Lovino POV

I sat in the school's courtyard with my lunch thinking and mumbling to myself. I relished the feeling of the sun touching my skin yet again. What if idiot sunshine was actually my air conditioning? As the bell rang yet again, I sighed and walked to my locker so I could grab my supplies and meet Feli in the art room for art club. Even though Feli shows off his art more than I do, it doesn't mean I don't enjoy it! I tend to sculpt more than Feli and use acrylic paints and not oil. Feli can use anything but I prefer sticking to my clay, pastels, and acrylic paints. I once sketched a picture of a leaf blindfolded, no one could tell not even me. I was almost to the art room when I saw him. It's not like I looked at him much though.

"Antonio!" I saw the baguette bastard saunter over to the Spanish bastardo, and felt slightly pissed. He already had a soulmate he didn't need to flirt with everyone. I wanted to give the bread bastard some real pain, not au chocolat! He sung Antonio's name like it was a beautiful song. I would never want to hear that stupid song.

"Caio bastardo." I sneered as I walked by. It worked with distracting the baguette bastard and I smirked as I felt the gaze of the Spaniard on my back. Go ahead bastard, you can look but this is for air conditioning. I may have liked him when I was younger but he never noticed me anyways so what's the difference? I walked quickly to the art room where Feli was waiting.

"Fratello! Are you okay? You weren't at the table again so I sat with Luddy." Feli looked so worried I almost felt guilty. I shook my head slightly and stole a glance at my wrist again. AC the letters that would haunt me. I slumped over and sighed while Feli rubbed circles on my back trying to figure out what was wrong.

"It's complicated, and I just want to paint." I sighed as I walked over to my canvas and paints and started finishing my landscape. A week ago after holiday break, I decided to paint a meadow in Italy by my Grandfather's house outside of Rome. I sighed as I remembered the warm breeze and the smell of fresh flowers. We had an old apartment here in the US but Grandpa and his friend are realtors in Rome and rent the mansion out to people for a lot of money. There are other places but the best seller is the mansion. The rolling meadows behind it were picture perfect. The "fence" was a border of old fruit trees.

"Lovi?" Feli tapped on my shoulder, wait that wasn't Feli.

"What the hell are you doing you Spanish bastardo?" I flung my paintbrush into the air. The guy actually caught it and handed it to me with his stupid smile. I may or may not like that smile very, very much. My cheeks felt hot and I grabbed the brush and went back to painting.

"L-lovi?" I turned to see a rather nervous Spaniard hovering behind me. "Can you come over to my house after school so we can start the project?" Why would he look nervous when he was asking me about a project? Was he bad at science? I put my paint brush down and smiled.

"Sure! Let's meet at the front of the school after dismissal." I smiled as I glanced at the clock. Cazzo! I had five minutes to clean my brushes and put paint away. I placed my canvas on a drying rack and Antonio took my brushes!

"Hey-" I looked back and he was washing the brushes smiling and talking to Feli. No! Not another elaborate joke! No! I looked at his stupid smile and it didn't seem the same. That's strange. I cleaned off my palette at another sink I overheard Antonio talking.

"Thanks again for telling me where he hangs out during this time!" I froze in my spot. FELICIANO VARGAS you-a have a lot of explaining to do! I turned the faucet off as the damned bell rang again!
