"Christian, I need you help" Carlos called to his friend and guard from inside the hall of flowers. He had scheduled a date with Mariposa the night before for the tonight. He knew it probably wasn't his smartest move because he had to set it up and plan.

Christian walked in the hall of flowers. His frustration from that prince pulling him away from his post showed. Lord Gastrious reprimanded him every-time he was away form his post. Even if it was the prince that asked him to do something.

However, when he entered the hall of flowers, his irritation completely vanished. He faced the most beautiful scene he ever had. Something right out a fairytale. The flowers shown blue and pink. It appeared that Carlos was putting a lot of effort in changing the room for something or someone special.

A table was set with a red cloth over it. Pink butterfly roses set in a vase in the center of the table. Two wine glasses we are filled and placed on each side of the table where the chairs were placed.

Christian looked at Carlos, "Ok I want to know but I almost don't. What a rather romantic scene, who did you set it for." Then he thought about making a joke. " hope it's not for me. I don't feel that way about you. also, the last time you did this you roped me into being part of one of your scenes for your story you finished but you refuse to share with the world. So, if this is another one of those situations, I said no."

Carlos rolled his eyes and just smirked. "No, I have a date tonight."

"Really how'd you do that? You two got over your shy spots and agreed to date." the guard paused after assuming. "It is Mariposa that you are planning this for, right?"

"Yes, it is Mariposa. How it happened was Mariposa was in the library last night. I asked her to not look at me as just the prince. Then we talked and I asked her to join me for dinner. How'd you guess it was her so quick?"

"Well, Willa called it first, but we all knew you'd end up dating. It was kinda obvious that you liked her and that she liked you."

"Well, ok. Will you help me?" Carlos was definitely trying to make this perfect every little detail.

"Yes. I'm here at your disposal, Carlos. I honestly don't know how I can help though." He couldn't see a problem with the scene that was already set.

"Well you can help me place these lanterns. Then we'll do the finishing decorations." Carlos' determination showed clearly on his face.

Mariposa left the library early to get ready for her date with Carlos. She wanted this for a while but didn't want to seem forward. She headed towards Willa's home.

"Willa, I need you help." Before she could get another word out.

"Well it better be important. You just barged in my house with out even knocking." Willa complained.

"It is I need help getting ready for a date." Mariposa paused. "I need help finding something that's appropriate to wear on a date with Carlos.

Willa stood there stunned.

"What? Did I say something wrong. I shouldn't even go on this date but I really like him. I just want things to go smoothly." Mariposa stood there nervously waiting for her friend to respond.

"No, you're doing the most amazing thing for you. I never thought you two would get over yourselves and date." Willa kind of chuckled

"What do you mean?" The confusion at her friend clearly written on her face.

"Well you two are shy bookworms who crave adventure." Willa said very nonchalantly. "Plus you love him and he loves you."

"I wouldn't say that yet." Mariposa commented weirded out by her friends observation.

"The way you both look at each other would say differently. In fact the people who know you both would say different." Willa was almost flip about it. She knew mariposa well as Mariposa did her. It worked out that way. "And of course I'll help you get ready."

They flew over to mariposa's home.

Mariposa has two favorite outfit choices. A pink and orange butterfly winged wrapped dress. The other which Willa has bought her a few years ago. It was a ping purple and blue dress. The colors softly faded into each other. The dress had mini butterflies all over it. Mariposa actually agreed with Willa that it was the best choice. Mariposa put it on and called the flutter pixies to beflutter her dress.

Willa and Mariposa smiled at each other. "Wish me luck." She said as she left toward the castle.

"Oh you don't need luck, he won't change his mind about you." Willa was so sure of the fact he felt Carlos had feelings for Mariposa, but Mariposa wasn't so sure.

Christian and Carlos had just finished the flower room and Carlos had less than an hour to get ready.

"Christian which one looks bette? Green or blue tie?" Carlos contemplated this.

"How about your aqua tie? It looks better with your dark blue dress shirt." Christian always notices every little detail even clothes

"Alright," he paused. "How do you know so much about what I wear?"

"Carlos, I am trained to notice every little detail. It's part of the job." Christian paused, "plus the last thing to need it's to make a bad first impression on you first date with her. You need to look and be boyfriend material. You have the scene down why ruin it with clashing clothes." Carlos just rolled hood eyes

"I guess you're right let's hope I don't." He was honestly afraid of messing this up.

"I was just kidding. You won't mess this up. I'm sure of that." He always supported Carlos.

Soon, Carlos saw Mariposa. They agreed to meet in the library. He was in awe over her beauty. He took her hand and led her to the hall of flowers. She saw the hall and recognized exactly what he tried to do and he managed in perfectly. It was the romantic scene in the book they were reading when the met. Andras had a date with the main female astra and Carlos recreated the scene in its entirety. Carlos definitely knew how to win Mariposa's heart.

"Do you like it?" Carlos was kind of scared she wouldn't.

"No I don't like it. I love it." She paused he was so relieved. "It's the exact scene from the book we were reading when we met." She hugged him. "Thank you"

"I thought you might like it. Well, I more or less hoped you would like it."

"You must really love me to do something this special for the first date." Mariposa was trying to see if Willa was right by seeing his reaction to the statement.

"The truth is yes Mariposa I do love you. That is why I did this. I wanted to show you I loved you." Carlos felt so weird admitting it to her now.

"Well good I'm not the only one here that feels that way." Mariposa paused, "Carlos I love you too."

They kissed each other passionately. And then sat down for dinner."

They both wanted this night for so long and they wanted it to last forever.

I finally finished my two part one shot on these two hope you like it.

And for the guest who keeps comment in and wanting ro and antonio one shots. i have a story im actually writing for them so there won't b anymore one shots for them just yet, but I will try to work your request in to the story as a snipet. trust me i love them too so yay.
