Family Who's Who Water Balloon Challenge (I'm Tired)
AN: I am planning on doing a part three for "Trauma" to show Nashi developing coping mechanisms for herself. But, it's been a busy past two days (like, my car died and I had to buy a new one busy) and I'm tired. So I decided to write something a little less intense for today (and, hey, you guys could use some goofy fluff after all the angst I've put you through.) So...yeah, just goofy nonsense! Also, more Cool Auntie Cana enjoy!
Cana chuckled evilly to herself as she finished her set up. She turned to look at Max, Warren, and Nab, who all grinned and nodded. She nodded back as she slinked off to find her prey, this would be fun!
She soon found the Dreyars sitting around a table, cleaning up after a family lunch.
"Hey, Laxus, Mira, Farrah, Cato, July, c'mere," she called, motioning with her hand. The family all stood and followed her, not sure what she was planning, but going with her nonetheless.
Cana led them to a row of five chairs, sitting side by side in the middle of the guild hall.
"Alright, kids sit in the three middle chairs," Cana instructed. "Laxus and Mira, stand behind them."
"Alright, Cana, what's this about?" Laxus asked as he took his position behind the chairs.
"Well, you guys know about the ILCW, right?" Cana asked.
"The inner lacrima communication web? Yeah," Mirajane answered. "It's all anyone's been able to talk about since it was unveiled a month ago."
"Well, I thought it would be a good idea to upload some videos to prompt our guild. Show them we're more than just a bunch of thug-beating wizards. We're a family who can have fun in between missions," Cana smiled mischievously as Warren stepped to her side, a recording lacrima in his hand.
"So…?" Laxus asked.
"So, I thought we'd do a 'who's who' video for the different families," Cana said, pulling a bit of folded paper from her pocket.
A crowd was beginning to form around the Dreyar family as Cana continued to explain. "I'll ask you two a who's who question, and you answer by telling us the kid you think best fits."
"Sounds simple enough," Mira smiled.
"But there's a catch," Cana grinned.
"There always is with you," Laxus rolled his eyes.
Farrah, Cato, and July shared some concerned glances. This wasn't sounding too good for them…
Max and Nab suddenly walked up behind Mira and Laxus, carrying a huge bucket between them.
"Instead of just pointing or saying your answer, you're going to drop a water balloon on the kid you think best fits," Cana chuckled.
The crowd all laughed as the three Dreyar kids' mouths dropped open.
"And since you guys are the guild's first family, you get to go first!" Cana cheered.
"Wait, wait, wait," Farrah shouted, standing up.
Laxus chuckled as he grabbed her shoulders and forced her back into the chair. "Oh, no, no, no, sit down, squirt!"
"Wait, we didn't sign up for this!" Cato whined.
"Too late, you're stuck now!" Cana chuckled.
"Aw, man," July muttered, crossing his arms and pouting.
"Oh, this will be fun!" Mirajane giggled.
Farrah just covered her face, already blushing.
"You recording, Warren?" Cana asked.
"Yup," Warren smiled.
"Alright, here we go!"
Mirajane and Laxus both grabbed a water balloon in anticipation of the first question as their three children braced themselves.
"Who's the biggest trouble maker?" Cana asked.
"Oh no," Farrah grumbled as both of her parents dropped a water balloon on her head, causing an eruption of laughter from the crowd.
"Did you hear her say 'oh no,' she knew," someone chuckled as Farrah wiped the water from her face, smiling despite her red cheeks.
Cana chuckled before reading the next question. "Who's the most responsible?"
Mirajane and Laxus looked at each other, shrugged, then dropped the water balloons on Farrah's head again.
"Wait, how can she be both?" Cana asked.
"Loopholes," Laxus answered. "She loves finding loopholes."
"Pfft," Farrah sputtered as she pushed her hair out of her face.
"That's not being a troublemaker, that's just being smart," Cana sniffed before reading the next question. "Who has the worst attitude?"
"Oh, com-glub, glub," Farrah shouted as two more water balloons fell on her head.
"I'm gonna drown before this is over," Farrah grumbled, making everyone laugh as Cana read the next question.
"Who's the sweet one?"
Farrah smiled in triumph, as Cato's eyes grew wide and two water balloons fell on his head.
