Chapter 9
Blood As Cold As Ice
"Casey, do you have any idea what you have done? I told you I was not interested in you, I am happily married to Maura and we are expecting our first child. So leave me alone, and stay away from us." says Jane. Reaching out grabbing Jane's arms, "Now Jane, you know you are now that way. It is only because this woman dresses the ways she do, and she has tricked you into believing that spawn of Satan child is yours, and then she tricked you into marrying her." says Casey. Maura could see that her wife was about to lose what little cool she had left. Placing her hand on Jane's arm, she says, "Sweetheart, remember what I said, please take a deep calming breath, he is not worth it, our child, me and your job is the most important thing." Out the corner of Jane's eye, she see Casey about to take a swing at Maura and in one swift move she places herself between him and Maura, and taking a right hook to her chin, before she knocked him out by punching him in the face. Turning to her wife, "Baby, are you alright? You are not hurt? Frost, Frankie take this piece of shit down and book him."
Sitting in the conference room with a ice pack on her swollen left hand, Jane and the rest of the team listen to all the new evidences that had been found, including a video of the three suspects dumping the last two victims. With the help of Angela from the Jeffersonian and the FBI, they were able to get video from traffic cameras, and other surveillance footage. Sam was sitting there in shock half listening as Brennan and Maura explaining why the bullets were never found is because they were made out of blood, then frozen till they were used. This first victim was shot using blood that was taken from Jane during her annual physical, after that each victim's was shot with a blood bullet that was the previous victim's. The letters and numbers carved would spell out CARTER and the numbers represented the date of the mugging and murders of Sam's parents. As they were finishing up the meeting, the SWAT team was out arresting the 3 suspects.
As the SWAT teams returned bringing in the three suspects, who were Detective Darrin Crowe, Dr. Kent Drake, and Thomas Rizzoli, leading each one into separate interrogation rooms. Watching from conference are Cavanaugh, Jane, Maura, Sam, and the rest of the team that were part of solving the case. Crowe see Sam and starts screaming this is all your fault, you got credit for my case. "What a wimp, needs to grow some balls and be a man." Jane says. As Crowe is being dragged away by officers.
The next Chapter will contain flashback and the reason Crowe blames Sam. Hope you are enjoying.
