing the Star on the screen, as the others all turned to it.
"You can't stand being wrong, can you?" Damon said, walking towards the beds.
"I'm not wrong!" Kai insisted. "At least not in theory."
"Theory?" Leo inquired, touching Kai's shoulder, getting his attention. "Look, the Commander's gotten us this far. I think he knows what he's doing."
"I hope you're right." Kai admitted.
"I'm sure the Commander's taking everything into account." Gwen assured.
Kai turned to the Star, his gut telling him something was wrong.
The next day, Kai was working in Command Headquarters, when Commander Stanton entered the room behind him.
"Mr. Chen, we're changing course." the Commander said, walking past Kai.
"Yes, sir." Kai understood.
"New heading: 1-0-3.9." the Commander ordered.
"1-0-3..." Kai said, typing up the heading, but then stopped.
"1-0-3.9." the Commander instructed.
Kai just stared at his controls, getting the Commander to turn to him.
"Is there a problem, Mr. Chen?" the Commander asked.
Kai looked at his controls, hoping he was mistaken and had misheard. "Sir, that heading will move us towards the Star." he explained. "We'll be-"
"We'll be in a low orbit." the Commander began, walking past Kai. "The gravity will allow us to gain incredible speed. We'll reach the new world far ahead of schedule."
"No, sir!" Kai argued, getting up. "You're wrong! If we get any closer, we'll get pulled in and burn up!"
Everyone in the room turned to him, all muttering to themselves, as the Commander turned to Kai.
"So, are you refusing a direct order?" the Commander inquired.
Kai thought for a moment, not sure what to do, but then realized what was at stake. "I won't change course, sir!" he snapped.
Peter entered the room, just as the Commander approached Kai, having heard the commotion outside.
"You're suspended from duty." Commander Stanton said.
Kai's eyes widened, as the Commander ripped off his GSA badge, making him touch the spot it was.
"I want you out of the Command Tower now!" the Commander said. "Guards!"
Peter gasped as two guards came towards Kai and grabbed him by the arms.
"Sir! You don't know what you're doing, sir!" Kai pleaded, as the guards dragged him away.
The Commander threw Kai's badge down, as everyone but Peter muttered in shock.
"If Kai's refusing an order, something's defiantly wrong." Peter thought.
"What are you looking at?" the Commander asked, as everyone began to walk around. "Get back to your stations."
Everyone moved back to their posts, except Peter who stared at the Commander.
"You!" the Commander said, touching a young officer near him.
The officer turned to the Commander, before the Commander pushed him into Kai's chair.
"Change course: 1-0-3.9." the Commander instructed.
"Yes, sir. Changing course: 1-0-3.9." the officer said, pressing buttons on the controls.
The Commander stared out into space, staring at the Star, as Terra Venture began to move closer to it.
"What is wrong with the Commander?" Peter wondered, before he went back to the sickbay.
Down below the two guards shoved Kai towards the door leading to the elevators.
"NO! No! No, wait!" Kai pleaded, as they threw him out of the door.
He turned to the guards, as they walked back into the tower, closing the door behind them, before he looked at the spot his GSA badge went.
He then began walking through the City, wondering just what happened to the Commander. He punched his fist, before he remembered the Commander's words from before Icy Angel's attack.
"Procedures are fine, but you've gotta think for yourself. Trust your instincts."
He then stopped as a bunch of people walked past him from behind.
(His memories)
"Trust your instincts." the Commander said.
(Reality)
Kai looked up slightly, his gut telling him something was wrong with the Commander. He then turned around, and saw the Commander leaving the tower, and then he hid behind a car. He then saw Commander Stanton walking away, and then followed him as he walked past a flowerbed, hiding from bush to tree, before he saw Icy Angel talking to the Commander.
"Just keep doing as I say, and soon this colony will be history." Icy Angel said.
"Commander." Kai gasped.
He ran out from the tree, and stared at the Commander and Icy Angel.
"HEY!" he yelled, getting their attention. "You won't get away with it!"
"And who's going to stop me - you?" Icy Angel sneered.