"Finally, not me!" Farrah cheered as Cato coughed.
"Aw, sweet wittle Cato," Cana crooned before reading the next question. "Who's the social butterfly?"
Cato just hung his head in defeat as his parents dropped two more water balloons on him.
"Who's the shy one?" Cana asked.
Farrah and Cato both grinned at July.
"Wait!" July yelled before the balloons fell on him and he began coughing. "No fair!"
"I got three, Cato got two, don't compl-"
"Who eats the most?"
"Okay, correction, I got four," Farrah sighed right before two more water balloons fell on her.
July laughed and clapped his hands, until he heard the next question:
"Who's the pickiest eater?"
"Uh-oh," he said before two waterballoons fell on him.
"Who's the messiest?"
"Aw, man!" Farrah shouted as she got soaked by yet two more water balloons. "I'm starting to think you have it out for me, Aunt Cana."
"I'm not the one throwing water balloons at you!"
"But this was your evil plan."
"All my plans are evil plans, moving on," Cana grinned. "Who's the neat freak?"
Cato hung his head in defeat as he got two water balloons to the head.
"Who's the most likely to wear the same outfit three days in a row?"
"No!" July shouted, but to no avail He got soaked once more.
"Who has the best style?"
"Okay, that one I'll take," Farrah grinned, leaning her head back and taking the water balloons to the face.
"Who's the meanest?"
Both Farrah and Cato pointed to July.
"Hey!" July shouted, but it was too late to save him from the water balloons.
"Who's the funniest?"
"I'm telling you, you're out to get me!" Farrah shouted as she got another round of water to the head.
"Who is the loudest?"
"Are you kidding me!?" Farrah shouted before getting another soaking.
"Who is the sneakiest?"
Cato groaned in a comedically over-dramatic tone as he got water ballooned again.
"Who's the biggest drama queen?"
"Really!?" Farrah shouted before getting another soaking.
"Who's the most chill?"
Cato just shrugged, accepting his fate.
"Who would start a fight?"
Farrah just shook her head in disgust as she got another round of water balloons, but laughed as July also got two to the head.
"You can't choose both of us!" July protested.
"Sure they can!" Cana said, before asking: "Who would be the peacemaker?"
"And last but not least," Cana announced. "Who would win in a fight?"
"Okay, hang on, we've got to tag team this one," Laxus said, grabbing a second water balloon. He dropped one over Farrah and Cato's head as Mirajane dropped one over July's head.
"That's right, all three of 'em!" Guildarts cheered, clapping his hands. "That's the Fairy Tail way!"
"Alright, brilliantly done!" Cana said, with a dramatic flourish of her hands. "Now onto my next victims...Redfoxes, come on down!"
"Oh, no!" Persephone grumbled.
"C'mon, Sephy, this will be fun!" Koree cheered, grabbing her sister's hand and dragging her to the chairs.
"Gee-hee," Gajeel chuckled as he and Levy took their place behind the chairs. "Don't think we'll go easy on you two!"
"Wasn't counting on it," Persephone muttered.
"Give us your worst, old man!" Koree cheered.
"Old man!?" Gajeel exclaimed. "You get an extra one just for that."
Koree sputtered as Gajeel threw a water balloon at her face.
"Honey, we haven't even started!" Levy protested.
"Get onto Koree, she's the one who called me an old man," Gajeel playfully argued.
"Alright, alright, alright," Cana called as she started reading. "Who's the biggest trouble maker?"
Koree held her arms open in a dramatic flare as her parents dropped water balloons on her.
"Who's the most responsible?"
"Meh," Persephone hung her head as Gajeel and Levy dropped water balloons on her head.
"Who has the worst attitude?"
"Meh," Persephone hung her head again as she got another round of water balloons.
"Who's the sweet one?"
"ME!" Koree cheered just before she got soaked.
"Who's the social butterfly?"
"ME!" Koree said again as she got two water balloons to the head.
"Who's the shy one?"
"Hm," Levy put a finger to her thumb. "Neither of them are really-HEY!"
Everyone erupted into guffaws of laughter as Gajeel dropped his water balloon on Levy.
"We're supposed to be throwing them at the kids, not each other!" Levy sputtered.
