And this is Chapter 7 of Assassins play SAO. I'm really surprised that this story has 22 followers and over a thousand views. I'm gonna try to make these chapters around 3 thousand words. Okay, into the story.

"Ritsu!?" Nagisa gasped. Sure enough, their A.I classmate was standing there. Her head and face were the same as real life, and her clothes were their PE uniforms they received from the government. They were a blue hooded vest and a matching pair of pants, with black under clothes to decrease exposure. Karma and Kayano were just as shocked as him. Kayano quickly recovered and ran over to Ritsu, who gave her a massive hug.

"Kayano!" Ritsu looked over at Nagisa and Karma and ran to them. She enveloped the two in a massive hug. "Nagisa! Karma!"

"We'll take these guys while you guys catch up." Artor said as he took Laughing Coffin away, followed by the rest of the Assault Team.

"Ritsu, how is this possible? How are you here!?" Nagisa said in amazement. Ritsu didn't answer, but instead hugged him again, pulling Karma and Kayano into the hug as well, before finally letting go.

"Sorry. It's just nice to be finally able to hug you guys for real." Ritsu apologized. Hotaru looked at them in confusion.

"What do you mean for real?" she asked with a head tilt.

"I'm a combat A.I. My name is Ritsu." Ritsu introduced herself.

"Oh, nice to meet youuuu, wha?" Hotaru stared at her in confusion.

"I'm an A.I! My real name is Autonomous Fixed Artillery, but my classmates saw fit to give me a simpler name. This is the first time I had an actual, human-like form." Ritsu explained. Hotaru whirled around and looked at Nagisa in confusion, only for him to shrug his shoulders in response. That was basically all there was to it.

"As for how I'm here, I hacked into Nagisa's NerveGear." Ritsu said. They looked at her in shock.

"You hacked into my NerveGear!?"

"Yes. It was simply a matter of entering your computer. Entering the NerveGear however is something a little more dangerous though. I had to be extremely careful, otherwise Nagisa's avatar would glitch. Since I had no idea what was going on inside the game, I had to be extremely careful. Since the glitch might result in Nagisa being killed." Ritsu explained.

"Wait, since you entered the game, is there any way you can take us out?" Karma asked. Nagisa looked at Ritsu hopefully, but his spirit fell as Ritsu shook her head.

"No, I'm afraid not. If everyone here was on one single computer or NerveGear then it would've only taken months, if not weeks, to hack the system and let everyone free. But since everyone has their own individual NerveGear and computer I can't. I also can't undo the penalty of dying since that's a function exclusive to the NerveGear and its own separate programming, not the programming that puts us in the game. I don't think I can even risk taking Nagisa by himself." Ritsu said sadly. Nagisa smiled and gave her a pat on the shoulder.

"We need to get out of here as soon as possible."

"But Nagisa, there's nothing I can-"

"But I also want to spend as much time as I can with you." Ritsu's eyes widened. "This is a world where you have a physical body isn't it? A chance like this isn't going to happen again any time soon."

"So we'll have to compromise." Karma said as he wrapped an arm around Ritsu's shoulders. "Beat the game, with you at our side."

"We're the Assassination Classroom!" Kayano chirped, giving her a hug from behind. "We can do it!"

"Y- you guys." Ritsu's eyes began to tear up in joy. She turned and gave them all another hug. "I want to spend time with you guys too!" she cried in joy. During her time in the Assassination Classroom, she had felt her first emotion, being happiness. Now, she was overwhelmed by it.

"But there's an issue we need to address." Karma said, frowning. "During the beta test, we were told that the game was protected by a bunch of firewalls. If the system recognizes Ritsu as an foreign object-"

"Except it won't." Ritsu said cheerfully. "When I entered the NerveGear, I was met with much resistance. The safest and quickest way to enter the game was by downloading myself onto the NerveGear as an item." Ritsu said. Nagisa started and looked into his item storage. Sure enough, there was a new item. Every item had a special icon next to it, indicating what it was. This icon was a wide toothy smile, with two dots as eyes. Nagisa immediately recognized it as Korosensei.

"So now, you basically belong to the system." Karma grinned. Ritsu nodded with a smile.

"Hacked, item, firewall, system, wha?" Hotaru stammered, head spinning from the sudden info dump. Nagisa looked at her and smiled apologetically. He reached out and patted her on the head. Looking at his classmates, he beckoned them to follow him out.