The Commander folded his arms, as Kai clutched his fist.
"I didn't think so!" Icy Angel sneered, pulling an arrow out.
She aimed it at Kai, and then fired it, followed by another, but missed as Kai backwards handspringed away, before bending down.
"Get back to your command." Icy Angel instructed, turning to the Commander.
Commander Stanton nodded, and then walked off.
"I'll take care of him." Icy Angel snarled.
"Commander, don't!" Kai pleaded, as he ran forward.
Icy Angel however then fly kicked him in the belly, making him turn to her as she dived past him. He then ducked as she spun around to whack him with her Bow, and then he blocked a kick from her with his forearm. He then jumped up and spun around to kick her, but missed as she ducked, and then they spun around to each other.
Kai then sent a kick at her, but she blocked it with her hands, then blocked a punch with her Bow, before whacking him in the chest with it. She then blocked another punch with her Bow, then ducked as Kai tried to punch her again, and then she whacked him in the back with her Bow, flipping him onto his back.
"Uh!" Kai moaned, as he rolled towards the flowerbed.
Icy Angel then charged at him, and then tried to hit her with her Bow, when Leo - already morphed - showed up and blocked it with his saber.
"Kai, are you okay?" Leo asked.
He lifted his saber up and knocked Icy Angel back, making her stumble around.
The girls then showed up and gathered around Leo and Kai, followed by Damon and Mike, all morphed.
"Kai, let us help you?" Kendrix asked, as she and Gwen helped him up.
"Kai, you okay?" Gwen asked.
"Yeah. Am I glad to see you guys. I've gotta stop the Commander." Kai said, before he ran off.
"Huh? The Commander?" Leo muttered confused.
"Kai, what are you doing?" Gwen called.
Kai ignored her and kept running, knowing what to do, as Icy Angel turned to him.
"I don't think so." she hissed, aiming an arrow at him.
The other Rangers all charged at him, and then Mike hit her Bow down with his sword, making her drop the arrow. She then ducked as Leo tried to slice her with his saber, then Damon kicked her in the side, as Gwen jumped over her and kicked her in the back.
Elsewhere, Commander Stanton kept walking through the city towards a warehouse, when Kai rolled over a crate and got in front of him.
"Get outta my way!" the Commander ordered.
"I won't let you destroy this ship, sir!" Kai argued.
"I'm not asking for your permission." the Commander argued, as he matched forward.
"Sir." Kai said, as he ran towards the Commander and touched his shoulder. "You're under Trakeena's control."
Commander Stanton grabbed Kai's arm and twisted it, before punching him in the chest, knocking him back.
"Sir, wait!" Kai shouted, as he ran back towards him.
The Commander grabbed Kai's shoulders when he was close, then turned around and threw him onto a crate.
"OH!" Kai moaned, landing on his back.
He rolled to his left as the Commander tried to whack him, and then he kicked the Commander's arm away as he tried to punch him. Commander Stanton then spun around to kick Kai, but missed as he flipped himself up, and then he side flipped off the crate as the Commander tried to punch him, and then he glared at Kai.
In Command Headquarters, everyone inside - including Peter - were all staring at the screens, showing the Red Star getting closer and closer.
"Did you enter that heading in right?" Peter asked, walking towards the young officer.
"Yeah. I did." he replied. "I don't get it."
Peter turned and looked back at the screens, his gut telling him something was wrong.
In the city, the Commander picked up a pipe, and then tried to whack Kai with it, but missed as he ducked and then rolled away. Kai then got up and dodged as the Commander tried to hit his feet with the pipe, then he spun around and ducked as the Commander tried again. He then kicked a barrel over as Kai backed away, then tried to whack Kai again, but missed as he ducked, and then Kai grabbed his arm as he tried again.
"Wake up, sir!" Kai pleaded.
(The park)
Mike charged at Icy Angel, who then fired a bunch of arrows at him, making him stop to deflect them with his sword. He managed to deflect most, but then one hit him in the chest, knocking him down.
"AH! Ugh!" Mike moaned, hitting the ground.
