Athena's POV

"Can you not work a little faster?" Hades demanded when I entered his lair.

"Magic cannot be rushed" I replied as I began preparations to open a portal. Why Hades wanted to do that I had no idea and frankly it wasn't any of my business.

"Yes, yes, I know" Hades agreed. "But we don't have a dark curse or a magic bean, or silver slippers, we have something better Dark One tainted blood, it got you down here and it can reopen the portal"

"I have no desire to be the woman I once was when I was a Dark One" I informed the Lord of the Dead.

Hades was quiet and I focused again on the preparations for the portal. Eventually I finished and notified Hades. With one drop of my blood a swirling orange and red vortex appeared before us. The portal lasted for a few minutes before disappearing.

"Okay where's the baby?"

I shot Hades what Zila called a WTF look. What the hell did he need a baby for?

Zila's POV

Rumple and I were the Underworld pawnshop when we felt a portal being opened. I guess that was why Athena was summoned by that asshole Hades. The portal was now closed which was a relief.

"I don't even want to know why Hades made Athena open a portal" I growled.

"Who knows dearie"

I looked at my husband and saw he was deep in thought. I went over to him and placed a hand onto his shoulder.

"What is it mate of mine?"

"It's Athena" he began. "I can't leave her down here, I know she made that deal with Hades to protect our daughter but I just got her back"

I gave my mate a hug hoping it would help ease his mind.

"You'll find a loophole" I stated. "You always do"

"I hope your right love"

"Oh heck no" Dakota growled from the next room.

Rumple and I found our daughter looked annoyed about something.

"What is it my jewel?" Rumple wondered.

"I just had one of my visions, Hades has no plans on keeping his deal with Aunt Athena, he intends to kidnap me before we try to leave this place"

"Over my dead body" I hissed.

My beloved sat down next to our daughter.

"Did you see anything else?"

Dakota shook her head.

Rumple placed a hand on top of Dakota's and our teenage daughter looked at her father.

"Neither I or your mother will let Hades touch you my jewel, also he seems to have underestimated your powers, you have both light and dark magic which makes you powerful sweetheart"

Dakota flashed her father a smirk. Suddenly the sound of the shop bell got our attention and all three of us went to see who it was.

"Belle's?!"

Sure enough my sister was here in the flesh and she held a baby in her arms. I recognized the child as Zelena's. They were both alive.

"Zila? Oh thank god"

I rushed over to my sister and hugged her. Afterwards Belle explained how she came into the Underworld and Zelena fell through the portal with her. But being a mother herself Belle refused to hand over the little girl to her mother knowing Zelena was manipulative.

Suddenly the baby girl began to cry. Seeing if I could possibly calm the little one down I took the baby from Belle. The newborn cried for a few more minutes before eventually she stopped.

"We should try to find one of her parents" I suggested to my sister.

"Okay I'll feel safer with a Dark One around" Belle answered.

I flashed my sibling a smirk before telling Rumple and Dakota I would be back soon. For an hour we had no luck but eventually we managed to find Regina and Robin. Robin looked relieved when I gave him his daughter.

"She's fine" I promised. "Belle did one hell of a job keeping her safe"

"Oh come on sis your making me blush" Belle mumbled.

"Thank you both" Robin said before kissing his daughter's small forehead. Zelena was with them and Robin hesitantly gave the baby to her mother. Zelena fed her daughter before giving her back to Robin so she could be burped.

I noticed Zelena was hurt and I guess she injured herself on the way down here. Using my magic I healed the witch's foot.

"That's unlike you Zila" the red haired witch stated looking to me.

"I've had my foot broken and trust me it hurts like a bitch, and I changed my mind I'm not going to kill you"

"Female Dark One say what?" Zelena asked not believing her ears. "I thought you hated me since I killed Baelfire and threatened your daughter"

"Your a mother now" I responded nodding to the pink bundle in Robin's arms. "I maybe a Dark One but I won't take a child's mother away"

Zelena was silent for a few minutes before she spoke again.

"Thank you"

I simply nodded before Belle asked a good question.

"What does Hades want with your daughter?"

Zelena shot her child a tearful look before looking back to my sister.

"I'm afraid he wants her for a time traveling spell" the witch answered.

Both me and Belle swore while Robin growled and Regina looked worried.

"I maybe wrong but my magic isn't powerful enough to protect my daughter so she's better off with her father for now"

I hated to admit it but Zelena seemed to be trying to make a redemption of herself here. However I would remain cautious the witch hasn't exactly earned my trust just yet.

Later.

Belle was tired so I let her crash at the Underworld version of my house. Hopefully we all could get the hell out of here soon. Knowing my sister she would want to return to Storybrooke as soon as possible so she could be with Gabriel and Lisa.

I returned to the pawnshop where I found Rumple looking upset and Dakota was holding an object. Immediately I smelled a sleeping curse on the needle point of the object and my maternal instincts kicked in.

"Dakota what are you doing with that?" I questioned the teen nodding to the sleeping curse tool in her hand.

"I'm sorry but I have no choice" Dakota began. "I can't risk becoming a slave to Hades, I know my vision will become real and if I'm asleep he won't be able to have access to me or my magic"

"Are you sure this is what you wish to do my jewel?" Rumple asked our daughter.

Dakota nodded before continuing on.

"I'll be waiting for either one of you to wake me up after Hades is dealt with"

Rumple pressed a kiss against Dakota's forehead and I approached her next. I hugged her for a few minutes before eventually pulling away. Dakota sighed before she used the needle to prick her finger. Rumple caught her as she fell under the sleeping curse. I helped my husband lay our daughter onto the cot.

"Don't worry mate of mine we'll wake her" I promised.

"I know love which is why it's important we defeat Hades as soon as possible"