"Let's talk some more on our way back. We could have tea."

"Oh, that sounds lovely! A cup of tea with my friends!" Ritsu said with delight.

-Line Break-

"Okay, let's set some rules first." Nagisa said as they walked. The others in his group stopped and looked back at him.

"Rules?"

"Yeah. As far as other players are concerned, you're another player. We need to keep it that way. There's no telling what they might do if they find out that you're an A.I and that despite that you can't get us out of here." Nagisa explained. Ritsu frowned with guilt, but Nagisa was quick to stop that by reassuring that it wasn't her fault.

"Nagisa has a point. The other players are quick to toss around the blame to release their aggression." Karma hummed thoughtfully.

"Okay then, Rule 1. If Ritsu's avatar is killed, she should stay dead." Kayano suggested.

"What!?" Ritsu gasped.

"We need to make sure you aren't discovered. I'm sorry, but this is an important rule." Kayano apologized. Hotaru spoke up with her solution.

"If your body dies, can't you change into another avatar? Make yourself look and sound different?" Hotaru suggested. Ritsu didn't look that happy but nodded.

"Rule 2. You should keep things as they are as much as you can, to avoid suspicion." Karma continued. Ritsu nodded in understanding.

"That should be good for now, but try to avoid everything that could rouse suspicion." Nagisa instructed Ritsu. She nodded again.

"Don't let these rules discourage you Ritsu. We can still have a lot of fun with each other!" Kayano encouraged her friend.

"Yeah, you're right! We can still have fun!" Ritsu said happily. She hummed a happy tune as she walked. She began walking in between Nagisa and Kayano, before reaching out and grabbing their hands. Karma walked in front of them backwards, grinning.

"You guys look like a family. If only Ritsu was smaller. Then she could be the daughter." he teased. Kayano and Nagisa both blushed and gave him a look, but Ritsu hummed thoughtfully. She became encased in a bright light, causing the group to look away. They looked back when it dimmed down, and stared. Ritsu had become a chibi version of herself, wearing a gray blazer and skirt, with a shawl over her shoulders.

"How about this?" she asked cheerfully.

"It, uh, looks cute, but I think it would be better for you to keep your old form. You know, since people have already seen you." Nagisa told her. Ritsu pouted but turned back to her original form.

"Can I at least use that form in private?" she grumbled.

"Well," Nagisa looked at Kayano. She shrugged and nodded. Nagisa turned back to the pouted A.I and nodded in defeat. "Why not?"

"Yay!" Ritsu cheered as she turned into her chibi form and hugged Nagisa around the waist. "Thanks dad!" the group froze. Nagisa slowly looked down at the tiny A.I.

"D-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-" Nagisa's eyes rolled back into his head as he fainted. Hotaru and Kayano rushed to his side in concern while Karma rolled around, laughing his ass off.

"Ritsu!? Why did you call Nagisa your dad!? Don't you already have parents!?" Kayano questioned the A.I in confusion. Ritsu simply looked at her in confusion as she turned to her original form.

"Well, yes, but they're not very nice. Since I'm an A.I that was made specifically for assassination, I decide that my father figure should be someone who is a good assassin and someone nice and friendly. And since Karma said that we're like a family, that means Nagisa would be my dad." Ritsu said. Kayano sputtered as Karma continued to laugh harder.

"Uh, well, I, uh, don't think that Nagisa is, uh, ready to, uh, have a kid yet!" Kayano stammered.

"Oh come on! He's plenty ready!" Karma sniggered, standing up. "And who better than the class's best assassin?"

"Karma! You're not helping!" Kayano yelled at him.

"Not trying to!" Karma replied gleefully with a devilish smile.

"Wait, would that make me and Kayano the aunts and Karma the uncle?" Hotaru asked.

"Hotaru!" Kayano scolded.

"Kayano is my mom!"

"Wha!"

"You are romantically invested in Nagisa, aren't you?" Ritsu pointed out. Kayano sputtered, before fainting the same way Nagisa did. Karma laughed some more.

-Line Break-

"Sorry Nagisa. I didn't mean to make you faint like that." Ritsu apologized after Nagisa and Kayano woke up a couple minutes later. The two were sitting on the ground. Nagisa waved a hand dismissively.

"It's fine, it's fine. I blame Karma." Nagisa assured the A.I.

"What did I do?" Karma asked indignantly.

"You know what you did."