Icy Angel aimed to fire again, when Leo, Damon and the girls all got in front of Mike. Leo then deflected two arrows with his saber, as Gwen helped Mike up.
(The warehouse)
The Commander knocked Kai against crate, then he tried to whack Kai with the pipe, but missed as Kai ducked downed, and then he kicked the pipe away, before kicking the Commander in the back. Commander Stanton clutched his arm, just as Kai got up, then charged at him and wrapped his arms around him, but then he lifted Kai's arms up and elbowed him twice in the chest. He then turned around to Kai, grabbed his shirt, and then threw him away, making him twirl around before hitting a barrel.
"OH!" Kai moaned, as he rolled off it.
He then rolled towards a door, then leaned against it, while clutching his chest and turning to the Commander. The Commander kicked the barrel away as he approached Kai, who leaned back and pulled the door handle down, seeing it was unlocked. Seeing that and finding out it was a closet, an idea came into his head.
The Commander growled as he charged at Kai, who kicked the door open and rolled forward, making him miss Kai as he tried to punch him. He turned around to Kai as he got up, and then he spun around and kicked the Commander in the chest, knocking him down into the closet, as Kai fell onto his side.
"Ah!" the Commander moaned.
Kai quickly got up and ran towards the door, and then closed it just as Commander Stanton got up. Kai then entered the locking code, as the Commander began pounding on the door.
"Open this door right now!" the Commander ordered. "You hear me? Open the door?!"
Kai panted and leaned against the door. "I'm sorry, sir." he said, knowing he couldn't do that right now.
"..or you'll be sorry!" the Commander yelled. "Let me outta here?!"
Kai got up and ran off to help the others.
In the park, Icy Angel got up and turned to the other Rangers, and then shot snow out of her mouth, hitting them all.
"UH!" they moaned.
Sparks came up from the ground, which hit and knocked them all down.
"UH!" they moaned.
"Nice try, but you Rangers can't stop me." Icy Angel said coldly.
"But I can!" a voice yelled.
Icy Angel turned left, and saw Kai - now morphed - jumping up and diving towards her, before slashing her down the chest, knocking her down. Kai landed on his knees, and then got up as the others gathered around him.
"That's enough! Your icy rein is over!" Kai bellowed.
"Oh, yeah?" Icy Angel inquired.
"Yeah! We'll never let you destroy Terra Venture!" Kai shouted.
"We'll see about that!" Icy Angel snarled.
Mike jumped up, dived towards her, and then did his Energy Chop attack, slicing Icy Angel downwards.
"Let's do it, guys!" Leo said, as they crossed their fists over. (Gwen was between Damon and Maya)
"Lights of Orion, activate!"
Their Lights of Orion armour then appeared on them all, then they held their sabers near their amulets.
"Hyah!" they shouted, holding their sabers out.
They all began charging at Icy Angel.
"Power up mode!" Leo shouted.
They kept charging at Icy Angel, before turning into a fireball. The fireball then went right through her chest, making her moan, before it turned back into the Rangers, all but Damon landing bent down, as they all turned around. Sparks came out of Icy Angel as she kept moaning, then she dropped her staff, which broke and fell onto her knees.
"Ah!" she moaned.
She then fell onto her right and then onto her chest, before she seemingly blew up, but then the explosion vanished, showing she'd survived.
"I won't be defeated that easily!" she growled, clutching her fist.
She pulled herself up, then brought out a Spanish leather canteen, then opened it up and drank it, making her grow giant.
"Galactabeasts, arise!" Kai shouted.
"Torozord, charge!" Mike yelled.
The Galactabeasts and the Torozord all arrived in the area, then the Rangers jumped onto their Galactabeasts.
"Zord, transform now!" Kai shouted, holding fists over each other, before holding his Transdagger up.
The Rangers all fell Galactabeasts as they changed into the Galactazords.
"Galaxy Megazord, online!" Kai shouted, his hand over his Transdagger.
The Galactazords quickly combined into the Galaxy Megazord, bringing out its saber.
