Chapter 6
While waiting on the Doctors at Mass. General to examine Arthur, Maura and Jane, Frost and Korsak took Constance, Booth, Brennan, Jane and Maura's statements. It was decided that Arthur would be staying for 2 days, due to the serious concussion he sustained. Jane's had was put into a cast, since it was badly bruised and had a hairline fracture, and after checking Maura out throughly, as well as the baby, they were discharged, and taken home by Booth and Brennan. Both were given instructions to take it easy, and that Maura was also to rest.
They returned home, Jane ran Maura a bubble bath to help her relax, Jane took a quick shower, after Maura wrapped her cast in a special waterproof wrap, while their guest showered and got ready for bed in the guest bathroom. Jane, Booth, and Brennan were watching the rest of the game, when Maura came back downstairs and snuggled into Jane's side. Jane wrapped her arms around Maura, pulling her closer to her and placed a soft kiss on her head. Taking in the scent of her wife, silently thanking God that both her wife and child were okay. It had been the day from HELL for both of them.
Across town at BPD, Jack Armstrong and Dr Ian Faulkner had both been arraigned and was now being transported to Walpole Federal Prison. Jack Armstrong, had several charges already against him, plus trying to being contraband into a jail, that was found in his butt during a body search, finding a syringe full of a sedative, and a bag full of pills. Dr. Ian Faulkner, had a mountain of charges, plus those added on tonight. Walking into BPD, FBI agent Gabriel Dean and two other agents handed over the paperwork for both Armstrong and Faulkner to be released to them. The officer informed them that "they were already released to 4 FBI agents for transport 30 minutes ago." Dean was throwing a fit like a 3 year old and yelling "how the Fuck did this happen? BPD is full of a bunch of stupid, fucking dumbass idiots." Running out of the station, pulling out his phone. Meanwhile, the van transporting the men, pull into an unknown location, the door opened revealing Paddy Doyle. Neither men know who he was, Paddy's men got both men out of the van, and sat them in a chair and tied them up. Finally speaking Paddy " Gentlemen, I know who you are, but you don't know who I am Paddy Doyle, Maura's biological father. And both of you had caused her great pain, Jack you have stalked her, and tried to kidnap her and her unborn child. Ian, you miserable piece of shit, knocked her down, and almost cause the death of her unborn child. Both of you have cause her unnecessary pain, as well as Jane. Your life is in my hands, and you will suffer. Gentlemen, prepare to meet your maker." The screams of the men begging for their lives, were heard by no one. Paddy Doyle smiled as he looked at his handly worked, his whistle as he left the warehouse.
Four days later the ringing of Jane's and Maura's cellphone woke them up at 3:35 am with a call from dispatch. An hour later they arrived on the crime scene, at an abandoned warehouse. Three bodies are found in the warehouse located in 2 different rooms, 2 white males bodies, and the body of a white female. Crime scene techs were processing both scenes, Maura ordered the bodies be taken back to the morgue. They arrived back at BPD, Maura headed down to the morgue to meet with Susie and Kent, Jane headed to the bullpen to meet with the team. After an hour of meeting with the team, grabbing breakfast, and coffee, tea, orange juice, and water Jane headed down to the morgue to see her wife.
Arriving in the morgue, Jane headed to Maura's office, entering she walked over to the desk and placing the food on the desk, she leaned in and placed a kiss on her wife's lips. Maura asks Jane to close the door, and she moved to the sofa with the drinks and food. Discussing the case as they ate, Maura reassuring Jane that both suga and her were okay. Jane massages Maura's legs and feet for her, enjoying the time with her wife. Kent was performing the autopsies on the two males. Maura had performed the autopsy on the female victim, noting the silver badge stabbed into her left palm and carved on the top of the hand was E 1 and she was raped. Maura had informed Jane of the previous victim with the silver badge stabbed in the palm of her hand and on top was carved T 8 and she was raped also.
Before they can discuss it farther, Jane and Maura are called into Cavanaugh's office, along with Frost, Sam, Korsack, Frankie and Nina. Entering the office they noticed that Agen Dean is there. Dean jumps up saying, " Jane, I need to talk you alone." Jane shake her head no. Maura sits in a chair next to Jane, holding her hand, while Cavenaugh informs them about the missing "prisoners", and that the FBI is saying that the BPD screwed up. Showing the video of the 4 "FBI" agents taking them. Dean says " I know that it was Paddy Doyle and his men, where is he, Dr. Isles, where is your father? You will tell me are I will arrest both Jane and you for assisting him." Jumping up Jane gets in his face, saying "I would like to see you try, you fucking piece of shit, and you will watch how you speak to my wife and the mother of my child. You will not upset her, and we have no idea where he is, if you remember correctly we were at Mass General, you no good excuse of a man." Maura grabs Jane's arm and says "Sweetheart, please watch your language and calm down, he is not worth losing your job." Cavenaugh say to Dean, "at least we don't throw fits like a 3 year olds". Dean says "I did not". Cavenaugh shows everyone the video of Dean throwing a fit and calling every officer at BPD stupid morons. Everyone in the room starts laughing at Dean. He puts his head down and walks out the office with his tail between his legs.