"Gee-hee, sorry shorty, but you are the shyest of the bunch," Gajeel shrugged as both Koree and PErsephone fell off their chairs laughing. Cana waited until they'd climbed back into their seats to ask the next question.
"Who eats the most?"
Levy smiled evilly before launching her waterballoon at Gajeel's face. Both of the twins fell out of their seats once again.
"Alright, guess I was asking for that," Gajeel giggled as he pushed his hair out of his face.
"I wasn't lying, either," Levy smiled.
"Who's the pickiest eater?" Cana asked, trying to get the process back on track.
Persephone sighed and hung her head as she got soaked.
"Who's the messiest?"
Koree leaned back in her chair, arms open as she got soaked.
"Who's the neat freak?"
Persephone just shrugged as two more water balloons fell on her head.
"I'm an archive wizard, if I'm not organized my data gets tangled and busted," she explained in a bit of an annoyed voice as she wiped water out of her face.
"Who's the most likely to wear the same outfit three days in a row?"
"We just busted her for this, so I say double water balloons," Levy said, pointing at Koree.
"Bring it on!" Koree cheered, taking four water balloons to the head.
"Who has the best style?"
Persephone managed to crack a small smile as she pointed to herself and took her soaking.
"Who's the meanest?"
Persephone's smile faded as she crossed her arms and took another soaking.
"Who's the funniest?"
Koree smiled, nodded her head, and pointed to herself, taking her water balloons with pride.
"Who is the loudest?"
Koree's grin widened as she pointed to herself again and took another soaking.
"Who is the sneakiest?"
Persephone sighed, ducking her head as the waterballoons fell on her.
"Who's the biggest drama queen?"
Koree pointed to herself, doing a small dance in her seat as she got soaked.
"Who's the most chill?"
Persephone shrugged, taking her water balloons with a sigh.
"Who would start a fight?"
Both girls took a soaking, coughing and wiping the water from their faces.
"Who would be the peacemaker?"
"Does not apply!" Levy declared.
"Nope," Gajeel shook his head, "Neither of 'em."
Everyone laughed as Persephone and Koree shared a high-five.
"And finally," Cana said with a flourish of her arms. "Who would win in a fight?"
Persephone and Koree locked hands as they took the final soaking together.
"That's what I thought, well done!" Cana clapped, arousing everyone else to applaud as well.
"Hwy, how are we going to do the only children?" Romeo asked, Isla on his hip.
"Oh, um…" Cana thought for a minute. "We'll just do them all together. Lorelle, Isla, Vance, get up there! Dad!"
"Huh?" Guildarts asked.
"I don't want one parent favoring their kid over the others, get up there."
"Aw, but they're so cute…" Guildarts whined.
"It's just water, it won't hurt them," Cana sighed.
"Alright, alright," Guildarts sighed as he stepped up behind the chairs.
"Don't get me wet!" Lorelle ordered.
"That's not how the game works," Cana sighed.
"Just take it like a man, sweetums," Elfman shouted.
"That makes no sense, Daddy!" Lorelle shouted back.
Cana sighed as she read the first question.
"Who's the biggest trouble maker?"
"Sorry, kiddo," Guildarts said before dropping a water balloon on Lorelle's head.
"Ack!" she coughed and sputtered as Cana read the next question:
"Who's the most responsible?"
Guildarts dropped a water balloon over Isla's head.
"Ooh!" she cheered, shaking her head. "Splashy!"
At seeing Isla having fun, Lorelle decided to hold off on complaining. She wasn't going to let Isla steal the spotlight!
"Who has the worst attitude?"
"Hey!" Lorelle shouted as Guildarts dropped not one, but two waterballoons on her head. All the other children watching on held their hands to their mouths to try and keep from laughing. Lorelle frowned, opening her mouth to whine, before Isla patted her shoulder.
"Aw, don't be sad. It's just a game. You look like a mermaid with wet hair, anyways."
"Aw!" all the adults crooned.
"Well, I don't even have to ask the next question after that, but I will anyway," Cana said. "Who's the sweet one?"
Guildarts dropped a water balloon on Isla's head.
"Wee!" Isla cheered, laughing as she pushed her hair out of her face.