The Torozord fired a beam out of its eyes at Mike, making him bigger and putting him in his Defender Torozord mode. The Torozord quickly lifted itself up, opened up its chest, as Mike jumped into it. Its chest then closed, then a head came up from the horns, forming the Defender Torozord, which twirled its lance around, as lighting struck behind it.
Icy Angel then turned to both the Megazords, and then she fire snow out of her mouth as they came at her. The snow hit both Megazords, making them move around each other, and then parts of the Galaxy Megazord - its head and feet - froze up. Icy Angel then fired more snow out of her mouth at the Defender Torozord, but it spun its lance around, deflecting them right back at her, hitting her.
It then charged at her, and then stabbed her in the belly with its lance, shattering her into icicles. The icicles then however, rebuilt themselves into Icy Angel, shocking all the Rangers.
"Oh, no! We're frozen solid!" Leo exclaimed.
"We have got to get more energy to melt the ice!" Kai realized.
"Yeah, but how?" Gwen asked.
"Of course. Galaxy Megazord, power up mode, now!" Leo shouted, holding his arms down, before holding his amulet near his Transdagger.
The Galaxy Megazord changed into the Orion Galaxy Megazord, melting the ice around it.
Icy Angel then charged at both Megazords.
The Defender Torozord then jumped up, then spun around as it dived towards her, and then it slashed her across the chest before landing behind her.
"UGH!" she moaned.
"Galaxy Megazord saber!" Kai shouted.
The Galaxy Megazord held its saber up slightly, before slashing Icy Angel with it diagonally twice in an X shape.
"AH!" she moaned.
She turned around, before she fell onto her chest and blew up, for good this time.
Once the battle was over, Kai quickly explained to the others what happened to the Commander, before he led Mike and Gwen to where he'd locked the Commander up. They all ran round a corner, then over crates and barrels towards the closet door, and once there, Kai entered the code to unlock it. He opened the door, and they all saw Commander Stanton lying down.
"What's going on?" he asked, confused.
The three Rangers smiled, seeing the Commander back to normal.
"Sir, you're back." Kai said.
He helped the Commander up and out of the closet, before Gwen closed it.
"Have I been somewhere?" Commander Stanton questioned.
He turned to the Rangers.
"I'll explain later, sir." Kai promised. "Right now we've gotta get you back to Command."
"It's important, sir." Gwen assured.
In Command Headquarters, as Terra Venture got closer and closer to the star, the people inside - including Peter - began to panic. The door then opened up, and then the Commander, Kai, Gwen and Mike all came in.
"Sir, we've got problems." Peter explained, as the Commander pushed his way to the front.
"The Red giant Star." Commander Stanton gasped.
Peter looked annoyed, but then Gwen dragged him away.
"Changing course to 3-8-8! All four engines!" the Commander ordered. "Maximum thrust!"
The young officer got up, and then Kai took his seat.
"Maximum thrust." he said, powering up the engines.
Mike took the seat beside Kai and began to help.
"Divert every bit of energy we've got to reverse thrusters!" the Commander ordered.
"Burning energy, sir." Mike reported.
Gwen then pushed Peter towards the door.
"Why's he doing this now?" Peter asked. "He ordered a course nearer the Star earlier."
"One of Trakeena's monsters put him under a spell." Gwen explained quietly. "Turned him cold slightly."
"So that's why he even ignored Jodie." Peter gasped. "And why he was cold to me yesterday."
"Yep. I didn't believe it myself until Kai saw the monster with him." Gwen admitted. "Fortunately the spell was broken when the Rangers destroyed the monster."
Terra Venture began to move away from the Star, and then the Commander sighed in relief. Everyone else relaxed as they saw the Star got further and further away on the screens.
"Temperature's dropping." Kai reported. "Below critical."
"Phew." a woman sighed.
"Resume cursing speed." the Commander ordered.
"Yes, sir." Kai said, as he pressed buttons on the panel.
The next day, Kai, Leo, Gwen and Maya were all in the park playing football with Jodie. Gwen tossed the ball to Leo, who then caught it and tossed it to Jodie.
"There you go, Jodie." Leo said, as she caught it.
"Over here!" Kai called.