"Well, if it's too weird, can I at least call you my brother?" Ritsu asked sheepishly. Nagisa thought about it and nodded. Ritsu smiled with glee and hugged Nagisa tightly. Hotaru frowned with some slight jealousy. Ritsu noticed this and smiled.

"Hotaru right? Do you want to be my sister?" she asked cheerfully.

"Si, sister!?" Hotaru blushed, hiding her face behind her hands. Nagisa noticed this and intervened.

"Okay, that's enough for now. Let's get back to town. Ritsu, do you have any items or armor?" Ritsu shook her head.

"I only have my default equipment."

"Well, for now maybe you should change into clothes like our." Karma said, gesturing to his leather gear. Ritsu nodded and changed her appearance to match Karma's, but a bit more feminine.

"Now you look great!" Kayano chirped.

"Now, all you need is a weapon." Nagisa nodded. Ritsu smiled and materialized a massive war hammer almost the same length as Ritsu is tall, with a head that's almost the size of her torso. Her friends sweated and backed away.

"Will this do?" she asked cheerfully, holding the hammer as though it was a toy.

"Uh, yeah. That, uh, that's good." Nagisa sweatdropped.

"Well, since that's all set up, let's get back to town." Karma chuckled, leading the group back.

"Ritsu, what's been going on outside the game?" Nagisa asked.

"Actually, everyone was in mass panic. Mr Karasuma pulled a few strings to take you guys to a private, government focused location. Luckily, you three were the only ones who dived in, so everyone else was safe. But that doesn't mean that you three are the only ones who were transported. The government eventually managed to restore order, and all the players still alive were transferred to hospitals." Nagisa breathed a silent breath at this. With such a disaster taking hold of Japan at the moment, the last thing everyone needs is chaos.

"The government is paying the hospital bills, and there are plans for catchup schools meant exclusively for students who survive the game. Meanwhile, a special group is being made to try to find a way to get everyone out of the game. Until then, the thousands of people still alive will have to do this on their own." Ritsu explained. Hotaru frowned and rubbed her arms, a sudden chill running down them. Nagisa noticed and put a comforting hand on her shoulder.

"We're not alone. We have each other. We'll survive. I promise Hotaru." Nagisa reassured her. She smiled and leaned closer to Nagisa. Kayano smiled at the younger girl to reassure her as well. Karma simply gave her a smirk.

"Yeah, we will. We will survive this." Hotaru said cheerfully. They continued to walk back to the town in a comfortable silence. Ritsu typed a message secretly behind them, asking Mr Karasuma to find Hotaru and take her to the facility where Nagisa, Karma, and Kayano were housed. Reaching the town, the group was greeted by Artor.

"Hey. We took the Laughing Coffin members to a makeshift prison. Thanks for bringing attention to them. We already lost so many people. To think that there are some people that would be happy to kill other people." Artor shook his head in disgust.

"Those people view this world as another world. They probably don't properly realize that their actions have consequences in the real world." Nagisa frowned as they walked away.

"Disgusting. People don't realize that this game is still connected to the real world." Kayano shook her head. Karma thought to himself and grinned. Nagisa looked at him in suspicion.

"What are you planning?"

"What is it that we need most in this game?" Karma asked.

"A way out." Kayano answered.

"A respawn area." Nagisa guessed.

"A pet system!" Hotaru guessed.

"A government!" Ritsu said.

"A government, yes!" Karma pointed at Ritsu. "People think that they can do whatever they want because there aren't any rules that prevent them from doing so. We need to create a rock solid government that can keep control." the group nodded and hummed thoughtfully.

"Well, if we create a government, we need to make sure that everyone is represented. Everyone has rights, so everyone needs to be represented." Nagisa said thoughtfully.

"We also should make sure that the people are reasonable and ones who can control their emotions." Kayano added.

"It should also be someone who is fair, and nice." Hotaru said.

"But at the same time, it should be a group of people that don't all have the same views so a dictatorship won't happen." Ritsu pointed out.

"Well, we can discuss this later. Until then, let's go to the inn. We can get some good food." Nagisa cut in. The others nodded and walked after him, their A.I classmate excited to finally eat a meal with her friends.

And there we go with Chapter 7! Hopefully you guys like Ritsu and my explanation as to why she won't be this overpowered character despite being an A.I. So yes, she and Hotaru will be the little sisters of the group, and Karma is thinking about starting a government. Kirito and Asuna will be seen again soon.