"Hey!" Lorelle whined. "Why is she getting all the good ones!"
"It's not over yet, sweetie," Evergreen reminded her.
"Who's the social butterfly?"
Guildats hesitated before dropping a water balloon on little Vance. Vance coughed and shook his head, wiping at his face.
"Uh-oh," Lisanna whimpered, afraid her son would start crying. "It's okay, honey."
Vance pulled his hands away from his face, grinned, and then laughed as he splashed at the puddle in his chair.
"That's my boy!" Bixlow declared. "Laugh it off!"
"Who's the shy one?" Cana asked.
"Wee!" Isla cheered as she took another soaking with giggles.
"Who eats the most?"
"Uh…" Guildarts looked at the three children, not sure who to pick. Finally not being able to make a decision he just threw the water balloon in his own face, making everyone laugh.
"Uncle Guildarts is silly!" Isla giggled.
"Who's the pickiest eater?" Cana asked between chuckles, still laughing at her father.
"Sorry, kid," Guildarts sighed as he dropped another balloon on Lorelle's head.
"I'm not that picky!" Lorelle protested.
"You won't eat a sandwich unless the crust is cut off," Guildarts said.
"Because the crust is nasty!"
"My point exactly."
"Who's the messiest?"
Guildarts gently dropped a water balloon on Vance, who just laughed and squealed as he patted at his soaked, lavender head.
"Who's the neat freak?"
"Uh, are any of them that neat?" Guildarts asked.
"ME!" Lorelle protested. "I'm clean!"
"Oh, now you want one? Fine," Guildarts dropped the balloon on Lorelle's head.
"Who's the most likely to wear the same outfit three days in a row?"
"Uh...feels like a cheat to pick Vance since he can't even really change clothes on his own…" Guildarts muttered.
At hearing his name Vance began to dance with excitement and clap his hands.
"Oh, sounds like he wants it anyways, though, so…" Guildarts dropped the balloon on him, making him laugh.
"Who has the best style?"
"ME! ME! ME!" Lorelle screamed.
"Alright, alright, sheesh," Guildarts sighed, dropping the balloon on her head.
"See, Mommy, I finally got a good one-"
"Who's the meanest?"
"HEY!" Lorelle shouted as she got another soaking. "That wasn't a good one!"
"It's just a game, don't be sad," Isla reminded her.
"Who's the funniest?"
Vance laughed as he got another soaking.
"Who is the loudest?"
Vance squealed in laughter as he got another round of water balloons.
"Who is the sneakiest?"
"Hm…" Guildarts tapped his chin. "None of these anklebiters are that sneaky, but Isla's the quietest and she hasn't gotten on in a while, so…"
Isla giggled as she shook the water from her eyes.
"Who's the biggest drama queen?"
"No, not me, that's not a good one!" Lorelle shouted, covering her head as she saw Guildarts moving towards her.
"But it's a queen," Isla said, confused.
"Oh, yeah," Lorelle uncovered her head. "Okay, nevermind! I'll be a queen!"
"That's my girl," Evergreen cheered, a hand over her heart.
"Uh...does she realize…" Max wondered out loud.
"Just let her go with it," Nab advised.
"Who's the most chill?" Cana asked.
Isla did a small, giggling, happy dance as she got wet again.
"Who would start a fight?"
Guildarts dropped a balloon on a pouting Lorelle's head.
"Who would be the peacemaker?"
"Yay!" Isla cheered as she got another soaking.
"And who would win in a fight?" Lorelle smiled and Isla giggled as they both got wet.
"Eh?" Vance asked in disappointment.
"Hang on, I've only got two hands," Guildarts said as he dropped a balloon on Vance who giggled. "There you go, little guy."
"Alright, let's see, who do I want next?" Cana asked, drumming her fingers together evilly as she spotted something.
"Uh oh, looks like we got someone who's trying to hide…" she said in a sing-song voice as she pulled to one of the posts in the guild hall. "You should know better than trying to hide from Auntie Cana, Von!"
"No, stop!" Von squealed as Cana chased him out from behind the post and began tickling him.
"And just for that, your family can go next. Fernandez crew, get up here!"
"Nice going, Von," Minette whined.
