The team came except Daya in evening to Acp pradyuman ' s house. All of them meet with Abhijeet. Everyone became happy meeting with him. After sometime they went to their respective places. It had been 5 -6 days when Abhijeet came to Mumbai. In those days neither Daya came to visit him nor contacted him.
It was 7 th day when Daya came to visit Acp pradyuman ' s house. He found Abhijeet writing something. He was standing there and watching him doing his work. Abhijeet saw him standing outside his room. Daya also watched him. Both the eyes met. A lot of things could be said through their eyes. They maintained their eye contact till a minute. Then Abhijeet continued his writing work.
Daya also went to search Acp pradyuman. After searching the whole house he again went towards Abhijeet ' s room. He find Abhijeet engrossed in his work.
He intensionally made sound. Abhijeet looked upwards , he saw Daya standing at the door step.
Daya : Wo mai sir se milne aaya tha.
Abhijeet turned his face and said " Sir ko kuch kaam tha isliye wo bahar gaye hai. "
He looked towards the clock and said "Abhi aate hi honge wo. " He again resumed his work.
Daya : Abhijeet mere kehne ka ye matlab tha.
Abhijeet : ( coldly ) Thik hai. Tum hall me baitho. Mai Ramu ke haathon tumhare liye coffee bhijwata hu.
Daya wanted to speak further but Abhijeet went from the room.
Daya ,having no option left went straight to hall and was waiting for Acp sir to arrive. After 5 minutes , Ramu arrived having a cup of coffee with him. He took that coffee cup and started sipping it. After the first sip , he found the taste familiar. Oh ! How much he missed that coffee !
Daya : ( thinking ) Bas dikha rahe ho ki naraz ho. Hona bhi chahiye tumhe. Mai tumhe batana chahta hu ki jo kuch bhi maine kiya wo janbujh ke nahi kiya. Lekin tumne to meri baat suni hi nahi. Bas ek mauka do mujhe. Aapne aap ko sabit karne ka. Mai sab kuch thik kar dunga.
Waise chahe jo ho meri fikar karna nahi choda tumne aur isi wajah se tum mere liye coffee banakar laaye.
A small smile came on his face.
He was done with the coffee and kept the empty coffee cup there. At the same time Acp pradyuman arrived there. He saw Daya there.
Acp pradyuman : Daya tum yaha ?
Daya : Ha sir wo ek jaruri information deni thi aapko.
He told the information to him.
Daya : Sir mai ab nikalta hu.
Acp pradyuman : Are aise kaise ? Ruko kuch chai wagare lekar jao.
Daya : Nahi sir. Aapke aane se pahle maine coffee li thi.
Acp pradyuman : Accha. Daya mai keh raha tha ki.
Daya stopped in mid and said " Sir humari mulakat ho gayi hai. "
Acp pradyuman : To phir kya kaha usne ?
Daya : Yahi to hai sir wo kuch kehta hi nahi hai. Bas bata diya ki aap ghar par nahi hai.
Meri baatein abhi bhi chubh rahi hai. Nazrein tak milayi usne mujhse.
Acp pradyuman : Dekho Daya jitna waqt lagega utni hi tum dono ko takleef hogi. Maine tumhe us din bhi kaha tha team ke saath ghar aao lekin tum us din bhi nahi aaye.
Daya : Sir mujhe itni himmat hi nahi thi ki uska samna kar saku.
Acp pradyuman : Abhi se hi har maan gaye tum. Abhi to bohot saare padav par karne hai tumhe.
Daya : Jee sir. Maine apni puri koshish karunga. Chot maine di hai marham bhi mai hi lagaunga. Sir mai ab nikalta hu.
Daya left Acp pradyuman ' s house. Whereas inside the house , Acp pradyuman went near Abhijeet ' s room. Abhijeet noticed his presence.
Abhijeet : Sir andar ayiye na.
He kept the diary and pen inside.
Acp pradyuman : Maine disturb to nahi kar diya ?
Abhijeet : Bas ho hi gaya tha. Aap batayiye na ?
