"well where did you want to go first" Yang asked
"wait so you asked if I wanted to come with you to the city without any plan on what to do" Blake deadpanned.
"well I just wanted to get out of the dorm and wondered if you wanted to come, I didn't really have a plan" Yang chuckled
Blake simply smiled back and yang and started walking hoping the blonde would follow. Yang followed as soon as Blake was more than three feet away.
After a few minutes of window shopping until Yang came to an abrupt stop. "Blake, I know I'm normally hungry, but that lunch didn't help at all do you mind if we grab something to eat, I'm starving" Yang held onto her stomach.
"Yes, Please I feel like I haven't eaten anything" Blake groaned as her stomach begun to rumble
"I know a place that does food near here we can head there and grab a bite to eat" Yang grabbed Blakes hand and guided her towards the fast food joint. When they got to the fast food place, they went straight to the counter t order food. Luckily there was a few people in front of them that gave them time to look at the menu.
When they got to the counter Yang ordered a XL Bacon Double Cheeseburger with fries and a Fanta while Blake went for a simple normal sized Plain Burger and a diet coke. They sat down in the nearby booth and opened everything from the wrappers and dug in.
"Blake is it just me or does the food taste different"
"what like you can hardly taste anything and it got a sort of bland taste to"
"yeah"
The pair looked at each other and both agree something was different, they were different.
"Blake what happened at the church" Yang said in a serious tone
"I…I don't know but something definitely happened and for Ruby and Weiss to not find the Church is just…something doesn't make sense all weA voice did was stare at a altar for like 5 minutes" Blake tried very hard to make sense of al of it but to no avail. "let's forget it for the time being I feel like the more we try and think about it the crazier it all will become"
"Crazier than it already is? But I guess your right let's try to enjoy our time out" Yang wanted to carry on thinking about it but since Blake said not to, she decided not to.
After they finished the meal, they head on back out to the streets. While just eating only moments ago both didn't feel any different like they hadn't eaten at all. Yang and Blake both decided to ignore it and carry on with their night both wanted to not ruin the night.
They opted to go to a library as it was quiet and most likely to be open at the time as it was a weekday the decided to take a few shortcuts though cut point between building but, on their way, there.
"Hello fine lady's what are the likes of you two doing in a place like this" a shadowy figure appeared in front of them.
"can't you see their lost they might need our help" a voice from behind them remarked. As they turned around it revealed another person. They both step into a light and reveal two men who look like they hadn't had a bath in years.
"we're not lost we just cutting though" Yang stated as she moved closer to Blake in order to be ready for anything.
"Oh well while you're here why don't you hang with us for a while we make great company and wouldn't mind a couple of sexy babes like you staying with us" as the second much younger male said this he went to grab Blakes hair and she quickly moved so that he wouldn't touch it. "What's wrong we don't bite"
"look we would love to stay but we have some place to be" Yang started to get angry
"yeah you do have some place to be right here with us and we would be terrible men if we allowed you to leave without so much as a little fun right" the older person looked to his friend
"year it would be awful if we didn't" he started grinning at this
"look assholes we've tried being nice, but you can't take a fucking hint…leave us al…" Blake was interrupted
"Listen here you little bitch you're not going anywhere" both males pulled out knives and started to push the pair against the wall
"Fuck you" Yang spat at the older male she was now visibly angry and before he could move, she throw a punch right into his jaw hearing a nice crack and it contacted.
The Male when flying into the other wall while the younger one simply stared at his friend. The older one stumbled to his feet looking pissed off "you motherfucker you're dead" he ran at Yang knife in hand. Yang pushed Blake out of the way and dodge the attack and countered with a right hook to the stomach. It had enough for to put the man on his knees and puke blood.
"Stay the fuck down if you know wha…" Yang stopped when she saw the blood coming out of his mouth. Blood…. Blood…...BLOOD. Yang soon found herself losing control her fangs grew and her eye became crimson red black veins soon formed around her eyes and her nails grew longer. Yang wanted to hurt him, she wanted to kill him she wanted her….food.
Yang grabbed him by the throat and lifted him up off his feet. She looked at him dead in the eyes and said, "what's the matter I thought you wanted to have some fun" Yang's voice had changed it was now demonic and groggy she wasn't herself.
Meanwhile, Blake saw the blood and turned to the other male her eyes was now red as well her teeth had grown, and black veins had formed around her eyes. She grabbed the male and throw him against the neat by dumpster, walking over to him as he slowly crawled to safety.
"You bitch you broke my back" the boy screamed, and Blake simply grabbed his mouth.
"shut up and don't interrupt my meal" Blakes voices was almost like Yang's if it was for the fact, they had a hint of each other's normal voice in the speech. As if timed both bite into their pray blood poured from their neck, they couldn't scream for help having the life sucked out of them. The dark liquid flowed out of them and into the girl's mouths as the drunk every drop they could. Eating their flesh their body's lying there dead in their arms. Just when they stopped both girls let go and got up and stared at their handy work. Both girls ran from the scene finding an abandon building not far from the ally. The run to the top of the floor faster than either of them have ever gone before.