Jodie tossed the ball to Kai, who caught it.
"Go kick it to me!" Maya called.
Kai bent down and put the ball on his foot, as Jodie ran towards him.
"Come on, Jodie. Let's see what you got." Kai said.
Jodie then kicked the ball away, but it landed at Maya's feet. Jodie then ran towards it, but then stopped, and saw her father driving a car towards them.
"Daddy." she said happily.
She ran towards it as the four Rangers turned to the Commander, seeing he was out of uniform. He stopped the car, then unfastened his seatbelt and then got out.
"Daddy." Jodie said.
"Hey, sugarplum." Commander Stanton said, lifting her up. "Oh."
He kissed her cheek and put her down, as the four Rangers smiled at them.
"Do you think, that maybe you could make me another drawing?" the Commander asked, handing Jodie some paper and coloring pens.
"Okay. Thank you, Daddy." Jodie said.
"You're welcome." her father said.
The Rangers smiled, happy to see the Commander back to normal.
"Mr. Chen..." the Commander said, picking up a box from inside the car. "..I have something for you too."
He handed the box to Kai, who then took it. He then opened the box, and saw it had a new GSA uniform inside for him.
"Thank you, sir." Kai said.
"Seeing as how you did such an exemplary job, I thought maybe I'd take the day off. Spend some time with Jodie." the Commander said. "Mr. Chen, you're in charge of the colony."
He turned around and walked towards the car, as Gwen, Leo and Maya all turned to each other.
Kai looked bewildered. "The... The entire colony?" he asked, thinking he'd misheard.
"Yes." the Commander confirmed, helping Jodie into the car. "The entire colony. Are you questioning my decision?"
Kai smiled. "No, sir." he said.
Maya, Leo and Gwen all smiled, happy for Kai.
Later, once Kai had put his new uniform on, he entered Command Headquarters, and saw Peter and a number of other GSA soldiers waiting for him. He looked around at them all, before the young officer started to clap, and then Peter and everyone else joined in.
"Congratulations, Kai." Peter said.
"Thanks." Kai smiled.
Everyone then stopped clapping.
"Alright, let's run a complete systems check on the engines." Kai instructed.
"Yes, sir." the officer understood.
Everyone walked back to their stations.
"Peter, get me the sickbay report." Kai ordered.
"Right away, sir." Peter said, before he walked off.
"Projected course and speed report?" Kai asked, walking past the center panel.
"Got it, sir." a man said.
"Environmental generators, fuel levels, main thrusters." Kai said.
"Yes, sir." a woman said.
"Full speed ahead." Kai ordered.
Everyone began to follow his orders.
Kendrix: Next time on Power Rangers Lost Galaxy.
Motor Mantis races a bike towards the girls.
"What? Only three Rangers?" he questions.
He fires lasers from his bike as the girls jump up, hitting them all.
"Hardly a challenge!" he scoffs.
The girls moan as they fall to the ground.
Motor Mantis laughs as he fires a laser at them, turning them into golden trophies.
He holds up the trophies while staring at the boys on their Astro Cycles.
"Do I have a challenge for you?" he laughed.
"Kendrix!" Damon cries. "Maya! Gwen!"
Motor Mantis and Leo race their bikes along a highway road as a green light flashes.
"If you win..."
A laser hits Kai, knocking him off his bike.
"..you get the trophies." Motor Mantis sneers.
He fires a laser at a cliff, creating a landslide.
"One down, two to go." he said.
Damon crashes his bike into the landslide.
"AHH!" he moans, falling off it and over the rocks.
Lasers nearly hit Leo as he races his bike.
"AH!" he yelped, wobbling.
Motor Mantis laughs as he jumps his bike over Leo.
Motor Mantis sits behind Leo, who tries to control his bike.
They both race their bikes down the highway, then Motor Mantis kicks Leo's in the side, knocking him into some boxes.
"No one can beat the Motor Mantis!" Motor Mantis whoops, crossing the finish line.
A Stingwinger waves a checkered flag, as two more cheer with their arms, as Motor Mantis skids his bike to a halt.