Acp pradyuman : Bas aise hi. Daya aaya tha abhi ghar par.
Abhijeet : Hmm.
Acp pradyuman : Dekho Abhijeet jaisa tum samjh rahe ho waisa kuch bhi nahi hai. Use bas ek mauka do. Sachhai batane ke liye.
Abhijeet : Hmm.
Acp pradyuman : Tum mere baat sun rahe ho na ?
Abhijeet : Jee sir. Sir ek request thi aapse.
Acp pradyuman : Ha bolo na.
Abhijeet : Please mujhe thodi der ke liye akela rehna hai.
Acp pradyuman : Thik hai mai nikalta hu.
He left the room. After Acp pradyuman was gone , Abhijeet just closed his eyes. All the painful scenes came in front of his eyes. It seemed like the scene was going actually inside his room. He opened his eyes with a jerk.
He just closed the door of room and opened the window. Through the window cool breezes were coming inside. He went near the window. The cool breezes were providing sooth to his heart. After standing there for a while , he was feeling better. He opened door of room , took chair near window and sat on it in relaxed manner.
After sometime Acp pradyuman made a knock on the room door.
Acp pradyuman : Abhijeet khaba lag gaya hai.
He found door open. He pushed the door and went inside. His gaze felt on Abhijeet who was sitting near the window from which the cool breezes were coming. He was closing the windows and while doing it said " Wo darwaza khula tha. Isliye mai andar aa gaya. "
Abhijeet remained silent. Acp pradyuman was done with the closing of windows.
Acp pradyuman : Abhi Abhi thik hue ho. Thandi hawa me baithoge to tabiyat kharab ho jayegi.
Abhijeet : jee sir. Sir ek request thi aapse.
Acp pradyuman : Ha bolo na.
Abhijeet : Mai kal se hi join karna chahta hu.
Acp pradyuman : Magar abhi - abhi to thik hue ho tum.
Abhijeet : Sir please.
Acp pradyuman : Accha thik hai. Mai tumhe dinner ke liye bulane aaya tha.
Abhijeet: Jee sir.
Both of them had their dinner and went to their respective rooms and slept. It was midnight when a voice could be heard as
" Nahi. Maine sab kuch jaan bujh ke nahi kiya hai. Mujhe ye sab karne ke liye majboor kiya gaya tha. Bas ek baar meri baat sun lo.
( a loud voice ) Nahi. Aisa nahi ho sakta.
Abhijeet opened his eyes in jerk.
Abhijeet : Uff ! Sapna tha. Pata nahi kitne dino se ek hi sapna dikh raha hai.
He woke up and drank some water. He felt better after drinking water. He opened the window, brought a chair and sat on it. After some time , he dozzed off.
On some other side,
Person : Wo kal se bureau jaane wala hai.
Another person : Hum bhi dekhte hai ki wo kaise bureau pohoch paata hai.
It was morning time, when Acp ppradyuman came inside his room and found him sleeping on chair itself. He shooked his head in disappointment.
Acp pradyuman : Abhijeet.
Abhijeet opened his eyes. He saw Acp pradyuman in front of him.
Abhijeet : ( murmuring ) Lagta hai ki abhi daant padni wali hai.
Acp pradyuman : Ye kya hai ? Itna bada bed hai yaha par sone ke liye. Lekin nahi chair par hi sona hai.
Abhijeet : ( innocently ) Maine jaan bujh kar nahi kiya. Mai bas chair par baitha hua tha. Pata nahi kab ankh lag gayi.
Acp pradyuman : Ha ha. Bade bHole ho tum. Ab dukh raha hoga pura sharir. Ek kaam karo tum kal se join karo.
Abhijeet : Nahi sir. Uski jarurat nahi hai. Mai aaj hi join karunga.
Acp pradyuman : Dekho aram se aana koi jaldi nahi hai.
Abhijeet : Jee sir.
Acp pradyuman went inside his room whereas Abhijeet also got ready.
Acp pradyuman became ready and went to bureau.After he left , Abhijeet also was going to bureau. He came out of the house , a needle prick on his neck and he became unconscious.