Still on the high of the kill they didn't know what they were ding but the high was about to come down. The sat in the building feeling them lose consciousness they sat there and looked at each other and went to move to each other having a different kind of hunger. Then both moved but then black.
Ten minutes later Yang awoke. "my head" Yang groaned "what happened" as she stayed there lying on the ground trying to remember what happened Blake was starting to wake as well. As Blake opened her eyes, she mover her head around trying to figure where she was as she brought her hand over her head, she noticed the blood on her clothes
"AHHHHHHH" Blake screamed at the top of her lungs to which it alerted Yang to the problem Yang jumped up and went straight to Blake and Yang noticed the Blood on herself as well. "What the fuck has happened"
"I don't fucking know but what I do know is this I'm fucking scared" Yang started to tear up
"Yang I think we need to get back to the dorm now and get these clothes in the wash or in the bin as quickly as possible" Yang agreed in agreement she was trying to keep everything together.
"right how do we plan on getting to the academy without being seen." Yang asked
"I have a idea but its a bit risky" Blake look into Yang's eyes to see if there was any doubt. Which there wasn't.
"I don't care at the moment Blake because right now I think anything can happen"
"ok good because we are gonna need to jump across the building to get the academy"
"Ok that's not too bad but yeah its a bit mental as we could break something while running"
"But we will have to get rid of our clothes at some point as they are covered in blood"
"we can deal with that when we get back right now I want to get back before we are found" Yang wanted to get back and get out of her clothes as soon as possible this night didn't go they was she planned at she really didn't want to stick around any longer.
they make their move to the roof and plan their route back to the academy making sure that it would be the easiest and safest route. Blake being the expert and maneuverability planned the route and what roofs they should jump. While planning the route Yang was to her own thoughts. What happened for us to become bloody, why is there so much, is it our blood or someone else's. Yang's mind went a million miles a hour and she couldn't make sense of any of it. Yang wanted to know answer but didn't know how to find them or ways to go about to find them, it all seemed very supernatural to her.
Blake had finished planning the route to take. "You ready Yang?" Blake looked at Yang seeing the fear in her eyes. she never thought she would see fear in Yang's eye as she was always the string one the one to always push on and make the most of things. It was one of the many reason Blake fell for her.
"Y..yeah I'm guess I'm following you" Yang replied getting out of her thought.
"Yes make sure to follow me as best you can and to keep up we don't need to be separated"
"lead the way" Yang then pointed to Blake indicated it was her lead.
Jumping from one rooftop to the other they made sure that they wasn't see, well at least hoping they wasn't seen by anyone. the reached the final rooftop and Blake stopped
"Blake why are we stopping" Yang looked at her crush with worry
"Yang whatever is happening we need to keep it to our selves for all we know this could be a dream and everything is normal but I don't know we don't know and I think its best to keep it to our selves until we have some answers"
"Blake can we talk about this tomorrow I think it's best we get back and sleep to see if this is a dream or not and discuss this when we can. please" Yang looked into Blakes eyes with hope she would understand were she was coming from.
"no its fine Yang I just thought I would say as" Blake smiled at Yang and they begun to move again.
after jumping one last time they made their way onto the final building before the academy before climbing down and running into the grounds. they made their way to where their dorm was and looked to see their window.
the window was always open thanks to Weiss as she couldn't sleep otherwise. when they reached under it and Yang went first to climb it as she was slower then Blake at climbing so Blake stood watch as Yang climbed up. instead of yelling down to get the other attention saying the could start moving Yang picked up a rock she would drop beside Blake to let her know she could start the climb. this was a good idea as they didn't want the chance to wake anyone up.
Yang had finished the Climb after a few minutes and dropped the rock and Blake heard it hit the ground she begun to climb to up she was up and in the dorm within a few seconds and when she entered she saw Yang to grab her Nightwear and walk over to her.
"I think its best we get changed together in the bathroom so no one has the chance to see us"
instead of saying Blake blushed at the idea of getting changed with Yang but she nodded and they headed to the bathroom.
when they entered they got changed in a hurry as not to give anyone a chance and when they was finished the put all of their bloody clothes into a pile and decided to hide them for the time being until they could get rid of them properly. Before they left Blake grabbed Yang.
"don't mention this to anyone" Blake deadpanned to Yang
"Trust me I wont this has been a crazy night"
they left the bathroom and retreated to their respective bed.
"umm goodnight Yang"
"well good isn't the word I would use but I get what you mean. Goodnight" Yang simply said.
Well this chapter was more the case of the reveal of what had happened in the church but Yang and Blake themselves don't know just yet they know things are different but not what itself has changed. leave a comment and review on how I could improve and see ya in the next chapter.
I changed the rooftop scene as it was very weird and just was not right to me so I changed it to fit a bit better.