"We'd have to go up there at some point," Roman shrugged. "Might as well get it over with.
"This will be fun!" Eva declared, taking her seat right in the middle as Erza took her place behind.
"Prepared to get soaked, Eva," she said as she poked her daughter under the arm.
Eva giggled and recoiled, but said: "I was born ready!"
Little did Erza know that Eva was giggling for more than one reason. As Roman took his seat next to her she leaned over and whispered in his ears. His eyes grew wide but he smiled and nodded, bending over to pretend and look for something under his seat. Eva whispered to Minette and Von as they joined her, they nodded and giggled.
Jellal joined his wife with a smile on his face.
"Alright, here we go," Cana said, pulling the list of questions out again. "Who's the biggest trouble maker?"
"Roman, just scoot over for a minute," Jellal said right before he and Erza pelted the triplets with water balloons.
"We all saw that one coming," Laxus giggled.
"Who's the most responsible?" Cana asked once she stopped laughing.
Roman shrugged and pinched his nose as his parents dropped water balloons on him.
"Who has the worst attitude?"
Roman, Eva, and Von all turned and looked at Minette before she got soaked.
"Who's the sweet one?"
Eva smiled, setting her hands under her chin before she got soaked. She'd just finished wiping the water from her face when the next question was asked:
"Who's the social butterfly?"
Eva smiled again as she got another round of water balloons.
"Who's the shy one?"
"Pfft!" Von coughed as he got soaked.
"Who eats the most?"
Roman shrugged and held his nose again as he took another round of water balloons.
"Who's the pickiest eater?"
"Uh…" Erza and Jellal looked back and forth between the two girls before shrugging to each other and dousing them both in water balloons.
"Who's the messiest?"
"Hey!" Von whined as he got soaked.
"It's the sad truth bro, accept it," Roman said, right before Cana said:
"Who's the neat freak?"
"Oh, well, speak of the devil," Roan said before pinching his nose and getting soaked.
"Who's the most likely to wear the same outfit three days in a row?"
Von closed his eyes before getting soaked again.
"Who has the best style?"
"Uh…" Erza and Jellal looked from Eva, to Roman, before just soaking them both.
"Who's the meanest?"
Roman, Eva, and Von pointed to Minette.
"Hey-ACH!" Minette shouted as she got two waterballoons to the head.
"Who's the funniest?"
"Alright, scoot over again," Jellal said to Roman as he and Erza pelted the triplets in water balloons.
"Who is the loudest?"
Minette sighed before she got wet once more.
"Who is the sneakiest?"
Roman held his nose as he took two water balloons to the head.
"Okay, he's a ninja, that was kinda obvious," Cana shrugged as she read the next question. "Who's the biggest drama queen?"
"MOI!" Eva dramatically announced.
"Yes, and you're a little too proud of it," Jellal chuckled as he and Erza dropped their water balloons on Eva.
"Who's the most chill?"
"I don't really have a choice living with these three," Roman said before pinching his nose and getting soaked.
"Who would start a fight?"
Before Erza and Jellal could take their pick Roman snapped his fingers. Four water balloons requipped into his and the triplets laps. They all turned and launched the balloons at Erza who sputtered in shock. Jellal covered his mouth and doubled over in laughter.
Everyone erupted into screaming laughs of shock and hilarity.
"What-" Erza asked as she wiped her hair out of her face.
"I used my magic to sneak eight water balloons to Roman while you were tickling me," Eva chuckled.
"Wait, eight?" Jellal asked, suddenly stopping in his laughter.
"Uh-oh," Cana snicker. "Alright, kids, who would be the peacemaker?"
Jellal sighed, holding his arms out as four more water balloons appeared and his children threw them at their father.
"And finally, who would win in a fight?" Cana asked.
The children all ducked and covered their heads as their parents heaped armfuls of water balloons on them.
"Hey, did you leave any balloons for anyone else?" Cana asked.
"Yes, there's still some left," Erza chuckled as she and her family made their exit.
"Alright then, Orlandos, come on down!" Erza cheered, beckoning her next batch of victims over.
"Splash time!" Vera cheered, racing ahead of her family.
"Do I have to?" Benedict grumbled.
