Chapter 11 Back Off
Lora put the camera down and cooed."Aww, my two little boys are so cute". Lora pinched Danny and Kenickie's cheeks. Kenickie angrily put his bottle down and sat up in his crib to face Danny's monster."That's it! I am so embarrassed! You are so going down, Lora Banks" Kenickie snapped. Danny just starred with wide eyes at the scene. Lora just laughed a little laugh."Someones a little on the cranky side, huh. Looks like somebody needs a nap". She ruffles Kenickie's hair, then she leans in close to him."You can never defeat me, Murdoch. You're my little baby, now". Kenickie pushed the crib bars down and jumped out. He then, pushed Lora against the wall. Ready to fight. Glaring at her.
"What is this? Some type of fight?" Lora wondered. Kenickie pushed Lora against the wall, harder."Yeah" Kenickie replied.
"Go ahead. Fight me" Lora insisted. Kenickie started punching Lora as hard as he could. His knuckles getting bloody from the impact. But, Lora didn't get bloody at all, or hurt, or bruised. She just stood there, smirking.
Kenickie stopped punching and looked at his bloody knuckles, then at a clean looking Lora."You can't hurt me, Murdoch. I'm a ghost and you can't hurt ghosts" she told him. Kenickie growled. He looked over at Danny and growled again. "I'll be back" Kenickie reassured Danny and ran out of the room. Lora walked up to Danny's crib."I'm sorry you had to see that, baby. You don't need to see any type of violence".
Meanwhile, Kenickie was running. He wanted to find a way to get rid of Lora. Kenickie stopped to rest. He didn't know where he was now, but he was sure he would find a way back. He was leaning against a wall. All of the sudden, the part of the wall started to move back and he fell backwards to the ground. The part of the wall stopped moving, Kenickie got up, turned around and walked inside. What he saw was a room… a bed room. Their was a bed with sheets and pillows, a desk, a closet and a book shelf. He figured this was Lora's room, so he walked to the book shelf to see if their was any type of book, to find out how to get rid of her. He found an old looking book and took it out. The book cover said 'Spells'. Kenickie opened up the book. He saw a content page and noticed their was a section for disappearing.
So, he flipped to the page. He finally found what he was looking for. Here is what the spell said.'I am here, but now I want to be gone. Let me rise and let me be free. Let me be as free as the wind-'. That was as far as Kenickie read before the book got taken away from him. Kenickie jumped with fright and turned around. He saw a man, bigger and taller than him."You're not supposed to be looking at this, Mr. Murdoch" the man spoke in a deep voice.
"How do you know who I am?" Kenickie asked.
"I am Lora's husband. So, of course I know who you are. Shouldn't you be with your mother" the man said.
"That lady is NOT my mother. She's not Danny Zuko's mother either" Kenickie said through gritted teeth.
"Oh, yeah, Danny Zuko. Your brother. You should probably go back to Lora anyways, or else I'll do something bad to Daniel" the man threatened.
"Back off! You're not gonna do anything to Danny. If you lay one finger on him" Kenickie began.
He didn't even have time to finish because he heard a very loud scream. Kenickie realized it was Danny and started to run, but the man used his powers to stop Kenickie from running, rose him higher off the floor, then let him fall to the ground.
Outside Of Dream
Kenickie woke up, startled. He was so startled that he was panting. When he calmed down a bit, he looked next to him to see that Danny was not in bed. Danny was laying on the floor.
