Chapter 3 Sleep Crawler
The lady closed her eyes and started to mumble."Oh, husband of darkness, have the little ones out to bring this soul to you"."What? What are you doing?" Danny cried."Shh" the lady hushed as she put her finger to Danny's lips. All of the sudden, pounding was heard at the door. The lady pointed at the door and the door busted open. Their were babies crawling right towards them! "What's happening?" Danny panicked. The lady leaned in close to him."Go with them" she whispered. Danny's eyes widened. She pushed him to the floor. Danny got to his hands and knees. The babies were right their in front of him! Then, the babies started to take him away. The lady smiled.
"Have fun with my husband" she said quietly.
The babies took Danny all the way to the room. The room was big and dark. Their was a tall chair in the room. The babies vanished!"Danny Zuko!" A voice boomed."Yeah?" Danny said."I have come for your soul!" the voice announced. All of the sudden, a tall man, which Danny presumed was the lady's husband, came down from above and sat on the chair. Lifting his palms, he lifted Danny off the ground and moved his finger's towards him.
Danny came right in front of him. The man started to hum a certain note and Danny's soul came right out of his body! Danny cringed in pain as his soul came out. The man put his hands down, dropping Danny to the ground and opened a small bottle.
Danny's soul entered the bottle. The man closed the bottle and set it down beside him. The man walked up to Danny's lifeless body laying on the ground. The man smiled a small smile and took out another small bottle from his pocket. Their was a red substance in the bottle. The man opened it and tossed the substance onto Danny. The man walked back to his chair and took out another bottle from his pocket that had a light green substance in it. He picked up the bottle with Danny's soul in it and mixed the light green substance in with Danny's soul. The man walked back to Danny and threw the mixed substance onto Danny's body.
The man started to hum. A minute later, Danny came back to life and went to his hands and knees. Danny looked up at the man."Are you gonna be a good boy and listen to my wife?" the man asked."Yes" Danny said in a small voice.
"Good. Now crawl back to your mother" the man ordered. Danny turned around and started to crawl back to the lady. The man nodded."My work here is done" he said, satisfied as he watched Danny crawl away.
Outside The Dream
Kenickie and Danny were sleeping in the same bed together. They were both sound asleep, when suddenly… Danny got out of bed and started to crawl. The sudden movement woke Kenickie up. Kenickie was so tired until he saw Danny crawling. Danny wasn't just crawling… he was sleep crawling!"Zuko?" Kenickie called. But, Danny didn't hear him since he was still seeping."Are you sleep crawling?" Kenickie asked. Danny just kept on crawling."Mama" Danny said in a small voice that was more suitable for a small toddler than an eighteen year old."Danny?" Kenickie said."Mama" Danny repeated."Danny no! Watch out!" Kenickie cried, but it was too late.
Danny bumped his head on his bed room door and fell to the ground!"Danny!" Kenickie cried as he ran to his friend who was now laying on his right side. Kenickie was now next to his friend on his knees. Danny's eyes opened."Danny" Kenickie said, calmly."Ugh, Kenickie… what happened" Danny asked.
"You were sleep crawling and you bumped your head on the door… are you okay?" Kenickie asked.
"Yeah, yeah… I'm fine. It's just… I had this weird dream" Danny said.
"Did you see that lady again?" Kenickie wondered."Yeah… I think I saw her husband too" Danny answered.
"Did you tell her what I told you to tell her?" Kenickie wondered.
"Yes… but it didn't go as well the way I hoped" Danny replied.
"Care to tell me what happened?" Kenickie said."Sure" Danny said.
Danny got up off the ground and the two friends sat on the bed. Danny explained the whole dream. Kenickie sighed."I guess it didn't work out the way I hoped"."I thought you told me that she isn't real and that she's just a dream" Danny said."She still is. But, maybe theirs just more to get rid of her than just saying she's not real" Kenickie said."Got any ideas, Kenick's?" Danny asked."Not right now. But, I'll keep thinking" Kenickie answered.