"Of course, silly, come one!" Portia cheered, dragging her older brother to his seat.
Reina giggled as she stood behind her children and picked up a water balloon.
"Alright, who's the biggest trouble maker?" Cana asked.
Reina chuckled as she dropped a water balloon on Vera's head. The little girl giggled as she wiped her wet bangs from her face.
"Who's the most responsible?"
Benedict ducked his head and closed his eyes as he braced himself for a good dousing. He shook his head to get the water out of his hair.
"Who has the worst attitude?"
Benedict sighed and ducked his head again and got another water balloon to the face.
"Who's the sweet one?"
"Uh-oh," Portia giggled as she took a water balloon to the top of her head.
"Who's the social butterfly?"
"Me again!" Portia giggled, taking another water balloon to the face.
"Who's the shy one?"
"One more time!" Portia laughed as she took her third balloon in a row.
"Who eats the most?"
"Eh," Benedict grumbled as he braced himself for another soaking.
"Yeah, growing boys eat a lot of food so they can become men!" Elfman cheered.
"Whatever you say," Benedict said, pushing his hair out of his face.
"Who's the pickiest eater?"
Reina giggled as she dropped a balloon on Vera's head.
"Who's the messiest?"
Vera had just finished wiping the water out of her face when she took another soaking.
"Who's the neat freak?"
"Me!" Portia raised her hand, laughing as the balloon burst and sprayed water all over her.
"Who's the most likely to wear the same outfit three days in a row?"
"Pfft!" Vera spat as she got splashed again.
"Who has the best style?"
Benedict smirked this time as he took his soaking.
"Yeah, he does, gggrrr" Farrah growling in Benedict's direction.
Benedict smirked as he winked at her.
"Watch your mouth, young lady!" Laxus warned, causing both teenagers to tense.
"Who's the meanest?"
Benedict's blush disappeared as he took another soaking.
"And yet he's the one with the girlfriend," Vera sighed.
"You know what they say, girls like bad boys," Portia batted her eyelashes in a teasing manner at her brother.
"Who's the funniest?" Cana asked.
Portia coughed as she got soaked.
"Who is the loudest?"
"Heh, give it to her again, Mom," Benedict smiled as Reina dropped another balloon on her head.
"Who is the sneakiest?"
"Give it to him good, Mom!" Portia cheered.
"Hey!" Benedict grumbled before he got soaked.
"You guys look like drowned rats!" Vera laughed.
"Who's the biggest drama queen?"
Both Benedict and Portia turned and grinned and turned to Vera. "Give it to her good mom!" they both cheered.
"Huh?" Vera gasped before she was soaked.
"Who's the most chill?"
Portia stopped laughing at Vera as she got soaked and coughed as she pushed her hair out of her face.
"Who would start a fight?"
"Oh," Benedict hung his head, the balloon busting over his brow.
"Who would be the peacemaker?"
Portia smiled as she got soaked as well.
"And, who would win in a fight?"
Reina smiled as she dropped a balloon over Portia and Vera's heads. She reached to drop one over Benedict's head, only to find that he was way ahead of her. He picked up a water balloon and smashed it over his own head.
"Good job, guys," Cana clapped as the Orlandos moved away from the chairs.
Benedict grinned mischievously as he ran up behind Farrah, wrapped his arms around her, and picked her up.
"Hey, hon," he smiled.
"Benedict! I just started getting dry!" Farrah whined as he spun her around.
"Put my daughter down, young man!" Laxus ordered.
Benedict quickly set Farrah down and took a step away from him, a nervous look on his face.
"Papa, leave him alone," Farrah whined.
"Alright, Fullbusters, front and center," Cana called.
"Storm, you can't use a water body!" Bianca shouted as she led her brothers to their seats.
"Aw, why not?" Storm asked.
"It's cheating, you gotta get wet just like the rest of us!" Bianca stated, taking her seat.
Gray smiled as he stepped up behind his daughter. "C'mon, Storm, be a good sport about it."
"Ugh, fine!" Storm said, taking his seat."
"I'll bet I get the least balloons!" Meeko cheered as he and Juven took their seats.
"I wouldn't be so sure," Bianca answered, eyes narrowing. "Remember what the first question is?"
"What?" Meeko asked, just as Cana spoke:
"Who's the biggest trouble maker?"
Gray and Juvia immediately dropped balloons on Meeko's head.
"Hey!" Meeko coughed. "At least give me a warning first!"
"And what fun would that be?" Gray asked with a smile.
"Who's the most responsible?"
Storm closed his eyes just before he got soaked.
"See? No water body, happy?" Storm asked Bianca.
"The game's not over yet," Bianca crossed her arms right before...
"Who has the worst attitude?"
"Ack!" Bianca coughed as she got soaked.
"Who's the sweet one?"
Storm shivered as he got splashed once again. "Still no water body…"
"Whatever," Bianca rolled her eyes.
"Who's the social butterfly?"
Juvia and Gray carefully dropped the balloons on Juven who jumped, shook his head, then smiled.
"Why is it that the babies are better sports than Lorelle?" Bianca muttered to her brothers who both shrugged.
"I heard that!" Lorelle screeched.
"So?" Bianca asked.
"Who's the shy one?" Cana asked.
Gray and Juvia dropped their balloons on Storm's head.
"Still no-"
"Are you going to say that every time you get splashed?" Bianca asked.
"You're the one who brought it up," Storm reminded her.
"Who eats the most?"
Storm got splashed again.
"Stil no-"
"Yeah, yeah," Bianca muttered.
"Who's the pickiest eater?"
Juven giggled as he got wet again.
"Who's the messiest?"
"Aw man!" Meeko shouted before he got soaked once more.
"Told you you'd get a lot," Bianca grinned.
"Shut it, Bi," Meeko muttered.
"Who's the neat freak?"
"Pay back!" Meeko cheered as Bianca got two water balloons to the head.
"Who's the most likely to wear the same outfit three days in a row?"
"Right back at you," Bianca singh-songs as Meeko got two waterballoons to the face.
"Who has the best style?"
"Back at you again," Meeko grinned as Bianca got soaked.
"Who's the meanest?"
"Back at you," Bianca said to Meeko.
"No, you," Meeko insisted.
"Uh-uh, you," Bianca argued.
"Actually…" Juvia smiled as she and Gray dropped balloons on both of their heads. "Both of you!"
"Hey!" the two whined as Storm and Juven laughed at them.
"Who's the funniest?"
"Like, who has the best sense of humor, or who's the most unintentionally funny?" Gray asked.
"Both," Cana shrugged.
"Okay, well, Bianca, little Miss Smart Alec," Gray said as he and Juvia dropped the balloons on her head. "Best sense of humor. Most unintentionally funny…"
"Hey!" Meeko shouted as he got splashed, turning in disgust to his parents.
"You are quite accident prone," Juvia giggled.
"Eh, that's true," Meeko shrugged.
"Who is the loudest?"
"Aw, come on!" Meeko grumbled as he got splashed again.
"Who is the sneakiest?"
"Bianca!" Meeko sing-songed as his sister got soaked once more.
"Who's the biggest drama queen?"
"Ha!" both Meeko and Bianca laughed, happy it was Storm getting splashed instead of one of them this time.
"Who's the most chill?"
"Ju-Ju," the three oldest children called as their youngest brother got soaked and giggled.
"Who would start a fight?" Cana asked.
Bianca and Meeko shared a glance, then hung their heads in defeat as they both got soaked.
"Who would be the peacemaker?"
"Every. Single. Day!" Storm punctuated as he took two water balloons to the head.
"And finally, who would win in a fight?" Cana grinned as Gray and Juvia dropped a water balloon over all four of their children's heads.
"Alright, we're done," Storm said, grinning. "Water body!"
"Hey!" Bianca screeched as Storm hugged her and Meeko.
"As if we weren't soaked enough, Storm!" Meeko shouted, making everyone laugh.
"And last but not least, Dragneels, get your butts down here!" Cana called.
"Alright, this will be great!" Natsu cheered, rubbing his hands.
"Let's try not to go too hard on them," Lucy muttered.
"Ah, they're tough, they can take it. Right kids?"
"Right!" the three older kids cheered as they and the twins took their seats. Kyri was already laughing, and Luna smiled as she clapped her hands.
"Alright, last round," Cana said, rubbing her hands as he began to read. "Who's the biggest trouble maker?"
All the girls pointed to Igneel who instantly got soaked.
"Frefreshing," Igneel smiled.
"Refreshing, the word's refreshing, bro," Nashi corrected.
"Whatever," Igneel shrugged as he pushed his hair out of his face, just in time for-
"Who's the most responsible?"
Igneel pointed to Layla who's eyes grew wide before she took two water balloons to the head.
"Who has the worst attitude?"
Nashi's mouth dropped open as she got soaked. "Hey!"
"Teenage years have begun to sneak up on you, eh, Natsu?" Laxus called. Natsu just widened his eyes in response.
"Who's the sweet one?"
Nashi, Layla, Igneel, and Kyri all pointed to Luna. Luna looked past her shoulder, trying to see what they were pointing at before she got soaked. She jumped, shivered, then laughed.
"Who's the social butterfly?"
Nashi, Layla, and Igneel pointed to Kyri, as Luna was too busy pushing her hair out of her face. Kyri squealed in anticipation just before she got soaked, then she giggled. Luna finally cleared her vision, then laughed when she found her twin was soaked. Kyri laughed back, clapping her hands.
"Who's the shy one?"
"Ooh!" Luna cheered as she got soaked once again. Kyri just laughed all the harder, nearly falling out of her seat.
"Whoa, careful, sweetie," Lucy called as she caught Kyri and put her back in her seat.
"Who eats the most?"
All the girls turned and smiled at their brother, who leaned his head back and held his arms out wide.
"Hit me with your best shot!" he cheered as Natsu and Lucy threw water balloons at him.
"Who's the pickiest eater?"
"One of them," Lucy said. "They'll eat almost anything-HEY!"
"No fair stealing my move, Salamander!" Gajeel called as Natsu shoved a balloon into Lucy's face.
"Well, it's the truth," Natsu shrugged.
"Who's the messiest?" Cana asked between laughs, eyes narrowing as she had a good idea of what was about to happen.
She was right, because Lucy smashed a balloon over Natsu's head.
"Hey!" Natsu protested.
"Who's the neat freak?" Cana shouted, enjoying this way too much.
Natsu threw another balloon at Lucy.
"Who's the most likely to wear the same outfit three days in a row?"
Lucy threw another balloon and Natsu.
"Who has the best style?"
Natsu threw yet another balloon at Lucy.
"Hey, you're supposed to be throwing them at us, not each other!" Nashi protested just as Cana called:
"Who's the meanest?"
"Alright, wish granted, Firecracker," Natsu said as he and Lucy threw their balloons at Nashi, who sputtered as she wiped her hair out of her face.
"That's what you get!" Igneel shouted to his oldest sister before Cana called:
"Who's the funniest?"
"Oh, probably shouldn't have said that," Igneel muttered right before he got soaked.
"Who is the loudest?"
Igneel threw his hands up as he took two more water balloons to the head.
"Who is the sneakiest?"
"Eek!" Layla shivered as she took the next round of water balloons.
"Who's the biggest drama queen?"
Natsu narrowed his eyes at Lucy.
"Don't you dare…" Lucy warned.
Natsu lifted his arm like he was going to throw the water balloon at his wife, then tossed it on Kyri's head at the last second, making everyone laugh.
Kyri pushed her hair out of her face, giggling.
"Who's the most chill?"
Luna smiled and squealed with fun as she got soaked.
"Who would start the fight?"
"Hm, I think that's a tie…" Lucy mused.
"I agree," Natsu said as he and Lucy dropped balloons on both Nashi and Igneel.
"Who would be the peacemaker?"
"Everyday, like Storm," Layla sighed as she took her soaking with a smile.
"And finally, who would win in a fight?" Cana asked.
"Okay, scoot in kids," Natsu said as he bent down.
"Natsu, what are you-NO!" Lucy screeched as Natsu dumped the remainder of the bucket of water balloons over himself and his entire family, causing a tidal wave of giggles and squeals, as well as fun.
"Nice," Cana nodded in approval.
"Now that we are all completely soaked," Lucy sighed, taking off her shoes and dumping them out.
"Good job guys, this is great!" Cana cheered. "The people are going to love this!"
